Mary is awesome! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding. It was such a delightful experience. She will ask you to send her some inspiration pictures so she can get a feel for your style and how you would like to look on your special day. Then she delivers on executing your style. She doesn’t force her own preferences on you. Mary also will send you some tips to make your skin healthy for your wedding day. If you follow her advice, your skin will look amazing and the makeup will be flawless.
I’m naturally introverted, but Mary and I had a wonderful conversation from beginning to end of my appointment. She really wants brides to feel pampered and beautiful, and she delivers. Her touch up bag that she sends with you is so helpful. Mary is absolutely wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her.

I felt so beautiful
Mary was one of the preferred vendors for my venue. When I initially reached out, she was extremely responsive and transparent about her services. When I went for my trial, she brought my inspiration pictures to life, but tailored them to fit me. I had originally just booked her for myself and my daughter, but about 1 month before the wedding asked her if we could fit in my other bridesmaids. She was happy to accommodate my request without question.
The day of my wedding she continuously checked in with me ensuring I was calm and had everything I needed/wanted. Like she had during my trial, Mary brought my vision to life and made me feel so beautiful and confident. My hair didn’t budge and my makeup was flawless through a few tears and a night full of dancing.
I would definitely recommend Mary for hair and makeup for any occasion where you want to look flawless.

From the very start, Mary was so easygoing, responsive, and passionate about her craft. She truly cared about making sure I loved my look and felt my best. What made me appreciate her even more was how she went above and beyond on the wedding day—she stayed with me during and after my first look, touched up my makeup after my happy tears, fluffed my hair, and helped place my veil perfectly.
I didn’t have much female support besides my MOH and a few bridesmaids, so it meant the world that Mary stepped in like another best friend—supporting me, hyping me up, and even helping me into my dress and getting the zipper up. I had a pleasure of working with Mary and her team for my wedding day this pass Sunday 6/29. They did an amazing job with my girls making them pretty and ready for my wedding and for myself, Mary made sure to make me a pretty bride.
My hair and make up turned out exactly the way I wanted - being elegant and beautiful and perfectly suited with my dress. My look lasted the whole day/night. She also came back to make sure my veil be pinned down before the ceremony.
They made our bridal party at ease and easy to interact with.

Mary and her assistant Celina did hair and makeup for my mother, sisters, nieces and I on my wedding day. It was absolutely worth every penny. Kelly did my makeup for my wedding. This was my first time ever having my makeup professionally done. Kelly was so sweet and helpful while we talked about what colors and products would be best. I highly recommend doing a trial if it’s your first time too! In the end, Kelly did makeup for 1 bride, 2 moms, and 2 sisters for the wedding, and everyone was very happy. Mary, the business owner is nice and responsive and great to work with as well. If I need professional makeup again, I will definitely be reaching out.

Mary was AMAZING!! We did a trial run prior to the wedding day and she allowed my vision come to life! I felt like a queen all day because of her! Mary gives you EXACTLY what you want and ask for! She gives you to go touch up kits on the day of the trial and a generous amount of other items you don’t even think about that you may need on the day of your wedding! She follows exactly what you want and is very detailed in her work! I was trying to find someone for so long to do my hair and makeup just wanted to be natural and very subtle so I still felt beautiful but still myself and she did that for me! I was truly impressed by how professional she is and she even kept me calm on the day of when there were little wedding hiccups here and there! I even changed my mind last minute to add a braid of some sort to the hair style I wanted and I ended up not liking how it looked on me and Mary was super patient and kind about the entire process and proceeded to continue making my vision come to life! HIGHLY recommend Mary for any event! I chose the airbrush version for my makeup and it came out sooooo flawless because of her! She knows what she is doing and very experienced! Mary and Joann did an amazing job with the makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, my mother and mother in law, and my own bridal makeup! They came to the hotel and set up all of the equipment including chairs, lights, the makeup, and music. I happen to be someone who doesn't wear makeup much and I like the more natural look. I also happened to have a very bad skin condition weeks before my special day. So I was very scared that makeup wouldn't work well with my skin.
But this team helped me so much with tips and advice for skincare and prep, and I felt so pretty on my wedding day. My husband couldn't stop staring and his eyes were sparkling the whole time!

We specifically sought out someone who was familiar with working on Asian features, since our bridal party had mixed Asian looks and varying comfort with makeup. She did great checking in and making sure everyone was happy with their looks.
Our makeup lasted all day and through all the rain, wind and elements of our wedding day.

I was flying in for my wedding so I wasn't able to have a trial, which is a little nerve-wracking, but Mary was highly recommended by my photographer and I went for it! Mary is the best!
Mary made my experience amazing. She was very quick to respond, took the time to answer all of my questions and shared tips to prepare my skin for my wedding day. And most importantly made me look beautiful for one of the most important days of my life. My hair and makeup were flawless. I couldn’t have picked a better hair/makeup stylist. She also brought a team of makeup artists and stylists who took care of my bridesmaids, flower girls and mother.

Best HMUA you'll ever meet
Mary was so responsive via email and text. She answered all of my questions and was very good at documenting everything we discussed on the contract. She treated the preview like the real day and gave my skin amd hair the extra attention it needed even though it was only a preview session. This made me so confident in how she would treat me on the day of the actual wedding. For my hair and makeup - she made me feel like i was the most beautiful bride she's worked on through her attention to detail and based on how she listened to what I wanted. Mary also has great taste in music and was playing the best getting ready playlist while doing my hair and makeup!

I’ve worked with Mary as a client and fellow vendor. She does an amazing job working on different styles clients throw at her. She can also face paint kids like no other but she’s way too good to just be doing bday parties. Mary and Kelly did hair and makeup for me and my two daughters for my son's wedding. We had an early start (530am) to be ready for a morning tea ceremony. My worry that hair and makeup would need to last through an evening ceremony too were not necessary - and we were grateful that we looked good for over 12 hours! Both ladies professional and friendly. Would recommend.

Best morning ever
Mary was so communicative and helpful through the whole process. She went to work right away. We listened to music and talked the whole time. Myself and my whole bridal party looked like celebrities. Mary did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was AMAZING. For the hairstyle - I simply showed her an inspo pic of what o was going for it and she matched it perfectly. I loved it! I booked Mary because I wanted someone I felt comfortable with working on all different hair types and makeup types (ie, Asian eye makeup takes a different technique sometimes!)
Mary and Kelly were able to get my bridal party glammed up on time and they’re very chill and easy to work with- just what I needed. I was worried my makeup would look too overdone in person since I don’t wear a full face (ever!) but I also know you need more to show up on camera. Mary was able to strike a balance between the two and cover my blemishes without looking too cakey. (Airbrush option helps).
Mary was very flexible and responsive both before and during the wedding day. I’m thankful to have booked her and would recommend Beauty Lab Studios!

Mary did an amazing job with my hair and make up, was friendly and personable, and very professional. I had bought jeweled hair vines from Amazon and showed her a reference photo of a loose braid. She said that she could amp up the look even more and I was blown away with the final result. It looked absolutely amazing.
She did an amazing job with my make up as well, and picked colors that really complimented my hair and skin tone. She made me look like a Korean pop star/ Disney princess! Everyone kept complimenting my hair and make up throughout the night.

Mary was awesome!! Unfortunately, my makeup artist double booked me and didn't tell me until 2 weeks before my wedding so I was scrambling to find someone FAST. I found Mary and she was available so I booked her for a trial and eventually my wedding. She showed up, was professional and very gentle with my face. I have sensitive skin/allergic reactions to some products and she was very careful. I opted for the airbrush add on which I highly recommend for a flawless skin look! She is personable and most importantly knows what she is doing. Mary will listen to what you want and work her magic. Everyone complimented me on my glam and the pictures are going to look amazing. Mary was very accommodating for my trial and wedding makeup, especially given that I booked less than a month out of the wedding date. I wanted natural makeup that didn't hide my face, but made my features pop, and she did exactly that. The makeup held through the entire night and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The day of, one of my bridesmaids wanted her hair done as well and she was able to accommodate the last minute addition. I highly recommend booking with Mary!

A True Dream Maker
Mary was amazing! On my pretrial wedding session she paid very close attention to my needs and what was important to me on my big day. This made me relaxed about one less thing I needed to stress over. When my wedding day arrived Mary was early to arrive, came prepared with anything you could possibly want, transformed me into a gorgeous bride AND prepared a touch up kit that lasted well through the night. Mary and her team went above and beyond for my wedding day. Mary was super responsive during our early communication and her pricing was actually very reasonable and within my budget. Trial went great and my day of H&MU looked exactly as we planned. Mary and her team came right on time on the day of and she even brought donuts and Sparkling apple cider since we don't drink champagne. I had a last minute addition to the party and her team accommodated! The bridal party looked stunning and all of my girls wanted to keep their make-up on, it was that good. From the moment I contacted Mary, she was so sweet and responsive. The best part is nothing changed after I booked her. She continued to be responsive and professional throughout the entire process. My wife looks beautiful
My wife hired then for our wedding and i cant thank the beauty lab team enough of taking care of all the important women in my life. My wife, mother, and sister look so beautiful. I was a bit worried about my wife’s makeup, because she didn’t have a trial and she keeps telling me to just trust them. Plus she was trying to save money LoL. I would have paid like how I paid for our wedding according to our culture’s tradition, but my wife is frugal and keeps saying to trust the process that she is just balancing the necessity and everything. I trusted her.
My wife wears makeup, and sometimes a lot and sometimes she just bums it. I love her either way. I prefer less. When we did our first look....I was like wow....I’m marrying her....Don't get me wrong, but the makeup artist made her look like her still. I have seen some brides look way too over the top and can’t recognized the person anymore. She should be the one typing this review, since groom’s writing reviews are rare LoL. I just want to say thank you so much.

After crying during the ceremony and toasts, and after all the dancing, my makeup stayed flawless and did not need much of a touch up. Mary did makeup and hair for a few of my bridesmaids as well, and they said they have never felt so confident and beautiful. Mary did my hair and make-up for my wedding as well as hair and/or make-up for two of the women in my bridal party. We all looked incredible and we were all very pleased with Mary's work! Mary was professional, friendly, on-time and just incredible. She listened to my suggestions and was happy to change or modify something if I didn't like it. AMAZING! I met her at my friend's photoshoot and i had to get her contact information for my wedding. Our wedding was on 1/2/16. I had 8 girls in my wedding party and she did all of their make up super quick and fabulous. Since all my girls had a variety of different styles, Mary was able to work from glitters and bedazzled to natural beauty make up. For an example, some of my bridal party that does not wear make up very much, she was able to do some light smokey eyes. It was definitely the look that some of the girls wanted to go for. They wanted something different but not too dramatically different. My bridal party looked amazing and i cant thank Mary enough. She was very professional and is just an overall honest person. Throughout the night, my bridal party got several compliments. I will definitely be contacting her soon for my next event. I strongly recommend her to your next photo shoot, prom, and wedding. Also, her pricing is definitely affordable!

Mary was very professional & very talented. She made me look so beautiful & I felt so confident. Mary and her assistant were amazing on my wedding day. Arrived on time, brought champagne and fruits, and bride's/bridesmaids' hair and makeup was on point! It was easy to get a hold of her when I needed to add additional people for services, and she would reach out in general to remind me to relax and just enjoy the day. Thanks again, Mary! I found Mary on Yelp, and I was very fortunate to get an appointment, last minute. Mary responded to me quickly and answered all my questions. She has great pictures on her Instagram and Yelp accounts.
I decided to drive to her studio and meet her there. It's in a plaza so I found parking easily. Mary greeted me at the door with a warm friendly smile and we got straight to work. Her station was very clean and organized, I loved that she had Forever HD set out because I didn't tell her but I was hoping she had it available. I specifically wanted to look all natural with just a pop of color on my eyes. It was for my baby shower and I don't know how to wear makeup yet alone find any color to match me. But I heard great things about Forever and she matched me perfectly. She explained what she was doing and applying, I felt at ease and relaxed. Her hands are quick and light, she never pulled my skin, and asked how I was doing throughout.
I initially didn't want false lashes because I knew nothing about them except the ones I thought were "too much," for my liking, but she asked if I'd like to try them on, a fresh new pair, cut and adjusted for me, and I was impressed how natural they looked, so I went with them. In the end, I felt she really enhanced my look and my face felt light.
I left feeling confident and showed up at my shower feeling great. I had so many compliments about how my makeup looked and how natural yet done up I was. I have found my new make up artist! Thank you, Mary!

Mary did a great job. I went to her for my girlfriends makeup because she was going to be a bridesmaid. Mary listened to what my girlfriend wanted as well and made recommendations as to what worked best with certain styles. She did an amazing job and we’ll be calling her again for any other events in our near future.

I hired Mary for my second make up trial for my wedding day and she did not disappoint! Her work is not only professional but stunning as well. She really know her stuff! Mary has been my MUA for 6 years now before she opened up her Beauty Lab Studios in L.A. It is nice to know we live in the same town when we are both off from our professional life. She tells you what face structure you have, what makeup looks will look breath-taking for pictorials and for ourselves. 5 stars for Mary Giron for an excellent job! She did my hair and air brush make-up on my wedding last June 2017 and I was so happy with the outcome. For once I feel like a star! My hair and make-up was beautiful, just the way I wanted it and she was able to hide the acne breakouts I had that time due to stress. I highly recommend Mary! Mary is the best! She was able to accommodate a shift in my original appointment and finished my hair and makeup just in time for me to be on time to my graduation and helped me get ready too. I felt completely safe having her at my place and she was really fun to get ready with. I don't know much about makeup and hair so I trusted her to do what would work for the occassion and, that was the best decision! My friends who recently got married complimented my makeup and were surprised with how long it lasted (this compliment was 14 hours after Mary did my makeup without any touch ups) despite being out in the hot sun and thought I got a great deal. I felt beautiful on my special day and I'm so thankful!

I'm very happy with my hair and makeup by Mary Giron! She is such a creative and talented makeup artist. From the moment I scheduled my appointment with her she kept in contact with me. The day of our session she was prompt and on time. My make up and hair lasted thru out the whole entire event without any touch ups. I received tons of compliments from the guest which made me feel beautiful! Thru my makeup session she made sure I was happy and pleased with the coverage, colors, contrast and boldness. I’ve used them for my maternity photos, bridal shower, and wedding. Mary and her team are so friendly and the funniest people to help you out during a super stressful day.
