Great Team to Work With!

Crystal, Angela, and their team were amazing to work with! Me and my bridal party had a lot of requests for our hair and makeup, and they were super accommodating and did all they could to meet our needs and wants. They were so kind about it all too! They were truly efficient as well and so encouraging about any insecurities I felt. It was a nerve wracking wedding morning and I really appreciated how professional, efficient, and sweet they were. I knew from the moment I did my bridal trial with Crystal that I could trust them to take care of me on my wedding day. I felt beautiful and got many compliments on my wedding day! I highly recommend you book them to do your hair and makeup for any event!

Angela is an artist!

Angela was phenomenal to work with and she was so caring and responsive from day 1. I was so comfortable with Angela during the trial that I didn't feel intimidated at all! She focused on what I wanted (natural makeup that would accentuate my eyes and a side bun). I really felt listened to and I also left a lot to her expertise, especially since I have oily skin. Based on my feedback from the trial, I went back for my engagement shoot and we agreed on an airbrush foundation and she adjusted the false eyelashes so that my tear ducts wouldn't wet the glue. I wore the makeup all day and at the beach, and my face still felt refreshed! Needless to say everything was perfect on the wedding day. Angela and her team were wonderful to work with, and Angela was the calming presence I needed! I also borrowed from her the most gorgeous hairpiece that was the perfect, final touch for my hair. I can't tell you how many compliments I received on the hairpiece alone! I truly felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and the best part was that I didn't have to worry about my makeup running or my hair becoming undone! I 100% recommend Beauty in Motion.

Personable AND Professional!

I had the pleasure of having Angela to do my engagement photo make up and hair. While make up was on point, the now-husband even commented on how beautiful my hairstyle was on that day. I booked with her again for my wedding day make up and hair as well as Crystal to do my bridesmaids'. One thing that sets BIM apart is their focus on enhancing your features rather than changing you into someone you are not. My bridesmaids and I appreciated Angela and Crystal for listening to our inputs and being flexible with our requests. They are not only professional in the way they take their time to perfect every detail, they also have a way to make you feel very comfortable as if you are their old friends. I appreciate working with these vendors who are truly passionate about their work!

Angel is the BEST!

Angel was my HMUA for my wedding 8/24/19 and she was AMAZING! At first I had booked Angela last year, but she let me know she wasn't able to be my HMUA a few months prior to my wedding due to health reasons. I was initially bummed since I had my trial in March 2019 and I am not from socal, so I had to do my trial again with Angel the day before my wedding. It worked out though, since we had a tea ceremony the day before, so I was able to get a feel for what worked and what didn't by the next day. She tweaked certain things from the photos she had taken the day before and we both agreed. She did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup; I was sweating at a photoshoot since it was 90F+ outside and same with the ceremony, but I didn't have to touch up AT ALL! I didn't even think that was possible. My MIL also had her hair and makeup done by Angel and she was very impressed. I would highly recommend Angel!! I love their style at BIMS and Angel said Angela tends to be more natural, Crystal more glam, and she's somewhere in the middle.

Best Natural Hair and Makeup Artist

Crystal is AH-MAY-ZING. I first went to her for my engagement session. In our first meeting, she asked me what look I was going for. I told her that I wanted a very natural look, someone that my then-fiancé can still recognize. I've heard too many horror stories of guys marrying someone that totally looks different. Crystal did such a great job that I knew I had to book her for my big day as well. I highly recommend a hair trial because we had to try different styles to fit my petite face (don't always trust Pinterest).

On the day of my wedding, her team was able to quickly set up in our hotel room. They all did such a great job with my bridesmaids, groomswoman, and I, everyone looked so beautiful! One of my bridesmaids told me that out of the four times she's been a bride, her hair and makeup turned out the best with BIMS.

Overall, this company is very professional. I researched many makeup artists in the SGV area and BIMS prices were the most reasonable, especially since you get to work with the owners and not just a senior or lead artist. One major plus is that Crystal gave me advice on skincare and makeup. I am still using the products that she recommended. I must say that my wedding photographer, Donna Lam's photography style matches BIMS style very well. I recommend booking both together. I would definitely come back to Crystal if I want to take any more professional photos in the future.

So blessed to have BIM!!

Beauty in Motion provided excellent customer service since day one when I contacted them all the way until my BIG day. Angela was my MUA and she's soooo caring, professional and super easy to work with. I had total of 4 different dresses (including my wedding gown) on my wedding and she did a perfect job for each of my look, matching with all my dresses. I was so blessed to have her and her team on my big day. I got a loooott of compliments not just for my makeup and hairstyles, but also for my mom's, mother-in-law's and all my bridesmaids'. Especially, my mother-in-law was so happy because she said Angela made her look so young!! *hint hint for all the future brides to please your mother in law on your big day!! Lol highly recommend Angela and her team!!

Wedding Makeup

BIM was referred to me by a friend to do my wedding make up. At the time I was doing research on different makeup artists but luckily I have met Angela a few times in my life. I’ve seen her work on my friends on their wedding days and the quality work shows through. Each bride have always looked natural, not over done and the make up lasts through out the day. I did the trial and wasn’t disappointed, a lot of care was taken to understand what I wanted and what their professional recommendations are. I’m don’t wear a lot of makeup so I didn’t have too much input but Angela took the lead which was what I wanted.

On my wedding, Angela and her team came on time and finished my bridesmaids and I according to schedule. I loved my makeup even more, highly recommend getting airbrushed, the makeup looked flawless. The makeup and hair lasted through out the night. Thanks BIM, it was a pleasure working with you.

Angela & Crystal are an amazing sister team tackling all of my beauty needs.

Crystal did my microblading and made it a comfortable, painless procedure. She was very attentive and took the time to make sure my eyebrows were even and was a good fit for me. I got so many compliments afterwards on my eyebrows. It was my first time doing microblading and I did the ombre powder look and loved it!

Angela did my bridal and bridal party make up for my wedding day. She also did it for my mom. Given our different face shapes and skin types, Angela was able to find a look for each individual person that looked great for them. She also did our hair and made it look very glamorous and gorgeous. If you have any photos to create a certain look, Angela will be able to replicate it very accurately!

Everyone was happy and radiating with their hair and make up. I got positive feedback on my make up and my hair. Angela even loaned a beautiful golden hair piece that I placed a deposit for. When returning it, I got my deposit it and it just added an extra layer of glamorous to my special day.

Both ladies provide great customer service and made it so easy to communicate via texting with! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my beauty needs and highly recommend them for hair, make up, and microblading!

This review is a slightly overdue but I felt it was important to provide it nonetheless. I used Beauty in Motion for my May 2016 wedding. Angela and Crystal provided hair and makeup services for a total of 10 of my gals including bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids, moms and myself (the bride). Prior to my wedding day I had a trial session that went very well. I am glad I did one and would highly recommend future brides to have one as well. It makes the day of run a bit smoother since everything has been pre worked out. On wedding day, the team came to my home where they arrived on time and ready to work. In my opinion, their work is effortless and classic. Crystal and Angela were great to work with from start to finish. Work with them - you will be very pleased!

Angela took care of me for both of my engagement session and on my wedding and I couldn't be happier than that! She was always on time and make up always finished as expected so we were never in a rush. Make up trial is highly recommended because you cannot expect the make up artist would know exactly what you want without trying it on, especially if you are picky! I am pretty picky about my eyes' make up (For example, I like my eyes to look longer instead of rounder) and Angela got a much better understanding on how I wanted to do it after the trial - and everything turned out to be amazing on my wedding! Love her :)

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE CRYSTAL!!! My wedding was this past weekend and Crystal and her team did such an amazing job!!! Crystal did my makeup and hair and her team (two wonderful ladies) did my bridesmaids.

Bridal Trial:
I was really amazed at the attentive-ness that Crystal showed, and it was only the bridal trial! Compared to the trial and the actual wedding day, the amount of time Crystal spent on me was the same! During the trial she made absolutely sure it was perfect and that I liked it. I had two hair styles, up-do and down-do. She knew I was mainly concerned with my eyes (i have small tiny asian eyes) and she spent alot of time on my eyes to make sure it popped! Overall the trial was a huge success.

Wedding day:
They drove to the location where I was getting ready at. The first 35 miles is free, but I think mine overall was a little over but Crystal didnt even try to nickle and dime me :) her team was on time and ready to go immediately. I kept asking Crystal if she wanted any food or drink, but she only just wanted to focus on me! Yes it did take all morning from 8:30AM-12:00PM but it was so fun chatting here and there with Crystal and her team that I did not even notice what time it was. All of a sudden I was done! I had so much compliments and my friends and family could not believe that was me! I really recommend the air brush, I also tried it during the trial as well. It is a bit extra but it is sooo worth it. I am the type of person that gets sweaty really easily. The airbrush held up so well through my sweat, just make sure you dab and not wipe! Not to mention Crystal gave me a little kit at the end to help with touch ups in between. A blotting sheet to help with my sweating, lip gloss, and extra bobby pins and a lip brush.

Overall, BIMS is soooo awesome! I really recommend them! Not to mention my maid of honor was sooo impressed with them she has also booked them for engagement session, bridal trial, bridal hair and bridesmaids hair.

BIM was the first vendor I met and I immediately decided to use BIM after talking to Angela during our consultation. Angela is really really sweet. She gave really good suggestions and ideas when I showed her the the make up and hair style I'm looking for.

I got married on 10/10/15 and it was extremely hot that day. My makeup kept on without ANY problems through the day and I was very impressed and happy. I got a lot of compliments on my makeup that day.

Also I got a huge pimple a few days before the wedding (I also broke out a week before my engagement photo shot, too. Yeah..go figure...)and I was really upset and worried. After Angela did the makeup, I can hardly see the pimple. It was covered up very naturally without looking heavy or caky.

I would highly recommend Angela and her team for any bride-to-be out there and you will not be disappointed.

Loved loved loved working with Beauty In Motion! They were always quick to reply to my emails and their rates were exactly what I was looking for. I hired them as the beauty team for my bridesmaids, flower girl and moms and I couldn't have been happier with how everything worked out. My wedding was August 15, 2015 and Crystal and Angela came to my house to get everyone ready for my wedding.
Crystal did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. My wedding day was super hot and of course i cried. My hair and make up were flawless. I was pleased with their services. Angela was amazing from Beauty in Motion. She was always very quick to respond to my emails with exactly the information I needed.

I hired Angela to do my hair and makeup for the wedding day, and she also did my makeup for my engagement photos. Through the whole process she was very attentive and friendly.

There is nothing to do but rave and praise Beauty in Motion and their team. I went in and had my hair and makeup done for my engagement photos (booked them solely on their reviews) and by the end of the appointment had secured them for my wedding 5 months away. They are amazing at what they do. They make you look like yourself, but 100 times better. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup on the day, and I could not have been happier myself. I felt beautiful and confident, which is all you can ask for. Plus, my hair and makeup lasted the entire day up until our wedding ended at 1 am.

If I have any special event in the future, I may just have to use it as an excuse to return to them and feel wonderful again!

Worked with Angela and her team for day of wedding makeup, comprise of my make up and hair, my bridesmaid's make up & hair and my sister in law hair. The make up and hair was very fitting. Everyone loved it, it was young and fresh, the makeup was not dull had the dewy look. i love here. Crystal is really great. Every guest of my wedding said my makeup is perfect. And my maid of honor want her as well.
I took 3 facial spa before my wedding day, and it prepared my skin ready for the big day. The facial was great as well. The collagen is very impressive. I was surprised by how soft my skin was. Really love it. Best facial and make up I have ever had.

Crystal, Angela, and their team are wonderful! Since I first reached out to them, they were nothing but patient and sweet! As a business, they've got it down - they're quick to respond emails, they listen to what the customer wants, and they provide a good value for their services (veil and jewelry rentals were complimentary). They're prompt and very aware of time, so as long as you let them know of your schedule, you won't have to worry about hair & makeup running you late!

Crystal was my makeup and hair artist for my engagement shoot, my wedding trial, and my wedding. She did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted and offered great input when I asked. Obviously every bride wants to look and feel beautiful on the day of her wedding, but I also believe that this isn't a day where makeup is meant to be caked on but rather to amplify the beautiful features she already has. Crystal and her team did a wonderful job of this! All of my bridesmaids as well as my mother and MIL were very pleased with how everything turned out! They are such a pleasure to work with!

I was looking for a make-up artist in my area for my wedding and happened across Beauty In Motion when searching on Yelp. When I contacted them through email, Angela answered my right away and suggested that we meet in person at her studio to discuss things. She was very responsive to my emails, which I found to be very helpful and set her apart from the other make-up studios in the area. The studio is very cute and meeting with her put me at ease...I had found my make-up and hair artist! During the trial, Angela worked with me and asked me exactly what type of look I was going for. I showed her different pictures of hair and make-up I had pinned on Pinterest, and she went to work! She even fixed my hair in a different way after we had picked my wedding day hair so that I could have a different hairstyle for my engagement photos which I did later in the day. I was going for a more natural look (and I am also not used to wearing so much makeup), so when I told her that I felt a little self conscious with my eye make-up, she lightened it for me on my wedding day and it felt perfect! I did not feel over done and I still felt like I looked like me, but prettier! Many guests complimented me on my make-up and even my husband (who HATES when I wear make-up) told me that I looked beautiful. Angela did a great job and I am so happy I used her as my make-up artist.

Crystal and her team did an AMAZING job on my and my wedding party's hair and makeup. From the initial consultation with Crystal and Angela, to my engagement shoot, to my hair/makeup trial, and lastly my wedding day, Crystal was fantastic. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell she really cares for her job and customers. I didn't have too much of a preference on how I wanted my hair/makeup completed for my engagement shoot. I had complete trust in Crystal and she did a fabulous job on my engagement shoot look. During my hair/makeup trial, I showed her a couple of looks that I liked and she did her magic and was able to come up with a fabulous look. On my wedding day, her and her team arrived on time at our bridal suite and was able to complete my, my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law's makeup/hair - (7 people total) - in a span of 4 hours! I couldn't have asked for better service! My bridesmaids looked wonderful (each having their own personally chosen looks) and I got a lot of compliments on my hair and makeup. Crystal also came during my reception to change up my make up for my second dress. I, unfortunately, was running about an hour late due to photographs with my guest tables, and left poor Crystal waiting for me for about an hour. But when I went back to finally change into my second dress, Crystal was so sweet and patient with me. She was very professional throughout the few months I have met with her. You can always email her and she responds really quickly. She is very easy to talk to and I felt completely trusting in her knowledge and skills. I couldn't have asked for a better hair & makeup artist!!!

My experience with Angela has been very positive. Angela, the makeup artist, was very responsive to my emails as well as my questions. She was also very flexible: I had changes to my venue as well as my dress. These changes affected the way I would wear my hair and makeup. Angela was able to accommodate for these changes with no problem.

On the day of the wedding, I received lots of compliments on my hairdo from guests as well as took many photos with the photographer on the hair. I am so pleased with Angela's professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work, that I will continue to use Beauty in Motion to do my hair, makeup and facials for future events.

I would definitely recommend using Beauty in Motion for your wedding.

Crystal and her team were absolutely wonderful!!! It started out with my trial session, she was patient and gave great advice we tried a few different styles and I knew I picked the right artist after my trial. Crystal and her team were originally scheduled to do hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids and myself but 3 days before the wedding I had a problem with another make-up team who were scheduled to work on my mom, sister, junior bridesmaids and mother and aunts of the groom. No problem, Crystal made it all happen, she called additional girls and we were able to add 8 more ladies to hair and makeup within 3 days notice - it was unbelievable!!! Crystal herself woke up extra early and showed up at my mom's house at 4:30AM to make it possible. Everyone was extremely happy with the results and I would highly recommend Crystal and her team to anyone looking for a great hair and makeup team!

I tried out three hair and makeup people for my wedding and Beauty in Motion was by far the best. For the hair, I wanted something classic and intricate enough that I couldn't do it on my own (otherwise why pay a professional?). I also was pretty picky about how my hair framed my face and what kind of volume I was looking for. For the makeup, I wanted my skin to look natural with more subtle eye makeup (no club eye-makeup) and a lip color to compliment my skin. All of the other professionals left me wanting more and never seemed to get the exact result I wanted. With Beauty in Motion I didn't have to change anything. They knew exactly what would work on me and came up with a gorgeous style on the first try.

They were right on time on the day of the wedding, came to the hotel where we were staying, and did hair and makeup for the bridal party (3 bridesmaids), me, and my mom. My mom even arrived one hour late and they were still able to do a great job on her hair and makeup! Hair and makeup is one of the most important things to a bride on her wedding and I am so glad I chose to go with Beauty in Motion. They did an outstanding job and my makeup and hair looked just as beautiful in the last photo as in the first (after tears, dancing, and everything else!). Thank you Beauty in Motion for giving me a perfect look on my big day!

Angela @ Beauty in Motion Studio are extremely great!!! She did my wife's make up and hair styling for the morning ceremony and dinner night reception, communications was fantastic and easy. I would recommend anyone that are in searching for a great makeup and hairstyling for there wedding.

I actually discovered Beauty in Motion thru my older sister when she chose Angela to do her hair and make up on her wedding. Everyone was blown away by the quality that my other older sister had made her decision to use Angelas services for her wedding day a year later which I personally got to experience because I was a bridesmaid and a couple months later, a maid of honor for my best friend wedding.

So my best friend had chosen another make up artist to do her hair and make up on her wedding day and I compared both my choice (beauty in motion) and my friends choice. There was no doubt in my mind that the quality and service provided by Angela were top notch.

Because my main concern was that I have sensitive skin along with eczema on my face, which will react to any chemical product. All of the products that Angela used on me were hypoallergenic and my sensitive face doesn't break out! Plus Angela doesn't overload on the make up which is a relief because I hate feeling the weight and seeing cake-like make up.

As a maid of honor I had to meet Angela at her studio and I asked for slightly dramatic eyes and showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair half up and later ended up altering the hairstyle because Angela asked me if the hairstyle was what I wanted based on the picture and she suggested pinning the hair to one side and I instantly agreed with her because it made me feel prettier!

I got a lot of surprised and good compliments on my hair and make up. Which made me feel I made the right choice. :)

I was searching for someone to do my makeup for my wedding and I was referred to BIM. I checked out their work online and was very excited to meet the team! I made an appt and met with Angela and she was very friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable, plus their studio is the cutest!! She did my makeup trial and made me feel soo pretty so I knew I would be in good hands for the BIG DAY. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup so she took that into consideration and made me look very natural yet still done-up! I fell in love with the makeup she used, it gave me the coverage I needed but it did not feel cakey at all which was perfect. Angela started my makeup at 6am and it lasted ALL day (she provided a touch-up kit which I used for my t-zone shine so that was helpful!). Her studio also has accessories that they allow you to borrow, I used a classic pearl set and loved it!! Thanks Angela - you are amazing!! =)

So here's my wedding day update...ANGELA YET AGAIN DID A WONDERFUL JOB!!! She did an awesome job on my make up which I got a lot of compliments for, especially for the lashes!!! She also did a fantastic job on my hair! My friends and family loved the hairstyle that I had. A little bit after my trial, I found another hairstyle that I really liked and text Angela the picture if she can achieve that look. She told me that she def could. So I was very excited to see how it would turn out on my wedding day. As she started doing my updo, she then gave me a few cute other options of what I wanted my hair to look like and I took her option! OMG...beautiful!!! I am so glad that she will give you her honest opinions and recommendations! I would def refer her and re-use her if I needed to for the hair and make up needs. Use BIM and you will not be disappointed.

I had my trial done in July '13 and was able to take advantage of the trial since I was a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding. I wasn't really sure how I wanted my hair for my wedding, all I told Angela was that I wanted my hairstyle to be down and to the side and she was able to make it happen! Since Angela knew that I was going to be a bridesmaid, she was nice enough to help me pin all my hair up and style it beautifully so that my friends wouldn't see how I wanted my hair done for my big day. I got so many compliments from my friends that day on how the make up and hair looked absolutely beautiful. During my trial session with Angela, she was very friendly and down to earth. She listens to all of your concerns and what you like/dislike. She will give you her opinions on what she thinks will look great on you. Absolutely great service at BIMS. One of my main concerns was make-up being caked up on my face, Angela definitely does not do that. She makes you look natural. Hair & make up lasted through the night. Highly recommend BIMS for your beauty needs.

If you're looking for a great studio to do your hair and make up, whether it is your wedding or special event, no need to look any further. Angela and her team are just the best!

I recently hired Beauty in Motion to do hair and make up for me and my female family members & friends for a belated wedding reception / 1 year anniversary party. Being the bad planner that I am, I only started looking for a stylist about two weeks before the party, so I contacted multiple places to ask for availability and quotes. Angela's reply immediately stood out - kind, interested, personable. Combined with the fact that Beauty in Motion offers fabulous prices (especially in the LA area) I didn't hesitate to go ahead and book Angela and her team. (Please don't be like me and wait until the last minute - I got lucky they were able to squeeze me in.)

Leading up to the party I emailed with Angela about ideas for my look and I visited her once in their adorable boutique to talk things through a bit. Email replies were always prompt and on point.

On the day of, Angela and another make up artist, Annie, came to our get ready address and did an absolutely wonderful job. I did not have an overall idea in mind in regards to styling, and every lady looked absolutely wonderful in their own unique way. Angela really payed attention to what every individual person liked, was wearing, and would feel comfortable with. Getting ready was so much fun!!

I was really stressed trying to find someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. I did a trial with another woman the day I was taking my engagement pictures and I just didn't feel it was the right fit and wasn't very impressed with the hair and makeup. So then began all the stress with trying to find someone else that was reasonably priced and available on the day of.

I think I found Angela and beauty in motion studio through yelp but I can't remember. Anyway, I wasn't able to do the trial until probably a few weeks before the wedding but Angela was really understanding since I live in SD. When I finally was able to go to her studio I was really impressed. It is super cute and exactly what I would want if I had my own studio. She was right on time and professional.

I wasn't sure what I wanted for my hair and makeup.. I wanted something elegant (not all up.. Not all down....) but a hairstyle that would look good with a kimono which I had to change into after the ceremony. She suggested a side ponytail/ braid and I have her creative freedom to do what she thought would look good. We didn't even have to do a second look because I LOVED my hair!! I have not seen anything like it and it was everything I wanted.

Day of: she arrived on time with her sister who was doing my sister's hair and makeup while she concentrated on me. My hair looked even better than it did during the trial. I had so many compliments on my hair. She even helped me with my veil which I didn't know how to put on.

My hair and makeup looked amazing in pictures and it was perfect for my wedding theme and dress. Her prices are also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Angela.

I am incredibly delighted with the outcome of the hair and makeup for myself and bridal party, such wonderful work from these professionals and you can't ask for a more friendly and understanding team :)

Although my dress was already purchased when I did my trial it was going to have many changes esp with the neckline, so showing them a photo was useless and I didn't end up with a definite hairstyle. By the time I sent a photo of the finished dress we were only days away from the wedding. We all agreed an updo was best but I was very hesitant the day of because we tried an updo (that I chose) at the trial and it matured me several years. I couldn't decide what to do so Crystal just took over and created a beautiful updo.

I also borrowed a veil from them. I didn't want one but my mother did. My dress shop gave me a simple veil and it was ok, but I felt with my dress style the veil should be a long one. I never mentioned this to the team, just that I maybe wanted to borrow a veil from them. Lo and behold Crystal brought only one veil and it was a gorgeously trimmed LONG veil. It was a huge hit with my mom, she loved it!

We heard all day from everyone that traffic was incredibly bad and it made the team 20 min late but they still finished 6 girls way ahead of schedule so it was very relaxed at the end with us chit chatting, doing touch-ups, and plenty of time to talk about the veil and instruct my bridesmaids how to take it out for me.

Such a fabulous team, its vendors like them that gave me the few precious good memories I have of that day. Their customer service is wonderful too, I've visited the studio about 3 separate times and each time I was offered something to drink and we'd have a good chat like we're old friends! Thanks ladies you rock!

I've been to 2 different makeup artists prior to Beauty In Motion. In my previous trial runs, I didn't feel confident with the outcome. Makeup was either too heavy or the hair style was too dramatic, I just could not get it right.

On my first visit to Beauty In Motion, I met with both Angela and Crystal. They were friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. I was initially indecisive about the look I was going for. I had told them about my experience with other makeup artists and I was really looking for someone who can understand me and truly bring out my personality.

After much needed consultation, they found the best look to go with my facial features and my wedding theme. Since I have very sensitive skin, makeup artists would have to be very careful with the products they apply onto my skin. I was impressed with how knowledgable they were with the products. Since Angela and Crystal also have sensitive skin, they've tested out every product before recommending them to their clients.

I think it's most important to feel like yourself and be comfortable with your look on your wedding day. I felt confident, natural, and I look forward to my wedding day.

If you are looking for a comfortable and fun experience with your makeup artist, these girls are it!

Angela was the very first make up artist I've ever met, and I wish every make up artist I'll meet in the future would be just like her. She is so good and knows exactly what you need. I don't use any make up in my daily life, so I'm afraid it would be a little bit weird after the work's done, and that's what my photographer told me. But during the make up, Angela was very patient and skillful, I told her in the beginning that I want a natural look and with no doubt, I got that in about one hour with all make up and hair style done. That's my first time look at myself that way, first time see myself have a so beautiful eye. Although it feels heavy to wear those eye lashes but it totally worth it. I'll definitely recommend Angela to my friends or anyone who would ask.

I'm so glad to have Angela as my make up artist on my big day last week. She is the most outstanding make up artist I've ever met. Crystal did my hair and make up. We hired Crystal and Angela for my hair, make up, flower girl hair and makeup and bridesmaid make up for two. I had full 3 hours hair and make up trial. They were on time. Crystal was extremely patient and tried her best to meet my request. I would definitely recommend them to others. I contacted many make up artists and they were the one that offer good price within my budget with good reviews. They don't do airbrush make up. But I talked to one of my friends who had an expensive air brush make up for her wedding and she told me they make up artist told her no to touch her face after the airbrush make up was on. So I am glad that I didn't do airbrush make up. I didn't try air brush make up personally, so I cannot make a concrete comment on it. And I didn't have lots of budget to do many make up trials. Anyway, I was really happy with their service and traditional make up application for my wedding.

I am very glad to find this studio from a friend of mine. The price was right and the service was wonderful. Crystal did my hair and makeup for me. She was very gentle and she took her time, I didn't feel I was beening rush out. I wanted a natural look for my wedding, and she delivered it. Crystal and Angela both were very flexible, I changed my appointment at the last minute and they still very accommandating. There were nothing to complaint about. My package included a facial, I will definitely continue having them to do my facial from now on. I trust all products they used on me, and especially I have sensitivity skin. I am highly recommended all my friends to use them.

I've the best experience ever with Beauty in Motion, especially Angela who did a wonderful job making me look beautiful on my wedding day!! I'm glad I found Beauty in Motion here in wedding wire! I couldn't be any happier with the service that me and my bridal party received! I would definitely recommend Angela, Crystal and their Team to any bride within a heart beat. You couldn't beat their wedding package price which includes hair and make-up trial + Facial + wedding day service. I did a lot of research before I booked Beauty and Motion and they have the best wedding package. It was very easy to make an appointment for the trial and facial. Angela did my hair and make-up trial and my wedding day hair and make-up. I was very happy with the way I looked on my wedding day. She did an amazing job! She is very fun and easy going, making the 3 hours hair & make-up time pass by quickly. It's just like having a nice conversation with a friend. I don't wear make-up and I love the natural look that I had on my wedding day with make-up on. Crystal and her team worked on my 5 bridesmaids, sister, flower girl, mom and mother and law. They worked their magic making my bridal party happy and beautiful. They are very professional. They came to our hotel room on time and finished on time. They are very organized. Angela sent me a wedding day make-up schedule a few days before the wedding to make sure that were on schedule.
Beauty in Motion also let's you borrow their accessories for free. You can't beat that! I borrowed veil, earrings, necklace and hair accessories. The day of the wedding they brought a few accessories for me to choose from, which is very nice.
Crystal did my facial and she was very sweet just like Angela. It was a very relaxing 1 hour facial. A pampered bride is a happy bride. I called Angela to confirm my appointment and she picked up the phone even when she was out of the country for vacation.

I did research and decided to go with Beauty In Motion studio to do my hair and make-up on my wedding day along with my mother and some of my bridal party. I met with Angela and she was very informative and welcoming. I loved her positive attitude so I knew it was a great fit. I was extremely happy with the results I got on my wedding day! Their package included the hair and make-up trial as well. Crystal worked on my hair and make-up. She was so sweet and really listened to what I wanted. They were very flexible with scheduling for the trial and very open to any changes. They just wanted me to be happy :) I even borrowed some of their jewelry to wear on my wedding day. It is part of the bridal package. You just have to leave a deposit but you get it right back when you take the jewelry back in. If you don't have a veil, they have a couple as well to let you choose from and they will also let you borrow them. They specialize in skin care and make-up as well so a facial was also included in the package! It was relaxing and great! I actually got a couple of facials done with them as we led up to the wedding to get my skin ready. I will still be going with them to get some facials because they really helped me out with my skin. They have a studio but they came out to my venue for free to do my hair and make-up because it was within the mileage covered. I cannot say anything more positive about these girls. They are sisters and they really listen to their customers. They are very sweet and really make you feel comfortable on your wedding day. I think for everything that is included, it is a great deal. From the begining Crystal was a pleasure to work with. I left the hair and makeup trial very happy and confident in Crystal's professionalism and skills. Crystal and her team did the hair and makeup for my four brides maides, my mom, flower girls, mother in-law, and me. All of us were very happy with their work and were pleased that they listen to what we each wanted. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night without any need for touch ups and I revived so many compliments all night.

Angela and her team did an amazing job for my trial, facial and wedding. She was completely supportive of my vision and let me experiment and change styles when it wasn't quite what I wanted.

My facial as so relaxing and made m skin look and feel amazing. This is one of the best aspects of the Bridal packages she offers. :)

She also gives a discount for large bridal parties. I had myself 5 bridesmaids and both of our moms. She made it affordable for me to cover the hair and make up for all of them.

The day of the day of the wedding they arrives on time and were ready to go. Angela and her team got all 8 of us ready with plenty of time to spare. Everyone complimented me and my gals about their hair and make up and whole night.

I would definitely use BIMS again in a heartbeat.

We couldn't ask for a better time with Angela over the weekend. First, we would like to thank Angela and Beauty in Motion for bringing our ideas to life and also adding their signature touches for me and also for my bridesmaid. We went through a couple of other artist before we met Angela, it was smooth sail thereafter! The staff was extremely professional! We had two different hair design and makeup planned for two different outfits. There was never a rush even though the schedule was tight throughout the day. Angela arrived on time as usual and we had plenty of time to prep. Our overall experience was above and beyond, we would recommend anyone who is in search for an artist to ask for a consultation. I really thank Beauty in Motion Studio's team of artists who did an amazing job for me as a bride and my whole wedding party with over 10 girls! It is extremely important to match the perfect bridal makeup and hair design to the bride's taste and personality. Crystal and angela are really good with achieving what the client really want. I booked them for whole day package where I actually changed 3 different styles and gowns and my design and looks all came out exactly how i wanted them to be! I received alot of compliments on my beautiful look. I also appreicate the fact that beauty in motion studio focuses on the overall result for the bride as they offer complimentary facial treatment to prep my skin, which is a plus for me because it is a great way for me to relax a bit and hydrate my skin for the big day! They are very professional and friendly, i would recommend them to everyone!

Crystal was the make-up artist on my wedding day and she did a fabulous job! Her makeup turns out incredible in front of a camera. My bride hair and makeup held up for 18 hours. Crystal’s work was completely natural, not cakey, and made me feel beautiful. Plus, her personality was really wonderful and she was fun to have around. She genuinely cares about all of her clients and goes above and beyond to ensure you feel beautiful and confident after a session in her makeup chair. Crystal is talented, creative, professional, and efficient. I felt so beautiful in person AND in pictures. Crystal makes me free I am the beautifulness bride in the whole world. Thank you Crystal!!! Angela is incredible!!! As a bridesmaid, I received so many compliments on how naturally beautiful I looked. Crystal is amazing! She did an excellent job on my wedding hair and makeup. She is very knowledgeable about skin and hair care. She took her time on both the trial session and wedding day preparation. It certainly showed because I was so happy with the results. She offered a bridal package special that included a facial a week before the wedding. I loved it! I even rented wedding accessories from her, which included a hair piece, jewelry, and veil. I received tons of compliments on my hair and makeup on the day of my wedding because of Beautyims! My wedding party also enjoyed and loved their hair and makeup as well. The owners were willing to adjust to my ever changing schedule and locations on short notice and expressed utmost professionalism. I have had the dream of my perfect wedding! I really want to thank beauty in motion studio's team of artists who have helped me and all of my bridal party to look gorgeous and flawless on my wedding day! Particularly i want to give special thanks to Crystal, who has such creativity when it comes to hair design. She is very professional and has alot of patience to work with me even during our makeup and hair trial session and i was happy with her work. but what surprised me was that i looked even better on my wedding day! I have 3 gowns on my wedding day; every styles and looks she created for me was so modern, chic and elegant, which is exactly how i wanted it. The makeup also looked wonderful and it actually lasted through out the whole day. I got so much compliments on that day that its unbelievable! Angela did the makeup and hair for all of my bridesmaids and they all loved the makeup and hair and were very happy with her work as well. I was referred to Crystal and Angela by a good friend of mine. I didn't really know these two girls too well as well, but I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised! Crystal and Angela did a fantastic job on the pre-bridal make up and hair, and the work they did for me on my wedding day was superb! They also did all the make up and hair for my girls (I had 3 bridemaids), and everyone loved the job the did! I was really impressed by the quality of their work and their professionalism. Not to mention, these two girls were really friendly and patient! I also really liked their selection of accessories that my girls and I used to match our dresses, and they didnt charge extra for that either :) Overall, I was thoroughly happy with the service they provided, and I believe they offer really good quality at a reasonable price.

Angela Wong was my make up artist and hair stylist. I love the hair style that she chosen for me, very elegant. Crystal did my hair and makeup for my sister's wedding. I didn't give her much instructions and I just let her creativeness flow. She did a fantastic job! I loved it! The makeup was natural looking and it lasted all day. My hair was done to match the look of my dress and it came out perfect. Crystal was detail oriented and took her time to make sure I looked by best that day. Everyone at the wedding complemented on my hair and makeup and wanted to know where I went to get it done.

I had my makeup and hair done in the studio with Angela for my family photo shoot last weekend.
Reasons why I am giving 5 stars:
1. Angela was patient and responded to ALL of my emails in a timely manner. We emailed back and forth for almost a month. She arrived on time on the day of our appointment and even remembers my daughter's name.
2 The price is reasonable
3. Angela is so talented with what she does. My hair is not exactly easy to do. So many hairstylist complained about my hair before. I'm very impressed with her. I have short/thick hair (not to mention lots of baby hair) and I really wanted to do a vintage/retro style. I showed her a photo but I didn't think it was possible but she really transformed me :) It came out even better than the photo I showed her. I received many compliments and so many of my friends reached out to me to ask where I got my hair done once they saw my pictures that day.
4. Makeup was flawless and she really made my eyes popped.

Wish I can go back to her again.. I just need another event :P

I am absolutely in LOOOVE with Beauty in Motion! These ladies did a wonderfullll job with hair and makeup for 4 women on my friend's wedding day. All in the short short span of 3 hours. That is nothing short of miraculous. Crystal was responsible for hair and Angela for make-up. Btw, brilliant lesson from industry-division of labor. These girls are skilled AND smart. What more can you ask for?

Angela is an absolute sweetheart. She listens to what the client wants and DE-LIV-ERS! All the ladies looked sooo chic and glamorous with almost-perfect retention of make-up even through hours of sweating in the sun while taking bridal pics, boogeying to gangster rap, and being nervous for grand entrances. I am soo impressed by the quality of the products she uses and the seemingly effortless skill with which she executes her ideas.

Crystal-bless her soul. She is soo preggers it's not even funny. With that said, this dear lady stood on her feet for 3 hours straight while helping us to realize our red carpet wannabe Lauren Conrad updos. I was blown away by the fact that she could look at a simple picture and execute almost to a T what I wanted. Morever, as I have unbelievably oily skin, I had asked if there was something we could do to make sure my bangs didn't become oily too. She skillfully brushed them out of my face while still giving me the contouring of a bang. Mad skill right there.

Anyway, these two are definitely a dynamic duo. I have never received so many compliments (or facebook likes for that matter) in my entire life. They transformed me into a swan for a beautiful day, creating memories that will stay with me even when I'm gurgling baby food and relying on a walker. Thank you so much Angela and Crystal! I will definitely be coming back when it's time for my own nuptials.

Crystal did a wonderful job with my make-up! I've come to her for my make-up needs on several occasions, and she has never disappointed me! She also does a fabulous job on curling your hair - the hair made a huge difference in making our portraits look more romantic. Crystal gets a lot of extra training and tries out the latest beauty tricks on her clients, which is great for me because I look so much better as a result!

Angela Wong did a great job on my make up and hair for my pre wedding date, very very satisfied on her work. Even though my wedding still have couple months more but she really did a great job on my face and hair. She's really professional and known what kind of style you matches on your face and she will make you turned to a beautiful brides on your day. My wedding will be on September and I am waiting for her to do my make up and hair again. Truly recommended. Thanks Angela for all the good work!

My makeup artist canceled on me the week before my wedding so I was in desperate need of another one. She recommended Crystal to me who did an awesome job on mine and my two moms makeup and hair. She was very professional and worked in a timely manner unlike another artist I used in the past. She did my hair and makeup exactly the way I wanted and if I didn't like something she would change it. She also fixed my bridesmaids hair for them since the makeup artist they used did a horrible job. If I knew about Crystal before I would have just used her and her team. I will be recommending her in the future.

Happy bride

I had a bridal makeup/hair trial and wedding day makeup/hair for myself and my mom and mother-in-law. I rarely use makeup so I requested a natural style. At the trial, I loved the hair though the makeup came out stronger than I would have liked. Angela listened to my concerns and on my wedding day, she modified it to just what I had in mind! The groom and guests all commented how lovely and natural it was and it stayed on all night. I was honestly not thrilled about having it done professionally but I did it so I could get pampered with my moms and I don't regret it!

Angela provided a team of herself plus 2 assistants to do hair and makeup for 5 bridesmaids and my mom (6 total). Some of the girls provided pictures of hair, but others did not. All of the girls looked great. Their makeup was not too overdone and photographed very well. None of the girls felt that it was too heavy or sticky. They do Asian makeup and hair well. They were prompt, polite, and did not get in the way of any other vendors. Note: all day-of payments must be in cash.

Angela recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding. From the first trial, I knew that she was a pro; not only did she make me feel at ease, but she listened to my vague ideas about what look I wanted as a bride, and then created that look perfectly! On the day of, I was nervous and by myself while getting ready-- Angela helped to calm me down, because she has such a sweet and pleasant demeanor and attitude. Angela also listened to my feedback on the day of, and incorporated it into the look. Plus, she made me look gorgeous: I felt just like a princess, and my mom still refers to that look as, "the movie star." I was very pleased that I chose Beauty in Motion to complete my bridal look.

Angela did my makeup and hair for my wedding. I loved the trial that we did before the wedding. Angela was very thorough and took her time to do a good job. She paid close attention to the pictures I sent her beforehand. She was very receptive to feedback and made changes after my input. During my wedding day, Angela arrived perfectly on time. I made the mistake of asking her to come at 2:30 when I should have allotted her more time. So definitely give Angela a good time window to do her magic, she is very detailed and does a beautiful job given a fair amount of time. My makeup and hair came out beautiful! She made my wedding night ;) Thank you Angela!!

Beautiful wedding makeup for my mom and I!

Crystal did wedding makeup for my mother and I. I had airbrush done and my mom had normal foundation applied. Both looked beautiful and lasted well. People complimented my mom all night on how young and fresh she looked! I would book Beauty in Motion again in a heartbeat!
