Blush did amazing! I had four bridesmaids, two moms, and myself. Each of us looked stunning! I got compliments all night from guests and random strangers who saw us during pictures.
Every girl had different styles of hair and makeup but we somehow still looked so complimentary to each other. We weren't rushed on time and everyone liked how it turned out (even my mother who can be very picky). I was nervous about my acne and rosacea the day of but Steph made me feel so confident and beautiful. I swear you couldn't see a mark after it was all said and done and it lasted all night even through sweaty dancing lol. I couldn't be happier. Hire these amazing ladies!!Beauty and the Blush's reply:

The team did an absolutely fantastic job with the hair and makeup for the women in my wedding party, as well as my mom on the day of the wedding. We hadn't done a trial and, given that we had a mixed-race wedding party, my top priority was ensuring that we were working with a team that would do the ladies justice. Justice is an understatement, however, because the hair and make-up teams did an absolutely impeccable job. Each girl, regardless of skin tone and hair, came out looking flawlessly and said so themselves. Even my mom, who chose a make-up and hairstyle that she was a little iffy about, left the chair completely emotional because she had never imagined looking as good as she did. Thank you so much to the team (Gaby, Siomara, and Jocelyn) for turning it OUT!

Beauty and the Blush is hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the very beginning, they made the entire beauty process feel smooth, professional, and, most importantly, fun. They weren’t just a hair and makeup team; they were calm, organized, supportive, and brought the exact energy every bride hopes for on the morning of their wedding.
In the lead-up to the big day, they created a detailed schedule for everyone getting hair and makeup, which made things feel totally under control and allowed us all to just relax and enjoy. On the day of, they arrived early, fully prepped, and immediately transformed our getting-ready suite into a beautiful, efficient, and relaxed space. Their setup was flawless, and they kept everything running right on time without ever making us feel rushed.
Their talent speaks for itself! Everyone looked and felt incredible. They really listened to what each person wanted, made adjustments on the fly when anyone requested changes, and never once made us feel like we were asking too much. My makeup and hair (and everyone else’s) lasted through happy tears, hugs, dancing, and every moment in between. Just before the ceremony, they even stayed to do last-minute touch-ups for everyone, which made us feel extra polished and cared for.
Beyond their incredible skill, they were so kind, funny, and down-to-earth. They had the whole room laughing, kept the vibe relaxed, and made everyone, from moms to bridesmaids, feel totally confident and beautiful. It honestly felt like spending the morning with super-talented friends who also happened to make us look amazing.
What truly sets Beauty and the Blush apart is how deeply they care about their clients. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made a huge impact on our day, and I’m so grateful we chose them. If you're considering booking them, DO IT! I had Vanessa and Mimi as my makeup and hair team for my space-themed wedding on 8.9.25 and they were fantastic! At the trial, Vanessa was open to my idea of a darker eyeshadow and lip to reflect the purple of the wedding and when my original plan for my hair (long curls) was too heavy, they came up with the rapunzel-inspired hairstyle that was perfect! We even added small gold stars to my hair to continue the theme. It was a great experience, with plenty of communication, clear contracts and invoices, and lots of advice on how to make my hair/makeup timeline work with last-minute additions. Overall, I'd highly recommend this company for any future bride! -

Vanessa and Gaby were not only SO fun to work with, but made all of us look and feel beautiful. Vanessa and her team were recommended to me by another artist, and I am so beyond happy to have had them on my team this past Saturday. Amanda, Jamie, and Gabi are all masters of their craft - I had 11 women getting ready with me (a mix of hair, makeup, and both), and they gave each an incredible amount of time, detail, and effort. Beyond working with precision, they felt like a natural part of the getting ready process - we laughed and chatted with them all morning, keeping spirits high (but calm) in the lead up to my ceremony. My mom and I dont have a ton of hair, and Amanda gave us each so much volume that stayed all day. I couldn't help but say "wow" every time I looked at my friends, sister, mom, and myself thanks to Gabi and Jamie's makeup work! I'd recommend this team to anyone! -

Very Happy Bride!
Vanessa and her team were absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend them enough! From the start, Vanessa was easy to work with, accommodating, and a great communicator. The team was extremely attentive to my bridal party and moms, making sure they were completely satisfied with their hair and makeup. They planned extra time to make sure we could make adjustment or touch-ups before the ceremony began. It is clear Vanessa cares very much about her business, her staff, and her clients. Absolutely one of the best vendor choices I made for my wedding. Not only were they reasonably priced, but they were a blast at 7am in the morning! They were such a great group of women and made my wedding morning fun and special. I was looking for a more “glowy look” and I realized those looks don’t really last as long.. however, my makeup lasted the entire night (even with my crazy dance moves and sweaty head banging). It was the absolute perfect soft glam/glowy/bronzy look I could have ever asked for. All my bridesmaids/mothers were obsessed with their looks and everyone’s hair suited them perfectly. On top of all that, they were ahead of schedule which decreased my stress during the wedding morning. They had extra time planned for touch ups/questions/concerns/ and anything else we could have thought it. I would recommend this team in a heartbeat! -

I had a wonderful experience working with Blush and the Beauty. Vanessa was professional, accommodating, and very responsive. The client portal made it very easy to schedule the makeup and hair trial, make payments, upload hair and makeup inspo, and keep track of other important paperwork. I greatly appreciate her flexibility with changing plans and guidance about dealing with vendors.
My bridal party and I had the pleasure of working with Siomara, Estrella, Jolie, and Diana. They were efficient, dedicated, and very talented. Siomara and Estrella perfectly executed my vision for hair and makeup on the first try and were able to recreate it perfectly on the day of. The day of the wedding, Estrella and Jolie skillfully applied beautiful make-ups for a wide range of skin tones, ages, and personal tastes. Siomara was able to create gorgeous updos with shorter haircuts and a wide range of hair textures. Diana's assistance and taking behind the scene photos was so helpful. Some of my favorite get-ready photos were taken by Diana.
Most importantly, everyone was kind, understanding, and accommodating (even at 5am). Siomara, Estrella, Jolie, and Diana truly went above and beyond before and on the day of the wedding. I cannot express how appreciative myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother & mother-in-law are for their work. -

I went for my trial at the studio and loved my hair and went back for a follow-up prior to my wedding to ensure the extensions matched my hair! Communication with Vanessa, the owner, was great. The day of, Jocelyn and her partner were on time and were able to do everyone's hair exactly how they wanted it! I cannot say enough good things about Beauty and the Blush. From the first time I reached out to inquire about their services through the wedding day, they were so accommodating, patient, and professional. Vanessa was so responsive and great about ensuring we all were prepared for the wedding day. I had my trial with Jocelyn and Yesenia and they were so thoughtful and collaborative in helping me find my perfect look. They also were open to any feedback I had and, while the trial hair and makeup itself was pretty much exactly what I wanted, they were so accompanying with any change I asked for on the day of the wedding. I had a last minute addition a week or so before the wedding and Vanessa was so flexible and updated the schedule immediately. We had 13 people get their hair and makeup done and the artists were all patient with each person and helped them figure out what might look good! They were all so kind and fun while being efficient and ensuring they took time at the end for touch ups for each person. Each person wanted different looks and the artists mastered all of them! Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup and I would absolutely recommend them! -

All hail the queens! Vanessa and her team of makeup goddesses are queens and they made me feel like one on my wedding day. Or maybe goddess? QUEEN goddess!
Where to begin with the praises? First of all: VANESSA. She is a consummate businesswoman and was fantastic to work with from start to finish. At a time when I was stressed, Vanessa and her incredibly prompt, refreshingly clear emails were a balm! The makeup itself was flawless. Karla is really gifted. She also listened when I decided to go for a different look after the trial, and executed my vision perfectly. Beauty and the Blush also made my entire bridal party, mom and grandma feel beautiful ... and in a timely manner. No rushes the day of. We kept squealing when each look was complete. The team fit right in and felt like friends by the end of the morning. I honestly am sad the wedding is over in part because I will miss talking to Vanessa and Karla. I will reach out to them for my next parties for sure.
Honestly, do not worry and just book them if you are hesitating. You won't regret it — they are PROS. Reviews like this are why I booked them and I hope this review puts you at ease. I feel so good recommending this business to others. -

If you are looking for a reliable, professional and amazing wedding hair and makeup team, Beauty and the Blush should be your ONLY choice. Vanessa was an absolute angel dealing with me for months about my wedding day, even leading up to a few days before. She is kind and so understanding. I couldn't have asked for a better person to have handled some of my wedding stress when it came to this VERY important part of my day. Yesenia and Siomara were my dream team. They did my hair/makeup trial and made me feel so incredibly comfortable because I had ideas but wasn't sure about how it would look altogether. If you aren't sure if you should do a hair/makeup trial- do not hesitate and DO the trial. Yesenia and Siomara not only made my ideas come to life but they had such great advice on what to do leading up to the wedding on how to make my hair and skin look and feel its best on that day. My wedding day started out as the perfect day because of Yesenia and Siomara. I have never looked as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. They were so kind and down to earth. They made every one of us, including both my wife's mom and my mom look absolutely stunning. They were so attentive and willing to make us look and feel as beautiful as we did. Our makeup lasted all night and I cannot tell you how many compliments we received from our guests. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this team was. Ladies, thank you much from the bottom of my heart, for all that you did on my wedding day; and not just the hair and makeup but the comfortability and conversation that made my nerves instantly go away.

Talented and Fun to Work With!
I hired Beauty and the Blush for my wedding makeup and I was thrilled with the results! I had a group of 6 bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law, and myself and everyone looked outstanding! I wanted a very natural look as I don't typically wear a lot of makeup. I did a bridal trial with Gabby and she executed the exact look I was going for. The makeup for the wedding lasted through a record heat wave in mid July, 2 hours of photos outside in the sun, and 6 hours of dancing! Oh not to mention my husband rubbed cake all over my face and at the reception and with just one wipe of the napkin my makeup was back to perfect. I am beyond thrilled for the flexibility and talent Beauty and the Blush delivered. Thank you! -

I used Beauty and the Blush for my wedding on June 24, 2023 and Vanessa the owner was an absolute dream to work with! When looking for a makeup artist for the wedding I was very particular about who I chose as I wanted someone who would not only fit my vibe, but also do a good job on all the girls getting ready with me including my mother and mother-in-law. I looked for artists who did a wide variety of clients, different skin tones, both mature and young skin, and who made everyone look naturally enhanced, not like fake versions of themselves.
From the first contact I had with Vanessa I knew I chose correctly. She was wonderfully professional, easy to communicate with, listened to me, and answered all my questions! Beauty and the Blush has such an easy, user-friendly portal they use to communicate with clients, collect payments, and send questionnaires to brides to get as much information as possible before the first trial. I did not have to worry about handling any cash day off, all payments and tips were done through the portal which made the morning of the wedding stress free and easy.
Her studio in NJ is so cute and professional, and it was a great place for the makeup trial with everything you need to make you feel comfortable and confident in your artist. Vanessa paired me up with Estrella as my makeup artist and she was a DOLL! She was so sweet, totally saw my vision, tweaked what I asked her to, and made me look amazing. I left feeling so beautiful and excited for the big day. I brought my mom with me to the trial and both Vanessa and Estrella were so easy to talk to and made us feel so welcomed. You definitely want to work with people who you vibe with and their vibes were 10/10
The morning of the wedding was so wonderful. Estrella was right on time, came super prepared and everyone loved their makeup! I couldn't believe how beautiful she made everyone look and feel. I’ve had my makeup professionally done for other weddings before and it never looks as good as when you do it yourself… This experience was the exact opposite! Each girl looked amazing, like true versions of themselves only enhanced. Nothing was caked on, too harsh, wrong color match, or crazy blending. I seriously was SO happy with how everyone looked and all the girls were genuinely thrilled with their makeup! I looked exactly how I hoped I would look on my wedding day and it's all thanks to the amazing beauty and the blush girls. Estrella was truly the perfect MUA for me and my girls.
I will forever recommend Beauty and the Blush to any and all brides out their looking for a MUA for their big day. Not only are they professional, talented, and easy to work with - they are genuinely so sweet and kind and will take one big stresser off your shoulders. Thank you Vanessa and team for everything!!!

Vanessa & Cheyenne totally killed it! At both my hair trial and day of the wedding, they were so easy to work with, personable, knowledgeable, professional, organized and talented. They communicate well, quickly answering any questions over email. They are very open-minded and listen well to your needs and desires. They really listened and understood my vision, which was a natural look but elevated for my special day. I wanted to look and feel like myself with some minor glam, and not feel like someone else on my wedding day. They totally delivered and I felt amazing. Everyone truly looked incredible. But if you want a more detailed reason, here it is. To start Vanessa was so easy to work with. She responds to emails faster than any vendor I worked with for my wedding and was always polite, helpful and no nonsense (which I love!). She was so excellent with helping me put together my morning of wedding schedule, which was something I was dreading. My makeup trial with Vanessa was also excellent. She is easy to talk to and made me feel instantly comfortable. The day I did my makeup trial I was already so pleased and walked around the rest of the day feeling like a freaking super model!
Now for the actual wedding day! Wow is the only word I can say to describe Vanessa and Gaby. They made myself, my bridesmaids and my family feel so comfortable. There was so much laughter and just good times while we were getting ready, it seriously felt like we had two more friends joining in on the fun. Not only that but they made all of us feel absolutely stunning with our makeup!!! The makeup was exactly what I wanted and lasted all night through lots of tears, dancing and an outdoor wedding. I can say confidently that they gave me wedding makeup that not only exceeded expectations, but also a morning of getting ready that I will always cherish! -

I could not be happier with the service from Beauty & Blush! They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! My best friend hired them for her wedding in 2019 and I knew I wanted to hire them for mine. I went for the hair and makeup trial and both ladies were open to my feedback to ensure that everything was how I wanted it. The day of my wedding was so smooth even though we had to start early. Gaby, Tracy, and Jolie made us feel so comfortable and were so great to work with. My hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted and held up for 12+ hours. My hair looked perfect even after hours and hours of dancing and my makeup never smudged! I highly recommend working with them for both hair and makeup! It was really helpful to have a bridal trial with Vanessa the makeup artist and Lizbeth the hairstylist because it made it a lot less stressful to discover a look that worked best for me long before the wedding. Absolutely phenomenal work! I did not realize I needed to book hair and makeup up to 6 months in advance and truly got very lucky when I asked if they were available on my wedding date which was only about 3 weeks away. Vanessa really guided me through the process and fit me in for a trail run as well. I honestly came in without actually knowing what I wanted, but while working with Vanessa, Siomara for hair, and Jolie for makeup we were able to nail down the perfect look. I showed them my dress, my makeup idea (I wanted a fairy type of vibe), and informed them that the wedding would be in a garden so I wanted something to go along with all of these factors. Siomara suggested wearing my hair down and incorporated my hair piece beautifully. My hair stayed intact pretty much the entire night without any issues (close to 10 hours). Jolie's makeup skills are amazing she really gave me the look I was hoping to have. I got so many compliments on my makeup and hair. Both aspects came out beautifully and photographed so well. I am so grateful that I found this team every single one of them is amazing and I would give 100 stars if I could. -

Beauty and the Blush was absolutely amazing for my wedding!! Vanessa was professional, prompt at getting back to me, and overall great to work with. Steph did hair and Eirini did makeup, and I can only say wonderful things about the both of them!! Steph nailed exactly what I was looking for with my hair at my trial and on my wedding day. My curls stayed all day and I never had to worry about them. I was nervous about getting my makeup done at my trial because I never had before, and I don’t wear a lot of makeup normally. Eirini listened closely to what I asked and was able to make me look and feel beautiful without putting pounds and pounds of makeup on my face. She knew exactly what I wanted even though I barely knew myself! My makeup also stayed on all day, despite all the tears and sweat I went through. Both ladies were incredibly sweet and personable, which made it lovely to spend the day with them as I got ready for my wedding with my bridal party. All of the ladies looked beautiful and loved their hair and makeup! -

I had a fairly large group of ladies getting both hair and makeup services done and this team not only SLAYED all inspo looks selected by each lady, they were also very professional and prompt finishing all services with a whole hour to spare in my timeline to take pictures and have fun with my girls before heading down the aisle! I ended up making some changes to what I wanted from my initial hair and makeup trial but the girls really came through and gave me the ultimate glam look on my wedding day! I felt like such a queen and my look stood the test of time till the end of the night! That’s with us having an outdoor ceremony in the middle of June, and dancing the entire night away! Huge shoutout to Steph P and Karla for my hair and make up. For my trial, I had initially went for an updo and soft glam, but decided to change my entire look to full glam and half up half down. She was patient answering all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Exceeded all expectations!
My experience with Beauty and the Blush was flawless from beginning to end, even during a pandemic! Their prices are very reasonable, and their talent is out of this world!
The owner, Vanessa, is very responsive to all questions or concerns. She goes above and beyond to ensure her brides are happy! She went out of her way to reach out to me on the days leading up to my wedding as well as on the day of my wedding to make sure everything was absolutely perfect for me.
On the day of my trial, Nevina and Kylie were amazing and made me feel so comfortable. They made me feel and look absolutely beautiful. On the day of my wedding, 5 stylists showed up promptly and made sure all 14 girls’ hair and makeup looked stunning. Each stylist was so talented and extremely friendly. Nevina and Kylie were so patient with me when I decided last minute that I wanted to do my hair and makeup different than we did at my trial. Once again they made sure I looked amazing!
