The most perfect and amazing make-up artist/hair stylist for any Bride!!!

Update on my prior review (listed under my maiden name):

Agne is the hands down the BEST hair and makeup artist you can book for your wedding day or other special event. I am so happy and blessed that I found her. She make me feel like the most gorgeous bride on my special day. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup. I received so many sweet compliments from family and friends throughout the day and even afterwards when looking at photographs. I asked for a soft glamorous look where I would still look like myself but also like a bride and Agne exceeded my expectations once again! She listened to my feedback and ideas during our awesome trial session and made me so happy on my wedding day.

Agne is also such a sweet and caring person. She is a positive, warm, and kind person to have by your side and full of so much love for her clients. I have never had my hair and makeup done better by any other artist. Agne is incredibly talented, has an eye for beauty , is detail oriented, and will compliment your features beautifully. Her work always turns out even more amazing than any inspiration photograph you show her. She has done my hair and makeup now for my engagement photos, bridal shower, and wedding. On wedding day, I also booked Agne for touch ups and it was so helpful to have her by my side when we went to multiple different locations for our church ceremony and romantic photos. It put me more at ease knowing that if there was anything that needed to be touched up or fixed (such as after some happy tears, a little wind, or different photos with or without the veil on) that she would be right there. That helped me truly enjoy my day more without having that added stress. My lipgloss looked fantastic in all my photos and I wasn't oily at all! I highly recommend booking her to stay for touch ups during your day if you are able to. It was the best decision I made!

I also wanted to thank Agne's beauty affair team for their incredible work glamming my lovely bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law on wedding day as well. They were all also so happy with their hair and makeup and looked beautiful!!! The team members were punctual (all arrived early), talented, and super sweet. We had the best getting ready morning. Absolutely Gorgeous hair and makeup!!!! Highly recommend!

Agne is one of the top makeup artists/hair stylists in Los Angeles and the owner of Beauty Affair. I booked her for my engagement shoot and am so happy with my decision! She made me look and feel so beautiful! She is incredibly talented and one of the sweetest people you will meet in your life. Agne truly has an eye for beauty, is detail oriented, and will make you look like the most gorgeous version of yourself! She was so easy to talk to and make me super comfortable while I was getting ready. I had such a fun time chatting and getting ready with her! She checked in with me throughout the getting ready process to see how I was liking things and we really worked as a team to give me the best look. I had sent her some inspiration photos beforehand and she truly exceeded my expectations!

I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and makeup from friends and family. The makeup was exactly what I was looking for, glamorous but still looked like myself and did not feel too heavy or cakey at all. The hair was so romantic and perfect. The waves and twists of the half-up style lasted all day! I have a bad tendency of oxidizing various foundations, particularly because I have fair and oily skin; however, the foundation she applied was perfect and matched my skin tone amazingly. I did not look orange or yellow. The makeup looked great even multiple hours after the shoot was over. I was so happy that my fiancé loved my hair and makeup too!

Beyond her top notch beauty skills, Agne is such a kind and caring human being. After my hair and makeup was done, she even helped me get into my 4 inch heels, which was quite a tricky task once I was already in my form-fitting long formal dress. She even helped me pick out the best jewelry to wear from a few pieces I had brought along. That was very sweet of her and I really appreciated that she went above and beyond.

I have booked Agne and her team for my wedding day as well and I’m so excited to work with her again! I highly recommend her!! Also, if you are looking for an incredible photographer, her husband Tomas (the Big Affair)is the best photographer!! We could not be happier with him and his stunning, timeless, and romantic photos(see my review on his page as well). They are the best team and we are super grateful to get to know and work with them both.

Agne was completely professional in every way! She was able to completely replicate the pictures we showed her! She did a perfect job! I am so happy we chose her! I will use her again in the future for my other daughters wedding. Or any other special events in the future! She is the best!

I don't have enough words to explain how talented and wonderful a person is Agnes. I had a four day long wedding and she did my looks everyday. She made me look different and beautiful in each look. I have been to weddings where the bride does not look like herself and in fact, looks cakey. I did not have that issue. Agnes made me look the best version of myself each day. All my guests were amazed by how she made me look. Thank you Agnes for everything! You made me feel beautiful about myself everyday during the most important moments of my life.

I absolutely loved working with Agne. During my trial run she was very patient and truly listened to what I was looking for. She made me feel very comfortable, both with the process and with my final look. She has a great talent for accentuating features and letting the original beauty of a face shine through. I left my trial run beaming and feeling quite gorgeous! She was also incredibly organized in creating a schedule for me, my mother and brides maids. The schedule allowed for some flexibility, but yet kept us on track. On my wedding day Agne arrived early and set up her station and was ready to go on time. She did an amazing job on my wedding day make-up!I It lasted all day without any need for touch ups! She also did a truly wonderful job on my mother and brides maids. They all looked stunning! Agne is fantastic vendor to work with and I will definitely use again for any other upcoming events I may have. She is so incredibly kind, and professional. Fantastic all around .. highly recommended!

My wedding was this July and I am late to post a review. Agne did an incredible job as the makeup artist for myself and my bridal party. We immediately clicked during my trial with my mom a month or so before the wedding. She has a very sweet and soft way about her. She is kind, supportive and responsive, exactly what you want in a make-up artist the day of your wedding. We had some people that are picky in the bridal party and she was incredibly accommodating resulting in everyone looking and feeling their best. She was careful to complement our color palette and play up everyone's features. If you want a natural looking, beautiful wedding party, I absolutely recommend Agne for your special day. Agne is amazingly talented at what she does. She did the makeup for me and my ladies on my wedding day, and everyone was in love with their makeup! Agne brings out the most beautiful version of you. She listens to you and tries to create exactly the look that you feel comfortable in. My makeup was flawless all day long, and she uses really high quality products. She also has a wonderful, sweet, comforting personality which is so important. The day before the wedding, my mother in law fell and got a large bruise on her arm that she was horrified everyone would see. Agne did her magic and managed to cover it up so well that my mother in law felt great and completely reassured. Out of all the choices you will make for your wedding day, Agne will be the easiest one you will make. She is super professional, honest, and caring. I would highly recommend Agne for all of your special occasions and especially for your wedding day!

Agne of Beauty Affair is a bride's secret weapon to looking naturally beautiful on her big wedding day! With a background in painting and architecture she has a talent for identifying the best shapes and colors that suit an individual's face. With soft, fine strokes during her makeup application she is able to draw out the symmetry in your facial features as it relates to your bone structure. She is able to do this for every race and ethnicity!

The best part about Agne is that she doesn't take one approach towards applying makeup. She tailors her work to the individual's style so that a bride's true beauty can truly shine through as opposed to looking generic. Did I mention she is so nice and positive? She knows how to make someone beautiful inside and out. Agne is truly a joy to be around making your wedding process that much more special.

Agne is the angel that came to my rescue after bad experiences with previous makeup artists. I suppose I am just very particular about my face, but I would think wanting to look like the most gorgeous person in the room is not a ridiculous request on my wedding day. Maybe this mug can only be made beautiful by expert hands. Who knows? But I can say, with 100% conviction, that Agne is that expert. Not only is she a sweet and beautiful person, she is able to bring out that gorgeous girl in you. She uses only the best makeup and my skin actually felt soft and moisturized the next day. My hair and makeup lasted all night and everyone kept telling me how gorgeous I was all night long! Objective accomplished! She also had a great team that made my bridesmaids look like models. I could tell my MOH was hesitant about trusting someone else to do her makeup, but she was sooo happy with how she looked, she made the pic (a closeup selfie) her fb profile pic. Sometimes you just have to trust and I would definitely trust and recommend Agne for any event. Added bonus - I had a Gatsby wedding and her and her team pulled off the hair and makeup flawlessly! I am so happy and so were my girls! Thank you Agne!

I had the pleasure of working with Agne and her Beauty Affair team for my May 2015 wedding. Agne and her team were one of my favorite vendors to work with. What sticks out in my mind the most about working with Agne is how comfortable and calm I felt the morning of my wedding. I definitely knew I was in good hands and had nothing to worry about.
Prior to the wedding I had two makeup trials with her. The first was to meet her, go through inspiration photos, and try different looks. The second trial was to perfect all the details. Throughout the entire process Agne was always professional, friendly, honest, and listened to all of my concerns. She is truly talented and such a wonderful person to work with. It is very obvious that she cares about her clients and makes every effort to make your wedding day special. I would highly recommend her and her team.

I came across Agne's (Beauty Affair) through yelp. You could tell she an artist. It's apparent in the way she holds her brushes!

I instantly loved how meticulous she was. She makes everyone, including me, look the the best version of yourself which is exactly what your seeking on your wedding day. She worked with me to help materialize the look I envisioned.

I was struggling to find hair sylists for my bridesmaids. Agne was able to pull together a team to help make my experience less stressful and assist me in coordinating the whole schedule.

I would absolutely recommend Agne to anyone seeking a makeup artist. You won't be disappointed!

I found Beauty Affair through Yelp. When I saw her portfolio, I was instantly in awe of her work and wanted her to do my make up for my Oct. 17th wedding in Pasadena. I did the make up trial for my engagement and the wedding make up. Agne is a wonderful person and an amazing make up artist. For future reference, it is helpful to have a lot of inspiration pictures. Agne and I went through them and she really created a look that I really wanted for my wedding. My makeup lasted the whole night and all my bridesmaids were really happy with their looks too.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience working with Agne and I would recommend her to any future bride who is looking for a professional makeup artist!

Agne is Phenomenal. She is a master makeup artist and she will make you look sensational on your big day.

She is So gifted as an artist and is perfectionist, which is what you need on your Wedding Day or that special occasion. She takes her time and wants to really make sure she understand your like and dislikes and has suggestions on flattering styles if you do not know what look you are seeking. Agne was very helpful and patient. During our trial session she helped me out to decide what kind of makeup I should have on my special day, so it would look cohesive with the theme of our wedding. On the day of the wedding I got so many compliments that boosted me through the day and I just felt fabulous and confident. My mom, bridesmaids and even flower girls looked like models and everyone was very excited about it.

Agne is amazing and a true professional! She knows what works and does not work and knows how to make you look your best. For my wedding she did my makeup as well as my four bridesmaids and everyone was amazed at how good they looked. I had so many comments on my make up. She really listened to me and what I wanted and was able to make me look my absolute best. The makeup lasted all day and the pictures looked amazing. I really enjoyed meeting and working with Agne. She is very creative and a pleasure to deal with. Innovative, edgy and artistic and not afraid to suggest options that a client might not think of. She did my wedding hair, (for which I got a ton of compliments) and once I saw the quality of her work, I kept (and still do) going back to her whenever I need hair and make up done. She also gives fun and very useful up make up lessons. Overall, she does an excellent job and needless to say, I will always recommend her. Also, her husband Tomas is a great photographer and together they make a perfect team! Thank you again!!

I have worked with a ton of photographers in the past, and once I met Tomas, I no longer needed to go to anyone else :). I was very lucky I hired him as our wedding photographer and will always happily recommend him. He has an excellent eye and is truly an artist. Another thing that sets him apart is that unlike majority wedding photographers who are very cheesy, I could never say that about Tomas's work. He knows how to capture all the right moments but does so in a very classy way. I should also add that he is incredibly professional and trustworthy. His lovely wife Agne does make up and hair and together they make a perfect team!! Thank you again!!

Agne and her team did absolutely stunning hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. She kept right on schedule, stayed organized throughout my planning process, and even when I changed my mind a dozen times along the way, she was there to talk to me, consult with me in regards to the overall look.

The day of the wedding, she was right on time, and me and my girls were treated like A+ celebrities, and Agne and her team worked especially well with my lovely photographer to coordinate a special shoot I wanted to do. She helped keep me calm and I didnt doubt for even a second that I was in the right hands. I looked BEAUTIFUL... she helped me glow. Look no further! She's the best!!!

Agne is simply amazing!!! I got to know her through her talented husband Tomas ( our wedding photographer). She is a true sweetheart and she was very patient with me. On the wedding day my makeup and hair was completely flawless and I got so many compliments on my look. In addition, It was very windy day, however my makeup and updo hairstyle lasted throughout. My mom, sister and maid of honor were in love with their makeup and hairstyles too. Thanks to Agne I felt so confident on my wedding day and my bridesmaids were so gorgeous! I used Beauty Affair for my hair and makeup for my January 2015 wedding. When Agne first told me that she would make me a beautiful bride, I was skeptical because of my irregular features and skin. So even though I had seen the lovely transformation with other brides and models on the Beauty Affair website, I was just hoping to come off looking nice and not totally fail my pretty gown. I didn't want a glob of makeup on my face either, so I was genuinely amazed when after our trial session I looked into the mirror and saw a familiar but beautiful face staring back. Agne is a true professional and expert at her craft. She had the wonderful ability to sculpt my face and style my hair to accentuate the features that brought out the beauty that I never realized I possessed. She listened to me and worked with me all the way through until I was perfectly satisfied. We went through several lip colors until she found one that was perfect. She arranged every curl so that it lay in the right place on my shoulders and away from my face. On my wedding day, she came right on time, had everything organized, went right to work and made sure my tiara and veil were properly in place before she left. When she was done, I felt completely radiant and beautiful. In addition to her talented skills, Agne is such a sweetheart, she makes you feel quite at ease and comfortable throughout the whole process. She is honest, down to earth, caring, and such fun to talk to. I felt really lucky to discover Beauty Affair especially since I had two months to prepare for my wedding and I would definitely use their services again. Even today, as the photos continue to stream in, I cannot help thinking "Wow! That's just gorgeous!" And I just love my lip color! Agne did my makeup for my wedding and all I can say is, WOW. I have never felt so pretty! I'm not a very big makeup person but she managed to keep it natural looking with a little bit of drama. I loved it (and everyone's expressions when they saw the finished product!). Plus she was very nice to talk to and definitely calmed my nerves while I was getting ready. She has a background in art and that definitely shows in her work. She has an eye for detail and does a great job highlighting your natural features. Plus, she was so easy to get along with and really put me at ease. I would absolutely recommend her.

When I was looking for makeup and hair artist for my wedding day I wanted to make sure that I will look the most beautiful I ever was. I search through so many makeup artist portfolios and could not find anyone that would be a good match for my wedding makeup. So, I asked my wedding photographer Tomas from The Big Affair if he had someone to refer. Apparently his wife Agne is a very talented makeup and hair stylist who owns her own company Beauty Affair. I was blown away with her portfolio and setup a trial session right away!
On the day of the session, even before Agne started working on makeup and hair she gave me a questioner and we talked about what makeup and hair would fit me best on my wedding day based on my facial structure. Trial session went very smoothly, Agne put me in a such a comfort, that I felt like at home and truly pampered :-)
I was very excited when Agne did old hollywood, classic and glamorous look. It was the look I really wanted for my wedding and could not anticipate to surprise my fiancé !
On the day of the wedding Agne came on time together with two other talented hair and makeup artist, Anjeza and Elena. They all looked so professional, vibrant and ready to beautify us for the big day! While Agne was doing my glamorous makeup, Anjeza did an amazing hair styling for my bridesmaids and Elena worked her magic on their makeup. Honestly, I haven't seen my bridesmaids so beautiful before :-) When Agne finished with my makeup and hair, it looked flawless ! I received so many compliments from my bridesmaids, my family and the rest of the wedding party. And my husband, during the first look, could not believe that it was me and told me so many compliments that my cheeks went red. He looked so excited! In addition, after all the emotional tears my makeup was still in tact, which I think is also very important!
And this is all thanks to Agne and her amazing team, which I always going to recommend for everyone that needs a special care.

Agne made my makeup and updo on our wedding. That was absolutely beautiful! I moved from LA, but if I were still there I would love to have her doing my makeup and hairstyle for every event!

Agne made me a princess on my wedding day!!

I can't speak highly enough about the hair and makeup services from Beauty Affair. I used Agne for two engagement photo sessions for hair and make-up and for my big day she brought her amazing assistants Anjeza and Elena with her to do all 5 of my bridesmaids' hair and make up.

Agne is there to make you beautiful, the way YOU want to look beautiful. She only wants to know what YOU want. I sent tons of pictures and descriptions, which maybe other makeup artists would have gotten annoyed about, but she loved getting my inspirational looks so that she would know exactly what I would want and always encouraged me to keep the communication open.

She has a personal touch, this comes from both her passion for her work and her investment in making sure your special day or event goes exactly the way you want it to. During the photoshoots for the engagement shoot and wedding day she made sure I had food and water, and made a huge effort to make sure I was comfortable and liked the looks. I wasn't afraid to tell her what I liked and didn't like and she never took offense when I asked for something different, only happy to correct it so that I would love it.

She is well organized and efficient. She knows how long hair and makeup will take (something a nervous bride is very appreciative of). The day of the wedding she came equipped with a chart of all the looks for the bridesmaids so that there were no confusions among her crew.
Her crew is top notch. Anjeza did my and bridesmaids hair.. WOW. It looked fabulous. Elena did makeup for my bridesmaids and they loved it !!

When Agne is done you will want to jump up and hug her!! This is how I felt every time she finished and I looked in the mirror. She even sprayed her favorite sealant on and my makeup stayed on perfectly ALL day though out the wedding, even after tearing up a few times :)

I was blessed to have Agne of beauty affair take care of all of my beauty needs for my wedding which occurred on Thursday May 22 at the Jonathan beach club in Santa Monica. From the moment that we met for the trial a couple of to the prior to my big day I knew I was in expert hands.
At her home studio she played soothing music and talked with me about the kind of look I was going for and then she set about transforming me into a bride.
I am not a very make up kind of girl, I rarely do stuff to my hair and all I can say is the results were amazing. I loved the naturalness of the look and he romantic style she gave my hair.
Agne's overall vibe is so sweet and soothing that I felt comfortable and confident that she would do a good job and she did!
On the day she was calm, confident, prepared and when it was time to walk down the aisle she was right by my side checking. All the details and I felt great!
For any hair and make up needs I recommend Agne highly.

I want to say thanks to Agne who is a really talented, professional and skilled artist!!! She has done an amazing make up and hair style for me on my wedding day!!! I will highly recommend her to all my friends!!!! She will spend a lot of time just to make you happy and do what you really want!!!!! And she is very very very nice and sweet person as well!!!!!

Agne is not only so sweet but such a great makeup artist! She won me over when she did my makeup for my engagement photos, that I had to hire her for my wedding! She mad me feel so beautiful and confident:) I reccommend her highly!!!

We had the privilege of working with Agne and her husband Tomas for our wedding on October 22, 2011. They are a great team that work together very well. Agnes is the skilled make-up artist who applies her art in making the bridal party beautiful. Within moments of meeting Agne, you immediately sense her warm and friendly personality. Not only is she great to work with personality wise, but she is also extremely knowledgeable as she actually has formal training in what she does (unlike most makeup artists). I can't say enough about her professionalism. On our wedding day, she got there extremely early at 6am and was ready to work with everyone. On an important occasion like a wedding, you cannot afford to take a chance with an amateur. One of our crowning moments was when our wedding guests would comment on how beautiful the bridal party looked and how flawless their make up was. Even when people see the wedding photos, they can't help but ask about the makeup. I could not recommend her enough!!

Agne was awesome. I loved the way she did my make up at the trial, and it was even better for my wedding. She listened to what I wanted. Agne was very attentive to how I wanted to look. She also did my 11 year old daughters make up, I wanted my daughters make up to look natural and that"s exactly how she looked. I would definitely use Agne again, and recommend her to my friends. Her prices are reasonable too.

Elena did my makeup for my big day. I was instantly put at ease with her professionalism and charm. I had asked her for natural looking makeup and that's exactly what she gave me! I couldn't have been happier with her services and she is also a lovely person! I work in the beauty industry and I have to say that I am very impressed by her. Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding!

I would highly recommend Agnes. She is will to work with you and help in any way. While she did not do my main event hair, she restyled it for the part. And having her all day provided us with great detail photos and constant makeup and hair touchup.
