Highly Recommended

We would highly recommend Melissa as the officiant for your wedding. She is proffesional, organized and punctual while all maintaining a fun attitude allowing you to relax knowing you're in good hands. Melissa is very well spoken and clear with her words making her the perfect choice as officiant. We received many compliments (on Melissa's behalf) from our guests during our cocktail hour, reception and in the days to follow on how well she did and how nice of a ceremony it was. Melissa has an extensive network of wedding related services and vendors in the Cincinnati area which was comforting because she already knew many of our other vendors through past experiences or through her position on the Reading Bridal District Committee. Stress Free Wedding Day

If you want to have a completely stress free wedding day, Melissa and her team are your planners. We chose Melissa for the "day of" planning services and could not have been more pleased. Her vendor recommendations were the best and sometimes they were people we would not have been able to find on our own! It was obvious to us that she is well respected and liked in the wedding world and her professionalism makes her easy for everyone to work with. She is by nature, a kind and easygoing person, but if a situation arises, she can be tough as nails while working on the bride and groom's behalf. We are so grateful for Melissa and her team, as we really did have the perfect wedding day!

Best wedding coordinator in ohio

Hiring Melissa was the best decision of our wedding planning process. She is extremely knowledgeable of the industry and provided great vendor suggestions for us. She also has great relationships with a lot of the reputable vendors in southern Ohio, therefore really got the most out of everything. She took the stress out of the day of coordinating for my family and I. I am a bit of a control freak, and as soon as I met her I knew I could give my trust in her completely. Picture J.Lo from the movie the “wedding planner”and times that by 1,000. A few weeks before the wedding, she took over communication with the vendors which really helped me focus on other things. Every single request, big or small she made it happen with no questions asked. She also helped guide the day of ceremony and reception to find what flow was best for my husband and I. When problems would arise the day of, she had a solution in about 10-60 seconds. I am not kidding. There were probably a few other hiccups that happened, that I didn’t even know about because Melissa was on top of it. She has the talent of thinking 5 steps ahead and I really could not thank her and her team more. Melissa felt like another bridesmaid as I felt she always had my back during the wedding weekend. Everyone involved in the wedding, from the groomsmen to family members loved working with her and said how wonderful she is as well. I would recommend Melissa to anyone that is looking for coordinator or planning services. You definitely want her on your team!

Melissa was our Wedding MVP!

Our wedding day was the most serene and smooth-sailing day I’ve had in a long time, and much of that is due to hiring Melissa as our day-of coordinator. She had everything organized to a T, everyone in their places and comfortable, and she could field everyone’s questions like the true professional she is. Everyone at our wedding loved her! Not only that, we didn’t have to lift a finger to breakdown at the end of the evening— she had everything organized, packed, and in the rightful hands of its owners within minutes. She even knew exactly what to do with our extra items and our floral arrangements. She asked what we wanted to do with our tabletop arrangements, and I had no idea— but she suggested donating them to Hospice! Like an angel, she even delivered them for us the following day.

We cannot say enough about the fantastic job Melissa Jo did for our son and daughter-in-law's outdoor wedding. She understood exactly what was needed and what the bride and groom wanted. She provided a calming and reassuring presence on what could have been (given the weather forecast) a stressful day. We would highly recommend her services to anyone!

Melissa did an amazing job! The standard feedback is applicable here; she was flexible, attentive, responsive, and professional. Mainly, she adapted to fit not only our personalities, but our unconventional wedding ideas and vision. We really did not know exactly what we wanted, but Melissa provided options and asked a lot of questions so that, even if we couldn't 'see' what we wanted, she did. The day of the wedding, I did not do anything except get pampered and enjoy friends and family. If anything did not go as planned, I did not know it and Melissa took care of it without bothering anyone.

Constructively, Melissa could have been harder on me to stay on schedule, eat at dinner, and maybe not have that last drink! But, the wedding was perfect and we have only heard nice things since! No one in my family was stressed out because I was or because they had to correct a problem - so everyone had a great time!

We couldn't get into our reception venue until noon the day of and our ceremony started at 2:30pm. For a long time I contemplated asking friends and family to decorate the venue, but caved under the badgering of my sister to hire a day of coordinator. BEST DECISION I MADE!

I met with other coordinators and was told "we don't do decorations." Discouraging since that was the main reason I went seeking one. Melissa didn't shy away from the task and she delivered so much more that I didn't even realize I needed.

Her timeline was a god send. Yes, I could have done it, but the two of us knocked it out in an hour. It would have taken me 3 hours to make something not nearly as detailed. Also, she handled all communication with vendors starting two weeks before the wedding. One of my friends recently got married and was on the phone back and forth the day before her wedding with the caterer. Not me. Melissa handled all the last minute details.

She's a hard-working, professional, detail oriented person. I'm am quite type-A, so I imagined giving up control would be difficult, but not with Melissa. Based on our meetings, I knew I could trust her with the details and I got to relax. Thank you, thank you, thank you Melissa!

I had so much wedding anxiety, and was trying to plan everything myself to save money. I was hesitant about hiring a planner, but Melissa was worth every penny and came to my rescue! We had our wedding at my dad's house, which meant there were so many logistics to figure out. There was no way we could have had such an amazing event without Melissa. She knew all the right questions, was 100% on top of details, worked brilliantly with my crazy family, and took care of things so that I actually got to enjoy every minute. She listened to me and saw my vision. I don't even know all the work she did behind the scenes, but my wedding was truly the BEST DAY of my LIFE (how many people are lucky enough to say that?) and it wouldn't have been possible without Melissa.

Melissa is amazing! I didn't realize how much I actually needed her until my wedding day! I booked her for Day-of Coordinator services and she went above and beyond all my expectations. I didn't have a clear vision for the floor plan, decorations, etc; I just had "wedding stuff". She turned my very simple, low budget wedding ceremony/reception into a beautiful and elegant masterpiece! She made sure everything went according to plan and I was not bothered with anything 2 weeks prior and up through my wedding day. I know my wedding would not have been as enjoyable for me if I did not have her there by my side!
I have to give a shoutout to her sidekick/daughter... I never once had to request a beverage (or anything) because she had a fresh drink ready every time I needed one!
Best money I ever spent. Even if you think you don't need her, you do! ??

Melissa was fantastic to work with! She had great ideas that we hadn't thought of, and was always quick to respond to phone calls and emails. She went to many vendor meetings twice because we were planning a wedding here for our son who lived out of town and he was only here for one week.
She was happy to do anything for us and helped us keep everything on schedule. We were able to enjoy ourselves on the day of the wedding, because we knew she was taking care of everything. We would HIGHLY recommend her!!

Melissa made our day PERFECT! I know there were minor crises that popped up throughout the day (hey, it's a wedding!), but I still don't know what they were because Melissa was behind the scenes resolving them without adding any extra stress on us. She was there exactly when we needed her and quietly getting all the little things taken care of without asking us a ton of questions. Perhaps the biggest compliment came from our photographer, who'd never worked with her before: "Sometimes I avoid the wedding coordinator because they're so hard to work with, but she was AWESOME!"

Melissa was phenomenal and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. She went above and beyond what we expected and made us feel completely at ease and relaxed. From our first meeting with her we could tell she was extremely organized and wouldn't forget any details. Melissa was very professional and also calm and kind. She provided guidance and advice from the moment we booked her as a day-of-coordinator, and not just in the week leading up to the wedding. She thought of things we didn't even know we needed to think of. Even the bride's mom, whose friends told her "when I got married, we didn't need wedding coordinators" was completely converted by the time the wedding was over and couldn't imagine us having pulled it off without her. Just one example of how great she was: As the groom was getting ready, he realized no one knew how to fold a pocket square. Melissa showed up right around then to drop off flowers, expertly folded the pocket square, then was on to her next task. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

Melissa was very helpful in making my wedding day as stress free as possible. The ceremony was supposed to be outdoors and the rain did not allow for that to happen. Melissa contacted vendors to move our ceremony to an indoor location, moving over 100 chairs from one venue to the next, just hours before the ceremony. She went above and beyond the call of duty and was a valuable asset to my wedding day.

Melissa was an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning of my wedding and on my wedding day. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, personable wedding planner. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease during the entire process. I had a very unique situation when I decided it was time to get married. We were planning a wedding and getting married with in 30 days. This left very little time for me to actually think about how crazy I was, but Melissa was up for the challenge and guided me in the directions I needed to go to have a successful and unforgettable wedding day. She was calm, collective and organized, through the entire process, which was such a huge relief for me, because 30 days goes by quickly. On top of the 30 day deadline, we also lived approximately 3 hours from one another. I was completely blown away by her professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm to take on this additional challenge and distance did not become an issue. She was very informative, both when we met for the first time, and the day of our wedding. Any questions that I had before my wedding day were answered promptly, either by phone or email. She made herself available to me, and communicated with me in a timely manner. On our wedding day, Melissa ensured to continue to communicate every step with me. She kept things moving along during our wedding and reception to ensure the outcome was marvelous. Melissa made my entire wedding experience, from planning, to the actual day, fun and memorable.

Melissa was great to work with. I had her for the day of service and she really pulled everything off! My 5 year old nephew and my 2 year old niece were my ring bearer and flower girl and both were fussing to go down the aisle. She put quarters down the aisle for my nephew and he was super excited! Needless to say they walked down the aisle at the perfect pace with smiles on their faces :)
She also helped in getting everything together for the reception and collecting all items for me as well! I would recommend her for sure!!

Melissa dressed the chair backs for our reception, and when we walked in, I was thrilled. It was just that extra touch needed to set the tone for our reception. She tied sashes in alternating shades of light pink and fuchsia tulle. Melissa was wonderful to work with. We didn't use her planning services, as my mom does that, but I highly recommend her to anyone needing her services!
