This venue was our first choice, I've been there before, but my husband has not. The second we booked with Beardslee Castle, Lynn the star of the show! she made sure our day was nothing short of amazing. I did not need to hire a wedding coordinator. The staff, food, atmosphere, everything was just so amazing. -

Beautiful Venue
I could not be happier with Beardslee Castle! Lynn and the staff were wonderful! Lynn was communicative but never pushy, gave great advice but took all our opinions and wishes as top priority. The food was incredible and the castle and grounds are outstandingly beautiful. I cannot recommend it highly enough!! I could not imagine a better place for a wedding -

I honestly don't even know where to begin when it comes to Beardslee Castle! I can't say enough great things. My husband and I got married there in July, and the entire wedding process was so easy with the help of Lynn. She was truly my saving grace when things got stressful. She is so great at all things wedding related, and you will be in the best hands for your big day! Beyond a wedding planner, she really took the time to get to know us, and I don't know what I would have done without her. Anything I forgot, she remembered! She went above and beyond for my husband and I; we can't thank her enough. The venue itself is breathtaking, inside and out! I'm in awe every time I visit. The overall feel of the castle is just as beautiful as the physical appearance. The owner/chef worked his magic on the food (as always) and everything was even better than we had expected. He even took the time out of his busy night to personally congratulate us. We really loved that. I've always dreamed of a fairytale wedding and Beardslee Castle was the perfect place for our happily ever after. I'm honored we had the privilege of making our dreams come true there. My husband and I had the night of our lives and our guests had a great time, too! We highly recommend over and over again! -

Beardslee Castle was an amazing venue for our wedding. Absolutely beautiful and amazing food. We are still getting compliments from our guests. Lynn was amazing to work with and answered all of my constant questions. If I was to do it all again I would pick Beardslee every time! Can't wait to go back for our anniversary next year. -

Beardslee Castle Bridal Shower
I had my bridal shower at the Beardslee Castle this weekend and it exceeded all expectations! Lynn was accommodating, flexible, and very easy to work with. Planning during covid is difficult, but Lynn made sure that the event was fun, and safe for guests. A few days before the event I brought all of the decorations and did a mock set up to make sure the day would be perfect. The food was delicious and our menu was customizable! Lynn and her team helped with the set up and take down. I highly recommend the Castle for any event!!! -

I don't know where to even begin. It was PERFECT!!!! Lynn was absolutely incredible and made everything such a breeze and stress free. The setting is absolutely breath taking and the food will leave you wanting more. All the servers are extremely polite and add to the whole atmosphere. I am almost sad my day is over just so I don't get to talk and visit as much. We will DEFINITELY be back for the restaurant just to get our fix. -

Lynn was such a great help with coordinating our wedding day. She was very hands on, always reachable and accommodating to our needs. We were also able to arrive the day before the wedding decorate and leave everything prepped for the next day. The food was amazing & everyone raved about how beautiful the castle was! The look and feel of the castle was exactly what we wanted for our spooky day -

We met with Lynn for a consultation on our Fall 2020 wedding, and she was fantastic! Not only was she understanding when we had to reschedule our original meeting last minute, but when we did meet with her she was sweet and friendly and took away so much of my stress and concerns. She fully covered the castle and grounds and what we could expect day of. And when we sat to talk about the date and price and logistics, she answered all of our questions fully and gave us time to talk alone without feeling pressured. This was our first choice of venue, but we were so thrilled with her service, the venue, and the glowing recommendation of a groom's mother on site for a wedding later that day, that we decided on the spot to book our wedding! We cannot wait to continue working with Lynn and the staff at Beardslee over the next year! -

The location was stunning. I was greeted by staff while waiting for my meeting. Given a tour of the Castle and grounds. Went over what exactly I was looking for. I was given a proposal on the spot. Lynn has been wonderful about answering questions I forgot to ask. -

Ashley Sent on 06/20/2017I got married in a freaking castle. We had our Harry Potter and Magic the Gathering themed wedding here and it was pure magic. Lynn and Jennifer were patient, responsive and professional. We wanted things that were definitely out of the ordinary and they made it all happen. We brought in our own book arch, they let us have the chairs circle it, they helped us set up everywhere, let is really make the entire space our own, honestly. The food was amazing, the service spectacular and it is gorgeous. -

Emily Sent on 10/24/2016Beardslee Castle is a hidden gem!! It is a beautiful venue for all seasons, as it has both courtyard and indoor options. Lynn and Jennifer were absolutely incredible every step of the way! They were available to meet with us a few times, way before the wedding, and even a few weeks before the wedding! They helped us with a special order through their florist, and even had it ready for us at the castle when we got there close to the wedding. From the dungeon, to the Bridal Suite, to the fact that it's a CASTLE - our special day was absolutely perfect! And to top it off, the food was absolutely AMAZING! Danny and I were so excited to eat our dinner at the wedding, and it was everything that we expected and more! A very special thank you to the Chef - everyone is still raving about the food! Jennifer and Lynn were both very attentive to us and our guests, we could not have been happier!
If you are looking for a castle wedding at a reasonable price, be sure to see this venue in person!! The pictures never do it full justice!!
Thank you again Jennifer and Lynn! You both were amazing to work with, and we look forward to coming out again for a mystery dinner! -

The wedding coordinators are very quick to respond to any questions and are very helpful along the way. So excited for our wedding to be here! -

You cannot go wrong if you choose this place....and the castle looks great in photos. People will be talking about your wedding for a long time if you have it here! -
Angelina Sent on 08/09/2018This was a great place to see my son get married. They were very accommodating, made sure everything went smoothly. Did not rush us to get through the ceremony. Even when we had to wait for a grandparent. One of the best places for a wedding I have ever seen/ experienced.

Unprofessional, rude.
Brides dinner plate was dirty.
Keg beer was warm.
Bartender didn't know how to make drinks.
Staff took dinner plates away from people while eating. ( including my daughter's)
Took paid drinks at the end of the night.
There staff was rolling my stuff up in the table cloths I brought and threw it on a table in front of me.
Staff ignored questions and guests talking. To them all night.
Guests asked for more bread and wait staff rudely answered back with we have no more.
Staff commented on my Facebook post and told me I was a fat ugly bride THE NEXT day for posting a bad review.
Lynn lost our dinner options, drink package and linen colors so had to go back when it got closer to the date.
Charged us a room fee because corona virus didn't allow for my whole wedding list to be there.
Finds every loophole to charge extra.
Doesn't give a couple a chance to discuss anything privately.
AC unit upstairs leaked on my grandmother while she was eating.
Beautiful place worst place to get married at.
