Great wedding hair/makeup experience!

The stylists at Be Inspired did an amazing job on hair and makeup for 12 women the morning of my wedding. The Salon itself is beautiful and the team of stylists were all friendly, professional, and very talented. I would especially recommend Jena for bridal hair and makeup. Jena was so great to work with and helped me to create a bridal look that was perfect for me.

Fun staff, Gorgeous hair & makeup

Be Inspired salon is wonderful to work with! I've been going to them for years and have only had great experiences, and the bridal services are no different. Demi was my stylist. She was very flexible and did an amazing job! Her team also worked on the hair and makeup for my bridal party and mom. They all traveled to the venue which made the experience much more relaxing. All the girls were fun and we all had a fun time getting ready. Everyone was very happy with the finished product and we all looked gorgeous in pictures.

The team at Be Inspired Salon is FANTASTIC! Especially Jena who was my bridal guru! Jena was very considerate and kind during my trial - addressing all of my questions and concerns. She is also an extremely talented makeup artist. I came in with a very specific look and Jena nailed it! I couldn't have been happier with my makeup. Thank you to Jena for making me feel like the most beautiful bride - I'm beyond grateful!
Additionally, the bridal consultant was very professional and helpful in coordinating on-site services for my wedding day. I was so grateful that they were willing and able to travel. The bridal team was very efficient and friendly. They arrived on time and completed everyone's hair and makeup with plenty of time to give. My bridesmaids and mother raved about their services. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I had such a great experience with my wedding hair and make up here! The quality is top notch and even though it was a warm day & my ceremony was earlier than most everything still looked great by the end of the night!
The salon was very organized, which helped with planning during a time when I had many things on my mind. I highly recommend them!

Be Inspired Salon was the perfect place to get my wedding hair and make up done, along with my mothers, sisters, and bridesmaids! They are extremely professional and easy to work with on scheduling and preparing for the big day. I was able to have a trial to ensure I was happy with the look I wanted for the wedding, which was super helpful! On the wedding day they were able to accommodate my big group of 14, and we were able to bring in breakfast and drinks. I was so relaxed and knew we were all in good hands of the wonderfully talented and extremely nice stylists. Everyone's hair and makeup turned out beautiful, and I was so happy I chose Be Inspired Salon to make my day so special!

I am so lucky to have had Whitney and Jenna play such an important role on my wedding day. Our hair and make-up were absolutely perfect. Jenna and Whitney were relaxed, yet utterly professional. Be Inspired was organized, responsive, and went above-and-beyond to meet the challenging circumstances of my wedding planning (I was planning it from Tanzania!). I could not have been more pleased. I would recommend Be Inspired Salon for bridal (and everyday) services to anyone in a heartbeat.

Jenna and the team at Be Inspired Salon were terrific. Jenna was an incredible artist with both hair and make-up, she truly excels with bridal styling! The staff at Be Inspired were so accommodating to our early morning start, and were willing to work with us on timeline so that we could get everyone in and finished prior to photos. The morning of was so smooth and on schedule, which was a dream and made for such an enjoyable morning. I can't say enough about how stunning everyone looked! We are so happy we chose to go with Be Inspired for our special day. I would recommend Jenna and the bridal team to any bride who is looking for amazing service and attention to detail.

Jenna was AMAZING!!! She completely understood what I was how I wanted to look on my wedding day!! My hair and makeup were flawless and got compliments the whole night! She definitely made me feel beautiful and was apart of a day I will never forget!! I would go back to Be Inspired Salon in a heartbeat if I lived closer!

Be Inspired Salon was extremely professional and organized from the very start of our time together! They were suggested by our wedding planner and I could not be happier with our choice! They were so accommodating when I had to adjust the timing of some pre-wedding appointments (several times) and was always very accommodating. My stylist was Anna Morgan and she was THE BEST. She understood exactly what I wanted for my hair and made me look like an amazing Nordic princess! I am always very nervous to get my makeup professionally done (several bad experiences as a bridesmaid over many years) but Anna made me feel beautiful and still myself at the same time. I highly suggest their line of mineral makeup - it remained perfect all day and into the night, despite some rather misty and rainy weather. We had Anna and her team of stylists come to my parents house the morning of the wedding to beautify all the ladies and it worked out beautifully. It was a relaxing and chill start to a pretty crazy day - just what I wanted! :)

Whitney Coburn of Be Inspired Salon helped to organize my engagement photo makeup and hair appointment, as well as my wedding hair and makeup practice run, and my wedding day hair and makeup as well as my bridal party's hair and makeup on my wedding day. Whitney was wonderful at helping set up the appointments and explaining the various wedding makeup and hair packages. Jenna did my hair and makeup for both my engagement photos and wedding day photos, and she did an excellent job. Erin Conn cut my hair in between my photo sessions, and kept my curly hair looking healthy and beautiful. I highly recommend Be Inspired Salon for all of your wedding day hair and makeup needs!

Be Inspired Salon was amazing to work with. They handle bridal parties with such ease. My wedding hair looked phenomenal. Mckenzie did an outstanding job. They were able to accommodate everyone in my wedding party and had everyone's hair and makeup done on time. I would highly highly recommend them to any bride. I even bought my hairpiece from them, which was beautiful, because one of the girls makes them there. I wish Be Inspired Salon was in Minnesota so I could go there all the time. Thank you for making that part of my wedding day go smoothly and was stress free.

I received amazing service from the first time I inquired to get information on their bridal packages all the way to th wedding day. Their team came to my venue to do hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party and we all looked fabulous! Be Inspired Salon was absolutely amazing! The staff is amiable and easy to get along with while still being professional! My hair and make up, as well as all of the bridal party's, was amazing. I have never felt more beautiful. What I loved the most was that they highlighted my natural features to provide a flawless look that was still ME. Additionally, they provided advice and resources to one of my bridesmaids who did not know how to do her hair. I would absolutely recommend Be Inspired to anyone for a glamorous everyday look or for your special occasion. Worth every penny!!

The team at Be Inspired Salon is fantastic! Jena did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and the trial run. She was able to keep me calm on that crazy-stressful day and make me beautiful--talk about multi-tasking! She did a fantastic job figuring out exactly how my hair would look best, and it stayed all day and night - even with an outdoor wedding on the roof of Monona Terrace on a windy day! She creates beautiful hairpieces, and she worked with me to figure out the perfect size and bead work on mine. My makeup was natural, but she did this trick on my eyes to make them look so fantastic--looking at the pictures afterwards I know I couldn't have looked that beautiful without Jena's help.

She brought a team of two others with her as well, and they both created hair and makeup for my wedding party and mom that looked so natural and so beautiful. We had 4 bridesmaids, a jr bridesmaid and my mom get hair and makeup done, and the three stylists were able to get it done in a few hours. They came to us in the hotel where we were getting ready, so it was really very easy and fun that morning!

I couldn't be happier with the service and support Be Inspired provided us on my wedding day. They were calm, happy, professional, and SO GREAT at what they do. It was a fantastic experience.

I can't say enough good things about the Be Inspired team and Tara in particular - they were responsive, flexible, attentive, friendly and did everything we needed/asked for. My girls had so much fun getting ready and we all looked phenom. :)

Awesome to work with! Everyone arrived on time and finished on time. All my girls looked beautiful with their hair and makeup done. Travel costs was a little high. Bride appointment went well and I felt comfortable enough to email my stylist if I have any questions. I would recommend them for anyone's wedding 100 times!

I hired Be Inspired to travel to my hotel to do hair and makeup for myself, the bridesmaids and mothers. I loved that they had an option to travel to me so I didn't have to run around town the day of my wedding. The salon coordinator, Whitney, was great to work with. For a total of 8 of us doing hair, and 5 having makeup, they sent 3 stylists. They arrived on time and finished on time as well. Everyone looked beautiful! The makeup was especially gorgeous, very natural.

I loved the bridal hair and makeup trail I had prior to the wedding. Tara was super easy to work with. When she was finished she took pictures that were emailed to me so I could look back and tell her what I liked and didn't like. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day, I absolutely loved it.

Be Inspired did a fabulous job on my Wedding day. My make-up and all of the girl's hair looked amazing. I was impressed with how professional and accomadating they were. We were all able to sit in the same area and hang out while we got our hair done - no one was separated! I went with Be Inspired Salon for my wedding hair and makeup needs. Tara was my stylist and she did a phenomenal job. My hair and makeup on my wedding day were above and beyond what I could have imagined. She made sure I was completely satisfied with everything before I left for the venue and she even used her airbrush makeup on some chest acne I was freaking out about (my dress was a deep v-neck). The other stylists that worked on my mother and bridesmaids hair and makeup were also amazing. Everyone was very pleased with how they looked. We could not have asked for better service. I was very impressed with the work done by the staff of Be Inspired Salon for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day! They truly made us all look and feel so beautiful and were able to create for us hairstyles and makeup applications which were exactly what we wanted. Jena did my hair and makeup, and she was so fun to work with and put me right at ease. At my hair/makeup trial, Jena took the time to make sure the hairstyle she created was just what I wanted and even took photos of my hair at all angles and outside so I could see what the hairstyle looked like from the back. We had a last minute change of location for where we were getting ready 2 days prior to the wedding, and Whitney was incredibly accommodating and nice about it. I would HIGHLY recommend Be Inspired salon to anyone getting married!!!

Be Inspired sent a team to my hotel room the morning of my wedding where they provided hair and makeup services for me and my bridesmaids. They did a FANTASTIC job! All of the stylists were extremely professional and very personable. Tara did my bridal hair and makeup and it turned out perfect! Highly recommend Be Inspired.

I used Be Inspired Salon for my wedding day make-up, and I couldn't have been happier!
Tara was my make-up artist, and she was fabulous! She used airbrushed make-up on me, and it was great! My skin looked flawless, and it stayed on the entire day and night (at least 12 hours!).
After my trial, I decided to go with a different look, and Tara was more than willing to work with me to ensure that I had exactly what I wanted on my wedding day.
I am so glad I went with Be Inspired Salon for my wedding day make-up! It was one of the best decisions of the whole planning process!

I wanted to write a quick review PRAISING Amanda Miller for the amazing job she did at my destination wedding for myself and bridesmaids!

The destination wedding was in Riviera Maya, Mexico on January 22nd and I organized the hair and makeup to be done through my salon, Be Inspired. Amanda traveled to Mexico, with all the makeup and hair supplies and did such a great job! The process from a brides point of view was very simple, in working with the salon and with Amanda. Amanda did it all on her own, 3 heads of hair, 3 faces of makeup. It was humid and windy, but you would never have guessed it by looking at our hair or makeup!

Amanda has been doing my hair for over a couple of years now, but my bridesmaids were from out of town. They both said this was the first time they actually LOVED their makeup and hair from a wedding that they've stood up in.

I just want to say thanks to your salon and a huge thanks to Amanda for doing such great work and making us all so beautiful on the biggest day of my life!

I came across this amazing hair salon place for my wedding hair/makeup when I was searching for "curly" hair salons in the wisconsin area. I have curly hair and am very picky about how I want my hair done. When I got my trial I loved that they gave me photos to look over and see if I wanted changes done for the big day. I emailed Erin back and forth with ideas and questions and she got back to me within a day which was great. I LOVED the way she did my hair/makeup for my wedding and I would not have asked for anything else. I also love how she styled my bridesmaids hair too. Overall, a great place!

I had a great experience with Be Inspired Salon for my wedding in Madison this past Spring. I was looking for a salon that would leave me worry free and would be willing to come on-site for my wedding, which Be Inspired Salon accommodated. The bridal package was very helpful (and not bogged down with a lot of decisions for me to make). I did not have anything specific I wanted for my bridal look, and Tara helped me work with hair and make-up that was flattering and unique to me. The trial up-do and make-up session really solidified my confidence, so that on the Big Day I wasn't worried about the hair and make-up at all. The ladies came on-site and did gorgeous styles and make-up for my bridesmaids, Mom, sisters and niece. They created a fun exciting atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Be Inspired to any kind of bride!

I was very nervous about picking a salon for my hair and makeup because I have never had my hair professionally styled or professional makeup before. I have very sensitive skin that doesn't react well to makeup and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. Tara was so amazing. She used two pictures I found to put together a beautiful updo at my trial and then agreed to completely change to a half-updo with curls on the day of the wedding. She tried out all three foundation choices with me so I was happy on the day of my wedding. She even managed to dye my hair so that my fried over-colored ends and my natural roots matched in this perfect rich dark brown! I got so many complements on my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids were happy with their hair as well. I spent more on this package than I budgeted, but it was well worth every penny.

After years of entrusting Be Inspired Salon with my colors and cuts, I knew I wanted that same level of comfort on my wedding day...even though my wedding would take place across the country. Fortunately for me, salon owner, Kati, agreed to travel all the way to Martha's Vineyard to be there to style my hair and do my makeup. She also did both for my bridal party and mother. It was so nice to be able to relax the day of the wedding, knowing we would be taken care of and look beautiful!

Very happy with how I looked on my wedding day thanks to Be Inspired. I honestly have never felt prettier. Yes, they are expensive but you know that going in and their package includes a lot. (More about that later.) You have to pick and choose what you want to splurge on for your wedding and considering the bride should be the most beautiful in the room I thought hair and makeup should be one of those splurges! Although I am only 20 minutes from the salon I had Be Inspired travel to my house for my big day. I wanted to get ready from start to finish in the comfort of my home. They brought everything they needed for mine, my 4 bridesmaids, my flower girl and my mother's hair and makeup. Everyone was happy with the end result! As promised, more about the package: The package includes a trial and a blow out the day before. The trial is key. I was thankful to get my look figured out before the actual day because of course a couple of tweaks were needed. I was also happy to get a blow out and hair treatment the day before so I could look great at my rehearsal dinner too! Be Inspired knows what they are doing from start to finish. Working with Hailey the bridal consultant beforehand was great! They/she has the process down. Having Jena as my stylist was also great, she is amazing at what she does! Overall very happy with the experience and this vendor!

My experience at Be Inspired was phenomenal. My stylist was Anna and she did a remarkable job on both the trial date and the actual wedding. The trial had to be on a Saturday because I'm an out-of-town bride and they were so accommodating, even though obviously Saturdays are hugely busy for them. I got an e-mail soon after with pictures of the trial hair and makeup. When I decided to shorten my hair right a bit afterwards to take some of the weight out of the updo, Anna was very responsive in telling me how much I should cut. On the day of we opted to have our hair and makeup done in the studio and it's a great space, very clean and nice and they had mimosas on hand. Everyone looked stunning on the day of. Two days after my wedding I went back in to get all my hair cut really short and I loved that too! My only regret is that I don't live in Madison anymore and therefore can't make them my go-to salon. Be warned that their bridal package is a little pricey, but it's so very worth it in my opinion!

I really enjoyed working with BeInspired. They provided services at my venue for 12 ladies. They were fun and on time! It's pricey, but worth it.

Be Inspired Salon was fantastic to work with! I was so happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding and really appreciated that my stylist took the time to listen to my ideas but also added in some of her own suggestions (which I loved!) I was also really happy with the hair and makeup of my bridal party and the mothers. Not only did everyone look great but we also had a lot of fun with the stylists who came to my home to help us get ready and were so impressed with how easily everything worked out (everyone was on time, well organized, great time management, etc.). I would definitely recommend Be Inspired Salon to other brides!

Everyone at Be Inspired Salon was great to work with! I've been going there for three years and I keep going back because Amanda is so amazing. When it came to my wedding, there was no question, I needed her to do my hair and makeup. I was a little shocked at the price, but they really make it worth it. They traveled to my wedding location at the Orpheum Theatre and we were done earlier than expected so we even had time for some extra photos. It was truly worth the price and they made everyone look so beautiful!

I go to Be Inspired to get my hair cut & colored normally. I got to work with my normal stylist and she did a great job. My 3 bridesmaids and my mom also had their hair done at Be Inspired and we were all very happy with our hair.

I loved my stylist Anna at Be Inspired. She worked with me to create a unique and beautiful hairstyle for my wedding and was willing to try and change things as needed. Kati, the owner, was also extremely helpful. She made sure we had privacy for our wedding and no other bridal parties were booked at the salon, which was important to me.

While the bridal package was a bit expensive, it did include a full consultation and run through prior to the wedding day, which I appreciated. The bridesmaid hair and make-up costs seemed to be in line with most other salons in the area. Overall, I would definitely recommend Be Inspired to any brides to be!

My bridesmaid, mom, mother-in-law and I had a wonderful experience here. Anna did a great job with my hair and make-up. Everyone was so friendly and they got the job done right. Its pricey, but I enjoyed the piece of mind on my wedding day knowing we would all look great. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it.

We used Be Inspired Salon for bridesmaids and flower girl hair and makeup for our wedding on October 28, 2017. Jena was my stylist and she was extremely helpful, sweet, and patient with me throughout the whole process. I barely wear or feel comfortable wearing makeup. Knowing this, I was quite nervous waiting for the wedding trial just a few weeks before the wedding (my schedule was crazy). So I booked Jena for my engagement session pictures which were about 2 months before the wedding. I highly recommend doing this if you have the chance! Jena respected my “phobia” of wearing too much makeup. When I saw the result of the pictures, I was shocked at how they looked -- pretty much as if I had no makeup on. After that I put all my trust in Jena and followed her recommendations. She was very patient and added make up slowly in the trial. I was really happy with the results, looked super natural and beautiful. For the hair, she was amazing as well. I was undecided to wear it all or half up, and she styled it in a way I could see both options and take pictures. A nice perk for the bride is that it includes a hair blow-out the day before the wedding (pretty much rehearsal dinner hair). Last but not least, Jena went out of her way the day of the wedding to make me feel comfortable. Even though I had sent out advance instructions to everyone having hair & makeup done, my mom did not read them (yes, people do not read emails). She did not read that she had to have her hair clean. She arrived with dirty hair and inadvertently (no fault of the salon) had her hair done like that before I arrived. I spoke with Jena and asked her if they could please wash my mom’s hair and style her again. Despite my mom being difficult, Jena was able to make this happen gracefully. I am so happy she was there all the way that day. It is in no way cheap compared to other places, but we all loved our looks and now I have a place I trust for hair and makeup in town!

My experience was great! I have curly hair and I have never LIKED any of my hair styles for homecoming/prom etc. I typically always do my own hair and for once I got to sit back and relax and the final product was beautiful.

Be Inspired Salon sent a team of stylists out to Sugarland Barn to do hair for me and my wedding party earlier in July. Being the bride, I was very particular about "the look" I was going for on my wedding day. Diana worked diligently (for longer than she should have) to make sure it turned out perfectly! The rest of the team knocked it out of the park as well. All my bridesmaids (as well as my mom and mother-in-law) looked gorgeous and they were such a pleasure to work with! If you are on the hunt for bridal hair in the Madison area, I would fully recommend this salon...thank you for a great experience Be Inspired Salon :)

My hair and makeup were perfect. I forgot my veil in New Jersey so the hairstyle I had wanted needed to be revised the day of. They were creative and came up with a hairstyle that multiple people (even a teenage boy) said was beautiful. I like that you get the salon to yourself (or they can come to you) and they make it a girls morning. They are a bit pricey, which I just had to deal with since my other hairstylist had to cancel about 2 months before the wedding. The only real negative is that my sister's (MoH) hairstyle did not last even until we left the salon. She had told them that her hair didn't hold a curl, but they were still willing to do a style where it was curly and down. I think they should have used their knowledge of what hair can do to educate her on a better style. But other than that, I had a great time and MY hair and makeup lasted all day and night.

All in all I was pretty happy with this salon. They are extremely expensive, but do a good job. Anna did my hair and makeup and it was absolutely perfect. The other girls could have been a bit friendlier, though.

I had an overall positive experience with Be Inspired. I really liked my stylist, Brittany, along with the other hair specialists who came on-site. My bridesmaids hair all turned out really beautiful. I also really loved the option for them to come on-site. The communication with Whitney was really strong and they were easy to work with.

Two issues I had:
1. I LOVED my hair at the trial. It made it difficult when she was doing my hair on the day because I wanted it to look the exact same, since I had fallen in love with it, and it looked much different. She had to re-do it multiple times to end up and something I was happy with, but still did not like as much as the trial. I appreciated that she kept trying things to make me happy, but this ended up taking a lot more of my morning than I anticipated. Again, didn't end up being a huge deal and she was nice through the whole thing, just a bit of a frustration.
2. I would NOT recommend is using them for bridesmaid makeup (bridal makeup was great). It was expensive and the girl who came onsite had a poor attitude when doing the makeup and when people pointed out things they didn't like. She put on one of my bridesmaid's eye lashes extremely poorly and they were falling off immediately/were half way up her eyelid. When she asked her to fix it, she had a bit of an attitude and put it on poorly again. The result was on my wedding day I was fixing her eyelashes. No one who had makeup done was happy with it.

I thought that this place did an excellent job on mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup. However, the cost of the services was a bit pricey. I am from out of town so I picked this place based off their reviews because no other place opened on Sunday for weddings and did not have as good of reviews as this place. I felt my make-up turned out wonderful and so did my hair however very expensive!

The staff at BeInspired is very friendly. I was also incredibly pleased with the hair and makeup services. McKenzie did my bridal hair and makeup, and she did a great job. Jena and Erin styled my bridal party, and they also did a phenomenal job. My issue with this salon is in the way they handled conflict. I was scheduled to have another stylist who ended up leaving the salon a month before my trial. They emailed me and told me I needed to change my appointment and have a new stylist. No "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. I called because I think it's pretty unprofessional to deal with this via email. I told them that I understand that this puts them in a tough spot, but I took off of work to be at my trial and that I would appreciate it if they would accommodate me on my originally scheduled date. They said that would be fine, and they'd make it work. Two weeks later, I received another email saying I needed to change my appointment because McKenzie would be out of town. If this were the case two weeks prior, they shouldn't have said they would make it work. Through all of this, I also mentioned that I didn't think I should have to pay the full price for a lead stylist as McKenzie was only an associate stylist. I was told that the pricing for bridal styling is set and that the price differences are meant for services provided in the salon, which I found incredibly odd and insensible as I was receiving services (hair and makeup) in the salon. I just didn't get why I should have to pay the price for a lead stylist when I'm getting an associate stylist. Then come the day of the trial, and they tried to charge me a higher price than originally stated. Overall, this dissatisfied review has to do with the poor customer service and the fact that the salon is way overpriced and seems money hungry. This is by no means a bad review of McKenzie, Jena, or Erin. They all did a wonderful job and were very friendly!! They were amazing.

Brides Pay Attention!

I had an appointment for hair and makeup at 9am. My appointment was complete at 11am. My special event was 5 minutes away from the salon at an indoor location 12-1. My hair did not even make it through the appointment. The manager blamed the weather. My hair was Bobby pinned and literally fell out. I was outside to walk to the vehicle and back inside. I live 2 1/2 hours north of the salon and was told I could come back in and it could be redone. The manager already blamed the weather for my hair falling out so I’m also not entirely sure how it could be any different when it is snowing/raining more than before! My event that my hair was done for is already over and I am on my way home. They absolutely will not give a refund. Beware no refunds even when they’re at fault. The girl used a huge curling iron causing my curls to be so loose they fell out while I was still there. I asked the girl if she had a smaller barrel and she said that was all she had. The manager said they have a limited supply of equipment.

If you’re getting wedding hair done you definitely need it to last! Don’t end up disappointed and out the money like I did!

Go somewhere that stands by their work and has proper equipment for everyone! Huge disappointment! I spent $139 on this service.

Charged $82 for no services

I had an appointment on a Tuesday at 9 AM. I called on Monday at 9 AM to reschedule but the call went to voicemail. I called again and again the call went to voicemail. I had to go back to work so I called again on my next break at 10 AM which is now 23 hours before my appoinment. This time someone answered and I explained the situation and even though it's not my fault that there aren't enough receptionists to answer calls, I am still penalized $82 because my call wasn't answered when I called 24 hours before my appointment and I had to go back to work. The receptionist was unrelenting and would not understand that I did call to reschedule 24 hours prior to the appointment. I love my stylist at Be Inspired so much but at this point, you have lost me as a customer, and I will be looking for somewhere else I can take my wedding services which is something I wanted to book through Be Inspired.
