Beautiful Venue
The Bayanihan Arts and Events Center was the perfect wedding venue for us - it has a beautiful ballroom and large dance floor which we loved! Vivian was a great manager to work with, she was easy to communicate with and was very thorough on making sure all the details were in order. We couldn’t ask for more perfect venue for our special day and an awesome team to make it all happen! -

Vivian was awesome. The venue turned out to be beautiful. They offered a military discount to my husband and I that we were very grateful for. Vivian was very patient with my husband who had no clue about planning a wedding but knew I needed his help because I was deployed. Thank you Vivian. Everything was perfect -

My husband and I absolutely loved the service provided by the Bayanihan!!!! We originally worked with Mr. Rudy Batista who was so nice, friendly and personable, then Joel and Liberty were taking care of our needs and helping us with arrangements. The price was so reasonable we couldn't say no and didn't want to go anywhere else. The decorations were beautiful and all of our family and friends were still complimenting us months later on how amazing everything turned out like a fairy tale. The wedding was perfect and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Tampa is such a beautiful place to have your wedding and the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center is their best kept secret. Thanks again for making our wedding special and memorable!!

Joel and his team did an AMAZING and WONDERFUL job on my weddding. At first, I was really worried as there was another event happening at the venue right before my ceremony and reception. I was assured that everything will be done timely. They were able to do everything on time all the way to the tiny details, from chairs to center pieces to lights and dance floor! Joel was able to accommodate all my requests, even adjusting the front stage where the ceremony was to be held. The venue was extremely gorgeous and it was everything I had dreamed of for my wedding! Thank you so much for making the best day of my life memorable and truly unforgettable! I wouldn’t have it anywhere else! :) -

My best friend's wedding turned out amazing thanks to the staff at Bayanihan Arts and Events Center!! Everything ran smoothly and they were very accommodating despite our late ceremony start. They were able to turn everything around quickly and on time! Joel and his team made sure everything flowed smoothly and kept the guests happy! The prices were very reasonable and the catering was delicious. I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone in the Tampa Bay Area! -

Bayanihan Arts and Events is a beautiful venue worth every penny you spend on it. The teams works with you to ensure all your needs are met in a timely fashion. Best of all, it's one of the few venues that allow you to use any vendor you like. They're very flexible!!! -

My Venue was here and me and my husband loved it, I was amazed at how beautiful everything turned out. All of our guest were just wowed at how amazing it looked. Defiantly would recommend Bayanihan Arts and Events Center for your next events. -

Wow! We had our ceremony and reception at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center. It was beautiful! Rudy was amazing to work with. Very helpful and professional. The hall was beautifully decorated by Arlene, and the hall already looks great with the drapes and lighting. We fit 160 guests with plenty of room to spare. -

This venue and the people that work there were just AMAZING! We are so blessed to have had our ceremony and reception there. Rudy and Ann were great people to work with, they were very flexible and did their very best to accommodate to the things we needed. They also recommend great vendors and will steer you in the right direction with planning. The site itself is just breathtaking with the beautiful lobby that has a piano centered in the middle below a spectacular chandelier (in my case they allowed the piano to be moved into the ceremony/reception space since my mother played a song during our ceremony). The ceremony/reception space includes the drapings against the wall with the LED lighting, which is something I really wanted for our wedding and would cost much more to have it added/rented through another vendor. Something I would let future brides know is to ask about the possibility of extending the hrs. They give you 4 hrs of free prep time (which include the ceremony) and then 5 hrs for the rest of the wedding starting with cocktail hr- if you have guests or you yourself are one to party a little longer then ask to see if you can add couple more hrs. I wish I had asked bc it went by too fast and didn't get to do certain things we wanted due to time. But really other than that, this place was PERFECT! We are extremely happy to have our wedding there and our guests enjoyed it as well! I could keep going into more details but it's really worth it to go there and see for yourself! -

Rudy, Ann and the team there are phenomenal! They are so professional and the area is so gorgeous! My wedding was like a fairy tale! They are so kind and willing to work with whatever you need! They even let us borrow 22 centerpieces at no charge! Definitely get the décor package along with the room, you won't regret it! -

What an amazing weekend. I would like to say this venue by far the best in Tampa. This venue provide everything you need for a wedding reception. I was blown away on the day of event. I highly recommend Ann Barlet for the day event coordinator. She went beyond and above to make sure everything was setup correctly. The lightning and draping is astounding. The layout with the dance floor make the room very cosy. There's also am outdoor patio which you can use for cocktail hours. Overall, I recommend this hall for any events. If you don't believe me, swing by and check it out. -

The Bayanihan Arts and Events Center exceeded my expectations. From the day I toured the venue, I knew I had made a good decision. The owner Rudy was consistently professional and prompt when responding to all my questions. I remained in contact with Rudy from the day of booking until the wedding day. The venue was beautiful. The lighting created a nice ambience and the fountain outside was also a nice touch to the overall ambience. I have seen several Tampa venues but none like this one. It is a must see! I also want to acknowledge Ann, the onsite wedding coordinator. Ann was wonderful! I had a bit of an emergency when the table linens ordered by the catering company were too short. Ann came to my rescue and managed to facilitate ordering longer linens. I had many special details that Ann managed to remember and carry out on my wedding day. Ann was very prompt in answering my questions by phone or email. -

Where do I start... After booking a non refundable venue prior to viewing thie Bayanihann we kno that we had made a wrong decision. This venue was absolutely jaw dropping beautifull. It was somewhere we could have our ceremony/reception @. It was everything we had hoped for visually and financially. So the next week we returned to seal the deal. From the day forward, we had the opportunity to work with ANN BARTLETT!!!! Ann was very professional, flexible and helpful through out our whole planning process. She went up, out and above to make our day special. We couldnt have asked for a better coordinator. Our guest keep telling us that, that the best wedding they every attended and how georgous the venue was. We also went with the Bayanihan Arts & Events Center as our Caterer as well. The food was delicious and affordable. -

To ALL future brides of Tampa....My wedding was an absolute dream because of this venue. What other venue includes the lighting, draping, catering and day planner at a reasonable rate in Tampa. We had the entire venue to ourselves and the service was fabulous! We were also not hounded about payments and they were EXTREMELY flexible!! My wedding was a bit nuts and they still held it together! My experience was just awesome, I repeat awesome.. -

The day really turned out beautiful. We were planning the wedding from a different state and had to do everything though email and phone. I was able to visit the place only twice before the wedding. I was nervous about all the details, but they got it all right and my husband and I are very grateful. Our guests were very impressed with the venue as well and all night we were asked how we found it and how beautiful it was!
If you are looking for a unique and accommodating venue, definitely consider the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center! As one of my bridesmaids put it: "You may not be able to pronounce it, but at least you will look classy!" -

The Bayanihan Arts Center is a hidden gem amongst Tampa! I did a lot of research and visited a lot of venues while planning my wedding. When I visited the Bayanihan I was blown away at the beauty of the facility and the ambiance that can be created with the colored lighting. It was breathtaking! What was even better is that the staff was incredibly easy to work with and seemed to care a lot about our event. In the end, my December wedding was the stuff made of dreams and a day I will never forget! Our guests are still raving at how beautiful the place was! Thank you Rudy, Ann and the entire staff for helping to make our wedding one to always for remember! -

The Bayanihan Arts and Events Center is the perfect place to have a wedding that is not too expensive yet looks expensive and if that is what you are looking for....this is the place to go!
The place is absolutely beautiful and I was amazed at how many compliments we received, most people saying that our wedding was the best they had ever been too. I would definitely recommend the Bayanihan for your wedding and reception.
The wedding planner Kathleen was amazing. She was there for my every need and was very caring as if it was her own wedding. I was VERY VERY happy with the Bayanihan! -

The event coordinator, Kathleen McGonigal, and the facility manager, Roody will go above and beyond expectations to make everything you desire for your wedding day come true. You are truly treated like family at the Bayanihan and the staff are extremely respectful and flexible in regards to your wedding budget. In addition, if you purchase your dress at Demetrios and use other highly recommended vendors (by Kathleen), you will receive not only the finest service but also huge DISCOUNTS on everything!!! Again, we recommended the Bayanihan Art and Events Center, Davant Photography, Expert Productions (video and DJ services), Arlene's Florist Designer for Weddings, and Olympia Catering Company. Overall I think my wedding turned out beautiful and was more than I ever thought was possible. The lighting and drapes really set this venue apart from many others. Iam still getting compliments about how beautiful our reception was! Rudy and ann were wonderful to work with and wanted to do anything they could to make us happy. The only downfall was the kitchen was doing dishes during my ceremony. Guest could hear plates clinking together and at one point a friend of ours got up and asked them to stop. Overall, I would recommend this venue to everyone! -

The Bayanihan is simply beautiful. I had my wedding an reception there. It is very affordable for all the ammenities that you get, drapings, chandeliers, and extra time if available. I will say to keep all of your paperwork. I was chargd an extra $250 for items that were already promised to me in my initial meeting but I couldn't find the paper. I didn't complain because many extras were added. Check it out! -

It is a beautiful venue, Ann is amazing, make sure she is there the night or day of your event, the person that ran my wedding was rude and I was disappointed at his service not that from the venue, I almost had a perfect wedding, so I can't complain to much. I just wish Ann would of been there. -

they treated us great for the most part. had a couple of back and forth about certain details dealing with the wedding. The Bayanihan was a wonderful location for my wedding reception! It was BEAUTIFUL! Looked like a platinum wedding for WAY less! The bartender at the beginning of the night was a little slow. I was told that I would have tables set up in the lobby for the day of the wedding, and they weren't there the day of the wedding. When I spoke to the lady who was acting as the manager of the night, she was little rude and said Well you didn't pay for it. Even though I thought I had work it out with the other manager to have those things. Overall it was really wonderful, just those minor details. They are quick to get you in, and then start to add a few extra cost. Which it's was worth in the end.
FYI: Be careful if they tell you to go with Victoria's Linens... Her prices sound great, and she does a great job, but she shows up the hour before your wedding to do the linens and charges extra for silk linens. -

Awesome place. Loved the atmosphere, although I wish we had a better coordinator for that night. He allowed for someone to open the doors to the hall ahead of schedule and His demeanor was very indifferent and uncooperative. All he cared about was charging for water and not caring to stop our party to get his payment.
Besides that, we had a great experience. And everyone loved the venue.

Our wedding was absolutely unforgettable. We held our reception here and were able to keep the guests inside cocktail hour and not inside the hall. That way when we arrived, we entered through a side door and were able to view the hall before everyone else did. I do give complete responsibility to my coordinator for keeping everything in check because a few times the manager Joel wanted to intercept with our plans on our grand entrance , etc. I also thought it was very strange that a few hours before the reception Joel said he misplaced the contract and could not remember what beers we had requested for the bar. They are not the best in responsiveness but if you have a good coordinator, I guarantee you everything will work out. There is no doubt that the hall was absolutely gorgeous and such a great price for everything you get. Just make sure you have all proper documentation, and a good coordinator to keep everything in check, and everything will be perfect. -

This venue is absolutely gorgeous. I worked with Ann Bartlett and everything was moving along smoothly until 1 week before the wedding. We scheduled to have our rehearsal there 2 months in advance and 1 week before the wedding, I found out that they had double booked and we were out of a rehearsal space. I was not impressed by their unapologetic attitude and their lack of flexibility in accommodating us at another time. We finally worked out a time for the rehearsal and when we arrived we were prevented from entering the building and told to enter from the side door.
After the planner made a call to the manager, we were ‘allowed’ to come inside but the space provided was very small. On the day of the wedding a new coordinator, Joel, was assigned to us and he was a pleasure to work with. I wish that we had been working with him from the very beginning. The room was more beautiful than I could imagine and Joel made sure that everything ran smoothly. I was pretty impressed because we utilized our plan B because of the rain and guests did not know about any of the changes made. They said all of the transitions were smooth and that everything was planned well. -

One word of advice-get everything in writing in an iron clad contract and unless you are willing to go through the Bayanihan exclusively for everything from decor to utensils and dishes, be prepared for a host of additional charges. This venue was very difficult to work with and afforded no flexibility for customization. They wanted to only use their inhouse decor and when we decided to use a more qualified and better suited decor company the venue's director completely went back on his word and came with a litany of bogus charges to throw at us after the event was over-and this was after the fact we paid in full the day we signed the contract-5 months before the event! Not many couples do that. Needless to say I would just urge couples to be extremely cautious when dealing with this venue and absolutely make sure you get everything Rudy or Katherine says in writing before you sign. Also do not give your credit card if at all possible. And Katherne was very hostile at times which I thought was highly unprofessional and added undue stress to what should be a joyful time for any couple.
