I was first introduced to Bavarian Cakery at a venue open house in 2020 and was blow away by how beautiful their cakes look and how delicious it tasted. I was also impressed by the free anniversary tier they offer their couples. My fiance and I started planning our wedding in April of 2021 and when we met with Tara at our cake tasting, I knew had found my bakery. I left my cake tasting with a sugar rush and a joy knowing I had made the right choice. The day of the wedding, my cake was exactly what I wanted and more than I could hope for. My only wish is that I had ordered a separate tier that we could take home because the cakes tasted soooo frigging good. I am looking forward to our anniversary when we can get our anniversary cake, but may just go ahead and order one just to enjoy it.
If you're considering Bavarian Cakery, go for it, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing work!
My daughter’s wedding was on 05/30/2026. We were recommended to Bavarian Cakery by the wedding venue! I am so glad that we chose them! At the cake tasting, we went over the entire vision and Stephanie took notes and genuinely took the time to make sure she understood and cared. The cake looked and tasted amazing!! It was exactly what my daughter wanted. We also used them to do a cocktail hour “grazing table” and a dessert table, that included a chocolate fountain. Everyone talked about how great it was and the presentation was beautiful. They stayed the entire wedding and made sure that everything stayed set up and filled. Tara and Stephanie are so accommodating and professional. I would 100% recommend them for any event you are planning.

Absolutely Stunning Work
Every single person that tried all three cakes we had for our wedding said that was the best cake they ever had! First, the cakes were absolutely amazing to look at. Tara and her team know what they’re doing over there. The tasting was professional and the staff was so kind. The Groom’s cake was no easy task and they nailed it! Delivery was on time and everything was intact when it arrived. Our wedding was location was local to the bakery but we live about 2.5 hours away. Any big occasion that we need a cake for…we will be taking a road trip!

Tastiest Cake EVER
First off, this was the best cake I've ever had. We ordered a 3-tier cake with two of the tiers being amaretto and Italian wedding. Which was an awesome compromise they made for us since we had different favorite flavors as the bride and groom. We did a cake tasting with our families and it was an awesome little experience, everyone had so much fun. We got to try many flavors of cake and icings that were all incredible. We designed a gorgeous cake of white icing with an ombre blue flowing rice paper cascade on the front. They put together the most perfect version of our vision we couldn't help but stop and stare when it arrived.

Not a cake person, but...
When it comes to weddings, I typically value dancing over dessert. That being said, my husband and I fell in love with Bavarian Cakery during our cake tasting. The cake was AMAZING!! We had three different flavors, and each one came out splendidly. The only regret I have is that I didn't have more! (But that's expected, I was busy getting married lol)

The best cake ever
THE BEST CAKE EVER! Tara and her team did an incredible job at being organized, professional, and delivering a beautiful wedding & grooms cake. However, it could have been a plain sheet cake and I would still be raving about it because it was absolutely delicious. Our guests have not stopped talking about how good the cake was, and I must agree. I myself have been craving our wedding cake since & hope to enjoy more of their delicious cakes in the near future.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious, and Tara was so easy to work with! She was able to make gluten free, egg free cupcakes to accommodate multiple of our guests’ dietary restrictions at once. These understandably had to be ordered in one dozen cupcake increments, and despite not having anywhere near 12 people who had these dietary restrictions they must have been tasty because I don’t think we had any left!

We used Bavarian Cakery for our wedding, and loved the way that the cake came out. The tasting experience was fun and ensured we picked the perfect flavors for the day of our wedding. We found Bavarian Cakery through our venue as it is the preferred vendor for Townhall Texas and I could not be happier! We setup a cake tasting and fell in love immediately. Tara was kind and professional and personable. She looked at my design and when I saw the cake on our wedding day I could not believe how perfect it was! In the middle of our planning stages I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and I called to see they could do, she assured me she would make sure I could eat my own wedding cake and let me tell you, the gluten free tier she made for me was just as delicious as the cake we had at our cake tasting. She had a piece precut and hid behind the actual cake so we could still cut our cake but eat the gluten free version. She also sent home a tier for our one year anniversary that is also gluten free!! It was perfect! Thank you Tara and all of your staff who are all courteous and helpful! We will be back!!

My wedding was 5/28/22 and I can’t say enough great things about the Bavarian Cakery! From our entail consultation to the finished product, every part of the process was enjoyable and painless. I lost count of how many of our guests came up to me and told me how delicious the cake was. Our dogs played a huge role in our wedding so for my grooms cake I had them create a fire hydrant cake and no joke, my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. I had high expectations and they blew it out of the water it was freaking perfect! The hardest part in the whole process was trying to decide flavors because they all were 10/10. These guys are the real deal and will forever recommend them!

Delicious Wedding Cake
Bavarian Cake made and delivered our wedding cake recently. The cake (amaretto with raspberry+cream cheese filling) got quite a few compliments from family and friends! Bavarian Cakery was super flexible with us from the beginning, we got engaged right before COVID hit the fan. We were supposed to do cake tasting right when everything shut down and Bavarian made a cute little cake tasting box for us to take home and try! But of course, my husband decided to dance on the way home which shifted all the cake in the box so we had no idea which flavor went to which cake LOL so we called them and they did their best to explain what each other looked like. We, unfortunately, had to postpone our first wedding due to the Texas freeze in February and this vendor was super understanding and rescheduled us for an August date, and guess what....we actually got to have a traditional cake tasting LOL I cannot wait to see pictures from our photographer because the cakes looked fantastic! They were exactly what we asked for & they tasted wonderful!

The Bavarian Cheesecake
If I could eat a cake all day, every day (and not get sick, or fat) it would definitely be the Bavarian Cheesecake!! We had a 3 tier cake of vanilla and chocolate Bavarian cheesecake and all of our guests RAVED over it. No one could get over how good it tasted and people who didn’t even eat cake loved it! The most delicious cake EVER!
We went to one cake tasting and we were sold. The cake, icing, and filling offerings were SO delicious. We chose almond cake with raspberry cream cheese filling for our 3 tier cake and 24 chocolate and vanilla with buttercream icing cupcakes. Tara was so easy to work with and communication was great. I changed my mind on design several months before the wedding and they were so accommodating to my changes. Our cake was drop dead gorgeous (a black fondant geode design) and the cupcakes looked like little succulents and they were freaking adorable. The cake was amazing and it was all gone at the end of the night (before the end of the night, actually). We literally only got the bites from the cake cutting, but they were everything. My regret? Not getting some Bavarian cheesecake too – because that stuff is sinfully good.

At first, I tried Bavarian by referral from my photographer. They were the first and only place I tried! I was so blown away by the Chocolate Bavarian Cheesecake that I couldn't imagine having my wedding without it.
They were so great to work with, communicated well, and were willing to create our vision so well!
We had MANY guests comment on how great the cakes looked and tasted. You love to hear your guests rave about details of your wedding!
I also rented cake stands and snack trays from Bavarian, which was a smooth process and they looked great! We left flowers at the venue for them the add to the cake and they looked perfect!
You will not find something better than the Bavarian Cheesecake, and all their other flavors are just as good!

Best Wedding Cake EVER!
Bavarian cakery has something that no other bakery has. The bavarian cream cake! My husband doesn't even like chocolate cake and requested that we have a chocolate tier for our wedding cake. They did an amazing job with our sweets table and were reliable and communicate thoroughly. They delivered everything I asked for and imagined. They will make your day amazing! We were worried with COVID and our much smaller final guest count that there would be so much left over but everyone loved the desserts. There was nothing left to take home! Book them for all your special events! They are worth every penny.

Simply the Best
Using Bavarian Cakery was one of the best experiences that we had. Due to the pandemic, they were very willing to accomodate our needs. They provided to go samples for us to try. It was a very hard decision picking 2, but went with their speciality, the Bavarian Cream white and chocolate. Everyone could not stop talking about how wonderful the cakes were. They are simply the best!

Desserts of our dreams
So thankful we found Bavarian! Our cake was exactly what we wanted it to look like and it tasted AMAZING! My husband doesn't even like cake, and even he thought it was good! They also accommodated by making "grooms pies" which were so fun! They offered such affordable and reasonable pricing! So so thankful to have had them be a part of our day!

Amazing Cakes
Bavarian Cakery is amazing and so easy to work with. Brides cake was vanilla Bavarian cheesecake and Grooms cake was carrot cake with cream cheese filling both cakes were well made and so delicious. The decoration for the brides cake was simple but elegant and exactly what we wanted. The grooms cake was also decorated perfectly we requested a three logo cake (Texans, Astros and Rockets) and it looked awesome! Everyone loved the cakes and we received so many great compliments.

OMG, Tara makes amazing cakes! We had a total of 4 different flavors, which came out to way more than our guest count and didn’t have any cake left. When we did our cake tasting i thought my FH would want to do a sweets bar or a popcorn bar because he isn’t a cake person, but her cakes were SO amazing he insisted we do a wedding cake, grooms cake AND their specialty Bavarian cheesecake! 🤤. Did not disappoint, we will probably we going back and purchasing an anniversary cake next year

Bavarian was amazing from the cake tasting to the day of the wedding!! They took my Vision and executed it perfectly. Also the Cake tasted amazing, and out of a four tier cake, I was leftover with about half the bottom tier but got requests the next day to bring the cake to work because everyone wanted more!!!! Saved my wedding day!
Our wedding cake turned out AMAZING!!! We were unfortunately victims of the local Edible Designs scam (they disappeared with everyone's money and closed their doors without explanation), and with less than 60 days left before our wedding we were panicked to find another cake to replace what we had originally designed. Tara was absolutely amazing and met with us on a weekend (which she normally doesn't do, so that was incredibly kind of her!!). She helped us design an even more beautiful cake than the original cake, which we honestly thought was our perfect cake. This time we decided to try something completely different than our original design, and Tara really listened to our opinions. She could read our non-verbal reactions to different ideas, and she ended up designing our absolute perfect wedding cake. Although the Edible Designs incident was very upsetting and we never recovered the money we lost, we can now look back and see it as a blessing in disguise because we loved this cake so much more!!! The flavors were amazing, the design was flawless, and the delivery and setup was worry-free. Thank you so much Tara and team at Bavarian Cakery!!!

Bavarian Cakery was the best all around. Customer Service was awesome, they answered any and all of dumb questions. The cakes were unreal. Our grooms cake was gone before I even got a chance to have a piece and the wedding cake was nearly gone by the end of the night. Tara listened and was able to quickly add some suggestions and give us a visual that made our visit very productive. Our samples were delicious. When I first tasted Bavarian's cakes I know I HAD to get one for my wedding. I opted for the bavarian cream cake and strawberry - my only wish is that it had lasted longer!! Bavarian Cakery did my wedding cake and grooms cake for my wedding in October 2018 and did an amazing job!! They let us choose different flavors of cake for each tier of the wedding cake and each was so delicious! And the chocolate grooms cake with Reese's was to die for! I gave them pictures of the cake designs I wanted and they nailed it! Tara was amazing to work with on the flavors and designs of the cakes and was flexible if I had any changes to make. We also had Bavarian Cakery make mini pies (pumpkin, apple, and pecan) as favors for the wedding. The pies were a hit with all the guests! In the end, everything turned out EXACTLY how I wanted and I would highly recommend Bavarian Cakery!

We had only tried two cake bakeries before I decided on Bavarian Cakery. They were the perfect choice.
When you walked into the place, its a cute cozy little space with examples of other gorgeous cakes. They have their cozy dining table for tastings which are free. The cake tasting experience was so easy and delicious. Honestly, cakes can get very expensive but working with Bavarian was easy and cost efficient. You really can't go wrong with them.
Their cakes are delicious, beautiful and worth it.

I ordered a graduation cake for 100 people. The colors on the cake were to my specifics, and the cake was delicious, and we had plenty. My daughter and son in law got married late March. Bavarian Bakery did the cake ... and what a wonderful job they did! The cake meeting/tasting was a breeze. The cake itself was custom, beautiful and delicious. And the delivery was well ahead of schedule. They even brought a second cake top section for the bride/groom to take home -- just in case the top section of the reception cake was eaten on accident. That was thoughtful. We used them for our wedding in January and everyone LOVED the cake. The main cake was Bavarian cheesecake with whipped icing and we also had an extra sheet cake that was yellow cake with raspberry filling and the buttercream icing. It was beautiful AND delicious. My wedding was on a unusual day (Black Friday) in Huntsville, Texas . I was having a hard time finding a cake vendor since I live all the way in La Porte, Tx. I was not very familar with the area too well surrounding Huntsville. I had tried reaching out to other vendors located near Huntsville to do our wedding cake. Many were not willing to help because they were closed that weekend due to the Thanksgiving holiday. I had mentioned this to my caterer (AllStar Catering ) and she referred me to Bavarian cakery. From the first phone call it was very easy to communicate with them and they were willing to make and deliever my cake on my wedding day . I had someone who actually ordered my cake for me. They had a very easy time throughout the process I believe. What I am certain about is how yummy and beautiful my cake was. We definitely enjoyed it! Thanks so much!

AAHHHHHMAZING! I am a wedding florist and have had many opportunities to put flowers on Bavarian Cakery's gorgeous cakes, as well as do a little taste testing at random open houses that I have the pleasure of working with them. However, this Christmas season, I hired them to make a custom gingerbread cake for my company Christmas party, in addition to a sheet cake, and they came through with perfection! Truly! Thank you so much for being a wonderful example of what a company should be! You rock!! 100% recommended!!

Bavarian Cakery is by far one of the best vendors I have ever worked with, both as an event planner and a bride. They are quick to respond, competitively priced (and they work with your budget SO well), creative, and most importantly they make dang good cakes.
They created the wedding cakes of my dreams. The cakes they designed were beautiful and delicious. We got so many compliments about the cake the day of the wedding and even after. Everyone in their team is great to work with, and they all communicate so well, which as a self planning bride, is a HUGE thing.

Tara and her stuff were so easy to work with and helped me to create my vision for the cake and the dessert bufffet. Everyone was in awe of the assortment of desserts, the quality and beautiful display that was created.

My wedding was out of town. They could not have been more helpful. I had a wedding cake and a grooms cake made. My brother had also used the Bavarian Cakery for his wedding. He and his bride were very happy with them and that's why I used them as well!! The cakes were delicious and exactly what we ordered. The owner Tara little and staff could not have been nicer!!

We loved working with everyone from Bavarian Cakery. Tara is the sweetest! She is so helpful and always quick to respond. Before I even met my husband, there was one thing I knew for certain that I wanted for my wedding, and that was a cheesecake wedding cake. Our cake was beautiful and more importantly – DELICIOUS! Tara was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process. The cake was everything we wanted and our guests enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend Bavarian Cakery, and hope to have another slice of that delicious cake soon!

Our cake was included in our wedding package at our venue, and they used the Bavarian Cakery.
Let me tell you, we were very pleased. We had strawberry cake with lemon cream cheese filling for the top and bottom layers (we discovered this combo at the tasting and fell in love!), and our middle layer was chocolate with cream cheese filling. Ohhh the cake was so good, the frosting was spectacular, and the design was just as we had asked. We opted for a simple design for the cake and had our florist do flowers for extra decoration, and everything was perfect.
Everyone loved the cake! We loved the cake! I would recommend the Bavarian Cakery for their wedding cakes!

Bavarian Cakery did an amazing job with both the bride and groom cake. Throughout the process Stephanie and Tara were extremely helpful and prompt to respond to my emails.
For the grooms cake, my husband had an idea of what he wanted and they surpassed our wildest imagination with the cookie cake. It was thick and decorated with our requested football theme and although we didn't actually get to taste it due to wedding shenanigans, everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The bridal cake was delicious and decorated just as I described. We will for sure recommend Bavarian Cakery.

The entire experience was simple; we made an appointment, sampled several cakes, laid out a design, and it was delivered as scheduled looking absolutely beautiful on the day of our wedding. We chose the Bavarian cheese cake which was delicious. We would absolutely work with them for future needs.

I want to thank you for the amazing job you did for our wedding... the cake was exactly the way we wanted to look and the flavor of the cheesecake (vanilla and chocolate) was simply amazing. You are the best and I highly recommend you - 100%. The whole experience was great... we really love the tasting. We were able to taste different options. One of my favorite parts was the wedding day. We showed a picture of the look we wanted to the person who delivered it to the venue and did it exactly like in the picture!!! Love it!!!!

Bavarian cakery made everything easy! I ordered a naked Bavarian wedding cake with berries, and they were able to accomplish what I had in mind. They were on time with the order with a set delivery fee based on my venue distance I believe, and set everything up so I had zero stress. Thanks guys!

Met with them to do our cake testing and the selection they had available was awesome. The outcome of our cake and what we asked for was exactly on point!! We did a wedding cake and a groom's cake and both were delicious and everybody raved about both of them!!
