Aaron made our wedding the party of the century! Every couple says that lol but he really did make all the difference. From MC'ing the ceremony to our walk in where he made us feel like celebrities to the whole night dancing, he was truly a dream. I couldn't wish for anything better. There was never a dead or dull moment, he did a phenomenal job reading the room, and he was just incredible all around! GREAT DJ!

Our personal number one priority was the DJ and music at our wedding, to the point where I interviewed six DJs before booking. Neema and Bat City Beats were great on the interview, great during planning, and PHENOMENAL during the wedding.
Like many other 20 somethings I've been to many weddings at this point in my life, and I knew I wanted my wedding to have the most lit dance floor I'd ever seen. Like. No lulls in action at all. My husband and I are huge EDM fans, and I'm also on a Kpop dance team with dozens of our friends sharing those interests, so I needed someone who understood my vibe and kept the energy very high.
NEEMA UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT PERIOD. From the ceremony music (perfectly done) to the intro song, and the whole reception he was on TOP of it. We literally did not leave the dance floor all night. And it was full literally the whole night. Dozens of people told us that it was the best dancing ever at a wedding, the most lit dance floor, and the best DJ they'd ever heard at a wedding.
Do with that what you will but Neema is the BEST and the staff (s/o Tammy!) is so so helpful and responsive at Bat City as well. Take it from a party girl and book them. -

DJ A-Wall was incredible at our wedding this past weekend. I can't say enough good things about him. His positive energy and excitement are infectious and his disco ball helmet made a lasting impression! He played everything we wanted to hear and we had the best party ever!!! We also used Bat City Beats for lighting and a disco ball and it was perfect. THANK YOU! -

We found Aaron on a trip to Moontower Saloon when he was playing a random afternoon set. He started out strong and just got better as the set went. Banger after banger after banger and we knew he was meant to be our DJ; we couldn’t stop grooving at the table. Aaron brought the party and the hype to our wedfest and all of our guests danced the night away; I never saw an empty dance floor and received so many compliments from the guests. He made sure to play our requested songs when we were available and able to dance which made my night. Our venue's service was spotty at best and he came more than prepared not skipping a beat (pun intended!) My favorite part was when I was just about to walk down the aisle, Aaron was jamming out to my aisle-walk song on the side just hyping me up. It took the nerves away and made me so excited. He’s such a professional and knows how to talk to and work a crowd. Bat City Beats (DJ A-Wal) is HIGHLY recommended. -

If you want your wedding to vibe, you’ll want Neema on your corner. He has just the right touch to read the room, and create the ambience that enhances what people want in the moment. Our ceremony with multiple mics went impeccably. The dinner was tasteful, and he took our playlist into account, and got what we were going for. He was amenable with all our crazy requests, and fulfilled them. Though one song from our banned list did manage to sneak through during the reception, its effect could not contravene the overwhelming sense of fun he facilitated, which was reflected on how much fun the people in the dance floor were having. Neema knows how to drop it. You’ll be in the hands of a pro! -

DJ Neema was INCREDIBLE! So many people came up to us and said he was the best DJ they've ever heard. He did an amazing job of getting to know our music preferences, getting our guests hyped up, and reading the crowd at the event. We had a packed dance floor the entire night. We had some mishaps with our originally booked DJ and I'm so glad things worked out with DJ Neema instead because it was seamless. I would recommend him to anyone!! -

I have been photographing weddings for years, and I’m met Neema through the Wedding industry so when it came turned to my wedding, I knew no matter where I had my wedding he had to come and DJ I flew him down to Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and he did not disappoint! Everyone was complementing him, and I had plenty of coordinators at the wedding. We had the best time, and he listened to exactly what I wanted and when I wanted it, it was perfect. I wouldn’t change anything! -

I highly recommend Bat City Beats for anyone planning a wedding or any event. We worked with DJ David and he was responsive, organized, and made the process so easy on us. We had some last minute changes and he was flexible and able to accommodate everything. We had so many guest ask us who the DJ was because they loved him so much. Our wedding was a huge hit and a big part of that was thanks to DJ David and Bat City Beats. 10/10! No notes -

Bat City beats was professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. We felt we were in good hands, from beginning to end. Music and lighting were very important to us, and Bat City Beats did not disappoint! The vibe was perfect and the party was jumpin! So much so that me and my husband spontaneously decided to go out afterwards because we weren't done dancing when the wedding was over. Neema took the time to listen to our music preferences, put together an awesome set, and make sure we felt catered to. The uplights were worth it. The photo booth was a hit. And Neema also did an excellent job MC'ing the wedding. So happy we purchased the full package, because from the time guests walked in to the time they went home they had an excellent experience. From the guests arrival to the ceremony to the cocktail hour, dinner, and last dance. Everything went according to plan, according to our personal tastes. We are so thankful and so happy with our decision to go with Bat City Beats. -

Neema was an incredible DJ! We hired Bat City Beats for our wedding after party (had a classic band for the main reception). It was an incredible process from start to finish! Our wedding planner recommended Neema to us and we met with him via zoom and loved him! They had a super easy portal to upload all of your must plays and don't play and he followed it to a tee! We are super particular (NY snobby couple haha) and wanted to create a RAGER after party. Neema brought the lighting specialist, Robert, into conversations when we shared that we wanted to create an electric forest vibe since our after party was outside (on a budget). It looked INSANE. So cool, our friends could not get over it! Amazing music, vibes, process, and execution! Hire bat city beats for any event!! -

Starting with the first planning call, Aaron aka DJ A-Wall, brought the good vibes and an infectious energy. He brought a genuine joy to his work while helping us envision our party. We were confident that he'd deliver on our big day, and he delivered in style.
DJ A-Wall landed the ceremony music flawlessly but coming into our first reveal was a moment we will never forget. Family, friends and guests were HYPED. Elderly people you'd never expect were knocking over chairs to twirl napkins and cheer us on. It was surreal and amazing. We also have to give big props to him bringing multi-cultural/multi-lingual families together with his curated playlist. No easy task! We owe a big thank you to Aaron for giving us that story and a perfect night on the dance floor. We had an epic time. Highly recommend Bat City Beats and asking for Aaron! -

Neema came prepared with all the equipment necessary and kept the music flowing all night! He took the time to meet with us and asked about music preferences throughout the different times of the night. Our Photo Booth was a huge hit and we loved that our family and friends got to take home a physical copy of the pictures and get a digital copy emailed to them! It was also great that we got to individualize our names on the photo strip! The man running the photo booth was a great HYPE guy! he got you super excited to take your pics.

DJ Neema from Batcity Beats was hands down incredible, and we were thoroughly impressed.
From the beginning, they were nothing less than professional. Working with Tammy through the booking process was a breeze, and not only was she super helpful but also funny (added bonus)
We had a vision of what we wanted but weren't exactly sure how to make it a reality. Once we had a conference call with DJ Neema, everything became seamless, effortless, and seemed to fall into place. He listened to what we wanted and gave us ideas to help our vision come to life.
On the day of, the DJ was punctual, showed up, and immediately began setting up. My husband went down to greet him, and to our surprise, he had our timeline and all other important info in hand, which was a very pleasant touch. After talking with my husband and confirming timelines and what we wanted, that was it. From then on, we were completely hands-off. DJ Neema flawlessly executed everything we had envisioned. He was punctual with each event throughout the reception and was very energetic when speaking over the microphone. We couldn't have been happier.
The best part of all? He absolutely NAILED the music we wanted for the reception party/dancing. We gave him an idea and the genre of music we wanted, then allowed him to do his own thing with it. We didn't demand songs or give him lists of songs to follow. After letting him execute as he saw fit, All I can say is WOW. Afterward, everyone, and I mean everyone, was complimenting and talking about how good the DJ was for hours and even days after the party had ended.
Us giving him his "freedom of expression" when it came to song selection and us simply giving him our vision, he gave us the best evening we could have ever asked for!
Stop looking and start booking now. You won't regret your decision! HIGHLY recommend! -

Aaron was such an amazing DJ! Other than our “specialty” songs, we gave him free reign of songs to play-our only request was that our wedding was a party and he kept the dance floor packed all night! We’ve had so many people tell us that our wedding was the most fun wedding they’ve been to! He coordinated entrances, got everyone pumped up for the entrances, did a beautiful job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and had unique ideas about how to pack the dance floor that worked so well! I would recommend him to anyone! -

A DJ with Great Vibes!!!
Bat City Beats was phenomenal! DJ Neema really read the crowd at our wedding and kept everything flowing so smoothly. People of all ages were dancing and enjoying themselves, mics and sound were flawless and the vibe was perfect! He also helped us plan out logistics of what mics were needed and when. It was tremendously helpful given we've never put together an event like this before!
We looked at other music options, but DJ Neema really offered the best. He made it such an easy decision for us! We are still getting compliments about our wedding DJ from our guests! Go for Neema! -

I cannot recommend Neema enough! As a massive music lover and former DJ myself, the music for my wedding was incredibly important to me.
Neema came highly recommended by both our venue and planner, and I can see why!
He is super easy to work with. Always available when we needed to chat - which wasn't often because the man is a pro.
I mean, we gave him vague ideas of what we wanted (downtown club mixed with a Jimmy Eat Wednesday vibe) and a handful of artists, and he crafted an incredible night for us!
Furthermore, he is incredibly accommodating. I made a handful of random requests (artists not previously discussed) throughout the night, and he had them playing almost immediately. Effortless flow.
Lastly - and maybe I should have opened with this but - I made a pretty big ask in our first consultation meeting (I wanted to DJ a small opening set - gotta show the friends/family I "still got it!"). With no hesitation he agreed and even helped me through a technical snag on the day. It all worked out, and we all had so much fun!
Probably not the easiest wedding he's worked, but we are incredibly appreciative of his patience and dedication to his craft.

Wow!!! Neema with Bat City Beats absolutely killed it at our wedding! Not only did he have everyone on the dance floor all night long (including my 80 year old grandparents), but he MC’ed the entire day like a true professional. Everything from the start of the ceremony through our private last dance was executed absolutely perfectly. Neema was wonderful to work with. He had a questionnaire that we filled out to give him an idea of the type of music we like, to identify special songs we wanted played, and to tell him the songs we didn’t want played. He did a great job of taking the variety of music we like and working it in at just the right time to keep the party jumping all night. There was never a dull moment, or any songs that cleared the dance floor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had dancing, and you could definitely tell everyone was having a good time in the photos we got back from our photographer. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Thank you so much Neema for making our wedding a night to remember! -

I had my wedding in April and, unfortunately, I was a bit let down with the DJ services and overall execution from Bat City Beats. Given the great reviews I had read about DJ A-Wall (Aaron), I felt confident we’d be in a good hands especially booking the Master DJ package. While it's possible there could have been miscommunication between the DJ and our coordinator, there were several hiccups throughout the evening that unfortunately stood out. I feel these could have been avoided with better preparation and reviewing callouts discussed during the week leading up to the event.
To start, from what I heard, the ceremony didn’t start as smoothly as planned—the Groom's entrance song had to be played twice, which was a bit awkward. There was also a mix-up in the order of speeches, though that wasn’t a huge deal and we were able to laugh it off.
What was more disappointing, though, was how the dances were handled. The Mother/Daughter dance, which was clearly listed in the timeline (and even highlighted as a separate section in their app), was completely overlooked. We had also discussed it during our planning call. While I understand that the planning call might have been challenging for him due to finding a quiet space, it still felt like a significant detail missed.
The app they used was incredibly helpful for organizing our songs, from the ceremony to the dance floor. My husband and I put a lot of effort into selecting the songs we were most excited to hear, so it was a bit disappointing when not all of them were played (to add it wasn't too long of a dance party playlist). There were times when we had to request songs or have friends ask for them to be played next. Some songs that were played weren’t familiar to us, and it felt like he might have been testing things out, though I'm not entirely sure. Additionally, a few songs were repeated (like Low by Flo Rida), which wasn’t ideal, especially since music is such an important part of the wedding experience. I’ll admit, one song was repeated due to our own oversight. We didn’t realize that we had selected a similar song for both the Father/Daughter dance and the Anniversary dance. It would have been helpful if the DJ had flagged this while reviewing our playlist, so we could’ve chosen something different.
Lastly, to me personally, one of the biggest letdowns was the late-night snack moment. I had talked with Aaron specifically about tying in HOTTOGO by Chappell Roan to our hot dog snack, with a fun announcement like "get your hot dogs to go!"—especially since we had bought hot dog sleeves for it. Sadly, the song was already played earlier in the night while I was away for a dress change, and when the snack was finally mentioned, it was done in a very brief and unceremonious way: "and there's a late-night snack option available." That moment was something I had really looked forward to, and it ended up falling flat.
I do appreciate the effort, and I know music is such a key part of a wedding—which is why it felt disappointing. Given the many positive reviews I had read, I’m honestly not sure why this one missed the mark, but unfortunately, it just didn’t come together the way I had hoped. Not to say it was an awful experience but it wasn’t a highlight of our wedding like anyone wants it to be.
