Barr DJed our wedding on April 22, 2022 and it was out of this world. I – of course – am biased, so I will share a comment I received multiple times on our wedding night: “Best f-ing wedding DJ ever!”
I have never been to a wedding where the DJ read the room SO well. Barr knew exactly what to play at the right time and when to move on to the next song or genre. We had some specific requests for the timing of songs during our ceremony and reception and he nailed each request and executed them better than I envisioned. A bonus is that Barr and his team LOVE what they do and brought such a good energy to the entire day. -

DJ Barr absolutely made our wedding. From our very first planning call, he was incredibly detail-oriented and thoughtful. He asked all the right questions about our taste, our must-plays and do-not-plays, and how we wanted the energy to flow throughout the night. He worked seamlessly with our planner and the rest of our vendor team to nail every single timing cue, and there were a lot of them. Entrances, toasts, parent dances, dance floor open, last dance: everything hit exactly when it was supposed to.
As an emcee, he was excellent. He read the room well, kept guests engaged without ever being cheesy, and had the crowd hyped from the moment the dance floor opened until the last song. His improvisation skills stood out. When the father of the bride name-dropped Lil Wayne in his welcome speech, DJ Bar dropped "A Milli" a few minutes later and the room lost it.
The production was top-tier too. Cold sparks, visuals, and a sound system that absolutely thumped. The dance floor was packed all night and our guests are still talking about it weeks later.
If you want a DJ who is equal parts meticulous planner, hype man, and creative artist, book DJ Barr immediately. We could not recommend him more highly. -

We had the pleasure of working with DJ Barr for our March 2026 wedding, and truly, the day wouldn’t have been the same without him. From our very first conversation, he was professional, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable. He really took the time to understand our vision and helped bring it to life in a way that exceeded our expectations.
He handled our ceremony audio flawlessly, and once the reception started, the energy never dropped. The dance floor was full the entire night—he has an amazing ability to read the room and keep everyone engaged.
We also threw a few last-minute song changes his way and made changes to the schedule, and he handled them seamlessly without missing a beat. We really appreciated his flexibility and calm professionalism.

We had DJ Barr for our wedding on September 21, 2025, and he completely exceeded every expectation!!! From the very beginning, the planning process was so easy and stress-free. He was beyond accommodating with every request, super organized, and such a fun, positive person to work with. His energy was amazing and truly set the tone for the entire day.
He handled our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception flawlessly. Every transition was seamless, and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. I don’t think I ever stopped dancing or left the dance floor! He even helped us execute our t-shirt toss, and it went exactly how we imagined, such a fun and memorable moment for everyone. The photo booth with the floral backdrop was a huge hit, and the sparklers and fog effects made our first dance feel like something straight out of a movie. To top it all off, the live saxophone player brought the most incredible vibe that our guests are still talking about. All our guest literally said the DJ Barr was the best wedding DJ they’ve seen and we couldn’t agree more with that statement.

Bayardo and his team surpassed our expectations on every front. Our night would not have been the same without them. There was so much thought into every detail of the night, and they made sure we got everything out of it that we wanted. They were super attentive to our guests and the lighting set up was INCREDIBLE!!!! We highly recommend you upgrade to the CO2 gun package, it was SO MUCH FUN and hyped the crowd so much. We felt like we were at a concert. Bayardo is such a good MC, and was just hyping the crowd all night. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to make our night so special. We also requested a DJ saxophone player combo, and the sax player was so talented and really made it something special. Our guests were coming up to us and telling us how amazing our DJ is. Bayardo and his staff from Barr Entertainment were nothing short of impeccable. Throughout our wedding planning process Bayardo was attentive to our wishes when it came to announcements during our reception. He was also very helpful with handling the uplighting during reception and his guidance helped create the perfect ambience. His expertise shown bright when it came time for the dance music. Bayardo was able to take the list of songs we had given and transformed them into an amazing playlist that had people on the floor all night! He also added light sticks as the night went on which were a big hit for our guests! We also would highly recommend the photo booth as we were given a book with copies of everyone's photo and a nice note. We cannot recommend Barr Entertainment enough! -

Let me start by saying that music was one of the most important things for me for my wedding. My husband & I along with our friends and family love a good party - and in order for that to really succeed is with amazing music. DJ Barr & Entertainment was actually the only DJ I inquired with and my husband & I loved his vibe just off of our first zoom. Can't say enough about Bayardo and his team. People are STILL talking about our wedding and how amazing the music and party vibes were. The only time the dance floor was empty was while dinner was being served. Other than that, the dance floor was filled all night long and they were amazing at navigating different genres for all ages & different moments of the reception. The CO2 gun & horn were such special add ons and really engaged the crowd. The sparklers also added an amazing flair to the reception. All around I would live my wedding night over again and again with DJ Barr & his team. It was an unforgettable night and you will NOT regret booking with him!! -

DJ Barr and his team were absolutely incredible for our wedding. We witnessed their Entertainment at my cousin’s wedding back in 2022 and I looked at my fiance’ and said “we need to hire these guys for our wedding.” The music selection, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and the show they put on was something we had never seen at other weddings. When the time came for us to select the entertainment for our wedding, it was a no brainer. We contacted DJ Barr right away and from there he guided us through a seamless process of preparation and how we wanted to execute everything. We were looking for a bilingual English/Spanish DJ. Luckily, we found DJ Barr for our big day on June 15, 2024. They truly went above and beyond to make it unforgettable! From the moment the reception started, it was clear that we were in good hands. They provided not only an awesome music mix but also an amazing photo booth, a 360 video booth, modern DJ Booth display, and even sparklers that added that perfect touch of magic to the evening.
DJ Barr curated a fantastic mix of music that held the perfect balance between old school classics and today's hits. It was like they knew exactly what we needed to keep everyone, young and old, on the dance floor all night long. The transitions were seamless, and the energy never dipped for a second. They played genres such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton, Freestyle, House, and Hip-hop.
The photo booth was a huge hit with our guests, offering fun props and high-quality prints that everyone could take home as a keepsake. The 360 video booth was an absolute showstopper—our guests are still talking about how cool it was to create such dynamic and fun video memories. And the sparklers? They were the perfect way to make truly magical photos.

Literally the best!
Our wedding was September 14,2023 and we absolutely loved working with Barr Entertainment. DJ Barr and his whole team was nothing short of exceptional! From beginning to end, he was always very friendly and accommodating of all our needs, questions or concerns. WOW!! Barr Entertainment absolutely exceeded our expectations! Barr was the DJ for our wedding and let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. From the lighting, to the set up, the sparklers/CO2, the photo booth, all of it, AMAZING!!! So many of our friends and family asked who the DJ was because it was and I quote "the best f***ing wedding they have ever been to". My bridesmaids even asked me for his number because he wants book him for her wedding.
Barr was incredible to work with. He understood everything we asked of him and he definitely understood "our vibe". Barr was able to blend together all of our different music requests and styles perfectly. He was able to read the room PERFECTLY. They also gave us a little surprise during the reception with their CO2 gun! We wanted a club vibe and we for sure achieved that.

DJ Barr did an AMAZING job at my wedding! At the start of the planning process, I was super nervous about making sure mine and my husband’s cultures were equally represented. I knew this would be hard for any DJ, since most of my family speaks Spanish! Not only did DJ Barr speak perfect Spanish, he knew so much about Mexican music and culture. He got all of the Mexican side dancing to all of the hits! He also made sure my husband’s Jewish side had the most incredible horra dance. He is by far the BEST bilingual DJ in the area. You can’t replicate his cultural knowledge! At the end of the night every single guest was on the dance floor dancing to both English and Mexican music! He made the vibe sooooo electric that no one wanted to leave the dance floor. My entire family keeps asking me for his contact information to hire him for future weddings and Quinceneara’s! My husbands side can’t also stop praising his taste in English music that got them fired up. He was so good with getting every single generation to dance. He really had something for everyone. 10/10 would recommend. Do yourself a favor and get the uplighting!! So worth it. The photobooth was also a massive hit. -

1000/10 would recommend DJ Barr for your wedding!
DJ Barr was the first vendor we met with when planning our wedding — and, actually, he ended up inspiring us to find our dream venue! From our first Zoom meeting, Barr’s kindness and energy was so apparent — as was his passion for not only music, but photography. We ended up hiring his services for DJ (plus uplighting) and photo booth. Here are our biggest takeaways:
Detail-oriented: We were blown away from Barr’s backend system, which allowed us to find and track our favorite songs, list out our dedication songs and bridal party entrances, and so on. His organization level left us feeling secure and, what’s more, insanely excited for the big day.
Willing to work with us: We had some specific ideas about how we wanted to do our first dance into a group dance set, followed by group photos on the dance floor. Barr explored different options with us, really hearing our vision. Day-of, he communicated so well with our venue coordinator and photography to make our ideas come to life — it was as if they had been working together forever.
Creates and manages the vibe: “You had the best DJ!” We’ve heard that comment quite a lot in the past three months — and we agree! DJ Barr knew exactly how to read our crowd and keep the vibe going throughout our reception. For a week or so after, my husband and I would say, “Oh! Do you remember he played X song that was our favorite?” It was a testament to Barr that he managed to get all of our favorite songs in.
Terrific products: Our photo booth was amazing! There was an attendant who managed it, allowing guests to not only print out photos for themselves, but put extra copies into a guest book, which they signed and Barr gave to us at the end of the night. The next day, Barr emailed us a link to the digital copies, which we sent out to our friends. His DJ products (booth, uplighting) were likewise just terrific and perfect in the space.

We were introduced to DJ Barr at a friends wedding in 2018 and it was sensational from start to finish! A few years later another friend of ours got married and used them, and the feeling was just as fun! Bayardo knows how to get the party started and keep the party going, no matter the crowd. At our wedding, our dance floor was packed the entire night! All ages, wheelchairs and all, everyone was dancing and having a blast! He was recommended to me by my sister-in-law and I am so happy we booked with him. So if your looking for a DJ, look no further! The whole team was fantastic and so great to work with. I was super worried that a lot of guests wouldn’t get up to dance since most of my family doesn’t dance, but honestly I had a full dance floor the entire night! The music choices were perfect, you couldn’t resist dancing even if you wanted too! All my requests were played! He executed my ceremony music perfectly! (I had 5 different songs played just for walking down the aisle). Even after my wedding, people were raving about how great the music was. The glow sticks made it just that much more fun! I also did the photo booth which was awesome because they make you a book with the photos that people can sigh for you! It was so nice to be able to look at the photos the next day! The quality of the photos was also superb and so many fun accessories for the pictures. My package included 4 sparklers, dance floor lighting, ceremony and cocktail hour music! -

Amazing!!!!
DJ Barr absolutely killed it! We had our wedding at The Madison Hotel on 10/1/22.
The mixes and progression of songs he selected as we moved through the night was spot on. He started off the night by playing Staying Alive by The Bee Gees and fading into a Staying Alive mash up with 50 Cent. Everyone was up on their feet from the start! The dance floor was packed all night. We had multiple people come up to us and rave about the music!
On top of that, DJ Barr is super nice and easy going. We met with him virtually during the planning process and he was so down to earth and chill. The online portal was easy to use and his prices are very reasonable. We can’t recommend him enough! -

We would need more than 3500 words to explain how INCREDIBLE DJ Barr is!! He kept the party going from start to finish, was always available to talk if needed, never left us questioning how something would work, was incredibly accommodating to changes that needed to be made due to my (bride) father being ill, we can go on and on. If you’re a type A bride like I am, you know the stress in trying to find the best vendors out of thousands of options. The MOMENT I met with Bayardo, I canceled all other inquiries with other potential DJ’s and booked the same day. If you are planning a wedding, stop looking for a DJ and book Barr Entertainment TODAY! We booked Barr and his team for our Hudson Valley wedding this weekend. He exceeded every single one of our expectations and was such a big contributor to making our day a dream come true!
Let me start with saying, Barr and his team are true hospitably professionals. Each of our encounters were helpful, genuine and exciting! He ensured he knew our personalities, our crowd, our families background and that shined through in the showcase of his work.
We booked his DJ service, lighting, photo booth & LED robot. There was a part of the evening that we had all 110 guest on the dance floor jumping around with the robot. It was so much fun and our guest cannot stop talking about it.
The team checked in on us multiple times through the night. We were lucky to have many great vendors but Barr Entertainment was second to none! -

I cannot say enough about how great Barr Entertainment was for our wedding! We had to reschedule our initial wedding due to the pandemic and Bayardo made sure to work with us to set up our new date. The whole planning process was smooth and he has an online system to pick our songs.
Bayardo and his whole team were absolutely professional and phenomenal.
I cannot even start with the photo booth! Our guests loved the photo booth and I’m so happy to get a online album and a hard copy!
During our wedding they made sure to keep the guests on the dance floor. The whole wedding was an absolute blast and everyone is still talking about it!!

Phenomenal
I had the pleasure of working with Barr entertainment for my wedding. The entire process before the wedding, as well as the day of was smooth, professional & a LOT of fun. He truly listened to everything I had to say & all of my requests. I was so beyond satisfied, that I couldn’t even tell you if anything was missing, that’s how wonderful it turned out. I got a lot of compliments from my guests on my playlist & that shows his ability to adapt to my style & target the vibe that I was looking for as well as feed off of the vibe of my guests. I come from a family of DJ’s & dancers, needless to say I was super picky about my playlist. This was the only vendor I was focused on & he did not disappoint. The dancing on the clouds was breathtaking.
I HIGHLY recommend Barr Entertainment for any of your events. I almost want to throw another event just because & this is the DJ I will come to!!! He has this customer forever. Fantastic job & he truly made my wedding night one to remember. Excellent excellent excellent!!! -

Dj Barr is the BEST!
Barr Entertainment was hands down the best vendor at my wedding. DJ Barr was professional and responsive throughout practically the 2 years of working with him (COVID bride here). On my big day, he had EVERYONE on the dancefloor. Guests are still raving about the music selection. He provided the best music and a great selection of props for the photo booth for such a great price. -

We booked DJ Barr back in 2019 for our July 2020 wedding - unfortunately COVID forced us to postpone, and DJ Barr was totally understanding and flexible allowing us to move to our new date in 2021 at no extra cost.
Everything for our new date went super smooth - at our final meeting we told him we wanted our own custom monogram for the photo booth that we were able to send him no problem. We also told him we wanted to do something unconventional and transition from our first dance song into a Drake dance set for our guests to join in on, and he pulled it off perfectly. The night of was a blast - all of my guests kept saying their legs were so tired afterwards because the DJ kept them dancing the entire night long.
If you are looking to have a great time with an upbeat DJ that knows each audience and can keep the dance floor packed all night long, I can't recommend DJ Barr and the Barr Entertainment crew enough. Thank you for making my wedding night a night my wife and I and all of our guests will never forget. -

Barr is absolutely amazing! We were originally supposed to get married in march, but then COVID happened…. We were forced to move our wedding to July but, that didn’t happen either. We ended up deciding to move to October and to down scale our wedding to meet covid restrictions. Barr was incredibly understanding and accommodating during the entire process. He was in constant communication with us, helped us juggle dates, and over all just gave us a peace of mind. Once the wedding day came everything was absolutely perfect. He checked in with us, motivated our guest to dance, and made sure to meet the venue's covid restrictions. There is not one bad thing we could say about Barr. If it wasn't for Barr, our wedding might not have happened this year. Thank you guys everything you did. Our Wedding night was absolutely magical. -

DJ Barr was PHENOMENAL! My husband and I danced THE ENTIRE NIGHT, we didn’t even sit down to have dinner lol. DJ Barr exceeded my expectations. Barr really made our night even more to remember. Our guest and us were having so much fun dancing that we almost forgot about the other things you do at a wedding (cut the cake, bouquet/garter toss,, etc.). We loved his song choices and our guests loved it too! Bayardo was very professional during the planning process & days leading up to our wedding. He brought glow sticks to pass around during the reception when everyone was dancing - which everyone enjoyed! We will definitely recommend to our family & friends. -

DJ Barr & his team were absolutely amazing at our wedding! Barr was super helpful throughout the planning process and was quick to answer any of our questions. The day of, they were even more awesome! They were able to quickly set up all of their equipment, even during a time crunch. The ceremony music was beautiful, they played the songs we wanted and the volume and sound were perfect! Cocktail hour music was also exactly what we wanted and the volume was perfect so people were still able to chat and enjoy the food.
Now for the reception, that is where I can say our party truly started (and we partied HARD). Barr and his team was so amazing, from the parents & bridal party introductions to the speeches, first dances, cake cutting, etc., everything was exactly what we wanted. Barr threw in a few fun games as well to get our guests up on the dance floor and really enjoying themselves. They played the best dance music and so many of our guests are still telling me that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to (which of course I love to hear)! Everyone knows that the food and the DJ are the two most important parts that make or break a wedding, and I truly cannot recommend Bare Entertainment enough! They made our wedding dreams come true and I am so thankful we had them there to celebrate with us! Love love love!! -

We can not say enough about how amazing DJ Barr and Barr Entertainment were at our wedding. From the first conversation to the last minutes of our reception, Barr Entertainment was so incredibly professional, organized, encouraging and so fun! He worked with us every step of the way, and we communicated very often. They were able to provide the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and every song choice was so great. EVERYONE at our wedding told me that DJ Barr was by far the best dj they had ever seen at a wedding and they didn’t stop dancing for a minute! The energy is the room was crazy! Barr Entertainment kept the party going!
We had a late wedding and feared that people would leave early. Dancing is one of our favorite parts of weddings in general and we wanted to make sure we were dancing until the last song. Barr Entertainment made that happen. They got EVERYONE up on the dance floor! The whole wedding was dancing and having a great time! We had fun sing-alongs on the dance floor and at one point a lot of us had foam, light-up sticks they passed around and we waved them in the air which added to the fun. They chose all the right music for the moment and utilized our suggestions in the right places. We also hired them for uplighting and it really transformed our space! The mood of the ceremony space was romantic while the reception space got some fun colored lighting that went along with the songs playing! My sister-in-law sung a song during the ceremony and they made sure to coordinate with her before the wedding to get the right version. We also really appreciated that Bayardo met with us before the wedding to confirm he had all the right versions of the songs we wanted and go over all of our wedding details.
They had such great energy and we were so pleased. If you want to keep the party going and have a great time, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BARR ENTERTAINMENT!! Seriously, a top-notch wedding planning decision! -

Barr rocks. Plain and simple! A total professional, his performance was above and beyond what we expected. We had some guests at our wedding that aren't typically open to dancing, but Barr had the entire room up on their feet having a blast the entire night. Barr provides you with a really good online portal to help you prep for the wedding. You can write in your event details including the timeline, guest counts, events during the night (like the first dance, cake cutting, etc.), and also space to add your preferred song list. It was very easy to use, and before the wedding you get a chance to meet with him to go through all of the details. Working with Barr was the most fun part of the wedding prep, and hands down he made the wedding night an absolutely party! Don't bother looking for someone else - hire Barr! You will not regret it... Our guests absolutely loved the party and we will recommend Barr to all of our friends. Thank you, Barr, for a really really fun night! You were such a big part of why our wedding was so much fun! -

DJ Barr exceeded every single expectation we had for our wedding. He had every guest (4 years old - 85 years old) on the dance floor having the time of their life. He played the music we requested and changed the songs fast enough that no one was bored. DJ Barr also had several fun games that none of our guests had heard about. DJ Barr was fantastic for our wedding. He was extremely easy to work with leading up to the wedding and has a great system for communicating with him.
I was impressed with how much he heard and understood what we wanted for our music. We had multiple friends and family indicate to us that the dancing and music was one of their favorite parts of the wedding. My wife and I personally danced for several hours straight and had a ton of fun.
