Best venue for a wedding, this was the first and only venue I saw and booked right away. This place needs no decorations, it’s absolutely beautiful as it is!!! Highly recommend, the price is reasonable, my husband is a first responder and they do offer a discount which was great!
I loved working with the team, everyone is so professional and very quick to reply to any questions and concerns.
Planning a wedding can be stressful but thank you Barn South for the reassurance, professionalism, and communication, everything turned out PERFECT the day off! -

Our dream day
Having Barn South as our venue was a dream! Absolutely beautiful and best day ever. We couldn’t imagine spending our wedding anywhere else. Our family along with ourselves were amazed with the intimacy and beauty of the area! -

We had my daughter's wedding at Barn South in May. From our initial visit to the grand exit, the Barn South team was professional and did everything they could to make the day as special as possible. Communication was top notch. Both Rachel and Beth were available for whatever questions we had. They were incredibly flexible as we worked with changing weather at the last minute. The venue is beautiful and versatile. We highly recommend Barn South. -

We had our wedding at Barn South this past weekend and our experience with this venue has been nothing short of amazing from our first point of contact until today. The staff is incredible (thank you for everything Rachel and Beth!) and our friends and family RAVED about how beautiful and comfortable the venue is. The outdoor space was such a hit, and the inside is jaw-dropping. I would highly recommend Barn South and its incredible team! We could not be happier with how our weekend went! -

We so appreciate how hard they worked and how smoothly everything went on our wedding day. They have their system down to make the planning easy for us and yet make it unique to our needs. Since I am a wedding photographer, having a venue where I could get beautiful photos was a huge priority to me. Barn South was the most BEAUTIFUL place for our wedding!! On top of how stunning it was, the amenities are great, and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout my planning process. They responded so quickly and never made me feel silly sending them stressed bride emails in the weeks leading up to the wedding! I could not recommend getting married at Barn South more! -

Barn South is a fantastic venue. Despite its country charm, it is conveniently located within an hour of both Athens and Atlanta. The barn and surrounding landscape/accommodations are strategically situated for a smooth event, but what makes this place great is the personal touch Rachel and the Barn South crew put into your day. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and servant-like mindset are aspects that made our day so special. The venue is beautifully designed and this is to ensure that each couple can tailor their wedding to their style. I will never forget our day at Barn South... it was so incredibly special. When I started my venue search I had a set style in mind. Barn South was a new venue and I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it but let me tell you what. Rachel sold me from the minute we walked in those beautiful barn doors. She made it clear she was interested in me and my husband as a couple and our story. She didn't need to sell us on her venue because it sells itself. The area is gorgeous and simply perfect. Our entire planning process was nothing but easy. Rachel and her team made my planning process seamless all the way up until the day of our wedding. On the wedding day, Rachel was there the minute I got there and stayed until the very end. I had so many people in my wedding party tell me how amazing and helpful Rachel and her team were.
If you can't tell, I'd recommend Barn South to just about anyone looking to get married in this style venue... and even if you aren't, they might just surprise you. -

Amazing Venue
Barn South was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding. We called the barn a “Joanna Gaines barn.” It is absolutely stunning. We loved the barn doors from the first moment we toured the facility, but when they open and your daughter is standing there with her dad it is breathtaking! My husband and I can't say enough good things about Barn South! To start, the space is BEAUTIFUL! Rachel and her team were incredibly kind, great at communicating with us and overall made the planning process so easy. The day of, we were given plenty of time at the venue and get ready, set up and enjoy our day! We were able to take the stunning space and make it our own, and it fit our wedding vision perfectly. Barnsouth is a beautiful, breathtaking venue. When my husband & I were looking for a venue, we did not envision a barn. BUT BARNSOUTH QUICKLY CHANGED OUR MIND! From Rachel’s professionalism to touring the place (before it was even finished), we knew we had to have our wedding there. When contacting Barnsouth, Rachel was very responsive, friendly, and prompt. When we toured, we felt welcomed. We were greeted with smiles, a personal welcome board, & drinks. (Talk about above and beyond and how thoughtful!) Throughout our whole process (especially with Covid), they were flexible and handled everything with professionalism and kept us up to date. Barnsouth was the perfect venue for us in size, cost, and aesthetically pleasing. The venue is well designed and decorated. It doesn’t need much because it’s already so beautiful! I’m all about that sleek, modern, chic look. On walk thru day, Beth handled everything with my coordinators and made sure to answer any questions we had. On rehearsal day, they had everything ready for us. On the day of wedding, Beth & Rachel were both so responsive and helpful! They did not let me stress at all. I am so happy my husband and I found this beautiful venue, owned by sweet people, to have our wedding at. You will not be disappointed with Barnsouth! Barn South is a gorgeous venue with professional and friendly staff! As you can tell from the pictures, the barn is very stylish and modern and my wife fell in love with it when she first found it online. The owner, Rachel, is very friendly and accommodating! They make the booking process super easy with an online contract and an online payment portal to make payments toward your balance.
I, myself, am a wedding DJ and I had never heard of this venue before. My wife and I met with Rachel at the venue and toured the property. We were in love with everything except, as a DJ, I was concerned about the echo in the room with the high ceilings. Rachel and her team assembled four really good looking sound absorption panels in time for our wedding! These things are massive, but Barn South made them look so elegant! We're so thankful for the extra care they put into them!
The layout of Barn South is AWESOME! Everything is all in one place and very spacious. As a wedding DJ, I have seen lots of weddings that aren't as fun because there are too many different rooms and things going on. Barn South allows you to have everything all in one place and it makes the party that much better! For instance, our ceremony was right outside the barn and then cocktail hour took place inside and outside the barn. There was very little traveling for the older people to do and no shuttling needed. Everything was all right there!
For dinner, my wife had a vision of having farm tables and everyone sitting at these long tables. Well, Barn South has plenty of farm tables and could handle this request with ease! We submitted our floor plan to Rachel and all the tables and chairs were set up for the ceremony and reception before we arrived! That was so nice to have!
The airstream was a really nice touch for the groomsmen to get ready in :-) Very unique. The bridal suite was also gorgeous for the ladies to get ready in.
For accommodations, we stayed at the brand new La Quinta Braselton and it worked out perfectly! It's only 10 minutes away from Barn South and the rooms were great and affordable (with a wedding group rate). La Quinta will even do a shuttle service to Barn South if you schedule it in advance!
Last thing...we loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors for everything! We had Tex's Tacos Food Truck for dinner and Fizzy ATL (a 3-wheeled Italian beverage cart) for our bartending service. Barn South had plenty of room for both and everything worked out great!

Rachel at Barn South went above and beyond for our day. She answered my a million of my questions and was so kind through out our entire time with barn south! The venue has so much room with the most beautiful aesthetic and tables and chairs. The bridal suite was amazing while getting ready and the grooms suite is so unique. I can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you Rachel and barn south for making our day so special and go so smoothly. I would highly recommend Barn South! Barn South was AMAZING! We got married during COVID and the owners Rachel and her husband were more than supportive! They were by our side through the whole process! Every person that was able to attend had nothing but positive comments to say about the Venue and staff! The Barn is absolutely gorgeous and you will have the most amazing photos! The sunset behind the barn makes for a perfect picture! Their faith and professionalism make for such a relaxing experience! You WILL BE MISSING OUT if you do not have your Wedding at Barn South! -

Absolutely fantastic!
Barn south was the first venue my husband and I looked at and we were sold. Their vision for this came to life this year as the finished building all of it and I am honored I got to have my special day here. A huge thanks to their awesome hospitality and beautiful property. The barn south family is so lovely. Just go look at the venue and you will be sold!

My husband and I got married at Barn South in March 2023, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue! The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The venue has a lot of versatility when it comes to the style and size of your wedding. There are outdoor and indoor ceremony options, and they provided a circle, cross, and octagon backdrop for the ceremony at no charge. You will need to find all other vendors outside of this venue. They do provide preferred vendors, but they do not have their own caterer, florist, DJ, etc. It is not an all-inclusive venue, which was fine for us because we had vendors of our own that we wanted to use. They have an amazing bridal suite, and the guys get ready in a renovated airstream (so cool!). -

The team at Barn South is wonderful, responding quickly to email and providing abundant information that helped greatly in setting up a lovely wedding day! My now husband and I were looking for a venue to host an indoor winter wedding that felt timeless and classic. We were drawn to the clean lines, tall ceilings, and large windows that let light stream in beautifully for our 4 pm ceremony.
