Absolutely Spectacular...

Where do I even begin? Hiring Jodie was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very start, she exceeded all expectations and truly became an essential part of our wedding journey.

We booked Jodie a year in advance as our “month-of coordinator” for our 177-guest wedding at Lighthouse Sound, and she went above and beyond from day one. She took the time to really get to know us and understand our vision, asking thoughtful questions and making sure every detail was accounted for.
Jodie was prompt, responsive, and incredibly organized — which was exactly what we needed. If you're on the fence about hiring her, consider this your sign to do it! You will not regret it. She is absolutely worth every penny.

Our wedding day flowed seamlessly, and that was entirely thanks to Jodie’s meticulous planning and flawless execution. We are beyond grateful for everything she did to make our day so special. Thank you, Jodie!

Barefoot Beach Bride was the best option I ever chose. It’s stress free because all you have to do is fill out some information online and they set your dream wedding up for you. As a bride who had a very emotional day as it is not having my dad to walk me down the aisle, they couldn’t of made it more like a dream. I know it was the type of wedding my dad would’ve always dreamt I had. The set up and organization was on point. If you had any questions they always answered right away. I cannot say enough about Barefoot Beach Bride, Jodie and her staff!! They went above and beyond completely exceeding my expectations! They are so easy to work with and made this whole experience a breeze! I wish this night could have lasted FOREVER!! Zac and I had the best time of our entire life, this was the wedding of my dreams! I recommend Barefoot Beach Bride to ANYONE wanting to get married on the beach. I’m still speechless. They are with you every step of the way and make everything absolutely incredible. The food was unbelievable, the decor was amazing, the bare tenders, the DJ our photographer was out of this world! Our guests had an amazing time, we danced and drank all night and everything was so smooth. We keep getting calls from our guests expressing how much fun and beautiful our wedding was and it is all thanks to Jodie and her staff!

BarefootBeachBride/Jodie Noonan produced my Dream Wedding.
I am pretty picky and have high expectations, and Jodie came through with flying colors. Everybody said our wedding was the most magical, romantic, and stunningly beautiful wedding they had ever attended. I had another planner early on, and had to opt out because I didn't feel comfortable with her lack of enthusiasm, and not writing down everything I told her I wanted in my Custom wedding. Fortunately I found Jodie, and was so delighted the first planner hadn't worked out. The major thing that separates Jodie from other wedding planners are THE BEAUTIFUL GLORIOUS FLOWERS!! they set the mood, magical and romantic, her lovely draped arbor, and Head Table backdrop were stunning focal points. Jodie is also very personable, always greet you with a smile and hug, very professional--our Rehearsal was handled with clear directions, so the day of the wedding went off with flying colors. BarefootBeachBride prices are not any more pricey than others, but the end product is so much more SUPERIOR! I CAN'T RECOMMEND JODIE ENOUGH IF YOU WANT THE BEST !!

Professional, personable, and just an overall joy to work with.

When we were looking to plan a wedding in Ocean City, MD while living in Kansas City, MO we were looking to hire an officiant service that provided a packaged wedding service to help ease the stress of planning a wedding. When we came to Ocean City, MD we were scheduled to meet 2 officiant services. The first wedding officiant we met was sarcastic, insulting, and insisted on adding additional decorative pieces that we never wanted and came with a hefty price. Our second officiant service was the Barefoot Beach Bride. When we met Jodie and her assistant we knew we were in good hands. We told them we were just looking to have a simple beach ceremony with an arbor and a few chairs for the elderly to sit in and they did just that. We were never pressured to add decorative pieces and we were even allowed to bring some of our own wedding signs to set up. When our June wedding had to be cancelled due to COVID Jodie was not only quick to work with us she was also very accommodating with our rescheduled wedding in October. Jodie also provided us with a wonderful baker and made all the arrangements. My family and I thought the cake was elegant and delicious. Jodie it was an absolute joy working with you and your staff. Thanks for creating the wedding of our dreams with the greatest view imaginable.

Jodie & her team were amazing down to every last detail. You can tell she really loves what she does! Our wedding was perfect, decor was gorgeous. Our wedding was on August 10, 2018 behind the Princess Bayside Hotel. Everything was spectacular. The staff along with Jodie were incredible. Thank you so much for giving us the wedding of our dreams! It was truly beautiful and just absolutely perfect. The food was delicious! The whole process was stress free which allowed us to enjoy our whole wedding. We highly recommend Jodie for your dream wedding as well!

I was very happy with Barefoot beach bride. My wedding was beautiful and everything went according to plan. Jodie answered all of my many questions and was very professional. Everyone raved about Maria's cake and the DJ was great. I loved my bouquet and the flower hair comb I ordered and was very pleased with the OC 360's catering. The food was great and everyone had a great time. The only thing that may have been better was to make sure to ask the bride and groom ahead of time what specific tables and how many children at each table get chicken fingers. There was some confusion as to what children got them, as the servers went up to tables and just asked who got them. Children over 5 were consequently given the chicken fingers and then they did not have enough. However, the OC 360 staff were very accommodating and immediately made more. Also, there were some children over 5 that would not eat was is on the buffet so maybe have the chicken fingers available to anyone under 10 or so? Other than that everything was absolutely wonderful and my wedding was amazing!

Barefoot Beach Bride made our dreams come true. They handled everything seamlessly and were so accommodating. The wedding flowed and was a huge success. We have such wonderful memories from our wedding day and I cannot thank them enough for all of the hard work, dedication and support they gave us throughout the process!!! I had the best wedding ever. Jodie and her crew were professional and just as sweet as can be. I loved the fact that she wasn't pushy and try to up service to tack on a bunch of charges. She had a clear vision of what I wanted and made it happen. I had so many compliments on my ceremony and had a friend request Jodie for an out of state wedding. My day was amazing. We just married on June 1st, 2018, I couldn’t have asked for more! Jodie and her team were amazing. Since the day I hired her she always answerered all my questions promptly, on the day of she put my husband and I’s nerves to rest. We even had a thunderstorm at the time our guest were arriving (about 15 minutes before it was suppose to start) and she called me to discuss what was going to happen next. I can not say enough about the wonderful job Jodie’s team and Jodie did. Everything ran super smooth...I will recommend her to everyone!

I highly recommend using Jodie and Barefoot Beach Bride. My husband and I wanted to get married on the beach but wanted something a little more secluded. Jodie was wonderful arranging a short boat ride over to Assateague for the ceremony. Everything was beautiful. Jodie did an incredible job of officiating the wedding! Our guests loved the setting and decor and we could not have been happier with how our day turned out. It can be unnerving planning everything online or over the phone but Jodie was so helpful during the whole process that it was as stress-free as it possibly could have been. It was everything we had hoped for it to be!

I got married April 1st in Ocean City and it was beautiful! Weather wasn't the warmest but thats to be expected, just happy there was no rain. Jodie made this process so easy and simple, I was certainly looking for a stress-free wedding and this was made possible. Jodie made sure my day was wonderful, I didn't have to do much but show up! My wedding didn't put us in debt and left us feeling happy and relieved. I have absolutely no complaints, the service and quality of everything was exceptional to say the least. I would recommend to anyone!

From the first phone call with Jodie, I didn't have a worry in the world. Even though I live in PA and wasn't able to visit in person until the weekend of my wedding, Jodie explained everything in detail and took my worries away. When I had questions, she was extremely attentive.
Barefoot Beach Bride website was easy to use and I had many choices for the ceremony and vows. Oh yes, the vows were beautiful and perfect. She captured our lives with the words.
The week of my wedding Jodie contacted me to go over all the details...again I had no stress or worries because she was on top of everything. I chose the bare basics for my wedding elopement ceremony but it turned out to be the best selection of all the choices available. Simplistic and beautiful.
I chose a photographer as well and he was wonderful and attentive to what I wanted. We married in mid Sept and he was very mindful of the sunset times and worked with me on making sure we had plenty of time for pictures.
All in all, our wedding day was amazing and unforgettable. I highly recommend Jodie and Barefoot Beach Bride if you want a beautiful, worry-free wedding.

Jodie and her team gave us the wedding of our dreams. Decisions were easy to make yet still completely what we had in mind. We didn't want a "cookie-cutter" wedding, we wanted it to be unique, us, filled of love and of course on the beach. They made our classic, simple, rustic beach wedding amazing. The venue was perfectly us and our guests raved about the food and service. Everyone loves the cake and noticed all the small details Jodie out into our wedding. Couldn't thank you all enough!

I would definitely choose Barefoot Bride. They were so pleasant and a pleasure to work with! They made our vow renewal very special and a day to remember forever!!!! We had a very positive experience. Our ceremony was the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and it was storming all day Saturday from Hermine. Jodie kept good contact and was so flexible with offering to adjust the time so that we could be outdoors. The night before we called it quits because it looked like the storm wasn't letting up. Jodie called and ultimately had me make the decision and offered to take pictures on the beach later in the week. The morning of we woke up to a perfect sunrise with clear skies. Jodie let us move it back to the beach and all in time for a 9AM wedding. Our day was perfect and I honestly felt that Jodie really cared about our day. She did everything she could to keep us happy and she was one of the few people that through all of the stress I never felt frustrated with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)

I was referred to Jodie by a friend who had nothing but great thing's to say about her wedding experience with Barefoot Beach Bride. I decided last minute to ditch my old wedding plan's to get married on the beach! Jodie took care of everything and kept us updated on all the details. I wasn't stressed at all like i was previously trying to do everything on my own. It was an beautiful wedding, i couldn't have asked for more. Our Photographer Kyle did an amazing job as well! Jodie and her team at Barefoot Beach Bride are just simply amazing! I would highly recommend any one to utilize them for your wedding! I can honestly say that we NEVER had to worry about even one little thing because Jodie and her team took care of every little detail and anything that popped up! Their designs are beautiful, stunning and will make your special day very memorable! For our wedding we wanted to still have a cake tasting and wanted to meet with Jodie in person a few times to go over everything (that was easy for us to do because we LOVE any moment we get to travel to OC and we live in Silver Spring MD so OC is not that far from us). Jodie was so awesome and made the cake tasting and meetings with her happen any time that worked best for us! We were impressed since many of her clients do everything over the web because her beautiful packages are so easy to select for your big day, but it was super cool that Jodie worked with us to customize anything we wanted to. This team made our special day breathtaking and beautiful! All of our guests and any one that sees photos of our wedding can't stop raving about how beautiful it was to this day! You would be crazy to not use Jodie and Barefoot Beach Bride for your special day! Trust me, you will be very, very happy you did use Jodie and her wonderful team!

Planning a wedding is so involved and unfortunately stressful. Jodie took all that stress away from us and made it so wonderful. I loved all the choices she gave us, the assistance from the marriage license all the way to introducing us as husband and wife. We were overjoyed with the wonderful wedding on the beach, the beautiful decor supplied by Barefoot Beach Bride and all the coordination needed to pull off a great day. Wow! I've seen photos of beautiful beach weddings but the vision Jodie created for our backyard barn wedding was simply stunning. There wasn't a single spot she didn't have a detail for. From the driveway entrance, the barn, the aisle, the chairs, the altar, the tent, table arrangements, our bouquets every details was better than the next. She asked me for a pinterest board of likes and made 1 visit to the location....how that information could transform into the spectacular presentation amazes me. The day was simply perfection and every details was due to Jodie's staff and attention. It was a fairy tale beyond my expectations my biggest advice to brides would be TRUST her.

Jodie was amazing!! It actually rained all day the day of our wedding so we ended up having it inside but Jodie made our wedding just as wonderful as ever. She outdid herself trying to make up for the fact that we couldn't have it outside but we cannot control Mother Nature. Our wedding was more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed of. I would recommend Barefood Beach Bride to any couple looking to get married. She and her staff are excellent at their job!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Jodie and her team. We had a very unusual problem and they took charge and handled everything. They went over and beyond and really care about you and your needs as well as the needs of your guests. everything was beautiful and I did not have to lift a finger. It is unusual to find an event coordinator /venue that really cares about you and makes your experience as stress free as possible. I would personally recommend Jodie and the barefoot beach bride team to anyone wanting a beach side or bayside wedding in Ocean city or any of their other locations. Jodie and the crew from Barefoot Bride met and exceeded my expectations for my beach wedding. From the beginning Jodie was on top of her game. Everything went off without any problems. The decorations and set up were beautiful. Jodie's performance as an officiant was perfect. I chose to bring my own photographer and they were very respectful to her and worked with her to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted. They were very patient with us while we took our pictures with our family after the ceremony was over. I am so glad we hired them and I would absolutely recommend their services for anyone looking to have the perfect beach wedding.

Jodi was fast to answer my inquiry. Very professional through the entire process. She took care of the entire planning of the ceremony. I live in another state so that was huge. My fiance and I were about 4 hours away from the beach we wanted to get married on, ocean city maryland, so my mom started the search for an inclusive wedding officiant to take care of everything for us. Barefoot Beach Bride is fabulous! From the moment we decided on a date until the moment of the I do's, Jodi was great, responsive and receptive to even the subtle changes we made several weeks prior to the ceremony. She incorporated our special colors / theme, which was a nice touch during bike weekend. We could not have asked for a more perfect day.
The cake was amazing and exceeded my expectations on both design and flavor. The photographer was very accommodating and knew that we wanted to have photos on the bayside before the sunset, she made sure that we stayed on schedule and even transported us to bayside for the photos, just in time as well.

Jodie went went well above and beyond normal expectations. We had to change the date at the last minute, and then needed a new photographer. Everything went absolutely great. She was friendly and extremely helpful.

NOTE: Future couples should be aware of the procedure and location for obtaining the license (we went to City Hall - wrong!)

Jodie and her staff were amazing! We live out of state and they took care of everything that needed to be done without having to meet us. She kept in constant contact with us through email and the phone during the different steps in the planning stages. She went above and beyond in executing the perfect day even with inclement weather. My wedding was planned for 6 pm and rain was in the forecast. Jodie managed to pull our wedding off early so we could still get married on the beach! They are truly amaxing! Barefoot beach bride made my wedding unforgettable, I had minimal stress as everything was planned it was easy I just picked decor and showed up dressed! My wedding was on the morning of 08.19.2017 at the 139th Street beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Jodie and her assistant were amazing! I'm from New York and decided on a destination wedding to cut down on the stress that can come with planning. Jodie was amazing to work with! Her website allows you to really see what kind of set up you'll be having and envision your wedding day perfectly! I have to admit, not having a traditional rehearsal the night before put me on edge, I was nervous about not practicing, but Jodie and her assistant made sure my morning beach ceremony carried on perfectly and spoke to the bridal party before the ceremony began. I would definitely recommend them to any Bride looking to have a beautiful wedding.

Barefoot Beach wedding..took my money during covid.

Not impressed, everything was scheduled and paid for, a family member passed away from covid and had to cancel, my love and myself tryed to reschedule and we could not.asked for a refund and I was told no,all they would do was reschedule and due to my career I could not give a exact date, after explaining this to management I was still told no refund.NOT IMPRESSED...unsure of exact date.

Do not recommend if you are Disabled, rely on a Service Dog, or are a Veteran

We came from out of state for a scheduled appointment. Jodie would not allow us in the building. Both of us have disabilities and my partner is a veteran. We rely on a multipurpose service dog. We were denied service and entry because of our service animal. The most distressing part was when Jodie stated she did not care about the ADA she wasn't letting us in and that we could go report her.
