Barbora was absolutely incredible to work with. She knew how to make us feel comfortable, she knew how to get us to relax and she understood exactly what we were looking for.
From the moment we first met her for our engagement photos, she was engaging, funny, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. She took us all around Washington DC and made sure we got some amazing shots.
On our wedding day she was perfect. She got all of the shots that we wanted, was super incredible with all of our family and friends, and was an amazing part of the day. It would be funny, we would be laughing and she would feed off our energy and smile too.
We recently got our wedding photos back and they are stunning. We are blown away with the job that she did and can't thank her enough.

Barbora was such a pleasure to work with, I'd never had any professional photography done and she was really good at directing us and helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day, she was so quick and totally on top of things, it was an absolute seamless experience and our photos turned out SO good I can't stop looking through them and smiling. She really went with the flow but provided good direction to a lot of people (who really needed it!). Very grateful to her and her assistant who just really did such a lovely job. -

I had the pleasure of working with Barbora Jones Photography last month at Dominion Valley Country Club, and I can’t say enough about how fantastic she was! As a wedding DJ, I collaborate with vendors all the time, and she stood out as one of the best. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and easygoing nature made the day seamless and stress-free. She coordinated effortlessly with me and the other vendors, ensuring we were all on the same page to capture every moment perfectly. She had a great energy, and she blended into the event while still getting stunning shots. Title says it all. Barbora took beautiful pictures for our June wedding. Leading up to the wedding, all of our communications with her was very professional and prompt. When it came to the wedding, she made everything feel very natural and comfortable, no pose felt force. We got our sneak peek photos within a week and the pictures turned out amazing! I’m glad she was a part of our special day. -

Barbora was amazing to work with!! She helped arrange our timeline, gave recommendations and guidance along the whole way and was great with communicating during our year of planning. Unfortunately, the night before our wedding she became sick but she immediately had replacement photographers for us! She still did all of our editing and the turn around time was incredible! We are so happy we picked her to work with! -

Barbora´s approach to our wedding day was very professional and sensitive from the first moment we asked her to take photos there. She was so emphatic and patient. She gave us a lot of inspiration and pieces of advice on how to make our big day even better than we planned. Also my and Claire´s parents appreciated her work a lot. She caught the moments of emotions, pride, beauty, and happiness closely, although we didn´t mention her presence there during the ceremony. Her photos of our party were also remarkable. We just had our engagement shoot with Barbora, and the photos turned out incredible!!! She picked a great spot for the shoot (we're new to the area so leaned on her for recommendations) and used it so creatively to craft a variety of amazing shots. She gave super clear instructions to us for where to stand, what to do with our hands, etc. (which I greatly appreciated because I am not a natural when it comes to posing for photos)! She was super friendly and fun to spend the hour with. And she had our photos edited and sent to us in just two days!!! Such a great experience so far - can't wait to have Barbora photograph our wedding in October! -

We loved working with Barbora during our June wedding! She fully engaged herself in our wedding to make sure she captured not only the beautiful venues, ceremony and reception, but our special moments. They tell you it's often hard to keep track of time during your wedding as everything goes by so fast, but Barbora helped me so much in making sure to help guide us along the events of the day. She was considerate in including our guests and special decor within our memories. She was engaging with us and made us feel supported. Aside from her beautiful art, she was professional and responsive. We knew we had nothing to worry about because she made us feel at ease. Her pictures came out soft and light, reflecting the classic and elegant feeling we were going for. A definite yes for us, highly recommend! -

My fiancé and I were unsure which photographer to choose for our engagement/wedding pictures but we are convinced Barbora is the best in the DC area. She is literally everything you want in a photographer. She is so friendly, responds promptly, offers great direction during shoots, and obviously takes gorgeous pictures! My fiancé and I had our engagement pics taken by her at the national portrait gallery in DC and we went to get dinner right afterwards. We weren't even done with dinner and she had already sent us many of the pictures from that day's shoot! She sent us the remainder of the pictures the very next day with editing and everything! If you want breathtakingly gorgeous photos delivered to you extremely quickly (I know I do) and to work with a super sweet and professional photographer, I highly recommend Barbora. I am going to recommend her to all my friends! -

We recently got married in March 2022 in Glenview Mansion, MD. Wedding planning during a pandemic was quite difficult but the easiest and best decision I made was to hire Barbora as my wedding photographer! I knew that I wanted my photos to capture the love and joy between my husband and I and our family and friends on the wedding day. I also envisioned a natural look that showcased the beauty of the setting and all of the special details I put such hard work into choosing. We typically hate getting our photo taken but all of our anxieties about the day-of vanished once we had our amazing engagement photo shoot with Barbora. We will cherish the memories and the photos forever! I hope I am lucky enough to have another opportunity to work with Barbora in the future! -

Barbora is one amazing photographer, she photographed our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. She literally worked non-stop, stayed a little longer to ensure she captured the entirety of the day. I had to remind her to go eat because she was so into what she is doing that she didn't bother to. The final results were amazing, she listened to what I wanted and delivered so much more. She is a master in taking organic pictures that highlight the moment. I can't wait to schedule other photoshoots with her.
