John and Lindsey Bamber are Outstanding in everything they do!! They not only took the time to meet with us, talk to us and get to know us personally, but they also got to know our family and friends and captured amazing photographs of our rehearsal dinner and wedding! Outstanding

John and Lindsey were so wonderful to work with - we feel so blessed we chose them to capture our special day. It was clear they were naturals at what they do and they made us feel so comfortable and at ease while capturing the photos. We stayed on our timeline and ended up with photos that will bring us memories for a lifetime. We got our pictures back quickly which allowed us to relive our wedding while we were still riding the high from the weekend. I would recommend them for not only your wedding but any events that weekend or in the future you want to capture! Thank you to the Bambers for everything you did for us for our wedding!

Bamber Exceeded All Expectations!

Working with John and Lindsey was a wonderful experience from day one. They are both very professional and truly great at their jobs. They made us feel so relaxed and made the entire photography process really fun, especially for two people who are not used to being in front of the camera. Our engagement photos and wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend Bamber to any bride or groom looking for quality photos that will last a lifetime. Bamber was fully engaged throughout the entire wedding planning process, it wasn't as if we booked them and then didn't interact again until the wedding day, and they sent little tips, tricks, and treats along the way, which made our experience even sweeter. Having Bamber as our photographer was one of the best things about our wedding day and I wish we could do it all over again!

Highly recommend

The Bambers did a wonderful job with our engagement, rehearsal, and wedding photos. They made posing for photos comfortable and easy. The also captured all the special moments, taking photos of everything from the wedding invitation suite to intimate glances to hilarious dancers at the reception. The Bambers are 100% worth it; and I would book them again in a heartbeat.

Bamber Photography is an amazing team—they have the ability to capture incredible pictures in any setting.

Our engagement photos and wedding photos are something that my husband and I WILL NEVER regret spending money on—simply because Bamber Photography is exceptional at what they do. Not only do they go above and beyond to capture some incredible moments, but they also show you genuine kindness and patience in every way possible. If you want a calm, cool, collected and talented couple to be your wedding photographers, the Bambers are a must. Our wedding photos came out better than we could have ever imagined, and more importantly they created a great experience for us on our wedding day. They are trustworthy, caring, and insanely talented, and we going with the Bambers was one of the best decisions we made related to our wedding.

The Bambers are nothing short of THE BEST! Michael and I loved working with John and Lindsey for our engagement and wedding photos! They are both so creative and fun to work with. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work! It is truly a family affair as my sister hired them for her wedding as well almost 8 years ago. Can't wait for them to join us for our little sisters wedding one day! Thank you, Bambers!

John and Lindsey were absolutely wonderful!! They were laid back and easy to work with but also very professional and kept us on track the day of the wedding. And their work is absolutely gorgeous no matter the setting. We would recommend them to anyone!! Remember the photos are the one think you'll have to remember a day that goes by so fast. John and Lindsey Bamber photographed both of sisters' weddings and now my own! The Bambers are the absolute BEST--- they are able to capture the excitement and emotion of the day so beautifully. Below are a few of the many reasons why our family has loved Bamber Photography:
1. Very Responsive- John and Lindsey were quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the entire process. They communicated timeframes effectively (i.e. when they would be present for pictures, when the album would be ready, etc). Even more so, we did not have to wait long for photos. Lindsey sent us a sneak peek, surprising us with a slideshow, while we were on our honeymoon! And, upon our return, we had wedding pictures to review!
2. Super Organized- Before the big day, I completed a survey to answer questions about family portraits, the number of people in the bridal party, where the events were to be held, etc. The picture taking was easy! They checked in several times to ensure we got the pictures we wanted and kept us on schedule!
3. Professionalism- They are genuine people and make you feel relaxed and comfortable as you are taking pictures!
4. Talented- You will have MANY favorites to choose from!

I cannot say enough about how much we LOVED Lindsey and John!!!!! They were wonderful to work with! They were soooo accommodating, worked well with ALL the family, guests, and especially the children (3 flower girls and a ring bearer!) The pictures they took will live on forever, helping us remember what a magical day this wedding was. We even received a slide show set to amazing music that really captured the magic of this special day (I didn't even realize we were going to receive this!!)

When it came time to planning our wedding, I really only cared about one thing - our photographers! I knew I wanted to use John and Lindsey after they photographed my best friend's wedding so I was thrilled when they were willing to come to Virginia to photograph our wedding! They were so helpful and responsive throughout the months leading up to the wedding and I loved that they go above and beyond, answering all your questions and even took the time to help me create the wedding day plan to ensure that everything was timed perfectly. I was at a dinner over Christmas and even though our wedding was months ago, our family was still talking about our photographers and how impressive it was that they memorized every family member's name and made them feel so comfortable. They have an amazing way of putting you at ease in front of the camera and of course it goes without saying that we absolutely loved all our photos!! Both Lindsey and John bring a unique view of your wedding through the camera lens and when you put them together, you will have an amazing story of your wedding in photographs for years to come! Truly we can't say enough things about this amazing couple, their gift for photography, and what a blessing they were on our wedding day!

The Bambers were so wonderful to work with! We were both a little nervous about pictures, but they made the process so fun and natural. They were very professional, but also very personable and kept us laughing throughout the day. In addition to their great personalities, they are also wonderful at what they do. I cannot recommend Bamber Photography highly enough! We planned our wedding from out of town, and the Bambers went out of their way to accommodate us and to keep us informed throughout the process. They made sure to make our photos unique and personal to our wants and needs, and they captured every special moment to help us keep reliving our wedding day. John and Lindsey work really well as a team to keep picture taking a seamless part of the day. Awesome pictures and personal touches (like learning the names of our immediate families/bridal party, sending us on our honeymoon with polaroids of the wedding, and handwritten notes with prints from the wedding) make Bamber Photography stand out from the rest. Do yourself a favor and just hire them!

My husband and I cannot begin to express how thankful and amazed we were by Lindsey and John!! From our engagement photos to the reception departure, these two are TOP NOTCH!! You will LOVE every picture with these two - they are amazing. Our guests couldn't stop telling us how great our photographers were, and then to to see the pictures...better than we could have ever imagined! We were so fortunate to find Lindsey and John after terminating our contract with our first photographer...I had been having concerns with the lack of responsiveness and quality of what i was seeing online (or lack thereof), and I knew instantly after talking to Lindsey and securing them for our wedding that we had made the right decision. These two are an amazing couple who will put you at ease all along the way. You can feel the love with them and you will LOVE your pictures.

They're pictures are gorgeous (as you'll see on their website and blog). Just as important is how they make you and your guests feel on your wedding day. You will actually spend a lot of time with your photographers on your big day. The Bambers made me feel so at ease and comfortable (and made all the picture taking fun!), and our guests were continually coming up to us telling us how great the photographers are. This is worth the money!

I'm not sure there are words to express how truly wonderful Bamber Photography was. My husband and I, my family, and our friends cannot stop talking about how amazing of a job they did capturing the whole wedding weekend for us with such talent and artistry. John and Lindsay are a real couple (husband and wife,) but they are ALSO a couple of freaking geniuses.
Let's get down to the details: using Bamber means you get John and Lindsay shooting your wedding together. We had John shoot our rehearsal dinner as well as our engagement shots, and the two of them were there on the wedding day shooting both gorgeous portraits and posed photos as well as really stunning candids. The girls had a blast with Lindsay getting ready the morning of, and the groomsmen felt the same about John. They were so incredibly calm and kind, and somehow managed to remember everyone's name!
My parents could not believe how many amazing photos came out of the day. We left the shooting to them (ie. did not feel the need to micro-manage them to death) and let them use their experience and artistry to take the best shots, and we are SO glad we did. They got the perfect blend of wedding details (decorations, flowers, etc.,) portraits of family and us, candids, and "action shots" (the ones of our friends and family breaking it DOWN dancing are amazing.) The used mostly natural light, which looks incredibly, and flash when necessary later on in the evening. Trusting their art and vision gave us the most amazing and happy memories of our wedding events.
Genuinely cannot recommend them enough. We couldn't have asked for better.

John and Lindsay are awesome! They are so fun to work with and just so down to earth. I was not worried at all about the photos and they captured more than I ever could think of. I had been in and attended several weddings they photographed so when my friends recommended them it was a no brainer. They were so laid back and professional at the same time. They really added an ease to the wedding day and prep. They were quick to reply with any email questions I had, any suggestions, and turn around on proofs were awesome!
Would HIGHLY recommend them! I want do have my wedding day all over again so I could work with them again!

John and Lindsey Bamber are TOP SHELF when it comes to photography of any kind. We elected to have them as our Wedding Photographers. Payton and I would have not chose any other photographer. I have known both of them for years and not only are their photographs great, they are tremendous individuals as well. They got to know our entire wedding party and really took the time to make the experience personal. I would recommend them to anyone. I worked in the wedding business as a DJ/Emcee for 6 years and spend time with numerous other photographers, none of which were the caliber of John and Lindsey. They were always my first choice, even before I was engaged. Go with Bamber and you will not be disappointed!

The Bambers were incredibly easy to work with. From our engagement session to the wedding day, they were friendly and attentive. During the ceremony I didn't even know they were there, but somehow they captured amazing shots. I was impressed in how they were able to photograph the liveliness of our reception. John and Lindsey Bamber are very talented and a joy to work with! My oldest sister was married 12/29/14 and chose Bamber Photography as her photographer. The Bambers were absolutely wonderful and captured great moments! After my husband and I set our wedding time frame, I contacted the Bambers- I couldn't imagine have my wedding without them! I was touched by their excitement and enjoyed getting to know them more through the engagement photo session and through wedding collaborations. On our wedding day, the Bambers again impressed me with their abilities and professionalism. They made the bridal party and our family feel comfortable and relaxed while taking pictures for hours (...and learned everyone’s name). I also had a very long list of the pictures I wanted captured and they got them ALL and worked with our church constraints. I could not be more pleased with the Bambers or their work! I will cherish our photo for many, many years!

We are so happy we chose Bamber Photography for our wedding! Both Lindsey & John were as sweet as could be we couldn't have asked for nicer photographers! My two daughters were married within six weeks of each other in the year of 2013. One daughter had a beautiful barn wedding and wedding reception at Walnut Hill Farm on May 11 and the other daughter had a beautiful wedding at Patten Chapel with a wedding reception at the Mill on June 29 . Bamber Photography came highly recommended by my nephew whose wedding was May 2012. With all that said, John and Lindsey are not only fabulous photographers, but wonderful people who seem to understand just the look we were looking for. As mother of the bride x two, I felt relaxed the minute they arrived. They have a genuine understanding of their clients as well as the venues in which they are photographing. John and Lindsey had a great working relationship with all of our wedding venues Walnut Hill, Patten Chapel, The Mill, as well as with Impressions Catering, Silverware Affair Catering, and Humphrey 's flowers. The Bambers are highly respected! Our pictures are beautiful and all of us were amazed that they were able to capture the perfect shots. This mother of the bride x two can highly recommend Bamber Photography; they do not disappoint. Great weddings and great memories captured through great pictures!

John and Lindsey are both wonderful - wonderful photographers and wonderful people. They were both incredibly friendly and so helpful. They went above and beyond the role of photographers and really got to know my husband and me. It was easy to relax around them and be ourselves in front of the camera. Photography was one of my wedding priorities as they are some of the only lasting memories from our wedding day, so I wanted the best, and Bamber did not disappoint. John made an effort to drive to our reception site prior to the event so that I could have some photos of the setup before guests arrived. The photographs of the entire day are beautiful. I love every single one.

INCREDIBLE photographers!! Wonderful couple to work with. Our photos are beyond beautiful!! John & Lindsey are so professional, know their stuff, make you feel great while shooting, have TONS of great ideas, and try to actually get to know you before your big day to make sure they capture the "real" couple, and so much more....I recommend them to anyone for wedding photographers- splurge on them, I did!! It is TOTALLY worth it. They were everywhere and captured our day perfectly without me having to worry about "did I get a photo with this person? etc." Bamber Photography produces work that you see in the magazines- just check out their Facebook page and blog. I love the Bamber family! I have 4 other sisters and when we all got married, we knew who to choose! They are precious people and amazing photographers! I always had a great time with them and felt so comfortable! I tell everyone I know to go to Bamber Photography!

John and Lindsey were wonderful to work with. They were extremely professional and personable, which is important on such a special day. I was completely blown away when they arrived at the venue knowing everyones name in the wedding party. They were very prepared and our pictures turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Looking back on our pictures, I am so thankful we were able to have John and Lindsey photograph our special day! The price was well worth it for the quality of the pictures and the photographers!! John + Lindsey are the PERFECT team! John is extremely artistic, a perfectionist, loves what he does AND wants YOU to love your pictures just as much. Lindsey is organized, logistical, a fantastic photographer, and extremely relatable - she'll be your best friend by the end of the day! John + Lindsey are professionals in every sense of the word. Although its obvious they have shot many many many weddings - 10 years' worth! - they know that your wedding is your one and only and they treat it as such. From the exciting beginning of planning my wedding, the day itself that went so smooth thanks to the Bambers, and the end result (the most stunning pictures I've ever seen), I couldn't be more thrilled with John + Lindsey. I just love John & Lindsey. I am still so grateful that they were available for our wedding. All of my bridal party and even the guests thought they were terrific and so easy going. Several thought they were good friends of ours :) Plus, in just the few shots I have seen from our day i couldn't be more pleased. They captured each moment with love and care. And on top of it all their enthusiasm throughout the whole day made us all feel upbeat and at ease- even my groom! fromt he first email to now, they have conducted themselves with utmost professionalism and I knew we were in good hands. All you have at the end of the day are the photos and ours are terrific!! If you can book them- DO!

Bamber Photography is the BEST photographer! They go out of their way to get to know their brides and grooms so that they develop a relationship before the wedding day! They are also very easy to work with and flexible. When we did our engagement session, which was the hottest day in 2011, John endured the heat! Our wedding photos were phenomenal and everyone absolutely loves them! They are wonderful at capturing the day and all the little moments that you want to remember!

If you found the Bambers, you found the best!!! They were so amazing, I cannot even tell you. They made everyone feel perfectly at ease in front of the camera and captured some amazing moments. They even learned every single person's name in the wedding party (which was no small feat with 11 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen). I had so many guests comment on how wonderful they were and what a pleasure they were to be around.

And the pictures.....WOW!!!! I love them all. There were so many unique shots and wonderful moments so perfectly captured. You will be so happy you chose them for your wedding, they absolutely will not disappoint. I did not worry one bit about how my pictures would turn out because I knew they were in excellent hands. You will be so pleased with their work. I just cannot say enough good things about them.

Our families and especially our bride were thrilled with Bamber Photography. The spontaneous photos were great as well as the posed. The lighting and creativity were special. They gave good advice and spent a whole lot of time achieving their goals. They were very patient and and had a calming effect on our bride at a very intense time in her life. I would highly recommend Bamber Photography for any bride planning her wedding!

The photos were beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. Every time I look at my wedding photos, I am so thankful that we were able to have John as our photographer. My wedding was amazing, everything I dreamed of and more! I spent countless hours planning and organizing, wanting everything to be perfect, and, except for a few minor hiccups, it was. All too soon, though, it was over. Now, all that is left of that wonderful day, besides the memories, are the pictures.
Choosing Bamber Photography was one of the best, and most important, decisions I made concerning my wedding. The pictures they take are truly works of art (which will soon be gracing my walls!). The Bamber's are extremely nice and were a complete delight to work with! My parents initially thought we should look for a photographer that was a little less pricey, since the cost was about 1/4 of my budget, but I wouldn't hear of it. After the wedding, they both agreed wholeheartedly that Bamber was the right choice. My dad even teared up when he looked at the slideshow of the wedding.
So just take a look at their work, you're sure to be amazed. Don't settle for less in your choice of a photographer, you'll thank yourself (like i do!) everytime you look at your pictures...I'm so glad I chose Bamber!

John and Lindsey did an amazing job at our wedding- so much so that I can still remember it almost 4 years later! They were wonderful to work with before, during, and after our wedding day. My husband and I loved all the posed pictures, but also the more candid and natural shots that they were able to get of us, our family, and friends. They are very professional, the photographs are gorgeous (and even a few years later still help us relive our special day), and their service is outstanding.

Bamber Photography did an amazing job capturing every moment starting with our engagement pictures taken at our farm. They were easy to work with and made both of us very comfortable, as we don't typically get in front of the camera very often. The briday session was spectacular as John Bamber was very artistic with his shots and was flexible in the location I chose. The best of all, however, was our wedding day. They made sure every special moment was documented and went above and beyond their duties and expectations. I would and have recommended Bamber Photography to every bride I come in contact with.

John and Lindsey Bamber are the absolute best! In all my husband and I had three sessions, engagement, bridal and our entire wedding day, and I could not be more pleased with their beautiful work.
They took the time to get to know the two of us, there by making us relaxed, open, and excited for each photo session. Their pictures captured every emotion on our big day perfectly. Each time I look at the pictures I am able to relive that day.
A wedding day passes in the blink of an eye and it is difficult to take it all in. John and Lindsey's pictures have allowed us to see that day from every angle and even see things that we missed.
Our families, bridal party, church officials and guests loved them! They are both friendly, funny, easy to work with and can get the good shots quickly, allowing you to get back to the
party.
Like I said at the beginning, they are the best!

Bamber photography was worth every single penny. I did thorough research when looking for a photographer, and every time I found myself comparing everyone to Bamber. They could moments that happened in a split second and you can really see the emotion in all of their photos. Lindsey and John are calm, and you don't have to be worried that they will miss important moments of your special day. They make you feel at ease and they know exactly what they are doing. I have received raving reviews from my friends and family about my photos. My parents were skeptical at first because they are very traditional, but once the photos came back they were ecstatic! I couldn't have asked for a better duo of photographers. From start to finish, engagement session, to wedding day they are top of the line! I recommend them without hesitation!

The Bambers did an amazing job with our wedding and engagement pictures. Everything turned out beautifully and we couldn't be more pleased. We did have some difficulty getting a hold of them at times but overall they did a great job.
