We cannot recommend Baker's Man/Mark Brickman's cake enough for a wedding! We used him not only for our wedding cake, but also used his amazing talents for the groom's cake. Mark was very communicative throughout the whole process. The cakes have so much flavor and are works of art. The cake was moist and the filling was divine! We loved mixing and matching the different flavors of cake and icing. Mark and his wife were a lot of fun to work with in making our dreams come true! We truly enjoyed the cake tasting process. He went to great lengths to share his pallet in mixing and matching all of the options for cake flavors and fillings. In the end, everything was delicious which made it difficult to make our final decisions.

A fabulous Halloween Treat for our Welcome Party
Bakers Man created a unique Halloween/NOLA inspired grooms cake for our Halloween themed welcome party. (Which was a surprise for my husband!) The artistry and attention to detail was amazing. The lemon/raspberry filled cake was fantastic, and it happened to be gluten free as well. Everyone raved about the taste! Mark was a pleasure to collaborate with, and I would highly recommend using him for any occasion where you need something truly special.

They are amazing!
Working with The Baker’s Man was one of the best parts of our wedding planning experience. He created the most beautiful wedding cake, along with a custom groomsmen cake that perfectly combined my husband’s favorite things — golf, Alabama football, and vintage cars. The attention to detail was unbelievable — they even made the groom driving the vintage car as the cake topper!
From start to finish, they were an absolute joy to work with. They listened to every idea I had and truly brought my vision to life. Not only were the cakes stunning to look at, but they tasted amazing too. We received so many compliments from our guests, especially about the groom’s cake with the salted caramel toffee filling — it was a huge hit!
If you’re looking for someone who’s creative, professional, and passionate about their craft, I can’t recommend The Baker’s Man enough. They went above and beyond to make our day so special!

Unusual display cake
Mark, Katrina and the entire pastry team at the Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta were very professional. The display cake and real cake were both beautiful and delicious. We had an unusual display cake - 3 tier, with a "suitcase" as the bottom, photos of our travels in the middle and sunset safari on the top, with a hot-air balloon topper. The real cake had raspberry and strawberry filling with Grand Marnier liquor - yum!

The perfect cake
Baker’s Man helped give me the cake of my dreams for my wedding! I wanted a cute, small heart shaped cake and it couldn’t have been better! It was exactly like I wanted and was absolutely delicious (strawberry marble with key lime curd buttercream). We loved Baker's Man!
We loved our process with Baker's Man. The cake was the most important part of the night for me (big dessert gal!). So I had high standards, and Mark DELIVERED. The whole process was fun from the start. We showed up to the tasting and had so many fun flavors to try and taste, and then Mark worked with us to mix and match to make our perfect cake. Then on the wedding day, it SHOWED UP and it was beautiful, and more importantly, delicious! All of our guests loved it too. Can't wait to have our anniversary topper in a year. :)

Look no further. Mark is a master baker and passionate about his cakes. Baker's Man is unlike all the other cookie cutter cake companies with sales people and secondhand knowledge. When you walk into Mark's studio, he has a beautiful tasting set up in a private room and walks you through all the options. The Cake Of Her Dreams
On September 2023 my daughter's wedding cake was delivered on time as promised! My cousin recommended the Baker's Man to do the cake. I am so glad I listened to her suggestion and called Mark. He set up our tasting appointment right away. My daughter brought two pictures as examples of her vision. He listened carefully to my daughter's vision for her dream wedding cake and made it come true. The cake was not only beautiful but every layer had delicious flavors. The cake was amazing and looked like it came out of a magazine. Our guests are still talking about my daughter's wedding cake. There was only a little left and we were so happy to have a few slices to enjoy the next day! Mark also created a groom cake with special touches for the groom which made it so memorable for him. It was like another gift from the bride.
Don't hesitate to use the Baker's Man. Mark was respectful, thoughtful, and creative. You will not be disappointed in his work.

Amazing Cake and Excellent Service
Bakers’ Man helped make my wedding cake dreams come true!! Cannot recommend them enough. From the very start, Mark was able to see my vision of what I wanted in the design. I shared several inspiration photos I had found online and Mark provided me clear cut descriptions and quotes of what I could expect to pay for each one. When I got around to choosing one, he was able to replicate it nearly identically for a reasonable and very fair price.
When it came to choosing a flavor for our wedding cake, I could not have been more lost at the beginning but Mark made this as easy as possible for us. He offered us a sample box of his most popular cake and filling flavor combinations for a reasonable price that helped us settle on our favorite. As far as taste goes - this cake is the best I have ever had. I mean that quite literally! The menu of both cake and filling flavor options was extensive and I can’t imagine anyone not being able to find something they love that will be perfect for their day.
All things considered - Baker’s Man is an amazing choice for your wedding cake (or any cake you need, really!) and I highly recommend them!

If you are looking for the best custom wedding cake designer, Mark and his team are who you want. Delicious Wedding Cake!
Mark was one of the easiest vendors to work with! We had a tasting with them in September (wedding in April) and from the first bite, I knew Baker's Man was the right choice. He made enough cake so my mom and then fiancé could try some! Cake tasting was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning and Mark made it so fun! He has kept all of his wedding cake records for the last 20 years - so people can reach out to him for anniversary cakes and he knows exactly what cake flavors they had years before! What a neat idea! Both the wedding cake and the groom's cake were incredibly delicious and the guests just raved about how beautiful and tasty BOTH cakes were! My now husband went to Purdue in Indiana and he hadn't heard of a second cake at a wedding, but when he heard it was traditionally chocolate - he was all for it. 10/10 would highly recommend Mark and Baker's Man.

Mark COMPLETELY EXCEEDED our expectations!!! For my Nigerian traditional marriage, he was tasked with baking a specialty cake that included some specific Nigerian cultural details. We were initially concerned that an American wouldn't be able to execute on the cultural detail, but boy we were wrong. We showed him a photo, and Mark executed to PERFECTION! To say we were impressed was an understatement. He was SPOT-ON with all the details. The cake was beautiful, and also DELICIOUS! He got us the size we wanted while keeping us at an affordable budget. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Mark the past two years due to COVID wedding postponements.
I am gluten free due to a positive celiac marker, and always assumed I wouldn’t have a fun cake tasting experience. Luckily for me, Mark’s cakes are fabulous either way! We were able to try so many flavors, and worked with him to design a cake with our dog on it. He understood and executed our version perfectly.. in fact, even better than I anticipated. I will definitely be returning for our anniversary cake, and will recommend his services to everyone I know.

A Favorite Vendor & PERFECT Cake!!
Selecting Mark as our cake vendor for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Mark pours his creativity into his cake flavor profiles and design of his cakes. We wanted something simple for our design (we went with a heavy spackled buttercream design with floral arrangements from our florist), but had a lot of fun working with Mark on multiple mix-n-match cake flavors and fillings for our tiers. Two of our tiers had almond cake as the first and third cake layers with chocolate marble cake as the middle layer and two different fillings - raspberry buttercream and Oreo buttercream filling - ALL in the same tier!! This was my first pick. My fiance loved Mark's strawberry-infused marble with crushed pineapple buttercream filling - and we were able to make this combination happen too on the two other tiers! And the whole cake was covered by a THICK layer of Mark's incredible Swiss Vanilla buttercream (big icing fan here). Outside of the excellent product and extremely reasonable pricing, Mark was very easy to communicate with and prompt and thorough in his responses. Our cake tasting with him really sealed the deal! We could tell right away that we had found an authentic baker and wonderful professional. THANK YOU MARK!

The most impressive cake i've ever seen!
The groom's cake Mark made for our rehearsal dinner left everyone speechless! It looked like it came straight off of a tv show! It exceeded every expectation I had by miles! We loved it so much that we ended up saving it overnight so we could display and eat it during our wedding reception. Mark is so incredibly talented and I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a beautifully decorated, delicious cake!

Mark was so amazing. I seen his work on IG and immediately fell in love. He responses quickly which is always a plus. I'm not actually a cake person so I was unsure of what I wanted and when all the cakes at the tasting was so good it was difficult to decide. He was so patient with me, even when I changed the design and color of my cake about 3/4 times. I've always heard that fondant dries out cakes so I was just sure my cake would be dry but it wasn't. It was so moist and was just as good as it were during the tasting and it was beautiful. Just like the picture I sent as I changed the cake yet again. The best part is, he was not overpriced. He worked with you and gave you time for changes in guest count and design. He was just amazing to work with. I'll be using him for all other special occasions from now on.

Let him bake your cake!
Bakers man was the first and only bakery my husband and I visited. After having our tasting apportionment, we were sure enough that it’s the one. Mark provided us with a variety of flavors, each flavor tasted better than the other. We ended up selecting chocolate marble with oreo cookies and buttercream, and the other tier was a white chocolate cake with lemon curd buttercream that has raspberry marmalade & key lime curd buttercream( So delicious) his cake was that yummy that I couldn't resist and ate some of our anniversary topper the next day of our wedding :)
I showed Mark a picture of what I wanted, and man that cake was everything I asked for and more! It looked better than the picture I found on Pinterest. He also delivered it to our venue himself ON TIME! Even though the traffic was very bad on our wedding day to the point where most of our guests arrived late!! I definitely recommend getting your cake from his bakery especially if it's a special occasion! Thank you so much Mark, you were very friendly and professional.

Mark and his wife are AMAZING to work with and they not only create a work of art worthy of all of your wedding dreams, but it tastes so delicious that if you're like us, you'll reorder another cake from them for future parties! The cake tasting was friendly with great conversation. Mark truly tries to get to know the couple and learn about who they are. The sampling was very generous with various cake and buttercream flavors to try and it makes the decision really hard because they're all so good! In fact, we ended up using all 4 of our top 4 in our wedding cake and groom's table desserts because we just loved them all so much and wanted to share them with our friends and families. I had a very specific design that I had found on Pinterest and brought the picture with me. I told him how in love I was with the cake design and wanted it to look exactly like the picture. He said they'd never done one like that but looked forward to the challenge. And when it showed up on our wedding day, it DID NOT disappoint! The cake was GORGEOUS and looked just like I wanted. I still get comments from friends about how beautiful the cake was. Believe me, your every expectation from taste to design will be exceeded if you go with Baker's Man for your wedding cake! Most amazing cake & treats ever!!!
Wow I truly don’t know where to start!!! From the start Mark blew us away with his delicious cakes and treats and professionalism! We told him that we would like a wedding cake and some mini treats for our guests, when we went for our tasting he surprised us with having some mini treats available for us to taste along with the cake! The flavors were so good that we decided on a few flavors for our different tiers. I also decided to surprise my fiancé with a grooms cake which was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! My inspiration photo does not even compare to what Mark produced for us! Not only was my fiancé so surprised and blown away but I was too! It was better than what I asked for! And not to mention tasted AMAZING!! Our guests absolutely loved all the mini treats and of course the cake too! We hardly had any leftovers because everyone had multiple pieces! We couldn’t recommend him more!!! Can’t wait to use Baker’s Man for future events!

My daughter and now son in-law got married at the Country Club of the South this past weekend. Mark worked with them to make their dream cake for the special day. Halloween Wedding
Baker’s Man was our number one choice for our wedding cake. Our wedding was on October 31st; my wife and I wanted something with a Halloween theme but still elegant. A dream!
Mark was AMAZING!! He took the inspiration photos we gave him and ran with it to create a dream cake that took our breath away and make our taste buds sing all at the same time. July Wedding Reimagined due to COVID-19
I am writing a review, on behalf of my husband and me, for Baker's Man. We had to replan our desination wedding due to COVID-19. We planned a micro wedding at our home in Johns Creek, Ga. Baker's Man designed our beautiful and simply delicious wedding cake! Our guests loved the cake design and flavors and took slices home. Mark was responsive, professional and was fantastic to work with. He gets extra bonus points for being a New Yorker like my husband and me.

Mark was able to capture just what we were imagining for our big day! His cakes are wonderful we couldn’t even decide which flavor to get so we did 4 different ones! We are still hearing from guests how beautiful and tasty our wedding cake was. Mark really took the time to sit with us and bring our vision to life to create the perfect cake I had in mind. He tries to do something different for everyone so people don’t have the exact same cake. The flavors he offers are unique and designed to complement each other instead of overpowering. Each tier of our cake had two separate flavors that complimented each other. For instance, we had almond cake and key lime for one of the tiers. Absolutely delicious.

Everyone adored our delicious wedding cake made up of raspberry cake with crushed pineapple buttercream. It was heavenly as well as beautiful AND very reasonably priced. The cake was gorgeous, a huge hit and super yummy. He took what I wanted, my vision & used pictures I sent him, to give us exactly what we wanted. We barely had any cake left - which is a good thing! I'd recommend Mark to anyone!

I am a huge fan of Bakers man. This is our go to place whenever we need a cake. The cakes are always beautiful. Mark is very professional and organized. He is responsive and timely. This time I ordered a cake for my wedding. We did a tasting and Mark helped us choose unique flavors which all of our guests loved. We were able to incorporate my favorite flavors as well as my husband's favorite flavors. Our wedding planning was somewhat stressful and Bakersman was a vendor we did not have to worry about. The cake is beautiful, tastes amazing, and they are so organized. If you go with Bakersman, you will be satisfied. I am consistently satisfied for every birthday, celebration, and my wedding. I can't wait to go back to Bakersman and taste my wedding cake once again on our 1 year anniversary. Thank you Bakersman for making our wedding so memorable!

We made the mistake of doing our cake tasting with Mark first because after that any other cake tasting could not compare. He provided so many flavor options that it was so hard to decide because they were all delicious. The icing is what sold us. We are not a fan of fondant and wanted buttercream. The buttercream was so light and airy it was amazing. We loved that Mark incorporated multiple layers and fillings in each tier of the cake. Mark helped us decide on the amount of cake needed for our wedding. He helped us decide on the design of the bridal and the groom's cake (#mustangtheme). The groom's cake was a mustang tire and it was detailed all the way down to the actual thread. The cake was so good that my family wanted to take it home. All the guests raved about both the bridal and the groom's cake. For the bridal cake we selected the white chocolate and raspberry marble layers with key lime and mandarin orange fillings. The groom's cake was chocolate marble with Oreo filling.

Our wedding cake was an absolute dream come true!!! Breathtaking doesn't even begin to describe how beautiful it was. Mark is a cake genius. He not only executed the design that I gave him (which was inspired by several different cakes combined into one), but the flavor options he provided surpassed our expectations. We went with a delicious vanilla 3 layer cake with a layer of raspberry butter cream and a layer of lemon curd. DROOLING as I think about it. It was light, refreshing, and not terribly sweet. For our grooms cake, he created a traditional round cake with marble and OREO buttercream layers in between topped with chocolate ganache. It was a serious crowd pleaser, with not even a crumb left over. The cake was honestly the focal point of our reception. Our guests were amazed at our giant tower of a creation, covered in sweet little pearl drops of icing and bold cascading flowers. Mark, I can't begin to thank you and the Bakers Man team enough. You brought our dream to life, and we are so thankful.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark from Baker’s Man for my October 2017 wedding. Mark is definitely an established expert in his field and I would encourage everyone to look his way for their big day! He offers a wide variety of fillings, frostings, flavors, and designs. Mark had a lovely lookbook for us to gain ideas and was also very receptive to the photo examples we brought with us to our tasting.
On the day of our wedding, Mark delivered us the most delicious, and stunning cake, we ever could have imagined. I had a number of people tell me it was the best cake they have ever eaten! I look forward to our anniversary cake that's he's providing for no additional charge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience designing our cake and working through the process with Mark. If you are looking for a cake that looks AND tastes amazing---look no further!!!! As soon as I tried Mark's cake at the tasting there was absolutely no question that we would be hiring Baker's Man Inc. for our wedding. His cakes are absolutely delicious AND he makes the most incredible designs I have ever seen (Food Network worthy). He can literally make ANY vision come to life. We had a 'naked' cake for our wedding and it was one of the most talked about features of the night. I think I gained 5lbs just eating the leftovers--I couldn't stop!! 10 stars for Baker's Man!!

If you want a show stopping, unique wedding cake that everyone won’t be able to stop talking about, then Baker’s Man is the place for you. I didn’t want to go the traditional route for my wedding cake, and being an avid reader, I decided I wanted my cake to look like a weathered stack of my favorite classic novels. Baker’s Man delivered! No one realized my cake was a cake until we went to cut it and everyone’s jaw dropped. It was so realistic and exactly what I wanted. But it’s not just nice to look at, it was delicious too. The flavors were fresh and not boring and I received so much feedback on how tasty it was. Thanks for bringing my dream to life! Baker's Man recently created my daughter's wedding cake and the groom's cake. The wedding cake was so beautiful and the groom's cake was an exact replica of the Ole Miss Colonel Reb and was amazing! Both cakes were absolutely delicious! Believe me, you will not regret having Mark make your cake for your event.

We had planned to go on multiple cake tastings, but Mark at Baker's Man was our first and last--we were blown away by his incredible artistry and the utter deliciousness of his cakes. We settled on a presentation cake (decorated over a styrofoam core) with five different flavors of sheet cake that would be cut for our 200+ guests to choose from, ranging from red velvet to an unbelievably scrumptious white chocolate cake with toasted coconut creme filling. The cakes were incredibly moist and vividly flavored--the guests raved about them. What stole the show, though, was my groom's cake, which was an incredibly realistic (and anatomically correct!) torso of a patient undergoing surgery with the internal organs showing (I'm a transplant surgeon). There were tons of doctors in our wedding, and they (literally) ate it up! It was incredibly fun, and he was able to do it without making it gory. He is a true artist with fondant, and you definitely will not regret trusting him with the cake on your big day!

Mark did such an amazing job on our wedding cake and grooms cake! The grooms cake was a 3D airplane and it was absolute perfection- the detail and everything about the cake was top notch! Both of the cakes not only looked great, but they were also delicious! Mark also created a beautiful wedding cake topper for us with sugar flowers. I already have it in a dome on top of our mantel!!!! We will definitely recommend Mark to everyone we know, and my husband and I look forward to working with Mark again! Mark is the man to go to if you want an out-of-this world wedding cake or groom's cake! Mark created not only one, but two stunning cakes for our wedding.
The groom's cake was an incredible Gulfstream G650 airplane! Mark doesn't just create a cartoon airplane on top of a sheet cake like other bakers we had looked at. Mark really won my groom over when he created a 3-D to scale model of this private jet with a custom paint job, tail decal, and tail number. This cake was the talk of our reception.
He also created a beautiful 4-tiered cake that stood several feet tall for our wedding cake. It has hand decorated with beautiful gold dots and hand-made sugar flowers. Mark saw the pictures that I brought and understood my vision. He worked to create a wedding cake that was similar to the pictures, but still uniquely ours.
He was so easy to work with, and made our consultation so enjoyable! He helped us choose the best combinations of his amazing cakes, he was upfront and flexible with our budget, and he was easy to communicate with during the planning process. I would highly recommend anyone in the Atlanta area using Baker's Man as your wedding cake vendor if you want a cake that will not only be delicious, but will also be a piece of art at your reception.

Mark and his team did an outstanding job on my grooms cake. It was a Millennium Falcon cake to go along with our Star Wars themed wedding. I was blown away at the detail and quality of the cake. He said I looked like a kid coming down the stairs for Christmas! haha. I could not stop smiling and the guests could not stop raving about how amazingly details and life like the cake was! Mark is a cake design genius! Just look at his Facebook page of past designs. He was able to take ideas from several different cakes and turn it into a beautiful masterpiece for our wedding day. We received so many compliments on the unique cake flavor (lemon pound cake with white chocolate buttercream icing on the outside layers with a layer of marbleized strawberry pound cake with a layer of key lime meringue inside) and the beautiful design. Delivery, correspondence, and execution were easy and perfect. I will definitely be using Bakers Man Inc in the future for specialty cakes.

I went through 4 or 5 cake tastings until I found Baker's Man. It was by far the best tasting of all the appointments I had! At the end of the day, even if the design fell through, I wanted the taste to stand out the most. And it certainly did! The design turned out perfect and they were definitely willing to try out the unique design I had in mind. :) All of my guests complimented both the taste and the design all night and after! They were so nice and very responsive to any questions and concerns I had. I would definitely choose them if you're between two. I know I will definitely go back to them for other events. :)

Working with Mark at Baker's Man was great. We talked back and forth about what we were looking for and he gave great advice. The cake was beautiful and delicious - we had a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and a layer of a light lemon cream in the middle. I had our florist decorate the cake with fresh flowers.

From the detailed decorations to the multiple delicious complimentary flavors of each layer of cake, it's hard to put into words how PERFECT our Wedding cake and Groom's cake turned out! These cakes were more than we could have ever imagined! Mark and Becky were able to bring my ideas to life each layer at a time and added the "Bakers Man" touch to make each of our cakes over the top! Driving 8.5 hours all the way to Louisiana to be a part of our wedding day was above and beyond my expectations as a lifelong friend of Mark and Becky. As Baker's Man first employee 15 years ago, I asked him when I get married one day I would love for you to create my wedding cake, and WOW he sure did create show stoppers for all of us to talk about for a lifetime! And our personalized logo sugar cookies, for our favors, melted in your mouth and were a great hit and compliment to the wonderful treats at our wedding! Mark at Baker's Man did a PHENOMENAL job with our cakes. Our rehearsal dinner at the College Football Hall of Fame needed some awesome football cakes, and Mark and team delivered. There was a UGA helmet, an Alabama helmet and a full size field cake with the Bentley University logo in the middle (where the groom played in college)! The helmets looked so real, people questioned if they were cakes. Beyond the look, they were delicious. We just needed more guests to help us eat it all! There are no shortage of cake bakeries in metro Atlanta, especially for wedding cakes. It is one of the most important decisions you can make regardless of the occasion. I recommend Mark and his team at Baker's Man with the highest marks. Even if you have to drive a little ways, it is entirely worth it. He gets to you know you and the intent of the occasion/cake deeply, will collaborate with you and make expert suggestions until the design is exactly what you want, and then deliver the most delicious, exquisitely crafted cake you and your guests have ever enjoyed.
