Perfect for our wedding!

We absolutely loved working with Baked for our wedding. We wanted a relatively simple, unconventional cake, and their Italian rainbow cookie cake fit the bill perfectly. The team was fast, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with, and most importantly all of our guests raved over the desserts. I highly recommend!

Perfect for wedding dessert!

Delicious and beautiful!

We had our wedding cake made by Baked and it was a big hit! After tasting cakes from a few vendors, we picked Baked because it tasted far better than all the others. So many wedding cakes taste like their main goal is just to look pretty, but Baked’s cakes do both! We loved the variety of choices and settled on Passionfruit, which was inspired by a recent trip to St. Lucia. The cake was beautiful and it really worked well with our design and color vibe!

Absolutely delicious and great customer service!

Highly recommend working with Baked NYC for your wedding dessert needs! We had a fantastic time working with Annemarie and the team from the very beginning (and it was a long time due to multiple COVID delays!). Annemarie put us at ease during the tasting and throughout the rest of the process/ultimate wedding day delivery. There were so many wonderful flavors to choose from that we went with 4 cake flavors for our guests and got rave reviews on ALL of them! We also got Black and White cookies as favors for welcome drinks party, which we also fantastic. Thank you so much for the wonderful customer service and for being such a sweet part of our special day!

Equal parts gorgeous and delicious!

If you care about your cake, and want it to be equal parts gorgeous and delicious, choose Baked NYC. They came recommended to us from our vendor Brooklyn Winery, who was 100% on point with their recommendation. After our tasting with Annemarie, we were almost overwhelmed by the amount of delicious flavors to choose from. Ultimately, we decided to go with two -- the chocolate salted caramel and strawberry supreme -- both of which were equally incredible. I've been to so many weddings where the cake is an afterthought, and remains half-eaten on plates. That was NOT the case at my wedding. Guests were trying both flavors to compare, and telling me how much they enjoyed both. I will be going back to Baked as soon as I can for another slice of the chocolate salted caramel. It was so moist and had such a rich flavor, I can't even put it into words. Thank you Annemarie and all the staff at Baked NYC!

Baked Saved the Day

My husband's aunt was supposed to bake the cake for our wedding, until ~6 weeks before when she made the decision that coming was too risky (COVID). So with a short runway we had to find a solution, and of course, we hadn't budgeted for this! So I reached out to at least a dozen bakeries and am so happy I found Baked. They got us in for a tasting really quickly and were so nice. They not only didn't pressure us to upsell, but helped us talk through what it would look like and the cost savings to get 3 separate cakes and put them on pedestals instead of a stacked cake. I honestly couldn't believe it, I was so sure that since we had so little time we were going to be targets, and instead Baked swooped in, saved the day, and made the whole experience just lovely. And of course, the cake was delicious!

Absolutely delicious

Thank you Baked for our delicious cake and desserts!!! We could not have been happier and our guests were raving for weeks about how delicious it was! We had the a Vanilla Vanilla cake + a chocolate sheet cake so we had both flavors, 24 cupcakes (matcha almond and pistachio) and a NY style cheesecake. Everything was delicious!

Absolutely delicious and beautiful cakes

Baked was absolutely wonderful. We ended up doing a small three tiered cake and multiple round individual cakes to save on costs, but this also allowed us to get four different flavors! We got citrus passion for the main tiered cake, salted chocolate caramel, coconut, lemon for the supplementals. The cake was absolutely beautiful and they allowed our florists to decorate. The flavors are perfectly intense and each cake was incredibly moist. I would highly recommend getting your cake from Baked!

Loved our cake!

We ordered a 3 tier naked Aunt Sassy's Pistachio cake and a Little Angel sheet cake for our wedding last month and they were both delicious! Our guests devoured both cakes, and the presentation of the pistachio tiered cake was perfect.

All of our desserts from Baked were delicious! The tasting was great and the process so simple. We got a cake that fit us perfectly (slightly less traditional than average) that was fun and tasty! The Rice Krispie bars and sheet cake were a great added treat!

I lived in Brooklyn while in college and would visit Red Hook for one thing: Baked. This was pre-Ikea and there wasn’t really anything else there and this was many years before their Tribeca location. I remember sitting there with my (now) husband while we watched another couple have their cake tasting for their wedding. That was nearly 10 years ago and I knew exactly what I wanted to do for our wedding. The cake tasting was literally my dream come true and we had plenty to choose from. Our wedding was very far from NYC, but Baked arranged delivery to the middle of nowhere in Jersey. We booked 1 wedding cake, and had 5 supplemental cakes. I wanted my guests to see the beautiful arrangement of cakes that you would see when walking into Baked. Needless to say, the cakes were a hit. There’s nothing like sharing one of your very favorite things in the world with the people you love!

My wife and I used Baked for our wedding cake and party favors and we could not have been happier. I agree with the reviewer who said that the cupcakes were drier and not equivalent in flavor to the the wedding cake flavor, that their wedding cake was better. But the tasting is still great as you can let them know if you have a specific cake flavor that you want to try in advance and they'll accommodate you. they give you one slice of cake and then a bunch of cupcakes. Additionally you get shown a variety of cake designs (some included in the rate, some are an extra fee) that they have done. We wanted a chocolate+PB cake, so we chose their oopsy daisy flavor. For the party favors we chose the campfire cookie. We received praise on both. I have a friend who doesn't like peanut butter at all and he loved the cake. If you want a cake that has that fondant look where you can do elaborate designs of all sorts of shapes, but it tastes like someone threw sugar and robitussin into your mouth, this is not the choice for you. But if you're fine with a buttercream cake, they can still accomplish a lot with the cake and no one is going to be leaving the frosting to the side on their plates. They have a lot of options based on your budget and party size. They deliver and they're very responsive. Every time we made an adjustment to our order, they provided us an updated invoice. Highly recommend them!

There are brides who dream about their wedding cakes and earmark a large portion of their budget for them. That was not me.

After a few excruciating phone calls with a few bakers about “my vision” I wanted to barf sprinkles all over their stand mixers. I wanted a cake that tasted delicious, a design that was simple and playful, and something that wasn’t overly feminine (it’s not just my wedding - it’s my husband’s too). I love funfetti cake and had put a few rainbow cakes on my Pinterest board, and when my husband looked over my shoulder one day and said, “funfetti would be fun,” that was all the permission I needed.

We went for a tasting in their Red Hook location on a cold, sunny winter day, talked to the baker about their capabilities, their flavors, and tried a ton of different cupcakes - taking whatever we didn’t finish home, along with a little brownie gift! They were attentive and helpful about portion sizes, didn’t try to upsell (our venue provided donuts and cupcakes, so we didn’t want to go too nuts on the amount of cake). Our cake was adorable and perfect and there were no issues getting it there or keeping it intact. It was bigger than I imagined, and very reasonably priced compared to all the lah-dee-dah nonsense that had me cringing before. All our guests who had some said it was fantastic, and it looked great in photos.

A few months ago I saw the Baked cookbook at the Brooklyn Museum shop, and swooned over the thought of making our cake myself. For someone who wasn’t really into the wedding cake thing, I realized Baked had made me really into our cake. Thank you for being the exact baker we needed.

We used Baked as our main wedding cake for our wedding reception. Overall they did a great job and we would use them again in a second. The contact in the beginning was extremely prompt and detailed and we were able to effortlessly schedule a cake tasting,

A word on the cake tasting. This would be my ONLY critique but it in NO way would merit any reduction in my praise in them. The modality they use to provide samples is in cupcake form. You can try any flavor available and eat an excessive number of cupcakes if you'd like, this is all good. What I would warn any future tasters about is that the cupcakes tend to be a little more muted in flavor and a little dry compared to the wedding cake. We made our choices with confidence, but we were worried about if the cake would be a little on the dry side. Fortunately this was as far from the truth as possible as our wedding cake was moist and delicious and exploded with flavor that was otherwise a little muted in the cupcake (likely because the ganache or fruit filling is only existent in the center of the cupcake). Take away point: the tasting will undersell you on the quality of the finished product.

The presentation wedding cake was decorated beautiful and delicious, and the larger cake was also delicious as well. Our experience booking and going through the tasting was excellent. The cakes were delivered to the venue and were beautiful. The finished product tasted great. This was an excellent experience and I would use them again.

We chose baked for our dessert bar at our wedding and the only bad thing was that there was barley any dessert left over at the end of the wedding! I have a major sweet tooth so I wanted a whole bar of options. We chose a selection of bite sized desserts, apple pies and two cakes (a friend was making our ceremonial cutting cake). We went in to their Manhattan location for a tasting, it was cheap and there were four of us there and it was well worth the small tasting fee. They delivered on time and everything was just as good as we had tasted at the bakery. Everyone raved about the desserts, we'd highly recommend them!

Our cakes were amazing! I usually don't like wedding cake. I truly didn't even want cake to begin with, I was more interested in dessert options until we had our tasting at baked. I was sold instantly. Their bananas cake was such a hit! Along with their coffee cake, raspberry lemonade and the gluten free chocolate cake. The cakes were beautiful and made a wonderful display.

My wife and I reached out to Jordan at Baked after a friend recommended them because she loved the baked goods at their Brooklyn location. We immediately fell in love with Baked and Jordan was very good to us when we came in for a tasting. He was super responsive to all our requests and question up until the last minute. We had cupcakes as well as a small wedding cake and I loved that we were able to choose different flavors. Not only is the service at Baked incredible but the cupcakes and cake are amazing. Our guests loved the cupcakes and my wife and I loved the wintermint cake that had. Baked does a fantastic job and I was so happy to have their cupcakes at our wedding.

We taste-tested about 8 cake vendors in Manhattan and Brooklyn - we were focused on finding cakes that tasted really amazing - Baked was far and above the most delicious we tasted! We were thrilled with the flavors and all of the size / frosting / etc options available - and their service was top notch. We ordered our wedding cakes from here and decided on a table of a variety of flavors as opposed to the traditional stacked layer cake. The guests were thrilled with the variety and so impressed with the display. Each cake was incredibly unique and delicious. I am actually looking forward to our one year anniversary so we can eat the piece we froze (it really was that good). Oh, and go to the tasting... there are TOO MANY delicious cupcakes to try; bring some friends.

We have been devotees of Baked for years, and so when the time came to pick a vendor for the cake, we knew who to call. And right from the beginning our experience with Jordan, the events manager, couldn’t have been better. He organized a tasting at their Tribeca location where we were given a tray of one of every kind of cupcake they have so we could try all the flavors! Needless to say it was an incredible experience. We ended up ordering a small wedding cake along with a huge dessert spread of all kinds of cookies, bars, brownies, cupcakes to go along with it. We thought for sure that we had ordered way too much, and were going to end up with a ton of leftovers, but at the end of the night, there was barely anything left! We had a bit of almost everything at our wedding, and it was all ridiculously delicious. I’m so glad we went with Baked -- Jordan made everything simple and easy, and everything went off without a hitch, and tasted amazing. We only wish that we could get married again so we could have that tasting again!

Our experience with Baked was great. From the very fun tasting at the Tribeca location, where I think we tried 12-15 different flavors in cupcake form, to the wedding itself. We ordered 4 regular, non-tiered cakes, to maximize options and keep costs down. We continue to hear about how great they were. The cakes looked great and were delivered to our wedding in Park Slope with no issues. There was one mix up with flavors and one of our four cakes was not as ordered, but they were so good this issue was soon forgotten. Even so Baked of course removed the cake from our final cost. Will continue to use Baked for any of our future events.

For my wedding this past August, I opted to have cake table instead of a candy bar/table and ordered 7 cakes 6 inches each from Baked. The cakes were presented beautifully and according to my guests tasted absolutely delicious. The price was affordable and the delivery to the venue was seamless. This is one of Brooklyn's finest bakeries. PS. They have such cool names for their cakes.

We hired Baked to make our wedding cake and they were amazing! We had a small tiered cake and then other sheet cakes in different flavors so that guests would have a selection. Jordan, who handles special events, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is incredibly responsive and helpful and really puts you at ease when planning a stressful event like a wedding! We had our wedding cake from Baked and we do not regret it. The tasting at their store was incredible. They gave about 20 cupcakes to taste so that we could decide what flavors we wanted for our cakes. The price was affordable, the service was superb and the cake was delicious! Our favorites were *pistachio*, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and salted caramel. The cake looked simple but classic which what we wanted. I highly recommend Baked and look forward to going back to their shop to eat more cup cakes!!!!

Amazing Cakes! They were SO helpful is choosing a wedding cake. We met with Jordan who walked us through our options and found the most affordable one for us. We ended up choosing 4 smaller cakes instead of one large cake which allowed us to choose several flavors and same some money on one large cake. Everyone raved about them!

Baked is awesome. They made us a small cutting cake and several dozen cupcakes for our 110-person wedding in Manhattan. We chose four different flavors so our guests who pick from an assortment (or try a few!). They even tacked on a dozen vegan cupcakes to accommodate a few of our vegan and dairy-free guests. Delivery and everything went without a hitch and the cupcakes were fantastic. It was cool to get to share goodies from a local NYC bakery with our out-of-town guests, and our NY friends were excited to see BAKED on our menu!

Jordan and the whole team at Baked was awesome. We went to the storefront for a cupcake tasting while we were planning the wedding and were treated like royalty :-) Communication and planning everything was super easy. Jordan was really on top of it and made sure to touch base with us and confirm everything in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

Great experience. Can't wait to eat the rest of our cutting cake in the freezer. Thanks, Baked!

We loved our Baked wedding cake! The quality of cake is amazing (which we discovered during our ridiculously large cup cake / wedding cake tasting!) and there are a lot of flavors to choose from. I think they can do any style but it seems like their usual approach is modern, clean, colorful with a little bit of whimsy. If you are looking for massively gaudy, formal cakes - this might not be the place for you.

Jordan at Baked was easy to work with - very responsive and also really willing to work with our budget. They have some creative ways to make the cake look bigger than it is as well as offer up supplementary cakes so that everyone can eat but for a much lower per piece cost. Additionally they were able to match the colors of our wedding topper exactly, so when the cake actually appeared on the night of our wedding- we got some major props that its one of the best wedding cakes people have ever seen.

Baked was super convenient for us as we got married at Liberty Warehouse - but I'd recommend them for any weddings in the New York area.

We got our wedding cakes from BAKED in Red Hook. We were a little hesitant in the beginning because of the distance we had to travel to get there and were also concerned about the delivery to Alger House in Manhattan. But once we visited the bakery for the tasting, we were sold! The price was better than reasonable and the quality of the cupcakes at the tasting was the deciding factor. We had the pleasure of working with Jordan who was on top of everything. He was friendly, organized and enthusiastic about our ideas for the cakes and made many helpful suggestions along the way. We opted for 3 different cakes instead of a tiered cake in order to offer 3 different flavors! Jordan helped with an option of using fresh flowers (they have a relationship with a florist) and everything went smoothly. The cakes were delivered on time and safely at the venue and were decorated exactly as I designed them. All three cakes were delicious, and we received so many compliments on them! Most everyone tried all 3 flavors and the cakes were gone in no time. Thank you, BAKED!

If you are looking for a wedding cake bakery. Look no further. We were most excited about the cake tasting process and Baked did not let us down. You get to taste about 12 different flavors of cake and get to bring home what you don't finish for $25. I wish we were getting married every week for that!

Our wedding was small so we went with two dozen cupcakes and a 6" cake for variety. The cake was elegantly simple with a spackled look. No fondant here!

We topped everything off with salted caramel brownies for our welcome bags and got so many compliments from everyone!

Jordan was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend you come here if you're looking for a simple delicious cake.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! It is also not common to find a bakery that is willing to do a tasting in NYC so we appreciated the opportunity to try a lot of things out and meet with Jordan. We had a 4 tiered wedding cake (chocolate cake with salted carmel filling and vanilla icing) and it was perfect. Baked was also able to decorate the cake with coral peonies--matching the floral arrangements we had on our tables, and the flowers were insanely beautiful.

We also used Baked's brownies as favors for our engagement party and they were a huge hit.

Baked did an awesome job on the desserts for our wedding. We wanted to have a variety of flavors of regular cupcakes and then a small wedding cake without milk products because I'm allergic to milk. Baked was willing to be flexible and make their vegan wedding cake with eggs (meaning it was no longer vegan, but didn't have any milk, butter, cream etc. in it). The wedding cake was DELICIOUS. I think our guests who had it didn't even realize that it was a milk-free cake. And although I couldn't eat the cupcakes, I know that our guests loved them. Every last cupcake was eaten.

We ordered a variety of brownies from Baked for our wedding favors, and they were a huge hit! Jordan and his team were incredibly helpful in placing the order. We were even able to drop off a set of custom-made stickers that the Baked team placed on each brownie. Our guests - many of whom came from outside of NYC - loved the favors and enjoyed taking a little piece of Brooklyn home. We have heard nothing but positive things about the brownies, which (not surprisingly) were totally delicious! Thanks, Baked!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake (lemon drop and coconut) and favors (brownies/blondies) for our Brookyln wedding! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was so delicious and the favors were a huge hit with our wedding guests! I would definitely recommend Baked.

Our best man and bridesmaid used Baked for their wedding cake and cupcakes a couple of years ago, and suggested we stop in for a tasting.
We met with Jordan, who gave us an abundance of cupcakes and sweets to try.
We let him know we didn't want an over the top or typical tiered, fondant covered, almost inedible wedding cake. We wanted something that both looked good and tasted better.

We opted for a two tiered coconut wedding cake, exactly how we asked, along with two additional 8" cakes to cater to our guests who didn't like coconut.
Needless to say, our guests ended up sneaking tastes of their date or other friends, and everyone ended up wanting a slice of all three flavors! (Red Velvet/Cream Cheese, Passionfruit/Buttercream, and Coconut)

The quality and ease is definitely worth it, if you're looking for quality and not just visuals.

We ordered a three tiered carrot cake, it was beautiful and tasted amazing! Loved that we had so many options for flavors and they were really good about suggesting ways to same us some money (having a three tiered cake to display with supplemental sheet cakes in the back to fill in).

Baked created our wedding cake and favors for my September wedding. After scheduling a tasting for cake and cookies, we immediately knew that Baked was the way to go for our wedding cake even though our cake was included with the vendor. They're cakes just offered more flavor options and of course were delicious. We ended up ordering a 3 tier cake and cupcakes to supplement for the wedding cake. We were able to choose 5 different flavors of cake as a result. We also used all four cookie flavors as our favors. I got rave reviews from guests about both the cake and cookies. I highly recommend using them for any event. You can always visit their shop in Red Hook for a taste.

I enjoyed working with Jordan on our wedding cakes. He was incredibly flexible and easy going when we repeated changed our minds about cake sizes and quantities. Though we were two busy brides running around like maniacs and barely had a bite to eat that night, our guests informed us that they sampled all the cakes and loved them! We did not think about getting our cakes until pretty close to the wedding date. As our wedding is in Brooklyn, we wanted to purchase our cakes in Brooklyn since we thought we would be picking up the cakes in the morning. We didn't even know Baked was so popular until after the wedding. Jordan was great, the tasting was great, the cakes are even better! We ordered 5 individual cakes and assorted brownies to be cut into quarters for our dessert table. They had been coming up with a strawberry shortcake recipe for some time and I was able to purchase one for the wedding even though it wasn't even on their website yet. All of their cakes were delicious and we had many guests tell us they had several pieces. We ended up having our cakes delivered which worked out great to save us some stress. We recommend Baked for any occasion!

Amazing! My Groom doesnt even like cake and I think he ate TWO pieces! We got a small coconut wedding cake, Banana peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, and passion fruit cupcakes. Our guest loved everything. The number one comment of the night was "I usually dont like coconut cake, but THAT ONE was incredible". We hadnt planned on saving the top of the cake to freeze and have on our first anniversary, but my mom snuck it home without our knowing about it. The next morning when we got home from the hotel i saw it in our refridgerator and litteraly jumped with joy. Needless to say that wont make it to the freezer, we already ate it and will just go back to Baked and order a small coconut cake to have for our anniversary!!! Order from Baked, youll be so happy (and full ;) ) that you did!

Jordon at Baked was very easy to work with. They called to confirm the cake delivery time shortly before the wedding as scheduled and there were no hiccups. The cakes themselves (we couldn't decide and ended up getting three: carrot cake, citrus with passionfruit curd, and chocolate with salted caramel) were delicious! Everyone commented on how great they were.

The cakes were also a really good value. We got a very simple look (although Baked can do much more complicated, decorative things), but I was still impressed by how much cake we got for our money. In fact, we still have a ton of cake left after passing some off to friends and relatives (who were all too happy to take some).

We have a small cake and cupcakes for our wedding at Baked and it was delicious! we had a tasting before, $25 dollars for 4 people which includes all the flavors and beverages. At the end of the night all the cupcakes were gone and the cake too. The cupcakes and the cake arrived on time, perfectly made and beautiful decorations on the cupcakes and in the cake. If you are looking for an amazing and inexpensive cake vendor please consider baked.

We used BAKED for both our wedding cake and our favors (sweet & salty brownies and sugar cookies). Everything was excellent and all our guest wanted to know where everything came from. There cake was so light and their butter cream icing can not be beat. I will give you one warning though - go hungry to your tasting! We tasted 12 cupcakes, a slice of cake, brownies and cookies! Everything was wonderful which only made the decision that much harder. We look forward to going back to BAKED every year on our anniversary.

We worked with Jordan at Baked for our wedding cake. We ordered one main cake and two back-up cakes in a different flavor. Our wedding cake was delicious and I loved the design. Baked does relatively simple cakes, which is exactly what I wanted. I fell in love with their polka dot pattern, which they made in our wedding colors. Jordan was very easy to work with. In fact, we had such a positive experience that we decided to order our favors through them as well. We ordered the mini pumpkin whoopie pies, which Baked individually wrapped and sealed with a personalized sticker we provided. I never actually tasted the whoopie pies, but I saw several guests going back to grab extras after tasting theirs. If you are looking for a delicious, relatively simple but beautifully prepared cake for your wedding, I recommend checking out Baked.

I worked with Jordan for my wedding order from Baked. He was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. Since my wedding was not in the city, he recommended having a family member pickup the cupcakes before the ceremony, because their delivery service would've been too expensive and inefficient. Everything went smoothly the day of! And obviously, their cakes and cupcakes are amazingly delicious, so why wouldn't you chose them!?! Thanks Baked!

When we were choosing a place for our wedding cake, we were fairly sure we wanted Baked since we had been there before and loved their stuff. We met with Jordan for the cake tasting (they give you the cake flavors in cupcake form, so perfect!) and he was so nice and showed us different options for cakes or dessert tables and then left us alone while we tasted the cupcakes which was perfect since that way we didn't feel pressured in any way. There were a couple of flavors we had wanted to try that they didn't have that day but no problem, Jordan had cupcakes of the other flavors made up for the next weekend and we came by and picked them up. Everything went so seamlessly, even when we kept changing the flavors, and the cakes were incredible on the wedding day. So amazing!

We used Baked for our dessert table, since we didn't have a traditional wedding cake (we actually opted for a cake made of cheese... highly recommended). Renato and his staff helped us create a great array of desserts that our guests loved.

We started with a personal tasting at the shop with Renato. It was tough to narrow the cupcake flavors! We ended up choosing three cupcake flavors, two dessert bars, and a cookie. The pricing was very reasonable, the shop was able to cut some of the bars in half to help us keep the whole table to manageable portion sizes so that our guests could grab and go from the dessert table-- can't stop the dancing!

My Baked wedding cake was amazing! Everyone loved how it looked and tasted. From the consultation to the big day everyone the Baked team was very attentive to our needs and was super flexible even when I needed to increase my order the week before the wedding. First, Baked was a great value. Their prices were well under what other vendors were expecting for similar products. But most importantly, the cake not only looked beautiful, but it tasted fantastic as well. Baked has so many flavors of cake to choose from it was hard to choose a favorite flavor. Yay! Baked is superb. Renato sat down with me, gave me cake and tea, listened to what I needed, and then HANDLED BUSINESS. He gave us a small display cake and then a large sheet that could just be sliced up. Perfecto! He's creative and a total pro and I could not stop eating that cake! The price was so unbelievable that I had to do a triple take. My only complaint word of advice is to leave e early if you are headed over there for a tasting, the public transport to Red Hook is a total pain in the ass. But hey that's not Baked's fault, so...hundreds of thumbs up to Baked!

My mom baked 200+ cupcakes for our wedding so the only thing I purchased from Baked was the 8" top tier to sit at the top of the cupcake tower. I went through their Tribeca location and ordered the Lil Angel, which is white cake with white icing and raspberry jam filling.

It tasted delicious and turned out beautifully! Working with Jordan at Baked Tribeca was a breeze; he was so friendly and responsive and helpful. And the cake turned out exactly how I pictured! It tasted delicious and looked beautiful; I was really happy we went with Baked!

The only reason I rated them 4.5/5.0 stars for value was because, while the price of the cake itself was great, I was charged an extra $50 to add sugar pearls around the bottom of the cake. I could have purchased those on my own for $10 and stuck them on so it seemed a bit ridiculous as an extra charge. However, the price of the cake itself seemed low so I was okay with this and I was very happy with how beautifully it turned out!

I also ordered 6 dozen breakfast cookies and blueberry scones from Baked Red Hook which I picked up on the morning before our wedding and included in the welcome bags for our out-of-town guests and these were a hit! They were so yummy and stayed fresh a long time; we were so happy with this decision!

We'd definitely order from Baked again and highly recommend them!

After shopping around for wedding cake vendors and finding the prices to be very high, we decided to do cupcakes instead! The prices were reasonable and Jordan was very easy to work with. Flavors have to be ordered by the dozen but we were still able to offer our guests a nice variety which was really fun. The cupcakes also have really cute decorations that correspond to their flavor (or you can choose a uniform decoration for all of them). And of course, the most important thing, the cupcakes were delicious! The cake is moist and rich and the icing is light and fluffy ... one of our guests said it was like eating a cloud. The only downfall is that you have to pay for the tasting (though we did go home with leftovers) and it would have been nice to have been offered at least a free cup of coffee to go with it.

Baked provided THREE cakes for my wedding. I got a 3-tiered cake and two side cakes. All three were delicious, beautiful, and priced more than fairly, particularly by New York City standards.

They're not capable of super-intricate designs, but if you want a cake that tastes FANTASTIC and looks good, this is definitely your place.

We were so happy with our Baked cake(s)! From the start the team was helpful - they set up an delicious tasting for us, went through all our options, and didn't pressure us to get anything more than what we needed. I wanted a "naked cake" with fresh flowers from our florist. We ended up with just that, a beautiful, small three tiered cake and two back-up cakes which they were nice enough to do the same crumb layer/naked style on so we could also display them. For our wedding we wanted a variety of small (6-8in) cakes with lots of different flavors. Baked has so many delicious flavors the hardest part was picking the ones we wanted. We ended up having a small 2-tier red velvet cake for our main cake that was custom decorated with gold sprinkles covering the bottom layer. The rest of the cakes we kept with the traditional Baked design and our guest could not stop raving about how delicious they were! People were trying to make sure they were able to try all the cakes. Unfortunately, as most brides, I ended up only getting to try to first piece we cut so now we will just have to go back to the bakery for more!

Baked provided the cake for our wedding, and my husband and I were extremely pleased. Jordan was incredibly easy to work with, being flexible and patient to changes in the weeks leading up to our wedding. The cake, which turned out to be a 2-tier pistachio cake, was absolutely delicious, and our guests agreed it was GOOD (even the crazy ones who claim they don't like cake). The look of the cake was lovely and so charming--exactly what we wanted :) We are so happy we went with Baked, they really delivered an amazing product, were professional, and kept things real (a rarity to find all of these things in over-hyped Brooklyn these days).

So my wife and I went here for our first tasting with my MIL. The flavors and designs were awesome but we weren't initially sure. After tasting around, we realized they were really the best around - amazing cost, variety of sweets and decorating experience. We worked with Jordan was who super helpful and accessible. Our cake was decorated EXACTLY like how I wanted and tasted delicious! We had multiple guests tell us that they loved the cake, including those people who generally hate cake and/or wedding cakes. Choosing Baked was a no brainer. My husband lived down the street for years and we'd stop in there for coffee and treats regularly, so we already knew how crazy delicious their sweets are. There was no need to schedule a tasting, we just bought a variety of cupcakes and ate them all ourselves and called it "research." It's also one of Martha Stewart's fav bakeries!

If you want a wedding cake, Baked does custom cakes that look amazing. But if you want to save some money (and enjoy more than one flavor of cake...), the cupcake route is the way to go. There's no custom order fees for cupcakes by the dozen, so at $2-$3 a piece, it beats the cost of many wedding dessert options. They deliver locally too. We settled on the Sweet & Salty, the Red Hook Red Hot and Citrus Coconut cupcakes for our wedding which we arranged ourselves on a decorative cupcake tower from Save-on-Crafts.com (which I still have in the apartment, if anyone's interested...)

Ordered a small 3 tiered wedding cake here, and Jordan was very professional and accommodating. Loved the lemon drop flavor very much. Gave them a picture as an idea of how I would like my wedding cake to be, but it didn't come out exact way I had thought it would be. But nonetheless it was a very tasty wedding cake and did its job.

We loved our cake! We had been to Baked before, and after seeing photos of some of their wedding cakes, we were really excited to try out their flavors and set up a tasting. The process was seamless, and we got to try out all of their flavors including anything seasonal (they serve them as cupcakes). We fell in love with a few, and were able to easily customize the cake tiers. It was a positive experience from there, and everyone was really responsive and easy to work with. We love that we can always go back for more, since we hardly got a chance to enjoy the cake on the day of the wedding since we were busy dancing the night away!

We had wedding cake tastings at several places and Baked had the best value and flavors, hands down. I thought the cake was reasonably priced but the cost for decorations was high and it didn't end up looking like the picture that I had sent, so I didn't think it was worth the price for that. Everyone commented on how the cake tasted though, since wedding cakes usually look good but don't taste the same way.
