Paulette was the absolute perfect wedding planner from beginning to end. So much so that I am the second member of my family to use her because we trust her so incredibly with the most special day of our lives. From the very first meeting, Paulette took my vision, my needs, my budget, and my families needs and understand them implicitly. A Christmas, beautiful, FUN, elegant, expensive looking wedding she was able to deliver with what seemed like no stress on her part. Also, with very little stress on my part as she always made sure I was feeling okay and provided answers to questions before I even had to ask or worry about them. I asked for a grand wedding that none of our guests would forget, and I got that and so much more thanks to her. Paulette & her team were the most amazing wedding planners! She was always available for all my questions and helped me build the wedding of my dreams. Her and her team ensured everything ran smoothly during my wedding weekend. We had some bumps with the weather for the Welcome Party, but Paulette made sure the new location was ready to go in no time and my guests had an awesome time. The wedding was large (155 people) and required a lot of logistics, but Paulette made sure it all worked out. I used Paulette for her full service package and I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding planning needs. Hiring Paulette as our month-of coordinator was the single best decision we made for our wedding last year. Having meticulously planned the wedding myself, I was initially worried about handing over the final reins. But, Paulette handled everything including my anxiety with a calm, reassuring presence that was nothing short of miraculous.
She didn't just manage the logistics; she managed my stress with incredible grace and patience, allowing me to genuinely enjoy the big day. She and her assistant were an unstoppable team on the wedding day itself, ensuring every detail was perfect without me having to lift a finger. They were always one step ahead, solving problems before I even knew they existed and keeping the entire day running flawlessly even the weather was no match for them.
I honestly love her so much that I would have another wedding just to have the pleasure of working with her again. She is a true professional, an absolute lifesaver, and an angel.

Where do I start?
Mrs. Paulette has been nothing short of amazing from our first encounter. We had the perfect wedding because of her. Her communication, customer service, attention to details, and ability to get things done was impressive and should be the standard for anyone in the industry.
I did not have many issues but the few that arised, Mrs. Paulette handled it with ease and grace. You can tell she authentically enjoys her profession!

A+ Coordination
There aren’t enough words to say how amazing Paulette and her team are. My wedding day was absolutely perfect! And, even when things beyond anyone’s control happened, Paulette made sure that things got back on track and that I was happy. My goal on my wedding day was not to think too much and to just be in the moment, and with Paulette that was possible. I had planned my entire wedding myself and though I hired Paulette as my coordinator, she was more than willing to answer any questions I had and she made herself available whenever I needed. Do yourself a favor and hire Paulette!
Hiring Paulette as our wedding planner/ day of coordinator was the best choice I made to truly help our vision come to life. I planned a majority of the wedding myself initially, and then attended a destination wedding without a planner or coordinator and it was not as enjoyable of an experience as a guest, but also witnessing the couple be constantly be bothered to answer questions. My husband and I are also two full time working parents and we truly needed the support that Paulette provided. She was efficient, organized, responsive, respected by the vendors, and ensured that we understood the process of how to make our day play out as we wanted. Paulette created our timelines, wrangled our families through the day to make sure they were where they needed to be and took care of everything the day of so that we could enjoy our day. She truly supported us in the months leading up to the wedding and she and her assistant (also an amazing person) made sure to show up and ensure that the day went off without a glitch. Paulette was a life saver. Last minute, I decided to work with a wedding planner. If I could give one piece of advice when planning a wedding, it would be to get a wedding planner. Paulette helped immediately and relieved so much stress. She was so professional and helped us every step of the way with every thing that we needed. She was sweet, caring, and accommodating. After the ceremony and headed into the reception, Paulette made sure to consistently check up on us and make sure everything was perfect and going well. She helped us out with anything we needed throughout the day/night. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Our decision to hire Paulette was one of the best things we did. I'm a fairly organised person and I know how to plan a good party but a wedding is super important and deserves the extra attention to detail. Paulette kept us organized and on track throughout the planning process by checking in regularly, making herself available for calls as well as meetings with vendors. Her tips and ideas were invaluable. She led us through the rehearsal with much needed authority (getting some of the fella's to focus was a bit like herding cats lol). On the day of, while Paulette saw to the arrangements at the wedding and reception venue, her assistant made sure the entire bridal party was ready and on time. In fact my daughter (the bride) actually arrived early! Beach wedding in Old Fort Bay
We decided last minute to get married in the Bahamas and organised everything in less than 1 month. Paulette has been so professional and helpful from day 1, we would not have been able to have the beautiful event that we ended up having, without her help. Even our very last minute requests of adding a sand ceremony and of hiding the ring under a guest's chair to find (Paulette graciously provided a beautiful baby conch shell to store it in) was accommodated with a smile and a "not a problem at all"! We cannot thank you enough to help us plan our very special day in such a short amount of time. The wedding of our Dreams
Paulette and her team at Amour Affairs helped us turn all of our wedding dreams into a reality. Paulette supported and coordinated all of our requests and helped us push the boundaries on a traditional wedding which made for the most beautiful ceremony and most epic reception party. We began our relationship with Paulette walking us through numerous venues until we found the one to meet all of our needs. We then worked closely together over the next 16 months to plan our special day, with it ending in the most stress free (for us) wedding day. Most importantly Paulette's vast experience in the industry was evident with tips for planning and execution and great vendor recommendations who all worked tirelessly together to make our dream day! Wonderful Wedding Day in Nassau Because of Paulette
Paulette did an outstanding job planning our wedding. We are located in the US which made planning a wedding in Nassau complicated. But Paulette is very experienced and has a large number of contacts in the industry. Her contacts allowed us to book an exclusive venue that we believe would not have been available otherwise. She is very detail oriented and attentive. I must admit, my wife and myself were not easy to deal with. This was a second marriage for both of us and we had a strong concept of what we wanted. But Paulette was understanding and professional throughout the entire process and knew how to manage us. Review (Paulette Davis with amouraffairs)
My fiance is from Brazil and we decided to marry in the Bahamas since both of us could get there without visas and the process by most accounts seemed relatively seamless. As we discovered and as we would recommend, having a wedding planner was more than critical to making everything occur properly and I couldn't imagine anyone better than Paulette with amouraffairs. She was easy to find through google search and once contacted was meticulous and thorough. She made sure prior to our arrival that our documents for the marriage license were proper for acceptance (important). We had some issues at immigration that delayed our planned wedding for 2 days (must make sure that if asked if you have "sufficient funds" to enter, you say yes or your sponsor is there waiting and make sure to check vaccination requirements). Despite this, Paulette was able to rearrange the vendors that she had scheduled (Officiant, photographer, videographer, live streaming, props) for 2 days later. Probably not as easy a feat as I am portraying. Her expertise in all phases of our wedding was invaluable and quite frankly for us, necessary. I couldn't recommend Paulette and amouraffairs more highly for a destination wedding in the Bahamas.Bahamas Wedding Planner's reply:

The pressure to plan the wedding was totally lifted when I met Paulette. Her quiet confidence and creativity was evident from the start. I felt completely taken care of for every decision that needed to be made. She has all the contacts you need and is well respected by every other vendor I met. She is extremely organized and kind and has a calmness that was a breath of fresh air for the whole wedding party. Her attention to detail was on point and every suggestion she made was an improvement. Perfectly Planned Vow Renewal
Ms. Paulette Davis was very professional and affordable. Her services were impeccable. She responds quickly to any inquires.
We were planning our 20th vow renewal ceremony on the beach and Ms. Paulette handled every aspect of the event. She found the most beautiful and perfect beach location. Ms. Paulette arranged all of the vendors needed for the event.
She hired a photographer, a steel pan player to play music on the beach, the baker for the wedding cake, the florist for the bridal party's flowers, the bus transportation for the wedding guests to and from the ceremony, to the reception and back to their hotels.

If I had to summarize my experience with Paulette, it would be perfection in a person. She was literally the best person I could’ve worked with. Not only was she attentive to details but she also went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect. We could not say enough about Paulette! She was incredible throughout the whole process. She answered all my questions before we arrived and went out of her way to make sure our day was smooth and very special. Even with the scare of rain she was very reassuring. She is flexible with payment options. She has a wealth of knowledge and resources to get everything you want and need. She was kind, professional, beautiful and so helpful. Paulette made our wedding possible. Immediately from the beginning she was responsive, professional, so helpful and knowledgeable. From the very beginning when she helped me with learning about the forms and documents I would need to obtain the marriage license, the different rules and gave me ideas of things to consider for the wedding. She knows her stuff and I had complete confidence in her. Not only is she an expert in her field, but she is kind and personable. On the day of our wedding, she made everything happen perfectly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! We were married mid covid times so a lot could have ruined the day---but she made it all happen. I loved working with her, she felt more like a part of the family than a hired wedding planner. Paulette was everything I needed planning mt wedding a thousand miles away at Chub Cay. She is so professional, responsive and knowledgeable of ever Wedding! She helped me to plan every piece that I couldn’t get done at Chub Cay. She had wonderful vendors for our cake, mini cakes and and welcome donuts. I sent her photos of what i wanted and she immediately helped me to find three wonderful bakeries to fulfill my vision.
She is and exceptional day of planner as well. Most of my pre planning was done by myself, but she saved my sanity and allowed everyone of my family members to enjoy the day. She took my decorations, visions and brought them to life, all without me having to lift a finger the day of the wedding. She truly helped me to be at ease the night before and on the day, knowing she would bring to life everything I hand planed, and she. Paulette is amazing and if you’re here reading our reviews you’re in the right place! You only know a small piece of her talent and and amazing ability to be your “everything” on your wedding day.
She is truly incredible. Thank you SO much Paulette! I wish I had more time after the wedding to thank you!

Excellent Wedding Planner
I cannot recommend Paulette enough. We were organising my wedding through covid restrictions and she was just amazing. Organised, calm, a perfectionist and did an outstanding job. She made our day the best day of our lives. You will be so happy you chose Amour Affairs. I am a travel agent in the UK who arranges weddings abroad and she will be my "go to" for the bahamas. We met Paulette in an untraditional way. Our wedding venue changed two weeks out and we needed a planner to help us with our new venue as soon as possible. We were connected with Paulette and immediately knew she was the perfect person to help us. To say Paulette is organized is an understatement. She immediately provided us with planning documents, connected with our vendors, and ensured we felt confident that our wedding would be flawless... regardless of the need to completely replan it with two weeks to spare. She was extremely responsive and was always willing to pick up the phone to talk things through.
Planning a wedding is stressful enough, add a destination wedding during a pandemic with ever changing guidelines, and it is a lot more than you ever want to worry about. Paulette made the planning exciting and stress free again, something that was missing during the majority of our experience. It was not easy staying updated on updated restrictions in both the US and the Bahamas. Lucky for us, Paulette was committed to clarifying each and every update from the Bahamas on our behalf. Paulette’s years of experience was essential to our day going as smooth as possible. She is deeply connected through the community and her relationships with vendors, various government departments, and the resorts were the only reason we felt comfortable proceeding with our day.
Our wedding day was flawless, and that was all thanks to Paulette. We even had updates to our event restrictions occur on the day of. Paulette handled everything on our behalf. She organized each update and communication with our vendors while we were able to focus on the special moments with our families and friends. We enjoyed every aspect of our day and did not worry about any details because Paulette had it handled. We received so many compliments from our guests of how amazing Paulette was as they watched her throughout the day.
Even after our day Paulette when above and beyond. The Bahamas unfortunately reversed back to lockdown a few weeks after our wedding. This led to an issue with obtaining our marriage certificate. Of course, our angel Paulette came to rescue. She advocated on our behalf and was able to pick up our certificate the day the government offices reopened. She immediately mailed the certificates to us and we did not have to worry at all. Paulette is one of the most genuine and kind humans we have ever met. We are now eight months married and still talk to Paulette frequently. She feels like family to us and we cannot wait to visit with her once we go back to our favorite island again.
My only regret is that we did not meet Paulette earlier in the planning process. Thank you to Paulette for everything. Our wedding was amazing because of you.Bahamas Wedding Planner's reply:

Paulette came highly recommended to us by the best event company in Nassau. Paulette was able to take our vision of what we wanted for our wedding- Paulette was able to connect me with the best sources and vendors on the island: from cake, flowers, officiant, rehearsal dinner, music and venues. Paulette met us at our hotel to finalize the paperwork and took care of all the details. She handled all of the planning, preparation for our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. The day of the wedding, we felt so happy and relaxed. Paulette handled every single detail! Our ceremony at a private club was beautiful and intimate- Paulette and her assistants made sure that it was perfect. The cocktail hour followed by the reception were stunning- with so many small touches. Everything was on a time and without delay. As a bride, I didn't have to worry that I wasn't on site to make every selection or meet all the vendors. Paulette was able to schedule calls with me to go through all of the logistics and requirements, and make recommendations. When my family and I arrived, I was able to enjoy my time in the Bahamas, all of our guests commended that it was the best wedding they had been to, and I know it would not have happened without Paulette's expertise and experience and professionalism.Bahamas Wedding Planner's reply:

Rob Sent on 09/13/2018** READ THIS REVIEW ** We are an american couple from New Jersey and wanted to get married on the beach in Nassau, but not at a resort. We rented our own house in a private area and wanted to host it there. Only problem was, we knew nothing about planning a wedding 1,000 miles away! We did some research and found Paulette, and decided to fly down to Nassau and meet her in person. From that first meeting, we knew she was the planner for us. Booked her immeditaely (18 months ahead of time) and began working on the details. Let me tell you, Paulette know how to plan a wedding!! She guided us through every step of the way, and recommended things that we didnt even think of. On the day of the wedding, she was present to make sure things ran smoothly. We went with a catered lunch and dinner, both of which were AMAZING and everyone raved about how good the food was. We went with a live band, who Paulette booked personally, and THEY KEPT THE PARTY ROCKING ALL NIGHT LONG. Im not just saying that either... I am a musician and my friends are too, and they all loved the band. She got us a bouquet and bouteneers that were exactly what my bride wanted. She got the same flower arrangements for our table centerpieces too (which BTW she rented us a full set of tables, chairs, and arranged a lighting guy to light up our spot!!). For the ceremony we had a draped arch on the beach along with 50 folding chairs, enough for all our guests. Im telling you, I would not have been able to do this wedding without her. She was always in touch with us throughout the time leading up to the wedding, and making payments to her was super easy. Please, if you are getting married in the bahamas, dont try to tackle all the little things yourself. Save yourself the hassle and just sit back and let Paulette plan everything perfectly for you. It was never about the money with her, it was always about the service and making sure we were covered by being well prepared with all required documents that were needed to get married. She was also never pushy about the payment, she was just going with the flow and completely honest about each step. I deal with lots of people in business and I can tell you, that Paulette is one of the good people left in this world ! I highly recommend her because she won't disappoint you! From the first email to the day of our wedding all perfect organised and felt like we knew us for years. If you want a simple weeding or big celebration she is the lady !!!! We had the best time of our life and never forget getting martied between 4 hurricanes around. What an amazing lady couldn't make a better choice !!!

Andrea Sent on 12/03/2017My daughter Jaclyn always knew that her wedding would be in Nassau Bahamas as we spent every Christmas and lots of summers there. Planning any wedding is challenging but a destination wedding for over 100 people can be daunting.
On my first fact finding trip to Nassau one name kept being mentioned. Everyone said if you want to enjoy this process and know that everything will be taken care of then you must meet Paulette at Amour Affairs.
I called Paulette and she met with me that afternoon. She was early, organized but for me the deciding factor was that you could tell she genuinely loves what she does.
Paulette knows everyone on the island, she has an excellent reputation with all the venues management, which goes a long way on a small island.
Paulette also responded very quickly to all my questions and concerns she provided me with choices for everything from the decor vendors to string quartets, steelpan player, DJ’s and limo services in all price points.
Most of the guest stayed at the Atlantis and other private rentals on Paradise Island, Paulette managed all the transportation for all the events planned ( which was no small feat).
The ceremony was held at the Cloisters, Paradise Island followed by the reception at Luciano’s on Nassau.
The morning of the wedding Paulette arrived at the home we rented she was so organized and so focused, I knew I could just leave it all in her hands and enjoy this perfect day with my daughter.
Everything was perfect, Paulette’s staff was everywhere. They were at both venues, at the hotels making sure all the guests get on buses, at the grooms rental home...
Needless to say Paulette was invaluable to my family both through the planning process and especially the day of. I know for sure this day would not have been perfect had it not been for Paulette Davis and her staff at Amour Affairs.Bahamas Wedding Planner's reply:

Ken Sent on 11/30/2017On November 7th, 2017 we celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary at Goodman's Bay in Nassau and Paulette and her team exceeded our expectations.
A year and a half ago I began my communications from Canada with Paulette in Nassau. Paulette was quick to reply to literally dozens of emails over the last eighteen months and when we finally met her and her team it was like reuniting with family.
We told Paulette what we had in mind for our ceremony and she took care of everything, from transportation, flowers, photography, videography, to location, minister, music and some beautiful extras like a sand ceremony.
We were only ported in Nassau for one day from a cruise ship, but everything flowed perfectly as planned. Paulette is very accommodating and will bend over backwards to make your special day the one of your dreams.

The absolute best decision of our lives was choosing Paulette Davis at Amour Affairs. I am typically an articulate individual but lack the appropriate words to encapsulate the pure splendor, the immense joy, the highest admiration, the deep love that we have for her. Do not waste your time or money standing in line for the amusement park style resort packaged wedding planners, do not risk using anyone less than the absolute best. We were worried about making this transaction over the phone, but we didn't have a choice as the Royal Caribbean Cruises never called us back to help us plan our wedding during our cruise. I found Amour Affairs's website on google. Paulette was very helpful and flexible to help us make the most of our day.
We had a very modest & simple ceremony, but turned out to be super special & perfect :) I was surprised with the bouquet, BEAUTIFUL! The beach she picked was a public beach (we didn't want to pay any extra fee) PERFECT, Paradise beach - the right name for that place.
Paulette is totally trustworthy and well known in this industry. I already recommended her to my friend that is getting married soon ;) can't wait to go back to Nassau and photograph the wedding, what a perfect and worry free way to get married! ;)
