  Amazing Florals

  Backyard Garden Florist and specifically Nino helped to bring our wedding day to life with the most gorgeous flowers. The centerpieces and the bridal bouquets were absolutely stunning. Nino listened to our ideas and he executed them better than we could have imagined!! I highly recommend trusting Backyard Garden Florist with your wedding day flowers, you will not be disappointed.

  Beautiful work & a great attention to detail!

  I worked with Nino for about a year and a half leading up to our July 2021 wedding. To be honest, I was a very hands on bride with high expectations for anyone we were hiring. Even more challenging I didn’t live in Syracuse. Nino was very attentive and communicative throughout the planning process. He was flexible with my meeting requests when I was in town and he communicated easily via email when we needed to. Everything was delivered day of and went as planned without any issues (of course). Most importantly the work was absolutely beautiful and just as I hoped for! Thank you Nino & BYG team!

  Could not have imagined better

  Nino is a rockstar. I am still in awe of the beautiful arraignments he and his team made for our wedding. They even constructed an archway for us! Easy to work with and a creative genius with flowers, I would absolutely recommend.

  Stunning flowers with great customer service and eye for design!

  Nino was a joy to work with from beginning to end. In many ways he not only put together stunning floral arrangements for us, but was the design eye behind our entire multi-room reception space. He helped us think about the flowers and the place cards and the table numbers and the champagne buckets... I cannot recommend Backyard Garden highly enough. It's worth the $$$ - he's the best in the business!

  We fell in love with Nino the first time we met him! He is amazing to work with and is so sweet. He was very helpful and responsive throughout the planning process and overall just a great florist! Our flowers for our wedding day were absolutely perfect! Our entrance piece, low and high centerpieces, bouquets, boutineers and corsages were all breath taking! I would highly recommend them!

  We used back yard garden for our wedding. Nino was wonderful to work with and our flowers were absolutely beautiful and exactly what i wanted! (AND they smelled sooo strong and amazing!) They were perfect for our June wedding! So happy with the way everything turned out!

  Nino, of Backyard Garden, has a vision like none other. We had Nino do the flowers for the bridal shower as well - perfect! The wedding flowers, from corsages to centerpieces were stunning. Nino has an attention to detail which includes the timing as well. Nino was at the church to pin on the corsages. Made sure all flowers were delivered to where they were supposed to be. Not a single worry with Nino and Backyard Garden. Highly recommend!

  Nino did an AMAZING job with the flowers at our wedding! He was extremely helpful in giving advice about other aspects of the wedding decor as well so that everything would tie together seamlessly and we would have the exact look we were going for. He provided beautiful flowers for the church, the bouquets were stunning, and the centerpieces were exactly what we wanted! Having only a rough idea of what we wanted, he did a great job of leading us through the process until we had stunning arrangements that perfectly suited our wedding look. He is extremely professional and friendly and we were so happy with the results. He really is an artist! Would highly recommend.

  We worked with Nino at Backyard Garden Florists, and he did an amazing job for our fall wedding! He never uses dyed flowers, and was able to incorporate natural oranges, yellows, purples, and reds in our arrangements to match the fall theme. The dahlias and calla lillies were beautiful! Nino listened to our design choices are matched them perfectly to give an elegant and rustic look to fit our venue. All the table arrangements and wedding party arrangements were reasonably priced. Definitely a great local vendor, I would highly recommend them!!

  Nino was incredible to work with and delivered absolutely beautiful flowers. I didn't know what I wanted in terms of flowers but he allowed me to take his own books home, bookmark them, and come again discuss options. He was very complete, asking all about my wedding dress and venue to assess our sense of style and what we would like. I trusted him completely, and that day, the flowers were perfect. They were delivered on time, they brought them to my house and the church and also made sure that the flowers were all pinned on our groomsmen and given to my grandmothers. They were very reasonable, and I have recommended them to everyone who asked about my flowers. I am extremely happy about their service.

From the first time that I met with him, he sat with me and flipped through lots of photos of possible arrangements before coming up with a mix and match that was better than I ever could have imagined! He and his team delivered the flowers to our venue - not just on time but early - despite a semi-last minute (a week or two before the wedding) bump up to an earlier time. I don't think I could have asked for a better florist or an easier working relationship!

The centerpieces MADE our reception space and I can't express how perfect my bouquet was for me.
  Nino thank you so much for a wonderful experience. I wish you could have seen our faces the first time we walked into the reception space and saw what you had created, it was priceless.   I worked directly with Nino at Backyard Garden for my mom's wedding, and I'm beyond pleased and impressed with his work. When our flowers were delivered on the wedding day, they actually brought tears to my mom's eyes, and this was a woman who almost didn't even want flowers!
  
  However, I'm a bit more picky, and had a pretty distinct image in my head of what I knew my mom would like. But as much as I knew what we wanted, it was still difficult to communicate the exact picture in my head. But after a conversation with Nino, he knew exactly what I wanted, and on the wedding day, the picture in my head was brought to life exactly as we all envisioned. He even added some lovely details to the bouquet wrapping that just made us all go "awwwww!"
  
  One of the reasons we hired Nino was because he has a great design aesthetic and a knack for garden-y and ethereal flowers, which was what we were going for. He's so talented, easy to talk to, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I also found his prices to be very fair and he was SO fast with email, which was always reassuring.

  I worked directly with Nino at Backyard Garden for my mom's wedding, and I'm beyond pleased and impressed with his work. When our flowers were delivered on the wedding day, they actually brought tears to my mom's eyes, and this was a woman who almost didn't even want flowers!
  
  However, I'm a bit more picky, and had a pretty distinct image in my head of what I knew my mom would like. But as much as I knew what we wanted, it was still difficult to communicate the exact picture in my head. But after a conversation with Nino, he knew exactly what I wanted, and on the wedding day, the picture in my head was brought to life exactly as we all envisioned. He even added some lovely details to the bouquet wrapping that just made us all go "awwwww!"
  
  One of the reasons we hired Nino was because he has a great design aesthetic and a knack for garden-y and ethereal flowers, which was what we were going for. He's so talented, easy to talk to, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I also found his prices to be very fair and he was SO fast with email, which was always reassuring.

  Nino and his team did an awesome job for our wedding! Nino was great to work with and made our vision come to life. We met with him several times during the planning process and he answered all of our questions and made sure we were happy with everything we received. There were flowers I wanted that were not in season and he went above and beyond to make sure we were able to have them! He stayed at the ceremony to make sure everyone got their flowers and even set the aisle runner in place after the groomsmen unrolled it. Backyard Garden truly care about the work they do and it shows!

  Nino brought my exact vision for my wedding to life and I will forever be grateful to him for it. Thank you so much!!! When I first came in to meet with Nino I had a binder several inches thick full of photos and magazine clippings with my ideas. He took it all in and he worked with me to incorporate everything I wanted into my wedding decor while keeping it tasteful and keeping it all within my budget. I got married in Ithaca, NY and Nino had never been to my ceremony or reception venues. He came with me to visit both locations and took photos and detailed notes on everything he saw. He made sure that we were on the same page before moving forward with any of our plans, which I really appreciated. There were times when I really needed his professional guidance on certain things (like my ceremony decor) and he was 100% spot on with his judgment call there. I had only a rough idea about what I wanted for the ceremony and Nino used his creative license to create an incredibly romantic but subtle setting for us to exchange our vows in. I loved my chuppah so much that part of me wants to keep it and put it up in my own backyard! There were also times when I felt strongly about incorporating some of my own personal elements into my reception decor (like my table numbers, my favors and my menus) and Nino was totally flexible, he made it work and he made it work well. He incorporated every single detail that I asked for (from the birch pots, the moss details, the curly willow, the wheatgrass, to every single specific flower that we discussed for both my centerpieces and bouquets/boutonnieres as well as every single outside element of my own that I asked him to include in his design). My bridesmaids loved their bouquets (they held them all night!), I loved mine so much that I used it as a centerpiece for my sweetheart table at the reception, and my guests continue to rave about how beautiful my centerpieces were and how romantic the entire setting was inside our reception tent. I had a variety of different floral decor, including rose petals for the aisle, 5 bridesmaids bouquets of blue hydrangea, a mixed wildlflower bouquet for me, boutonierres for the groomsmen and dads, wristlet for my MIL, two large vases of flowers, and 16 centerpieces. Everything looked gorgeous! I was very impressed. He is very accommodating with what you want and very upfront about what will work and what won't. He's a true professional - just tell him what you want and let him run with it.
