Backstage was nothing short of wonderful to work with planning every detail of our wedding day the past 2 years! The night before our wedding after setting up I received a phone call that there had been a sewage flood at the Meyer theater. We would no longer be able to have our reception at backstage. Nicole and Sam worked to get everything moved over to new venue (Resch Expo) overnight. Yes, it was super hectic and some small things did go wrong, but I was still able to have my wedding and not cancel it which was the main concern. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a venue choice! -

Our wedding was perfect. It was everything we ever hoped for and more! Nicole was extremely accommodating and so helpful throughout the planning process! During the reception, Nicole and her team were very attentive to details to make sure everything was what we wanted. Highly recommend this gem of Green Bay!! Thank you! -

I was the bride and the venue was a dream!
Nicole Hioda at the top of her game and every one should experience her food, great attitude and treats people like family. More than please. My guests are still raving about her food from one chef to another.... fantastic. Every detail was spot on!!!!!!Backstage's reply:

Choosing Backstage at the Meyer for our May 2019 wedding was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we walked in, we knew that this was THE place--unique, urban, classy and lovely. It isn't just a typical empty room, it has character from top to bottom with its unique lighting, lovely floors and gorgeous windows. The space itself is a game-changer, but meeting and working with Nicole was the icing on the cake. Nicole was beyond helpful, fun and easy to work with. She was accommodating and always promptly responded to and answered any questions or addressed any concerns we had. People often say that planning a wedding is stressful, but Nicole made the entire process enjoyable, easy and stress free. She is knowledgeable, understanding, personable and offers many helpful suggestions. To top it off, Nicole is an extremely talented chef. Our guests are still raving about the unbelievably delicious food served by Nicole and her friendly, attentive and talented staff. Each meal was perfect, unbelievably flavorful, aesthetically pleasing and served at a perfect temperature. We offered our guests four different entrees and each one was delectable. We could go on and on about how incredibly phenomenal the entire experience was. We will be forever indebted to Backstage at the Meyer, Nicole and her staff for making our wedding unforgettable. We highly recommend Backstage at the Meyer. The space, the food, Nicole, the staff and bartender are all top-notch.

Booking Backstage at the Meyer for our ceremony AND reception venue was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. The space was unique and beautiful. The location was perfect for our wedding guests - downtown with lots of action and a convenient parking ramp directly across the street. And the food was TO DIE FOR! Every guest RAVED about the food. It came out piping hot, the portions were gigantic, and the service was quick. We had guests telling us they've never walked away full from a wedding reception meal before - until now. The Executive Chef and Event Coordinator Nicole Hoida is the most amazing person to work with. When I requested an in person meeting or sent her an email/text, she always responded quickly and with all the information I asked for. She was easy going & friendly! Very passionate about what she does. I remember telling her at the end of the reception that I wanted to get married every weekend at Backstage at the Meyer just so that I could work with her! If you are planning a smaller wedding - 150 people or less - consider having it here! You won't regret it!Backstage's reply:

I can't imagine having had my wedding reception anywhere else but Backstage. It was perfect in every way! Nicole and all of the staff were extremely friendly, I felt like family every time we talked. The food was absolutely amazing. We got a lot of compliments! The space decorated itself, we really didn't need to do a lot to decorate more. The size was perfect for our wedding with roughly 115 guests. Every question I had along the planning process (which was a lot), was answered. On the day before and of the wedding, some staff switched around their schedule's to make sure they would be there when we arrived for some little touch ups we had to do. Everything went smooth throughout the night. There wasn't a single hiccup all night that I knew of! Thank you so much for everything Backstage!! -

The Perfect Day
Everyone at the Meyer Theatre and the Backstage were wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and bar was maintained well. Every staff member was available and responsive. The reception hall was decorated beautifully and the ceremony was perfect on the theatre stage. Nicole does such a great job staying organized and being open to any and all suggestions. We had a lot of ideas that they haven’t had before but they were so willing to give everything a try. We couldn’t be happier with how everything was handled. They truly helped make our wedding day go as problem-free as possible. -

The Backstage was the prefect location that we could of picked for our wedding. The staff were very flexible and thoughtful through the planning process. We got married in the Theater and it was absolutely beautiful and Nicole did a great job at making our day special!! Food was amazing!!!! -
