Rosemary & Rye made our wedding day extra special. From beginning to end, the team made the planning process so easy and they were very accommodating with all our requests. We have heard so many compliments from our guests about the food! Our guests were raving about their meals (even months later!). They especially loved the hors d'oeuvres, dinner entrees and signature cocktails. We're so happy with how everything turned out. The team went above & beyond and it really showed! We highly recommend working with Rosemary & Rye for your wedding or any special event. We will certainly be reaching back out for any future events we host in the future! -

In one word: INCREDIBLE. Rosemary & Rye Catering went above and beyond in every aspect. Food is undoubtedly a memorable topic among guests following a wedding, and from hors d'oeuvres to the main course, guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious flavors, with several claiming it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Not to mention, the presentation was flawless, adding to the overall culinary experience.
As Charleston locals and self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations for food are sky-high, and R&R surpassed them all. The tasting experience left us very impressed, but we were thrilled to find that the food at our wedding, on a larger scale, exceeded even those lofty expectations. The chicken & waffles, a delightful "local treat," were a highlight that many guests had never experienced before. The mini tomato pies and pulled pork wontons were also crowd favorites, with guests eagerly going back for seconds. The flavor combination of the R&R salad with strawberries, goat cheese, and candied pecans was simply delicious. The short rib was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, while the gruyere prosciutto stuffed chicken was equally delightful. Each side dish was thoughtfully paired to complement its respective entrée (risotto with short rib and fingerling potatoes with chicken). Even the wild mushroom ravioli (vegetarian main course) was a hit, impressing even those who chose other dishes but sampled their plus one’s selection.
Throughout the planning process, Jessica and Caroline were responsive, professional, and a joy to work with. Instead of becoming frustrated with our ever-changing menus, they remained patient and accommodated us with ease as we navigated through selections to fit our budget. They provided valuable feedback to help curate a diverse menu that catered to everyone's dietary needs flawlessly. On the big day, the R&R team arrived promptly, were very organized, and the service was impeccable, with gracious and professional wait staff. They even took it upon themselves to set aside a few appetizers for us to enjoy later in the evening, allowing us to spend cocktail hour taking pictures and visiting with family. It was really a kind gesture and did not go unnoticed.
Choosing Rosemary & Rye was undoubtedly a great decision. Their attention to detail, outstanding service, and exceptional food made our special day truly unforgettable. We’ll definitely be turning to them for any future events.

Rosemary and Rye hit it out of the park for our wedding of 210 people! My dad actually found R+R and sent me their menu raving about the unique take on southern staples that would also appease our half Boston based crowd.
We had the pecan chicken, steaming carving station, and create your own pasta bar. They serve it as tapas style which allows for multiple sides and guests to try all options easily! Their staff was beyond professional and kept guests moving through the lines. The passed apps were a huge hit and the raw bar was stunning! Guests raved about the freshness and how quickly they moved raw options to keep things cold and delicious!
The owners Meghan and Chris personally came up to both my mom and I during the night were so warm and kind. I truly can’t recommend the Rosemary and Rye team more! -

Food was excellent every single bite was so good from the appetizers to the pretzels at the end of the night. Prime Rib was so tender and tasty, chicken was just as good as the steak. I cannot say enough about how good and how professional this crew was. Everything was freshly made. -

Rosemary & Rye are amazing!!!! From the beginning, email communication with Sabrina (who is a gem!!) was top notch! So many decisions and changes over the months of planning a large wedding-- they are professional, organized and just as excited as you are to plan your event. The food was freaking awesome, delicious, fresh, and beautiful! In Charleston, where the wedding market is so competitive and saturated, Rosemary & Rye stands out above the rest!!!! I would chose them again and again and again!!!!! -

Sabrina and the team at Rosemary & Rye did a stellar job at our wedding! I seriously can’t sing their praises enough! We initially had a tasting years ago (thanks COVID)! My husband wanted to try things he didn’t actually expect us to have on our wedding menu which led to me making adjustments approximately 20 times over the course of the last 2 years. They were accommodating and helpful each and every time! We ended up with some items we had never tried. I can’t emphasize enough how delicious the food was and how impressed our guests were! Now, even a month later, people are still raving about the beef short ribs! If you’re on the fence, just do it! In addition, we had the pecan encrusted chicken breast with macaroni and cheese and the shrimp and grits! My husband and I actually sat down to eat and each had a plate from all 3 of our stations! The dinner and their service was flawless! I felt “catered to”! My special request was a late night snack! We went with the cheeseburger sliders and chicken and waffle bites- I highly recommend after an evening of drinking! Rosemary and Rye were one of the few vendors that I trusted to execute my vision! I wasn’t aware when they arrived or when they left- it was seamless! There isn’t any hesitation to say they knocked it out of the park! I highly recommend them to cater your next function/wedding too! -

Brandy was so easy to work with throughout the entire process and willing to work with you to create the perfect menu for your big day. Sadly, our tasting was cancelled due to a hurricane and we were never able to reschedule before our wedding day so I crossed my fingers and hoped everything would turn out ok. The food was more than ok, it was incredible! From the Hors d'oeuvres to the the main courses, everything was beautiful and delicious. She and her team were very organized and the whole evening ran smoothly. They even packed to go boxes for my husband and I to take with us (just as good after the wedding!) I also had several wedding guests comment that this was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. I would highly recommend Brandy for your event! -

I couldn't even begin to say enough about how much we would recommend the B Gourmet team to anyone planning a wedding in or near Charleston. From the very first time I emailed Brooke it was clear that their customer service was top-notch of all the caters we reached out to - and that only continue through our tasting and wedding day. Brandy was our day of event manager and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were taken care of. The food was incredible, we have gotten so many compliments on how it was the best wedding food. And the pricing was the most competitive of anyone we talked to in Charleston. They worked with us to craft the perfect menu that fit in our very different food preferences and everything exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a caterer in Charleston there is no doubt B. Gourmet is the best. We can not say enough good things about Brooke, Brandy, Scott, and the rest of the team at B. Gourmet. My husband and I had an idea to incorporate venison (that we supplied, my husband being the outdoorsman that he is) into our wedding menu, and Brooke was totally up for the challenge. They were more than happy to work with us and even excited about creating a custom plate for us! Our tasting was so cute and so much fun!
Everyone at the wedding raved about the food, and it seems they'll keep doing so for quite a while!
Our menu (which wa shard to decide on b/c everything sounded so good): Chicken and waffle bites (one of my favorites! got rave reviews from everyone), Bacon wrapped BBQ quail (another winner!), fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese, and prosciutto topped seared scallops, shrimp and grits, bourbon peach bbq pork tenderloin with green beans and mac and cheese (mac and cheese was on point!), and finally venison burger sliders and venison jalapeno poppers (we requested the poppers b/c they're a gameday trademark at our house). We also opted for the Charleston Treats option to offer our guests something sweet other than wedding cake to munch on and they did not disappoint. There was not one thing that could have been better. -

Brooke and her team are FANTASTIC. Everyone raved about the food at our wedding - the quality of the food, the presentation, and how smoothly everything ran. We decided to do stations of food, so people could just walk by and grab a plate and never had to wait in a line, even though our wedding was 170 people. The salads in a cup were so cute and a huge hit. In the planning, Brooke was very willing to work with our budget and accommodated my husband's narrow view of what mac and cheese should consist of. B Gourmet also made sure that we got to have all of the passed apps and they set us up with ALL of the food in the bridal suite of the venue so that we could eat in peace and have a moment to ourselves. They also packed a bunch of it up and gave it to us to take home, which we enjoyed very much the next day. Brooke also arranged for our bar service and rentals, which was a huge help. We could not recommend B Gourmet enough!!! Thank you! -

Brooke and her team were amazing! I must say we are a little biased being Penn State Alumni but they really made the day something special. Our guests were raving about the food, especially the shrimp and grits! There is no better value and experience in the Charleston area than B. Gourmet. They were the first caterer recommended to us and we are so happy we didn't look elsewhere. Book B. Gourmet, stop looking elsewhere! -

Brooke and her team are the best!!
From the first phone call, to the tastings, to the plated dinner execution at our wedding, everything was absolutely flawless. Brooke creates gourmet food with a low-country flair and it is evident that she puts her heart and soul into her work. The sweetest thing was that Brooke made sure that my husband and I had some apps waiting for us immediately after the ceremony - as most couples don’t have much time to eat at their own weddings! Everything tasted amazing and our guests raved about the food and exquisite service - as well as bar service. Brooke made our plated meal service for 120 guests so errorless with her team of professionals and we could not have pulled off this day without her. Thank you Brooke! -

If we went back to day one of wedding planning, I would book Brooke and her team again in a heartbeat. B. Gourmet made us feel so special during our tasting and on our wedding day! We had an unbelievable amount of compliments about how amazing our wedding food was!
First, it was so special that Brooke and Greg were able to recreate my mom's meatballs and gravy! Our family was impressed with how close they both tasted to the recipes. We had multiple people say they went up for multiple meatballs. :) This personally was my favorite food part of the night!
Second, my northern family and friends never had she crab soup before. They even went out multiple times after the wedding to find she crab soup, and ALL said that no one had as good of that soup as you did. The second favorite was the pork wontons! I can attest to this! :)
Lastly... EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Every Italian at the wedding said that everything was spot on, and the meats and cheeses were delicious!
We also had a lot of compliments how there were no lines at any of the stations. Everyone worked extremely efficiently to turn out plates. I am so, so glad we decided to do stations. Our guests had a little bit of everything and agreed that was better than what they are used to by picking one plate! We heard compliments about how every steak was perfect.. and how they expected the pork to be good, but not THAT good! :)
We are so grateful to have picked B. Gourmet for our wedding. We highly recommend them to everyone! -

The entire B Gourmet team did a fantastic job! Typically, food at weddings can be underwhelming to say the least. Since my husband and I big foodies, finding a company that would "wow" us was a tall order. B Gourmet absolutely NAILED it! From the perfect southern hor d'oeuvres to the classic fall themed entree, we (and our guests) loved every single bite! Additionally, we could not have asked for better service in terms of communication and all the "little extras" that this team executed with perfection. Of all of our vendors, our wedding planner was most impressed with the prompt communication we received with B Gourmet. My personal favorite was the "goodie basket" we got to take back to the hotel at the end of the night! We were lucky to get the chance to munch on all of our favorites from the evening a second time as our own personal late night bites. :) -

Just choose B. Gourmet from the start and don't exhaust yourself looking around for other options. Chef Brooke and her team will take care of you! Email and phone communication was clear and prompt. Beginning with the tasting, to the day of last minute changes, ( rain creating a need for a different flow beginning with the ceremony), Chef Brooke and her team had the vision to get us to a place of peace and satisfied belly's. Guests from all over the country enjoyed delicious flavors plus kind and attentive servers. The team at B. Gourmet was fantastic to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process! The sales manager was super helpful and knowledgeable when it came to figuring out wedding day rentals, and Brooke, the owner, came up with helpful solutions for our bar package. Since we aren't local to the Charleston area, B. Gourmet made everything really easy for us.
The service the day of the wedding was exceptional too, but I am saving the best part of this review for last...the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!
When we went down to Charleston for our tasting last September, we were blown away with how good Brooke's cooking is. My husband says that our wedding tasting is one of the top 10 days of his life! And B. Gourmet didn't disappoint on our wedding day; we received the same delicious, quality food for our 100+ guests! From the cocktail hour all the way through to the late night snacks, everything was just so delicious and our guests still can't stop raving! Thank you so much and don't stop/change what you are doing :-) -

B Gourmet was a dream to work with for our wedding catering service. The B Gourmet team was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. I had some things I wanted to change/customize as my date was approaching (dietary restrictions, late night snacks etc.), and B Gourmet allowed me to make these adjustments with ease. The day of the wedding, the staff was amazing and very friendly to our wedding guests! As for the food, I can't say enough about how delicious it was--we received SO many compliments for our guests on our entree selections (short rib, mahi-mahi, and stuffed chicken) and how delicious they were. Also, our guests would not stop raving about our late night snacks (gourmet grilled cheese and mini pork tacos) that the servers brought out to the dance floor towards the end of the night! B Gourmet had so many great and fun food ideas and work with you to completely customize to your liking, dietary restrictions, etc. I would highly recommend B Gourmet to anyone looking for an amazing catering service with great value in the Charleston area!

Gareth Sent on 01/05/2018B.Gourmet were extremely help from the start of requesting a quote. They helped personalise our menu to what was important to us and was happy to go along with what we were looking for. My wife and I were planning this from England and distance always makes everything harder but they were very responsive, helpful and friendly with every email or long distance phone call.
My wife, her parents and I went to the tasting and we love their set up and the put in a lot of effort for a simple tasting. The food was amazing and they took our feedback on board and was willing to tweak the dishes to our liking. The grits is amazing and the only grits that I have ever liked!
Then disaster struck! Two days before our wedding was due, Hurricane Irma decided to head towards Charleston and a mandatory evacuation cancelled our wedding. Faced with having people travel from near (3 hours drive away) and far (8hr flight away) we preferred to try and re-arrange this. The only possibly day that we could re-arrange this was for the next day.
Lauren from B.Gourmet and the whole team were excellent in getting the food ready on time, organising the venue in a completely new location and communicating throughout. B.Gourmet managed to turn a very stressful period into a fantastic wedding without any compromise on quality. They were truly amazing!
Although B.Gourmet can't guarantee that they will re-arrange a wedding in the event of a hurricane, I wouldn't want anyone else taking that task on. If they can pull off the wedding that we had in the circumstance that we had, then any other wedding must be a walk in the park for them!

Rachel Sent on 11/14/2017Your search for the best catering company in Charleston ends now! B.Gourmet Catering is hands down THE BEST in town. We worked together on every single detail of my wedding menu and bar package for over a year. Brooke, Lauren and the rest of their team are the real deal. After our wedding, I received more texts about how incredible our food was than anything else (and this was a wedding of picky New Yorkers with very high standards)! I seriously daydream about Brooke's pasta. My husband and I are in an ongoing battle about which sauce is better - the pesto or the alla vodka. It's all amazing and we only wish Brooke would open a restaurant. From start to finish, every bite was amazing, plus you do not get better customer service than the B Gourmet team. Book them while you can if they have your date available!
