Incredible!
10/10 recommend! I was first introduced to Jess when she did my cousin’s July 2023 bridal party makeup and she killed it with my bridesmaid look!!! I knew I needed to book Jess for my February 2024 wedding!
Jess was so sweet and personal each time we had met with a cool vibe that lets you feel relaxed. She is definitely a professional who knows what she’s doing when it comes to skin care! She taught me so much about my own skin when we had met for my bridal makeup trial. She let me know what products to use and how to prepare my skin for the big day. And for that, I’m forever grateful!!
For my wedding day look I really wanted a timeless classy look with a bit of an edge to it. And Jess knew exactly how to slay the look! I looked and felt beautiful that day! Jess gave me that royal queen glow!!!!
She also did my mom’s and bridesmaid’s makeup too. Which turned out gorgeous!!!

Amazing start to finish
Jessica and her team we THE BEST!!! Honestly could not have asked for a better hair and make up team for our wedding! These ladies did their research, made sure everyone was comfortable and happy. I looked for someone who could do it all, as my wedding party had ALL skin tones, hair types and comfort levels. If you are looking for someone who can do it all, for all ethnicities, you found them! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND! My wedding dress ripped 10 minutes before I was supposed to be out the door, and the girls actually sewed me into my dress! It held up all night and I had to be cut out at 2am. One of the bridesmaids had an unexpected big bruise on her arm, which they covered no problem! The flower girl was jealous of the makeup we all got, so the girls gave her a little touch up! I honestly can not say anything bad. Jess and her team are flawless, GAWJESS, QUEENS! Do yourself a favor and hire her team for all your needs. You won’t regret it! -

The most talented team of hair and makeup artists!
I had to sit and take my time with this review because I can't find a way to recommend Jess and her team at GetGawJess enough!
2 years ago, I found Jess at a Bridal Expo at the Meadowlands and I immediately took down her information. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and the women that were at her booth were all very diverse- a top priority for me when looking to book hair and makeup for my wedding. When I got home later that night, I sent her an email and we had a FaceTime call. Throughout the entire process Jess was a fantastic communicator. That night we scheduled a trial for my hair and makeup and spray tan!
My hair and makeup trial went great and they gave me exactly what my vision was. I thought I was an expert in my own skincare- I had a routine that I had been following for months getting ready for my wedding day. Jess pointed out some problems with my skin that I didn't even know existed because the makeup wasn't really sitting well on my face. She recommended a few products to add to my routine and my GOD! What a difference it made! By the time my wedding came around, my complexion was the best it ever looked. Having a skin care professional do your makeup will just be a nice added bonus when you book with GetGawJess.
When it came to my wedding day, Jess brought in her whole team and my bridal party and I felt like celebrities! My bridesmaids and I are all vastly different- complexions, skin types, and hair textures. They NAILED every single look my girls asked for. From fine, to curly, to braids, they had an expert hairstylist for every single girl. The makeup was gorgeous and it looked even BETTER by the end of the night if you can imagine that. Not only was the hair and makeup on point, but Jess and her entire team were so kind and fun. They made everyone feel very special. They even gave my husband a little makeup touch up!
Now, I have very fair skin and I burn in the sun. I was a little anxious about getting a spray tan because I didn't want to look orange or unnatural. We did my spray tan trial before my bachelorette weekend and I was absolutely glowing- I got compliments about it all week!!! Jess came to my house to do it, with a little tent and her tanning kit. I opted to do it completely in the nude but you can wear bottoms if you're not comfortable with that - however, Jess made me feel so comfortable that I legitimately forgot I was naked!! The spray tan for my wedding was even better! I had a lot of skin showing in my dresses and it was a flawless finish.
From start to finish my experience with GetGawJess has been incredible. If you are searching for a knowledgable, professional, and diverse hair and makeup team, I urge you to book with them. Thanks again Jess and team!!

Fabulous Experience with Jessica & Team!
I had a wonderful experience working with Jessica and her team. During my search for a makeup and hair team, I was concerned because of my large bridal party (8 bridesmaids, Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom, Grandmother, & myself). More specifically, I was worried that we would not be done on time. However, from our initial conversation, Jessica put me at ease. She assured me that she worked with talented and professional artists and as the wedding approached, she worked closely with me to develop a schedule that would ensure that we would be done on time. The day of my wedding, Jessica’s team arrived at my hotel room promptly and their talent superseded my expectations. We all looked FABULOUS! I highly recommend GetGawJess, especially if you have a huge wedding party like I did. Rest assured that you will have one less thing to worry about while wedding planning and on that special day.

Fabulous Job
Jessica and her team are amazing. She did my make up for both my bridal shower and wedding. My hair and make up looked great. Never felt more beautiful, they also did an awesome job on my bridal party. They were professional, listened to what we wanted, and made the experience fun. Would definitely recommend Jessica and I would hire her again for another event. -

Better Than Expected
Jess and Sabrina were such a great team! They are of course amazingly talented but also fun to hang out with. They made my vision come to life, all while keeping me calm and distracted from my pre-wedding nerves. Getting quality time with my mom and them was one of my favorite parts of the wedding weekend. -

GetGawJess w/ Jess!!
I was sent Jessica’s IG and immediately fell in love with her work. Jessica and her team are extremely professional, so down to earth and knew my vision for my bridal party and myself. Our makeup & hair lasted a warm May Day all through the night!!
Jessica and her team were very professional due to COVID guidelines, made sure everything was sanitary & was very patient that day. It felt like we all knew each other for a long time as soon as we met. The chemistry she had with me as well as my bridal party was just amazing.
My bridesmaids all have different skin types and hair styles and they all worked efficiently making all of us look stunning. I also want to thank Stacey for covering up one of my bridesmaids tattoo’s for my day.
Jessica & her team were fantastic, highly talented and hilarious to be around. I’m glad they were there to be a part of my special day. I definitely recommend her for events and will use her services in the future! Love you guys -

Perfection!!!!!
I found Jessica through social media. I was looking for a team that would work with all of my ladies' different hair and skin tone. Like many other couples, covid-19 led us to postponed our original plans. Love always wins! & we decided to do a small backyard wedding. Jessica and Sabrina came to my home for the trial and the day of my wedding. They 100% took all the precautions and safety measures. I shared Pinterest looks with them, and they executed my vision on the first try.
I am looking forward to continuing to work with Jessica and her team. I can't wait for all my bridesmaids to get GawJess. -

You will look GawJess all day/night long!
I have been wanting to book Jess for a while, and with my wedding being "canceled" due to COVID, it was putting another delay, but thankfully we decided to do something small, and in less than 15 days notice, my wish came true. My mom and I LOVED the look she gave us. She was on-time, professional, prepared and she just knows what to do. Our makeup looked flawless and stayed on all night. I did not have to reapply or fix anything. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her for future events. -

Jess and her team are absolutely AMAZING!!!! I had previously used her for my bridal shower and just knew I had to work with her again. Her energy is great, her girls are also great! I loved that they were on time and super easy to work with. I am extremely glad that each person from my bridal party felt comfortable with them and they really knew what to do with each persons hair texture and length. I also loved that we each received tips about best makeup products depending on our skin types. :) I would definitely recommend using her and her team for any occasion needed and pricing was extremely reasonable. Gawjess makeup!
They were amazing! Easy to work with, fun and professional. My makeup was everything! I have very straight hair so it's always hard to get my hair like I want it. But Sabrina did a great job. I would highly recommend these ladies! -

I hired Sabrina to do hairstyling for four family members (our moms and sisters). She not only did an incredible job achieving each individual's desired look, but also made the whole process enjoyable for everyone with her beautiful personality. She's an absolute gem! -

I am so delighted I chose these ladies for my day! From the initial conversations, make up trial, and my big day these ladies were amazing! For my make up trial, Jessica (make up artist) and Erica (hairstylist) arrived promptly and took their time to hear what we wanted. I booked them for my wedding day by the end of the trial! THAT'S how much I loved my look, my mother's and maid of honor.
The makeup and hair lasted for hours!!! Airbrush was fantastic! They are true professionals and they really enhance your beauty! This is one of the most important components in a wedding, especially for a bride. I made one of the best decisions to go with Ayari Brides!! -

Ayari brides makeup & hair services are amazing! They really listened and they figured out what I wanted cause I have zero knowledge when it comes to bridal hair and makeup. The trial was awesome cause they made me very comfortable and we played with my hair until I picked what I thought looked great. It has been a pleasure to work with Jess, Erika and their team. Jess was prompt at answering any questions that I had through text or email. First of all, the fact that they come to you for trail is awesome in itself. I showed them the look I was looking for and loved the turnout. The day of the wedding Jess and her team came right on schedule, set up and got right to work. She had coordinated a total of 3 makeup artist and 3 hair stylist to accommodate 10 ladies and a flower girl working with a 4 hour time slot. The ladies were fun, professional and lastly we all looked beautiful! I would highly recommend Ayari’s Brides. Thank you again! -

I got married in November and am so happy that I booked Ayari's Brides for my hair and makeup. Ayari did my makeup and Erica did my hair - my look was perfect and exactly what I wanted! I felt like they truly listened to me and took into account what I wanted, and made my vision come to life perfectly. I felt beautiful all night dancing the night away! Ayari, Erica, Yashira and Candy all did beautiful hair and makeup for my mom, mother-in-law, and bridal party, and everyone was thrilled with their looks. We got married last december in NYC. I heard about Ayari with my wedding planner Amandine Taravellier. Coming from France, I visited Ayari's website and I decided to trust her and her team. She came with Sabrina to our hotel for my wedding make up and hairstyling. Their work was absolutely amazing. They immediately understood what I wanted. I would recommand them to everyone !!! If I can give them a thousand stars I would. Ayari bridals was one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding. I was in contact with them a little over a year before my wedding and they were quick to respond to all of my emails. Plus their prices are very good for everything that you are getting. I decided to book them with one of the packages since I gifted my bridesmaid their hair and make up. Ayari bridal were amazing!!!. Prior to meeting them I sent pictures of hair ideas as well as my hair length and they advised me to purchase clip on extensions and to bring it to the trial. I remember meeting Jessica and Erica after several attempts for the trail and they tried their best to accommodate my schedule the hair and makeup trail went by smoothly and I felt totally comfortable talking to them and working with them. During the trial Jessica advised me to exfoliate my face twice a week and then reduce to once a week to removed any dead skin and also to prevent for the makeup to become cake-y on the day of the wedding and of course I headed to her advice and the day of the wedding my makeup went on smoothly. The day of the wedding, they were very punctual, arrived to the hotel on time with all of their team (when I saw them with their Ayari shirt and suit cases I felt like royalty and also the reality that I am a bride started to sink in). They finished everyone's hair and makeup on time and were just amazing. My wedding party consisted of myself, 7 bridesmaid, my mother, grandmother, and the flower girl. They even accommodated some last minute additions. I love Ayari bridal and I would recommend them to everyone they are professional, reliable and experts in their craft, I hope to hire them again soon for future events. -

I can’t say enough positive things about Ayari and her team. From the trial to the day of the wedding she was always there to answer questions and I felt comfortable with her and her team. They listened to my requests and were punctual and professional. I loved the look she and Sabrina gave me for my wedding, as well as my mother and maid of honor. We all looked beautiful and had a great time. I highly recommend Ayari and her team!

My wedding was 11/12/16 and I was extremely happy with the results delivered by Ayari on makeup and Sabrina on hair. Everyone's hair and makeup was just as they envisioned if not better than we could have imagined! This dynamic duo worked on every detail very diligently and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to look and feel glamorous on their special day!!

I loved the service The Ayari Bride Team provided for me, flower girls, my mother (mob), other bridesmaids and the Bride, my sister. They were punctual and left when everyone was completely done, regardless of their earlier tentative finishing time. They took their time doing our hair and make up and made sure we were happy with our results. I highly recommend The Ayari Brides Team, they have experience with many types of faces and many hair textures. Everyone complimented us and were not shy in telling us how beautiful our hair and make up was.
Vanessa, Erica and Ayari were amazing with the 3 little flower girls!
My mother looked amazing for her last daughters wedding and for that I'll be eternally thankful.

I would highly recommend the trio of Ayari, Vanessa and Erica. As I am the mother of 2 young girls (flower girls) I was pleased to see they have experience with children. The trio responded well to feedback and suggested great styles to my girls. They were professional but, very personal which made for a pleasant experience in a tight hotel room. The makeup was flawless and lasted hours into the night. The hair was done meticulously and when there were variations in styles the trio were adaptable. I highly recommend brides and bridesmaids to hire this team. Lastly the ambience was pleasant as they brought their own music. -

We came from France to marry us in New-York in august. Ayari's team did hair and makeup for my daughter and myself. My daughter ( 15 years old) looked like a princess , it was amazing, and myself too . Everything was really perfect and the team was so nice and kind. Heres our short story...
My boyfriend propose to me in September 2015 and we had no ideas where to get married. Since its always complicated with our family, we were thinking going in a trip to Vegas with our 1 year old baby, only the three of us. Then, we learn that our son would need a little surgery and until he gets it, he should not take the airplane.
So, 3 weeks ago we decided that we wait enough and want to get married. We had a week off at the beginning of July so we start looking for a wedding venue.
Then, New York seems just perfect for us. We booked our hotel, the wedding officiant and the biggest problem was the Hair and make up for the bride, me.
Well, it was a bit stressfull to book everything online and not knowing if it will work well or if i would be fraud by someone...even more not knowing my hairdresser cause i didnt want to look bad on my wedding day! But it was a part of the game to get a last minute wedding!
FINALLY... 6:15am thursday july 7th, two ladies at my hotel door!
Raina and Stacey arrived with that huge smile on their face even if its was very early. They were professional and so generous to me. I cant tell enough how happy i was and they dont know me at all but they made exactly what i wish for. Seriously, i wouldnt imagine a second that it could turn out that way. My look was PERFECT for me and even in my dream i wouldnt expect that much! My day was perfect from beginning to the end!
Seriously, i will be thankful to Raina and Stacey all my life. My wedding pictures will last forever and then ill be proud of how i looked on my special day.

Ayari's team did both hair and makeup for myself (Bride) and my beautiful bridesmaids for my June 2015 wedding. Ayari asked us to provide templates for looks we liked and I was so surprised how the team was able to perfectly execute each lady's style preference to a tee! They kept us all calm by making the entire process fun. The entire team was on time, and stuck to their time allotment for each girl. Which kept the entire wedding on time! My hair doesn't keep curls very well and that was no problem for Sabrina. Not only did my hair keep up the entire night I was able to take out the pins, shake out my updo and had beautiful soft curls for the reception. My makeup lasted all night with little maintenance needed which meant more time for a dress change and dancing. Best part of all Ayari is willing to work with every budget! I loved having Ayari and her team of stylists for my wedding party hair/makeup and would highly recommend them for any event. -

Ayari came through for your big day! My wife and I were so happy with their work. We made sure to do a trial so it allowed them to get to know our tastes and test what we wanted, especially since there would be two brides. Throughout the process they were very communicative and consultative. They could handle what ever kind of dynamic was going on in the room (i.e. when we were nervous wrecks the day of wedding) They remained calm and reassuring. Their work was beautiful and really captured our natural look and highlighted our best attributes. The makeup lasted the whole night (we got airbrushed) and never degraded. Our hair held up too and looked amazing for the day. I would recommend the Ayari team no question. -

Ayari was an absolutely amazing Make up Artist for my wedding. So many people commented on how flawless my makeup was during the wedding well after the wedding had passed! She took my recommendations and did exactly what I asked for. I wanted a natural look that still looked glamorous and that is exactly what I got!
The makeup felt light, lasted all night and looked amazing in all pictures.

What can I say? My girls and I loved working with Ayari and her team. I first met her two years ago when my MOH was looking for a makeup artist for her wedding. After seeing my MOH's hair and makeup trial, I immediately wanted to sign with Ayari and her team for my Engagement Shoot as my trial. My advice for all your girls, trust your makeup artist because they know what they are doing!! At first I thought there was a lot of make up on my face, but it was actually, it was all for the picture. As Ayari commented, it might seem a lot in person but once under the camera you get washed out. After seeing my engagement pictures – she was right, my makeup looked very natural.
Her team worked on all ten of us on my wedding day and not only were they on time, they were also ahead of schedule – leaving a lot of room for touch ups here and there. Ayari’s team made sure all the girls were comfortable with their hair and makeup from beginning to end. All of our hair and makeup stayed on even during a little bit of rain. They are a team you sure want to book with and you won’t regret it. -

On the day of my wedding I was so stressed because the night before there was a snow storm so I felt like nobody was going to come including the makeup artist and hair stylist, but they were on time and very professional. I spent SO much money on several updo trials with some highly rated upscale salons in NYC and can't believe how disappointed I was (and I'm not a hair and makeup obsessed kind of girl, usually anything will do but the trails were just SO bad). Thank god for Ayari and her team, they came to my apartment, did a fabulous job with hair and makeup, really worked with me to make sure I was completely happy which was so nice. We had such an incredible time with Ayari's talented team of friendly and professional girls on our wedding day. My MOH and I met with Ayari and Erica seven months before our wedding; they were so awesome I wanted to sign the contract and lock the date with them right after the trial. I booked Ayari's Brides for my hair and my 6 bridesmaids' makeup. Because we had a morning ceremony and were doing pictures beforehand, the bridesmaids makeup had to start at 5am. Ayari and Kerryann were efficient and got to work as soon as they got there. Most of the BMs wanted "natural" looks and the MUAs made it happen. They all looked great!
Erica did my hair. Before the trial, I told her l that I wanted something with a braid in it and she had a few suggestions for me, which was helpful since I can be very indecisive. The day of she did a great job and my up-do held up well throughout the (very hot) day. I felt like the style went perfectly with my lace dress.
Plus, they put up with my random/disorganized ipod music (one of the many things I didn't get around to doing before the wedding day) so extra points for that ;-) -

I didn't have time for a trial and was told I was crazy by my friends but I put my trust in this team and they did an excellent job. I also got a great deal on my rate as the bride. Ladies, choose a package! Your hair and makeup rate (for the bride) will drop significantly. Me and my bridal party definitely feel like we got what we paid for and more. After reviewing several hair and makeup places I was happy that I chose Ayari's Brides. Not only was she attentive to my needs up until the wedding she and her team were proactive about taking direction when things weren't quit right. On my the big day, their team made us all feel so calm and comfortable and we had a lot of fun. They did hair and makeup on me and 8 of my bridesmaids and everyone looked stunning. My hair and makeup looked flawless and I felt like myself, not over done. One of the most important things to a bride is to feel her best on her special day, Ayari and her team definitely helped me achieve that. -

Ayari and her team did an outstanding job with my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids! They were professional from the very start and just so well prepared. We scored when we booked Erica and Jessie...they work as a dynamic duo...one is working on your hair while the other is applying make-up. Nothing was rushed, just very efficient! We all looked stunning. My hair and makeup stayed flawless throughout the day and evening (about 12 hours!).
I highly recommend Ayari's Brides for weddings or any special event, really. My girlfriends are booking them for her birthday...and I think I will too!! -

Erica and Sabrina did hair for me, four of my bridesmaids and my mom for my wedding a few weeks back and all looked beautiful!
I was extremely indecisive towards the end and Erica had so much patience no matter how many times I changed my mind or if I sent a gazillion pictures - she even talked me off the ledge when I considered extensions (which I don't need since I have enough hair for two people). Ultimately she did a gorgeous down/side wept hairstyle which was exactly what I wanted and I still get so many compliments on my hair! The entire bridal party looked beautiful too including my mom who looked gorgeous :)

I got married on January 5, 2013 and hired Ayari’s makeover, Inc for my makeup and hair. It was the best decision I ever made!!!! I absolutely loved the way Ayari did my makeup and how Erica did my hair! I also loved how Bianca did the makeup on my bridesmaids. The morning of my wedding day they came with a whole hair and makeup team! They made each of my 6 bridesmaids and mother look so beautiful within four hours! They were very professional and were really working with the needs of myself and my bridesmaids. They did such a amazing job from the shades we wanted to the best light-weight lashes I ever wore. I am definitely recommending them to everyone I know and would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!

Ayari’s Bride did my hair/makeup as well as my wedding party’s hair and make up for my September wedding. I could not have asked for a better team. They were on time, and willing to do whatever to make us happy. My wedding party was very large and they were able to stick to the schedule and have everyone done on time, without compromising their look. The team was also able to work together with little explanation to create a beautiful and cohesive look for all of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing!
Jessie and Erica did my hair and makeup and I to quote some of my guests, I looked “breathtaking”. I have to thank Jessie and Erica for that. They did a wonderful job at giving me the exact look I was looking of without much direction. I was complemented the entire night in how natural my makeup looked and how great my hair looked. I highly recommend them for any special event. You will not be disappointed.

I had Sabrina do hair for myself and my bridesmaids and Kristin for makeup for myself and 2 of my bridesmaids. Both were absolutely fantastic to work with and made sure we all got the hair & makeup style we wanted. My bridesmaids and I had a great time getting ready, even with a very early start time. Sabrina worked her magic on my hair and Kristin is amazing at doing makeup - both stayed put through many hours of dancing! And not to mention my bridesmaids all looked stunning. Ayari's Brides were fabulous! Erica and Sabrina did hair me, several bridesmaids, and MOB and MOG. Both were flexible, great with details, and everyone was very pleased with the final look. Hair was finished by about 2pm, and lasted perfectly during outdoor photos and well into the wedding and reception (for about 12 hrs).
Very reasonably priced, too. I would highly recommend them!! -

I am so happy that I chose Ayari 's Brides to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. For New York City, their Hair/Makeup packages are a great value.
On my wedding day I had Erica for my hair and Kristin do my makeup. Both were excellent and I highly recommend them.
Erica has amazing positive energy and was so flexible. When she came for my trial, it was a mere week before the wedding and I had no idea what I wanted my hair to look like. I gave her some vague ideas and she ran with it to give me an unexpected, modern elegant look that I would never have picked myself. She adjusted everything to my liking and really listened to my concerns. I couldn't wait to work with her on the wedding day.
When my big day came, she arrived bursting with excitement that was contagious. All my bridesmaids looked beautiful, young and glamourous and their hair was done exactly as they envisioned. My hair was perfect and for the most part, stayed in place even though I danced like a maniac and it was 100 degrees and humid.
Kristin did my makeup and took the time to ask me questions about the look that I wanted to achieve. When she did my trial, I initially thought the look was too severe and too contoured. Kristin took my feedback and softened my look on the actual day. I felt glowing in my makeup, and I still felt like myself. What impressed me most was that my makeup did not budge even though I bawled my eyes out and sweat profusely throughout the day. Thank you Kristin!
On top of it all, Erica and Kristin were extremely professional and allowed me to relax on my special day. Ayari herself is very responsive and flexible as well. I highly recommend working with Ayari's Brides. It was a great experience.

Erica and Kristine from Ayari's team were fabulous. They worked really well together, doing hair and makeup simultaneously and really made my group and I feel great. Everyone from my teen nieces to my matron of honor to my mom looked gorgeous and our makeup stayed ALL NIGHT LONG!
The girls are super personable and make it fun to sit still for an hour or so. Erica even noticed I had lightened my hair from my trial. I scheduled my trial the day of my Bridal Shower and while we tested the style I wanted she pinned my hair up so that my guests wouldn't actually see my wedding hair. Kristine gave me a softer lip so my makeup was also different from the look I wanted for the big day.
Even though Ayari herself wasn't there she made me feel very secure in her team's hands. She had great packages that worked within my budget and her girls made sure I looked and felt my best.
From my trial to the day of everyone just kept saying how beautiful I looked. My groom loved that it didn't look like I had a ton of makeup on and just looked like a glamorous version of myself, which was exactely what I wanted.

Tamara and Erica worked on my mother, my sister and me on my wedding day and I have to say i am extremely pleased with their work on all three of us! Even though we were behind schedule, the quality of their work was not affected by the time limit. Both were extremely attentive in the look your going for and during trials made any changes requested so they nail your look. Both very sweet down to earth girls so I felt very comfortable with them, which for me is a big plus when working with vendors. Their prices are very reasonable especially since they come to your location and Ayari is always overlooking the entire process from beginning to end to ensure your satisfaction. if you have any questions she gets back to you very quickly which was great. I would definitely recommend their services, you wont be disappointed! -

Ayari Brides provided a fantastic service and experience for me on my wedding day this past April 20, 2012. Jessie was my makeup artist and Erica was my hair stylist. They made me look super glamorous and my make-up stayed on all night. The whole team was punctual, professional, tailored to the different tastes of the various members of the bridal party, and above all provided exceptional service. In addition, I must say that Ayari Brides was a very accommodating vendor. I was supposed to get originally married on June 11, 2011. Due to a death in the family, I had to cancel my wedding two weeks before the date. I must say that was a very difficult and emotional time for me and along with this I had to cancel everything I had planned in 1 year. Ayari Brides was very understanding and returned me back my money at a moment's notice. This was very thoughtful and they made that experience very seamless for me. Given that and the fact that I loved my makeup trial, I decided to keep Ayari Brides as my vendor for my wedding. I must say they lived up to my very high expectations and my need for very specific and timely details. Ayari was AMAZING!!! I just got married in Puerto Rico and I was afraid my makeup was going to fade or sweat off. I did not one bit! Ayari gave me all the attention that I needed and more. It was as if she was on call ready to go if I needed anything to ensure that I was happy on my special day! Ayari even woke up very early the next day to do my trash the dress photoshoot makeup and she came flying when she heard I was stressed about my makeup. I really took too long to write this review, but let me just say that Ayari and her hair stylist Candy were so great with me. I didn't expect to be such a Bridezilla the day of my wedding but it was such an emotional, crazy morning....from tearing off my tiara to crying twice after I had my make up done, but Ayari and Candy were so lovely and professional. Ayari reapplied my makeup twice and Candy fixed my tiara and hair.
I am so grateful that they were so wonderful with me that day and weren't annoyed by my erratic behavior. Ayari is extremely talented and used colors that worked really well with my complexion (I would follow her suggestions if she offers advice on what colors work best / will look nice in pictures) and Candy is amazing also she really cares about how her brides feel and wants them to be happy, she did such a great job with my hair. I got many compliments on my hair and makeup, but I was even more impressed when I saw my proofs and saw how great my hair and makeup looked.

Erica worked on my Bridal party’s hair and they were very happy with the results. The makeup & hair lasted throughout the entire event. Throughout the planning process they were very responsive & professional. They were very accommodating and came on time with a wide assortment of makeup and beauty supplies. They are both delightful ladies who remained cool even when we had some last minute natural Disasters! Hurricane Irene delayed my wedding by one day but thankfully Ayari's Brides was very accommodating and understanding and helped make my day even better than imagined!

With a last minute wedding (less than half a year to plan) the last thing on my list was the make-up and hair. Unfortunately, by the time my search was completed, I wasted a lot of money and time on trials. On my final attempt I came across Ayari’s website, I was skeptical at first because there were not many pictures and the price was more than reasonable compared to the other places I tried. But I learned that although they didn’t have as many pictures or was not the most expensive, they gave the highest quality service. Kristin (makeup artist) was amazing, she was very accommodating, she even came to my home for the trials – which not many places do for the trials. She was extremely attentive and listened to all my concerns. I have acne scars and she was able to conceal all of them very well. I didn’t feel the make-up and it stayed on all night, sweating and all. Erica (hair artist) came along as well and created a masterpiece on my head. They both have a lot of experience and it definitely showed in their work and on top of that you will receive people that you can communicate with easily and probably gain two friends out of it like I did. I am truly grateful for all the work they did! -

Although I only hired her for a makeup trial, I was comfortable hiring her hair stylist as well after my great experience. She arrived with hair and makeup team who actually were great and speedy. I was worried a little because I gave them a short time frame to work with but they managed to get all 4 of us ready with makeup and hair in less than 2 hours! AMAZING! proving they work great under pressure. I loved everything about our hair and makeup! -

I received airbrush makeup from Ayari's Brides for my wedding two months ago. Ayari was easy to reach via phone and text messages and very accomodating. Her price for a bride was similar to most that I found except that she didn't have a minimum number of people required. I only had three bridesmaids and none needed makeup only me.
On my wedding date, Ayari arrived before our set time and was ready with her tools. I have good skin so not too much coverage was needed. Ayari's makeup turned out beautiful since she used great colors. It also lasted all night so that when I took pictures with family near the end of the reception I still looked great. I wasn't sure whether to go with the lashes or not so Ayari gave me the option of deciding on the spot. After seeing how nice they looked, I opted for the lashes.
Having Ayari do my makeup was a great experience. I had never done my makeup professionally before and was a bit afraid since I have friends who go to the MAC counters and come out with too much makeup. I was glad that based on our discussion, Ayari was able to decide what look would be good on me.

I was extremely pleased with the hair and makeup provided by Ayari and her team. They arrived on time (actually a bit earlier which gave me extra time in the end to just relax) and she was extremely professional and affordable. We did a trial a month before my wedding, and I decided to go with her after 3 other trials I had done. She listened to my needs and did my makeup exactly like the photo I showed her. Maybe even better! -

I worked with Bianca of Ayari's Brides for my bridal makeup on my wedding day. I do not usually wear a lot of make up and was concerned about looking too "made up" on my special day. Bianca did a fabulous job and I loved the outcome. It was the perfect balance for me. Ayari, the owner, was my primary point of contact prior to the event and she was always very responsive to my emails and I was planning an elopement in NY from IN. I did not have an opportunity to trial their services beforehand but was VERY pleased with the outcome. -

I used Ayari's Brides to do my hair and make-up. I had them do a trial run 2 months before my wedding, Sabrina did my hair and Bianca did my makeup. They did a great job. They were very attentive and open to me constantly changing my mind. A week before the wedding, I was emailing Ayari back and forth because of last minute changes to bridesmaid and she was very patient and continued to work with all the changes. On the big day, Sabrina and Bianca were early and they did both of my bridesmaids and then me and once again did a outstanding job. They made me feel like a movie star. I truly appreciate the hard work and patience of Ayari Brides. Thank You so much. My hair and makeup was a big hit. -

Ayari brides was the perfect beauty vendor for my wedding. They were prompt in getting back to me, flexible with consultation times and even drove out to my house in staten island for my wedding. Always on time they made me look beautiful on my big day and the makeup was so secure it made it through the ceremony through the reception and even into my wedding night. I looked amazing ghr entire time worth the money. I never worried about my makeup wearing off. They were great. -

Last Minute Heroes!
I was referred to GawJess LESS than TWO WEEKS before my wedding and not only was I praying for a miracle by then but I was also unwilling to settle for anything that didn’t align with God’s purpose for me. I was a week and a half away from walking down the aisle bare-faced and in my natural chemically damaged hair!! I had spoken with six other folks for hair and makeup in the year and a half that I had been planning the wedding and no one seemed to be easy to get in touch with after our initial contact, able to provide both hair and makeup, be available for the wedding date, and/or gel with what I was looking for. Jessie was a true blessing and a breath of fresh air, she was so knowledgeable and warm during our Facetime consult that I booked her immediately without a trial. I sent over the looks for me and my party and when I tell you that she understood every concern and every question, I mean that she knew about hair that wouldn't keep curls, oily faces, and what was necessary to doll up my 74-year-old grandma. Her contract was easy to review and sign, payments were easy to make, and I was able to reach her super quickly the times I had questions/concerns. On the day of the event Jessie (Makeup) & Sabrina (Hair) were right on time, prepared, and agile. These girls were friendly, professional, understanding, and every positive adjective you can think of! I could rant and rave about their service and skills all night but the most important thing is that they touched-up and changed every grievance that my very picky maid of honor, mom and grandmother had AND they hooked me up with makeup removal wipes and eye gel patches for aftercare! Their work on me is the one thing that finally made me feel like a bride after COVID waylaid our original wedding plans. On top of that, all of our looks were showstoppers!! Mom and grandma looked just as good as I did, which was something that I was very adamant about, and the guests are still talking about it! I would 10/10 recommend these ladies and they are definitely in my contacts for any and all future events. -
