Sam was delightful to work with, and as many others say, his prices can not be beat - he does this because he LOVES it and doesn't take advantage of your money. My now husband and I wanted a simple two-tiered cake. He made it exactly as we desired. He invited us over to his home to try the cake flavor we chose to make sure we liked it, filled out a form, and then even though we didn't hear anything from him for a while, when we texted to check in as the day was arriving, he was very responsive, and on the big day the cake was delivered and looked more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and tasted delightful! One of our only wedding day regrets was that we didn't have more of this cake! We may reach out on our anniversary to have another one made just for us! :D Such a kind man, such a great company! Well worth your time - if you're questioning, this is your sign to just move forward with Sam! He is so talented. I can't say enough good about this company! -

My sister had planned her wedding with two receptions the first on Christmas Eve and the second on December 28th of last year. The week before the wedding her original cake artist got sick and bailed. In a frantic search for ANYONE to make a cake that quickly during the holidays I google I need a great wedding cake quick and found awesome wedding cakes cheap.com. When I got ahold of the artist he was sympathetic, helpful and turned what could have been chaos and a sad bride into something easier, more beautiful and WAY more delicious than it would have been the other way. So easy to work with and better pricing than we originally had plus he was more than willing to let me pick the cake up on Christmas Eve on my time frame. Such amazing costumer service and left such a lasting impression that one year later we’re making this review because we keep talking about the cake and business. -

User2193952 Sent on 06/23/2015I used Awesome Wedding Cakes Cheap for my recent wedding and I am so happy I did! My cake looked beautiful and it tasted great, too. I really wanted buttercream frosting and no fondant for my cake and that is exactly what Sam specializes in. I had a great experience working with Sam - he wanted to do exactly what I wanted and delivered the cake right on time with zero problems. For what you get, I don't think there is a better value in wedding cakes. And it tastes wonderful! Sam was very responsive to messages - we mainly communicated through Facebook but I never had a problem reaching him. I would definitely recommend this vendor to others.

User1396170 Sent on 10/23/2013This is just a family who makes wedding cakes. I found this place online and never spoke to or saw them til the day of. It was a risk, I know. I had worked things out through email and text. They have basic flavors to choose from, I didn't go taste test or anything because I didn't have time. I just sent pictures and directions of what I wanted. My mom had taken them the ribbon a couple weeks before the wedding. Then the day of this lady showed up right on time with the cake and it was awesome. Exactly how I wanted it to look. And it tasted great. And was plenty for my guests. It was only $200 plus like a $40 delivery fee (super reasonable) up to West Jordan for a 3 tier cake. http://awesomeweddingcakescheap.com/ The website looks like this place sucks but it worked out so perfect for our wedding on a tight budget. -

If you're interested, you may see the entire conversation thread while ordering the cake and the aftermath. I followed her instructions carefully as I always do. I delivered a beautiful cake in a timely manner. In over 1000 cakes I have never deviated from what a bride wants her cake to look like.
