I can not compliment Randy enough. The moment I met him and got to see all his setups and hear the quality I knew I wanted him as our DJ. Randy went above and beyond to coordinate with myself (the bride), my groom, bridal party, reception coordinators, wait staff, family, friends, and everyone else involved. He is meticulous with details and makes sure everyone is having an extraordinary time. I was getting compliments all night that he was the best DJ people have seen. On top of all that the sound quality was superb. Regardless if you were very near or far from the speakers it was crisp and clear! Thank you so much Randy for making the night that much more special. Your passion for what you do was noticeable the moment we met you and you followed through up until the last moments. Spectacular!

Randy and Bill are amazing at what they do. During our initial meeting with Randy, it was obvious he truly enjoys what he does. Bill was very easy to talk to and he made planning go smoothly. Their online planner was easy to use and it was fun to listen to short music clips while planning.

Bill and Randall from Awesome DJs were so helpful throughout the whole process from our initial questions, first meeting, emails back and forth to the night of the wedding. Randall's son, Randy, had been the DJ at my sister-in-law's wedding and we knew we had to have Awesome DJs and Photobooth at our own wedding. Once we met with Randall and he demonstrated what his sound system could do we definitely knew we wanted to upgrade. Everyone does a phenomenal job, but Randall really has his business down to a science. He knew just what to play to have all ages of guests out on the dance floor. Attending many weddings in the past two years, we have seen some really unprofessional DJs. What was most reassuring was that Randall was listing off things he would never do before, during or after a wedding reception, and we had just seen a DJ do all of the above the previous weekend at a friend's wedding! Randall was a true professional throughout the whole process. Working with Bill was also extremely easy as he is an immediate communicator and answered all of our questions throughout the process as well. We loved the photobooth, and so did all of our guests. The memory book of all of the photos is definitely a great keepsake (and the photos were a part of our wedding favors as well!). While DJs often get flak for not playing every single person's requests at a wedding, Randall did his best to appease our long list of requests as well as the requests of our families and friends the day of. Throughout the night he came up to us a few times just to make sure that everything was going well and that we were having a fun time. We would highly recommend anyone from this company to DJ and capture your memories in a photobooth at your wedding or event!

Bill from Awesome DJ's did a great job at our son's reception. He was easy to work with prior to the event and in the days leading up to the event. The web site he provided for us was simple to use and it all went off without a hitch. He kept the dance floor jumping all night. All of our requests were played. He made it known that this was our son's wedding and he did not try to take the limelight away from them. I would recommend him for any events you may be considering.

Bill was our DJ from Awesome DJs, and from the moment we contacted them until the day of our wedding he was so on top of his game! Every email we sent him was answered immediately, and he even gave us his personal cell phone number so if we had any questions we could text/call him to get a response even more promptly. On top of his amazing professionalism, we were blown away by how wonderfully he ran our reception. Our dance floor was PACKED the entire night, and that was because Bill really understood what we wanted, kept checking in with my husband and I on music we wanted to hear, and really paid attention to the online form we filled out and the conversations we had prior to the wedding. We knew that the DJ can make or break a wedding, and Bill and Awesome DJs totally made ours. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Randy is a phenomenal DJ! He definitely was very helpful and cooperative to ensure the style of music that we wanted. He is very personable and made our wedding a blast! The quality of the music was excellent, too, as you could actually hear the music but talk to someone at the same time.

We used Awesome DJs & Photobooth for their Photo Booth services for our wedding. They were very professional and prompt, and they went above and beyond to work with us in a smaller space. The staff was super friendly and made it really fun for all the guests. The Photo Booth was definitely one of the highlights of the evening and our guests loved using it.

I cannot speak highly enough of Awesome DJs. They earned their name every step of the way. Randy was a pleasure to work with. He has been doing this for a while and you can tell he is passionate about ensuring that you and your guests have the best time possible. From his wealth of experience he had many thoughtful suggestions that we had not considered, and he was never pushy or condescending. All of his suggestions were quite helpful and made our reception run smoothly the whole time, with no dull moments or dead spots. He was also familiar with the venue of our reception (Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, IL), and helped ensure that all of our guests could hear the speeches and toasts. We got their basic package, with a photo booth and additional wireless speakers, and it was all very reasonably priced. The staff running the photobooth were super friendly, and they got some truly wonderful pics of family and friends. All in all it was a flawless night. Awesome DJs is (are?) indeed awesome. From the moment we got our quote from them to the end of our reception they were easy and wonderful to work with. Book them if you can. You'll be glad you did.

Awesome DJ's truly lived up to their name. They were very helpful when asked a question and responded in a very timely manner when asked. I can't tell you how many compliments we received on the DJ & Photo Booth. Throughout the night of the wedding, both the DJ & the photo booth assistant were coming up to myself and my husband asking if we were satisfied and if there was anything more they could do. I was in awe of their kindness and their hard work. They made our wedding a spectacular event.

We could not be happier with Awesome DJS & Photobooth! Bill DJ'd our wedding and Becky ran the photobooth at our wedding on 10/17 :) Not only were they fun but they were so professional. My husband and I were completely impressed at our first meeting with Randy & Bill and the professional presentation they have in their studio. They have clearly been doing this for years and it shows :) The had a website where we could select songs, fill in important information, make payments etc. Plus Bill met with us again before the wedding reviewed names, songs, and final details I hadn't even thought of! They are exactly what they say...AWESOME!!!! Bill understood the exact kind of music we wanted to play and kept the floor packed all night. It's been almost two weeks since the wedding and we are still being told what an awesome time people had :) Thank you AWESOME DJs & Becky for being absolutely wonderful :) Jayson and I will be recommending you services to all of our friends getting married in the next upcoming years! :)

Randall with Awesome DJs helped make our wedding one of the best events ever! Randall commanded the ship and I wish there was a higher rating that I could give them. We were impressed the first day we met him for a face to face consultation. Randall welcomed my parents and I into his home studio with great hospitality and superb professionalism. After a few questions and just a get to know session we were already thinking that our first choice was it. The mere fact that we were able to sample his DJ capability and actually see his elite equipment on the spot simply sealed the deal. My eclectic choices in music did not seem to Phase Randall at all.
On the day of our wedding 08.15.15 Randall greeted us and let's just say took the wheel so that he could spin. He did more than just DJ he owned the schedule for the day! Randall made it a point to know all the key players of our BIG day and coordinated it all as if he was with us all year long as we planned our wedding.
There was not a beat that was missed and the lighting equipment that Randall brought with him made what I thought was an already breath-taking establishment glow with hues of color that accented all the choices chosen for our wedding day. The music was PHENOMENAL and satisfied genre favorites from R&B, Oldies, SOCA, Caribbean, Pop, Rock, Raggae, Funk and the latest trends. Randall I just want to thank you and Awesome DJs for a wonderful experience; it was well worth the price and Marvin and I were extremely pleased.

Awesome DJ's helped make our wedding day perfect. We felt we got more than just a DJ when booking with Awesome DJ's. Randy was the DJ we had at our reception and he was absolutely perfect. All of our guests complemented on his music selection, and overall presentation. We felt we got more than just a DJ with Randy, but also a wedding planner. He had everything planned out perfectly for our reception. Once we arrived we did not have to worry about a thing. He eliminated all the stress of the reception by telling us where and when we needed to be places. He was always checking in with us to make sure everything was going as planned. He also worked the room to ensure all of our guests were having a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommended anyone planing a wedding to meet with Awesome DJ's and if possible request Randy to host your event. You will not be sorry. Thanks again Randy!!!!

I have never left a review on anything in my life, but my recent experience with Awesome DJs needs to be known:
I recently had my wedding on 10.10.15! Let me just say - Bill (DJ) and Leanne (Photobooth) were AMAZING! Honestly, I wish the rating system was higher.
Bill, from the very start, was on top of everything. He's extremely organized and helps just as much as you need him to. We had A TON of surprises and changes that we had to make day of and Bill just ran with it. We also had a ton of questions and random things we wanted to try. He always picked up his phone and answered his emails and he NEVER got frustrated, or made me or my husband feel like we were bothering him. He also played GREAT music and had the dance floor going all night.
Bill has a great attitude and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not to mention, that he is EXCELLENT at what he does. All of our friends and family commented on how great the music was!! Leanne was also really great. Her and Bill make for a great team. Leanne was constantly smiling, and encouraging people to get in the photo booth. She never seemed bored, or like it was just a "job". Between the two of them, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend.
Our day would not have been the same without them. Everything ran so smoothly, and I can honestly say that Bill and Leanne played a huge part in that. 5 stars every day, all day. Worth EVERY penny.

Awesome DJs was a dream to work with! They worked around our crazy schedule and they were so friendly and professional. After our first meeting with them we felt very confident in their company and in their services. Randall DJed our wedding and he was phenomenal! He is VERY tallented and he listened to all of our wishes and requests. He checked other people's requests with us and checked in with us several times throughout the night to make sure we were happy and see if he needed to change anything up. We didn't have to worry about the music because he was great at reading the crowd and deciding what to play. He even pretty much read our minds at the end of the night when we wanted some songs from our favorite movies (Baby Mama and Bridesmaids). NAILED IT!!

We booked Awesome DJs for our wedding on July 18th, 2015. Immediately I received a phone call from Randy regarding setting up a meeting in order to see if they would be a good fit for us. I truly appreciated their honesty and advice and knew immediately I can trust them as they were not trying to just get us to sign. I was a little nervous with booking a DJ due to having multiple cultures that involved different genres of music needing to be played- Randy and Tom calmed my nerves and assured me they would do whatever needed to be done in order to get all the music requested- Which they did. We had Tom as our DJ and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Tom kept the crowd on the dance floor and transitioned between different genres of music (Spanish, country, oldies, hip-hop, Elvis, etc...) PERFECTLY! Everyone is still talking about how great the music was! Honestly- Book them... You will NOT be disappointed! I would recommend them 100%!

I discovered Awesome DJs at a wedding convention. They were literally the only company there who wasn't pushy trying to sell their products that day which told me something. To be honest, they were a little over what we had budgeted for a DJ but we also knew that a good DJ will make the party and we are super happy we went with them!!! The music was spot on and our guests had a great time dancing the night away. There was literally not a song where the dance floor wasn't packed. We went with Randall and he helped with the flow of the night and kept us on schedule but also changed easily at our request. He had a great personality and wanted to ensure our night was exactly as we wanted. He was able to download songs on the spot if they weren't in his library. The songs blended well into each other. I can honestly not say enough good things about them. There was not a negative experience involved. Thank you so much to Awesome DJs, and Randall, for making the night awesome!

I can't even explain to you how great and professional these guys are to work with from day one. Absolutely awesome. I found them from a recommendation from Dinolfo's Banquets in Homer Glen. These guys really know what they were doing. I was in contact with Bill and Randy the whole time. My maid of honor and I went to Randy's house and he his garage converted into an amazing studio. We were blown away in minutes. Before we even heard his set, Randy had the perfect demeanor and was so accommodating to what we wanted. The equipment was so high tech and up to date with an awesome light show. The photo booth was so much fun at our wedding. They had an online planner which made it so easy to plan our whole time line in depth as well as pick our music. On the day of the wedding, Randy was a killer MC, pumping up our guests, our introduction was great and organized for such a large wedding party and people danced the whole night. I am so thankful to them for helping making our wedding day the best. Stop looking now, they seriously are the best.

Bill with Awesome Djs was AMAZING! We had a great experience with the planning process with him. He understood what we wanted and definitely delivered the day of the wedding. He did the music for our ceremony and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Our wedding couldn't have been as perfect as it was without him!! If you want a dj to sit at a standard white table and punch buttons onto a keyboard look somewhere else, because Bill is a REAL DJ!! Other than saying our vows music was the most important part, and Awesome Dj's really made the night, my mom didn't get off the dance floor all night!!! We couldn't have gotten more compliments. We used the Photo Booth service. Bill was great to work with and supports Veterans. My husband served our country for 8 years with 3 tours and this was a huge plus when selecting them over other companies. Bill was on top of getting a contract and coordinating with our venue. The Photo Booth Attendant, Brittany, was super fun and interactive with our guests. We were very pleased!

Awesome DJ's provided us with a fabulous reception at our wedding!! Not only did Randy care about our guests, but he coordinated our reception to keep us on time! He related to what our guests wanted to hear and even communicated with our guests to make sure the sound wasn't too loud or too soft !!! We did a lot of searching for DJ's and the grooms cousin recommended Randy Ridderhoff of Awesome DJ's. We found their pricing was competitive, and they were well rated. Randy was great to work with, clearly had a lot of experience, and provided a great service. You could tell he truly enjoyed what he was doing, and that reflected in the quality he provided. He was flexible and listened to our music recommendations. At one point he started playing a genre that we preferred not to hear during the dinner, but we asked for a change of pace and he transitioned well into a style we wanted. He's definitely a master of his craft. He had a huge musical selection, and also did a great job as emcee. I would recommend him to anyone.

Awesome DJs was great! I don’t even know how to begin, I will start with the initial meeting. Not only did they show you the prices and helped recommending what you should add to make your experience better they offered to show you their equipment in their test room. This was awesome to hear the equipment. From their we met with the DJ a couple times, all these times they were extremely flexible and could meet you wherever you wanted. He asked us some simple questions and we spoke on the phone a couple times just clarifying what we wanted and if we had any questions. It was great to have a DJ that was concerned and you could tell they loved what they did. The whole time we knew our night would be awesome thanks to the DJ. It was the most stress less part of the wedding planning I thought. They helped take care of everything and knew how to run it. The night could not have been more smooth and enjoyable. The dance floor was never empty and I don’t think their was ever under 30 guests out their at one time. People kept telling us how much they loved the DJ and how great of a job he did. They thought they could have danced till 3 am if they could have. Believe me, hire Awesome DJs and let them do their thing, they know how to read a crowd, and play music to fit the crowd and keep everyone enjoying themselves. We discovered Awesome DJs at a friend of ours wedding a few years earlier. My wife isn't a big dancer but she was on the dance floor the entire night and they brought such great energy! We had a big mix of guests and EVERYONE had a good time! He played so many types of music but kept the dance floor full until the end. We finally shut the wedding down at midnight and almost 2/3 of our guests were still there because they were having so much fun. The DJ had a lot to do with this! We would recommend them to anyone who's looking for great energy and a fun wedding!

My husband and I considered Awesome DJs because we saw them at a friends wedding and thought the DJ was great!! We met with Randy and he went over everything they had to offer. He played music on both of their systems, so it was easier for us to choose which was best for us and our venue. We booked right away! They provide you with a very helpful online planner which gives you song suggestions for everything from first dance to bouquet toss to most requested. We met with Randall our DJ one week prior to the wedding to go over our playlist and announcements, so that we were all on the same page. We told him what kind of style we like, what we didn't like, etc. EVERYTHING was great!! The dance floor was packed the whole night ( A friend said to me, "This DJ is making it very hard for me to leave the dance floor to go get a drink!") which is awesome! Randall is the best and kept communicating with us all night to make sure we were happy with everything. Definitely recommend this company!

We also booked the photo booth which is available to test out when you first meet to choose your package. The photo booth was a hit as well and the attendant they provide was very nice and helpful.

So many compliments at the end of the night and even weeks after!

The DJ ( Bill Hefner ) not only played music but was one of the most gracias persons we had the pleasure to deal with up to and including the reception. He was very professional in all aspects during the reception making our very special night flow very smoothly regards the toasts, introductions, music ( planned and requested during the night ). I would not use any other service regards a DJ as Bill and Awesomedjs are one of the best in the business.

The planning was fun for me, to have so much freedom to make or add special changes that were importnat to us. Also I loved how the night flowed, he did not rush us. We booked DJ Randall for our wedding in July and absolutely LOVED his work. The dance floor was packed the entire night and we received countless compliments on how great a job he did. He accommodated all of our requests and helped the entire night move extremely smoothly - almost working as a reception coordinator as we did not hire one for the night.

Initially spoke with Randy who was awesome (no pun intended). Bill Hefner was our DJ for the evening...we met with him prior to the event to go over the timeline and specs...he was amazing throughout, above and beyond!!
It is difficult to find excellent customer service at a reasonable price now-a-days, but if that is what you are looking for than search no more.

Throughout the planning process our DJ, Bill, demonstrated the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. It was so reassurring to see in his notes at one of our meetings that he had written questions of information we had written down to share with him. It showed just how prepared he was, even long in advance of the event. Looking back on the reception, I realize now that I never had to worry at any moment about our proceedings, because Bill had thought everything out well in advance and had everything under control. With poise and respect at all times, he kept us on schedule, kept our photographer, videographer and room captain up to the minute and kept the music and the whole event flowing wonderfully. This allowed us to enjoy our day that much more. It was easy to entrust Bill and Awesome DJ's with our day, because we could tell from the beginning, all the way through to the end, that they took us seriously, treated us with the utmost care and attention, and did everything they could to make our day the best it could be. They were successful and we are so grateful to both Bill and Awesome DJ's.

Randy kept our party going all night long and played all the music we asked of him. He was accommodating and very professional. He even made our wedding hall purple with lights! Awesome DJ's was amazing to work with. I met Randy at a Bridal Expo and his fun and energetic personality is what grabbed my attention immediately!!! I booked an appointment with him and my fiancé and I went to his house on a Saturday morning. He was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. He was also very willing to work with us to give us what we wanted within a budget that we could afford. The final meeting with Randy was very reassuring as he went over everything with us and explained the reception from start to finish. On the day of the wedding we were stress free and Randy took care of everything. All of our guest complemented him and what a great job he was doing and that he was playing great music (we left the playlist very open for Randy to do anything to make sure our guests were having fun).
I would definitely recommend Awesome DJ's to not only to my family and friends but to ANYONE getting married. This company really lives up to it's name.

Well to start, our first meeting with Randy was Awesome no pun intended. We knew right from the get go that he and his staff were experienced and very professional. They were willing to work with us on price, and the wedding night turned out perfect. Randy did all the work and me and my bride had nothing to worry about all night. DJ Randall (the son) knows his stuff!!!!!! He is amazing and has a wonderful announcing voice!!! haha. He is so chill and relaxed which made him very easy to work with. LOVED Awesome DJs. Randall was great - easy to get along with, competent, very helpful. Their online manager makes planning more organized and they were always very accomodating of our requests. Randall had great suggestions during planning and the day of. The reception music was fantastic - several guests complimented us on our DJ. The dance floor was never empty. It's important to have a good DJ since aside from the obvious, they work closely with your reception venue and photographer to make sure everything runs seamlessly, which Randall definitely did. I highly recommend them!

Awesome DJ's did my June wedding and it was great. I first discovered Awesome DJ's at a wedding expo. Just by agreeing to meet with them they agreed to give me a discount if I signed with them. When we had our appointment we met with Randall who is the owner. He took the time to go over each package and even spun at each table so we could get a feel on how each table was unique and different. We were unsure about getting a photo booth and up lights but Randall worked with our budget and made it possible. The website was really easy to figure out as far as entering your music selection and making suggestions . It allows you to select a must play list, a want list, and a do not play list and offers you a list of popular wedding songs o you don't have to think to much about it. Then 2 weeks before the wedding he met with us to discuss final details and made it super easy for us. Our actually wedding night was great. The dance floor was packed all night and we got so many compliments about our DJ. I think several of our friends even took his card to book for their own upcoming wedding. I can only speak highly of Awesome DJ's and would definitely recommend them.

I am so glad I discovered Awesome DJ's & Photobooth! I was referred to them by a friend who used them at her wedding, and I thought they were great then! Meeting the owner Randy was a complete delight and he was very friendly and helpful with suggestions and planning. My actual DJ, Bill was awesome! All of the meetings before the wedding he made me feel very assured that he knew what he was doing! He kept the dance floor full all night! The photobooth attendant Leanne was so sweet. I got married in July so this review is a little past due! My wife and I had Randall as our DJ and he was great. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We had a slammed dance floor all night long. Randall played everything we wanted and his equipment and sound was incredable. We had so many compliments on how good our DJ was and how good the music was. We have been to a few weddings who since, also of people who attended our wedding, and they even commented to us and said they wish they had met Randall and used him for their wedding. They were AWESOME, no pun intended.

Randy is an amazing DJ!!!! I met him 1 year before my wedding while at a Bridal Show in Glen Ellyn next to his shop and since he is located right next to where the show was at I got to see his booth and sample his music and see what a true professional he is! He has a very unique LED DJ Booth that changes colors during dancing and stays solid during dinner which is great! He truly made our reception so memorable and played music that would get the non-dancers to get up on the dance floor. Everyone raved about him the entire reception and asked me for his information. Not only is he an AWESOME DJ... he is a wonderful person and very easy to talk to and get along with! I would recommend him to everyone I know in need of a DJ! RANDY IS THE BEST!!!!!

We recently used randy with awesome djs for our wedding. It was everything we hoped for. Randy took the time to sit down and go through everything we wanted and showed us examples of what it would be like the day of. Anything we needed before the wedding day he took care of. Everyone had such a blast at our wedding. A wedding is about the two people getting married and we were able to make it us through the music. Randy provided the music for our ceremony and reception. The ceremony was smooth and beautiful. The music selection was awesome. He was on top of things all night. We also used the photo booth through awesome djs and it was a huge hit. Our guests raved on how much they loved it. Bill ran the booth and he was so much fun. Everybody that I met through awesome djs was very friendly and helpful. Finding the right DJ for your wedding is tough, but Randall at Awesome DJs was the best. From our first visit I knew that he would be perfect to DJ our wedding. We also rented the photobooth from Awesome DJs. All our guest were either on the dance floor or in the photobooth. I can't say enough about how great Randall was. All our requested song were played, he took request and played them, he would check with us throughout the night to see if we needed anything or if we wanted something else played. Plus Randall knows his music you give him one line from a song and he comes up with the song. After the wedding all our friends and family kept telling us that the music was great and the photobooth was a total hit. Plus with the photobooth we got to take home an album of all the pictures that were taken in there throughout the night and our guests could write us message on the pages- one of our favorite wedding presents.

Awesome DJ's name fits them perfectly. We picked Randy for our DJ. My husband and I visted about 5 different DJs. My husband said that Awesome DJ's had the best sound system out of all them. Their presentation was fantastic, very nice, neat and organized. Randy is also a very down to earth guy. We had family turmoil right before our wedding and Randy really worked with us alot. I can't thank him enough for doing that. He just kept telling me that we are going to have a great party and that is exactly what we had. Randy was amazing! We chose the higher end package for our DJ and had Randy be our DJ himself for our October wedding at Dinolfos in Homer Glen. Their name just about sums it up...our DJ was AWESOME!!! We had DJ Randall, who I do believe might just be my husband's musical soul-mate ^-^ lol Picking a dj was the hardest part for us because my husband and I are very picky music people and had originally planned to have an iPod wedding just so we could pick each and every song. Basically, my husband didn't want any songs that could've been played on the overhead music at the grocery store....lol We also had very specific requests for our ceremony music that involved video game music, reception music that included inside joke songs, Japanese pop music and a family dance to Steve Martin's "King Tut". DJ Randall was up for anything and everything, with much enthusiasm ^-^. At one point, our wedding party decided to surprise us by forcing us to sing a duet of a song from the musical Sweeney Todd, and our DJ was more than happy to play along.

He kept the dance floor full the whole night, and I do mean that literally. The best man came up to me at one point and made the comment that he'd never been to a wedding where the dance floor was full and active at the BEGINNING of the evening before. ^-^ We got nothing but comments from guests about how much fun our wedding was. It was the best wedding they'd ever been to, we kept hearing. Basically, DJ Randall rocks!

I worked with Randy and he did an amazing job. I had previously seen his company DJ for another wedding and was very pleased with it. When I met with Randy and talked to him and listened to his past stories of DJing I knew he would be the right fit for me. His studio that he had was very professional and even had a sound room with different choices of what he offers. he will play you songs and show you what each package has to offer. After I signed with him i received a web site that I did everything from - it was so easy and convenient! You were able to pick all the songs that you wanted to hear, didn't want to hear and also choose your dances right there. Once everything was picked you submitted the list and that was it! I was very happy with his service. I had told him from the beginning that my biggest concern was the volume - I do like loud music but I am also concerned about my grandparents that will most likely not like that. There was only one time that I did ask him to turn it down a bit, and that was it. There were never any other problems. He would come and check with me every once in a while to see how everything was going. I had so many people come up to me and say that he did a wonderful job. At one point I saw one of my uncles dancing and afterwords he told me that this was the first wedding in 30 years that he had actually danced at! A Sound Solutions did a fantastic job and I would recommend this company to anyone!

Randy from A Sound Solution was AMAZING! My husband and I loved working with him. From the first moment we met him, we felt completely at ease. We really liked his style. He (and the rest of his employees) are the type of D.J.s who do not put on a big show. The day is about the bride and groom- not about an attention grabbing D.J., which is why the style of A Sound Solution was so appealing to us. Choosing him as our D.J. was the least stressful part of our wedding.

During the dinner, we had some old jazzy tunes playing. During the dancing, Randy felt out the crowd and just played the music based on what was getting people out of their seats. The floor was always filled and people kept approaching me and my mom raving about the music.

The best part about working with Sound Solution was that our D.J. acted not only as the guy who played music, but also as the stage manager who completely orchestrated the reception. At the beginning when our giant wedding party (with VERY difficult and LONG names) was about to enter, Randy went down the line and phonetically wrote down the names of each of the twenty people to be sure to say them correctly. Then he took charge and ran the rest of the evening. He took the responsibility of communicating with the reception hall people, the photographer, and us each time a "moment" would happen. It was such a relief to us and our parents to not have to worry about when and who was involved when we cut our cake. Randy took care of that completely.

A Sound Solution had awesome equipment (sound and lighting) and millions of songs, but we picked them to be a part of our wedding because we loved their style, professionalism, and personality.

We loved Awesome DJ's!!!! Louie was WONDERFUL AND ENTERTAINING himself. Very professional from the day we met for a consult, through the wedding day itself.Louie knows how to "read" the dance crowd and continue the music that works. Most of the people at the reception were from 17 thru 65 yrs. He got them all up and dancing. When I run into people who came, they still rave about how they think we had the best DJ they had ever seen at a reception. I was impressed when we first met the owner Randall and his son Randy and Louie at their studio. They took a lot of time discussing what we wanted and then took us into sound proof studios to listen to their equipment. The only con was, when I tried to get a hold of them by email their response time was slow. But, when I called, Randall always answered and took his time. Hire them, you will not be disappointed!!!!! Thanks Louie!!

Awesome DJ's works in conjunction with Fantastic DJ's and the name is how we would describe our experience. DJ John did a really good job to not play any songs that we did not want to hear. He met with us on two prior occasions to get the music right and to pronounce the complex names of our family members. Always very professional and did a great job with the music. The upgraded speaker system was just the right size for the room we had and the sound was crisp. The 16 up lights were perfect and were an added bonus.

Photobooth could use more props. Also the initial on the pictures was wrong, this should have been checked and fixed before the reception began. So instead of a K all the photos have a S.

Randy was absolutely amazing to work with and has an awesome personality! I had my wedding this past Friday 8.1.14. He did our ceremony and reception music and it was perfect. He listened to our needs and also threw in some of his own ideas that worked well with what we wanted. He kept us and the crowd on the dance floor the whole night! The sound system and lights really made it work! He made sure that the bridal party was also pleased with their introduction songs. He had a clear, loud voice when speaking and did not blabble on the mic like some Dj's do. He let us listen to the music and enjoy! I def recommend Randy and awesome Dj's!!!

When we met with Randall we were blown away by his knowledge of music, especially hip-hop and R&B. We were going to have a mixed crowd (age and races) at our reception and wanted a DJ who could cater to everyone. We left our initial meeting with him, feel as though we had booked a music expert who could do just that. We utilized their online planning system to provide details on our music selections for the ceremony and reception. We spent a lot of time coming up with music selections for our reception, and were quite disappointed when we realized he had only played about 10% of what we spent weeks selecting. Additionally, during dinner we requested multiple times to have the music selection changed to more upbeat music, as what what being played was rather slow and not engaging, and our request was never honored. The music selection delivered at our reception was quite muted from the upbeat and charged up diverse music we were wowed with during our meeting. A DJ has the power to control the flow of the evening, and he started off our event on a rather mellow tone, and it didn't pick up too much across the evening. Randall was an amazing MC for our reception, we had just hoped for a more electric selection of music throughout dinner which wasn't delivered. He's such an awesome person, perhaps there was miscommunication of our expectations, but he did come through majorly on allowing us to show a DVD at our reception, that truly made it a night to remember.

We had an amazing DJ (Randy). He is very professional and exceeded our expectations. Our wedding guests loved him and the dance floor was packed all night (rare at some other weddings that I have been too). We got uplighting included in our package (paid extra for) and he forgot them (very sad). I am ticked that we didn't get money back for that though. For that I give mostly 4's. Otherwise, he was very flexible on the cost of other aspects of our wedding (ceremony price, super swagged out DJ booth, lights, etc).
