They were amazing!
Even though they asked a lot of questions before the big day and keep you super on track there where still a lot of issues on my day, still they figured that out without needing me and made sure everything went great! We had an issue with someone and she shut that down right away! Also music was amazing and everyone was dancing by the end of the night, I would never be able to get through withought there help! -

Amazing people! Joy and Laine were so helpful during the planning process. They asked questions and gave us tasks we never even would have thought of. Their homework assignments and check ins helped us stay focused and get everything done in a timely manner. If we ever felt stuck on how to get something done, they were there to help us. The day of the wedding, Joy and Laine were there to make sure everything got done and helped out family and friends whenever they had a problem. My husband and I didn't even do anything the day of- we got to just sit around eating bagels, drinking coffee, and playing games while they handled it all like champs. They kept the wedding on time seamlessly, even when I (the bride!) did a few things out of order. So many guests commented on what a great wedding it was, and the only downside is I can't take any credit for it. It was all them! I truly can't sing their praises enough, and we feel so thankful to have had them there with us on our day. Thank you for helping us make such beautiful memories- you have no idea what everything you did means to us!

Hands down, the best in the business.
Laine was the DJ for our wedding and not only made our night memorable, but went above and beyond! She got the guests off of their feet and did things that I have never seen before that had our guests talking for days. I've had so many people ask about our DJ. She was super helpful, and made my day stressful, even helping with things that were outside of what was asked of her. We would not have had half as good of a day without her. If we would have known Awestruck Entertainment also did day of coordinating, we would have booked them for that as well. Highest of recommendations! -

There are truly no words to accurately describe the magnitude of the impact Laine & Joy had on our wedding day. They both worked with us for over a year leading up to our wedding while we were in a different states, working, goingy to school, moving, you name it.
We simply could not have pulled off this wedding without them. They helped us find amazing vendors, worked flawlessly with the new vendors we threw at them, had excellent suggestions, and always kept it realistic.
Joy was our day of coordinator who was on site for the Friday before and all day Saturday. She is truly superwoman and I am STILL getting feedback about how amazing she was. She and her assistant Abby, truly transformed our reception venue. My “vision” was a bunch of randomly(ish) purchased decorations and a Pinterest board. She clearly understood what I was going for and I was in awe when we saw our finished reception site. It was whimsical, romantic, and meticulously detailed. She made use of everything and it looked like pure magic. Did I mention she also packed everything up for us at the end??
I could write an entire essay on how much these gals did for us and I’m sure they did so much more that we didn’t even realize! They were why our wedding was so perfect. I didn’t expect a fairy tale day, but that is what we got and it’s due to the incredible work of these women.
TLDR: Book them yesterday. They take what they do incredibly seriously and offer SO much support, guidance, and labor needed for a wedding. Do yourself, your future spouse, and your wedding a favor and let these women make your day incredible!! ❤️ -

McCracken Reception 4/2024
Laine and team could not have been more wonderful to work with for our wedding reception. I knew I needed someone to control the flow of the day with our DJ. We needed a person who communicated well, was fun, and engaging. Laine was all of this and more! We received so many compliments with how well she interacted with both our party and the guests. We couldn’t have imagined this day without her. Not only that, but she has great taste and makes great suggestions. We were totally at ease with her and trusted her completely. Would absolutely recommend her 1000% to anyone looking to have an awesome reception. We attached some photos for reference, I mean who wouldn’t want to go to this party? 🤣. -

Best dj ever!
Laine was SO amazing as the DJ for our wedding. From the beginning, it was apparent that Laine has a passion and professionalism that is unmatched. She was very responsive and flexible with whatever it is that YOU need for your big day.
Leading up to the wedding, there were multiple phone calls and planning days. She made it easy and convenient to input details and customizations using an app. This meant I could do this on my own time.
Laine was extremely organized and efficient. As for the big day, Laine definitely knows how and when to take control and get the audience involved!! She can quickly think about what the crowd needs to get on the floor and have a good time. There were so many games and activities that made our night so special.
We got so many compliments on her and how our wedding was so special and unique!
I would highly recommend her for ALL weddings!! My husband and I had the best day ever!! -

I found out about Laine through a Facebook group. Our original DJ was awful with communication and actually texted me the day before my wedding trying to go over details. I hadn’t heard from him in almost 6 months! Laine was amazing! I loved the ease of using Vibo instead of emailing documents or using something like Google Doc. It was much easier to keep everything in one place and pull it up during our consultations. Laine is also an event planner and gave great tips before and during my rehearsal. We were running a little bit late for the ceremony which threw some things off for the reception, but Laine pivoted quickly and seamlessly so we could capture everything. I don’t remember hearing all of our must play list, but we also left an hour early. Laine stayed and played while my family and friends helped clean up. She even gave them tips on how to clean up properly because by that point, we all forgot. I would definitely hire her again! -

Wedding Planner
Awe•Struck Entertainment, especially Joy and Laine, we’re absolutely the best wedding planners I could have asked for. They helped ensure all parts were properly planned and coordinated to ensure I got my dream wedding. They were there for me throughout the entire process. They also had great insight and suggestions from their experience which really helped us. All the suggestions and support truly made it the best day. We got married during a tropical storm. They were there for me during the last week emotionally as well as reaching out to vendors to ensure I still got the perfect wedding day. I also cannot stress how incredible Joy and her team were the day before and day of the wedding. They helped us rewrite the ceremony to flow better for us. They also helped move everything and reorganize the decor due to the rain to make it look beautiful under the tent. Joy even held umbrellas for all us entering the tent so we didn’t get wet entering for the ceremony. The team was organized and incredible throughout the entire day. They set everything up and tore down everything. They also organized all vendors, handled everything, and every issue. We and our family got to truly enjoy the day and relax. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I recommend Awe Struct full heartedly. -

I first heard about Laine from my best friends wedding in PA. I knew when I got married, I was getting Laine to DJ my wedding. Ironically when it was my time to get married, Laine had moved to my state VA! Laine was absolutely amazing to work with from day one. I personally loved the consultations leading up to the wedding, it helped me plan other parts of the wedding! She was very inclusive in all the wedding details and made us think about things we hadn’t thought of yet! She kept us on our toes during the wedding planning and made sure we were on track! She was so easy to talk to and open to new things!! It was important to my husband and I to have a DJ that was willing to include music for both my American culture and my husbands Hispanic culture. Laine did exactly that for us! She played both sides of music and kept everyone on the dance floor! Thank you for being such a big part of our special day!! I will always recommend Awe Struck Entertainment to every couple planning their wedding!!! We cannot thank you enough Awe Struck and Laine!!! -

Thanks to the incredible work by Laine, Joy, and Adelia our wedding was perfect! From the moment we first spoke, Laine was professional, kind, and patient. Hiring AweStruck Entertainment was by far worth every penny!
Laine and Joy both work with such level of organization and attention to detail, it's truly remarkable, both sharing knowledge and suggestions from their industry experience from day one. Joy's ability to handle unexpected challenges with grace and professionalism kept my wedding from becoming a disaster, no thanks to the venue. We can genuinely say that our wedding planning and day wouldn't have been the same without them.
Our only regret, is not having found them earlier. I would go back in time and hire them as not only our day of coordinator, but wedding planner. I can only imagine how much more amazing our day would have been with executing our vision!
If you're looking to hire a day of coordinator that will genuinely care about YOUR big day, you found them! We never felt like just another job or just another wedding for them. Thank you Laine, Joy, and Adelia! -

Amazing!!! Highly recommended
I would highly recommend Awe Struck! Laine and Joy were such a pleasure to work with throughout my entire wedding process. They were very responsive with every question I had. I honestly can say I would have never been able to do this without them. They asked me details on plans for my wedding I didn’t even know I needed to think about.
Booking with them was very easy as well. I sent a request for information and within a few days I was their client.
It honestly felt like laine and joy became friends instead of wedding planners.
I started using VIBO halfway through my wedding planning and the transition and app was very useful and easy to use. Not difficult at all.
These women did an amazing job and did not disappoint. -

Best Wedding Coordinators
We booked Awe Stuck Ent as our Day-of Coordinator for our backyard wedding. Laine and Joy were so hands on right from the start. They kept us track with multiple over the phone mtgs and one on-site visit. Joy and her crew were with us for several hours the night before and ALL day on wedding day. We had a backyard wedding during a tropical storm and couldn't to have done it without them. So professional, so helpful. Every need (big or small) was met. Joy even had to deal with a leaking porta potty. So happy I used them. Highly recommend!!! -

When my husband and I first got engaged we had no idea what type of wedding we wanted, we just knew it had to be a memorable party that people talked about for years. With Laine and Joy's help, we were able to pull that off. While it's only been a few weeks since we got married, we are having people tell us that they wish we could do it all over again every year. We started to work with them about 18 months before our wedding and we are sad we don't have an excuse to talk to them every week now, that's how personable they both are. With about 6 months notice we had to change both our venue and push our date back a week, without Laine and Joy's help it would have never gone as seamlessly as it did.
Having Laine as our DJ was a no brainer, she kept it a party all night long, exactly like we wanted. Even with our weird requests of bridal party entrances.
Long story short, if you are planning a wedding and don't hire Awe-Struck from the start then you will have failed yourself immediately.

They went above and beyond any DJ I've ever experienced. They stepped up to the plate in several aspects of the wedding to make sure things were getting done and falling in place. They were even able to help solve a catastrophe when our officiant didn't show. We received many comments from our guests about how fun and interactive they were. If I ever need a DJ again or hear of someone needing one I will hands down recommend them EVERY time. They truly cared about the event and our experience, it wasn't just a paycheck to them. It was attentive personalized service with a friendly and positive attitude. We were able to enjoy our wedding and reception without having to be bothered by a thing. Awe•Struck was the DJ for our wedding in September as well as our tear down service. They go above and beyond a normal DJ service and are AMAZING at what they do. Both Laine and Joy are extremely thorough and well-organized, it helps make sure that you are on track with everything on your end as a result. Day of, Laine killed it with music selection and kept our crowd on the dance floor up the last second of our reception. Again, HIGHLY recommend them! -

Laine is amazing!
She has been my family’s photographer for almost 3yrs now and she is also a fantastic DJ! Laine traveled up to Pittsburgh this past June to DJ our wedding at hartwood acres mansion and I could not have picked a better person to do it. Her setup was great, had no problem jumping right in to a venue she hadn’t been to before, listened to all of our needs, as well as the guests requests. We had some issues with our day of coordinator and she jumped right in and assisted with things that she absolutely did not have to and I whole heartedly believe things ran smoother because she was there. I honestly wish I had asked her to coordinate as well as dj!
The guests have not stopped saying how wonderful she was and we couldn’t be happier. Laine did a marvelous job of feeling out the crowd with the music and even last minute coordinated a large group photo with our photographer as well as the hokie pokie for our Virginia tech alum and another group “dance off” to get the party started!
I could not recommend laine and @awestruckentertains more! -

The. Best.
Awe Struck Entertainment is the best. Hands down. When my sister talks about her wedding, she says the number one person she would recommend is Laine, and I agree. So when I needed a DJ for my wedding, I knew it had to be Laine. She went above and beyond leading up to the wedding and on the day of, and was a trooper through the downpour at the end of our outdoor ceremony. We’ve been told by many how fun and relaxed our wedding was, and I believe a big part of that comes from the games we played at our reception. We hired a DJ, Awe Struck Entertainment gave us more than just music!
I’ve also heard, “Your DJ was great. I want her when I get married,” a number of times from friends. -

I cannot recommend AweStruck enough. Joy and Laine made our day absolutely EFFORTLESS, and made everything look and feel perfect for everyone. Our bridal party LOVED Joy and she had us all laughing and relaxed instantly. Even our guests are raving about their efforts and how much they loved Joy as coordinator and Laine as DJ!

I got married on 9/17/2022 (not sure why it's incorrect on Wedding Wire). I cannot express my gratitude to Awe Struck Entertainment enough! Laine and Joy were ESSENTIAL to making my wedding everything I dreamed and more. From the initial consultation with Laine (business owner) to the monthly (and sometimes more often) consultations (both in person and at my venue) thereafter with my day-of-coordinator, Joy - I knew that they both we're totally invested in making my wedding perfect. They were readily available for all my questions and helped me consider so many things I had not thought of, which was essential to me as I did almost everything DIY for my wedding. They helped me with so much, I'll never be able to list them all, but some that stand out include: amount of alcohol/food to purchase, obtaining a marriage license (PA is weird and unclear), building the wedding schedule for my bridal party and vendors, vision for my wedding venue, and so much more! They also offered advice on ways to communicate with my other vendors as well. Joy was really interested in talking with me about my vision for decor, and she flawlessly brought my vision to life (see attached photos). And lastly, they're pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable for all that they offer. Book Awe Struck Entertainment for all your wedding planning/coordination needs. You will NOT regret it! -

There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Laine snaps. She has a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions. She has captured some of the most special moments of my life. I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone who wants a true professional to create a customized photography experience. Laine was wonderful in setting up a shoot that really captured my daughters personality. We had a lot of fun the evening of the shoot, and we have gorgeous pictures to last a lifetime! -

The Wedding DJ Of Your Dreams
Laine goes above and beyond to make your day what you want it to be. After I first contacted her, she spent hours on the phone with me planning every detail for the ceremony and reception. She gave me unique ideas to incorporate. She helped me with coordination and the rehearsal dinner (which wasn’t easy considering my bridal party was 22 people). She surprised me with photographs of my guests during cocktail hour. She made a cute video or our guests drinking champagne using a GoPro. She kept people on the dance floor the entire reception. She didn’t even question my poor song choices ;) Laine made our guests smile and laugh, and she is undeniably the best at what she does. I wish I could relive the day she helped me create, over and over. -

We had our wedding last month and Laine was so incredible. The dance floor was full all night and we got so many compliments. Even our other vendors were saying how helpful, kind and fun she was! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. You need Awe Struck at your next event!!
Awe Struck will be DJing our wedding in 2022. While I can’t review on the actual DJ part yet, Laine has been so so helpful in making sure I have all the information I need. Our consult call was very informative and the form to fill out is extensive and covers every detail. She even gave me helpful questions to ask my other vendors! It was super helpful for this stressed out bride-to-be! -

Whole day was a breeze with these two by my side!
Cannot say enough about Laine and Joy (and their husbands who helped a bunch too)! Zach’s and my wedding was postponed due to Covid, but these two didn’t miss a beat. They worked with us through all the changes and finer details.
Having a backyard wedding I was concerned about all the set up being on me and my family, but with Joy there I was able to sit back and enjoy the day while she set everything up. No detail was overlooked, she really made my vision for the day come to life.
Laine brought a lot of life to the dance floor even getting some of the older generation involved.
10/10 would have them at any event! -

UPDATE: I just had my wedding and Laine was fantastic! She set up all of my decorations perfectly and got everyone dancing. I was honestly afraid my crowd didn’t have many dancers so the reception would be lackluster, but she really kept the party going. We had a ton of dancing and ended the night with some great songs to sing to, so even those who weren’t dancers had a great time. She even got a few great pictures. She helped take all of the pressure off for decorating and I couldn’t imagine what my wedding would have been like without her. I definitely recommend hiring her for all of your wedding needs!
My fiance and I had a DJ consultation with Laine a few months ago and we hired her on the spot!
I have a type A personality, so I very rarely put my absolute faith in a person to complete important tasks. Laine was so organized that she even thought of things I hadn't yet. My mind has never been so at ease! We even ended up hiring her to be our day of coordinator as well.
Not only is she super organized and reliable, she's also incredibly down to Earth and very easy to talk to. I have absolutely no doubt that she will be a fantastic DJ for our October Wedding.
We definitely didn't just find a fantastic vendor, we also have made a new friend! Choose Laine for whatever you need, she will not disappoint! -

We want to thank Laine from Awe•Struck for an amazing wedding! We hired her as our DJ but she was so much more! From the beginning she was so much help with keeping us organized and making sure we didn’t miss even the smallest of details.
With less then a month before our wedding, our officiant had to back out due to COVID concerns, and Laine stepped right up and helped fill that role for us. She brought her sister onboard to help with the ceremony so Laine could be our officiant. She was also super helpful with directing our rehearsal and ensuring our wedding ceremony and reception was on time.
During the wedding, she did a great job with the choice of music and keeping our guests engaged and entertained.
Even though we hired Laine as our DJ and Officiant, we got a bonus because she also took some amazing pictures of our wedding and guests that we were allowed to download free of charge.
We would highly recommend Laine to anyone looking for any of her available services.

I’m not sure where to begin this review because Laine was absolutely amazing! I can’t believe I’m saying this But I’m so happy that our previous DJ had cancelled on us about just two weeks before the wedding because we would not have met Laine. I’m positive that without her our wedding would not have been as great as it was! In such a short notice she stepped right up to the plate without even second guessing it. She was so organized and kept the bridal parties and other vendors organized as well. She went above and beyond a DJ and even took stunning photos for us to have! She is absolutely worth every penny and I would not have wanted anyone else in her place. Not only did she get everyone on the dance floor but she kept us laughing and having fun all night. Thank you so much Laine. I don’t know how to thank you enough but you made our wedding out to be everything I have ever wanted. You were truly a blessing!! -

So much fun!
Awe•Struck Entertainment was easily one of the best choices we made for our wedding day! Laine was great, she really took the time to sit down and have a conversation about your wants. Our family and friends still over a year later talk about how much fun they had. Everyone was up and dancing! Laine started the night to easily get everyone on the dance floor which is one of my favorite memories from the wedding. Can’t recommend enough! -

We hired Laine for Event Coordination and DJ services for our 10/10/20 wedding. Laine was fantastic through the entire planning process, and especially with all the changes to the plan due to COVID-19. Laine and Joy were a huge help the week of the wedding and the day of, with a detailed timeline and getting us (and everyone else) where we needed to be at a given time. The assisted with set up and took care of tear down entirely, which was a huge help. Laine went above and beyond as a DJ as well, and kept the room engaged and entertained. I would recommend their services to anyone, and we will be hiring Awe Struck again for our anniversary celebration next year! -

My fiancé and I worried over finding the perfect DJ because we felt so strongly it would really make or break the first experience. Laine was recommended through a local fb group and after speaking with her we knew she would do a fabulous job - she was super thorough, prices reasonable, and worked fast with us to plan our day. Where to even start? From day one Laine was awesome and easy to work with. We booked Awe Struck through a recommendations from our wedding venue owners. We used them for ceremony music, cocktail hour music and reception.
She planned several phone calls with us. The first being a basic "get to know bride & groom" type thing. She provides a super helpful detailed worksheet so no detail goes unplanned. On several occasions I either called or texted Laine for random questions and she always answered quickly. She was more than just a DJ, she was the playmaker of the whole day and kept things running smoothly. During the reception she really pays attention to the audience and how they are digging or not digging the music. She surprised us with this dance with everyone in a circle that really got people up dancing and having a good time. We had so many great comments from our friends and family on the music and how much fun they had.

Not only did she provide DJ services, she also assisted us with coming up with the timeline for day, provided vendor recommendations, and was always willing to listen.
