Wonderful DJ!

I have used Phil for multiple parties and he is always great! He was recommended to me for my daughters Sweet 16 and was so good that he was my go-to for my Commitment Ceremony in July 2025. I wouldn't think of using anyone else. His attention to detail, professionalism and energy is always appreciated. Thanks again, Phil!

Over the top!

With help from Phil we had a WOW wedding!!! I did some singing along with our wedding dance and we had couples leaping on the dance floor all night.. no dead pauses during the night! We ended with “la hora loca” with Phil and his assistant distributing masks and beads..lively dancing to the very last minute! Phil showed off some of his dance moves...no extra charge!!

Such a blast!

We had the BEST experience with Phil at AVX Productions. We booked him 2 years in advance and he kept in touch, checking in periodically to update us as time got closer. He was so pleasant to work with, giving us as much time as we needed when we met. We spoke through everything and we felt confident in using him. We also went through him for a photobooth which worked out great as well. When deciding who we wanted to work with, Phil was who we felt would give the best vibes for our wedding and he did not disappoint! The music was great, he made sure to hype up everyone when it was right and really just made for an absolutely amazing night that my husband and I will never forget! We definitely recommend him to everyone, including our friends and family. We'd also use him again in a heartbeat for any other events we have!

Exceeded Expectations!

Phil was truly a difference maker in making our wedding day so special. From the time we first met with him to his on the fly flexibility during the event, he was the consummate professional. He had great ideas and helped us shape the flow and feel of our wedding. I would highly recommend Phil to anyone looking for a DJ/Emcee for their special day.

AVX Productions is a MUST HAVE!

I've had the pleasure of using AVX Productions at my Sweet 16 and 9 years later at my wedding! Phil was the emcee both times, and was amazing both times. He knows how to get people up out of their seats to dance and really gets the party going. Throughout COVID he was super flexible and understanding during such a difficult time for all of us. If you are getting married, having a sweet 16, bah mitzah, whatever it may be... AVX Productions is a must have for your next special event! Thanks Phil for making both special events in my life AWESOME!

Fantastic!!!

This DJ was a referral from a friend. We were so happy we used this company. Phil was absolutely amazing!!! He was extremely professional and considerate. He got the whole party involved and mentioned everyone by name. He listened to all of our requests and everyone had the best time!!! He definitely made this party an incredible success!!! Our guests said he made the party! We highly recommend this company.

Don’t sleep on AVX!! They will make your event spectacular!

Let me start by saying AVX Productions was by far our FAVORITE vendor from our wedding.
Im sure if you are reading this review, you will agree that when it comes to a great wedding, music is one of the most critical elements to make the day fun and memorable. Your DJ/MC is one of the most important vendors you will hire. They are literally hosting and setting the stage for all of the special memories you are about to create. That being said…..
Phil was an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I share a huge interest in music, so we wanted a DJ who could implement our diverse and vast musical taste into our wedding. He listened to all of our very untraditional and detailed requests and found really creative ways to weave our ideas perfectly into our day. Not only was Phil extremely communicative, down to earth, professional and collaborative-he was expertly- versed in all genres of music. Since we wanted our music selection to be one of the most customized components of our wedding, we were absolutely delighted to see our vision brought to life. He delivered exactly what we envisioned. His knowledge & expertise helped us mold a spectacular event with very memorable music, enthusiasm and entertainment. Prior to the wedding, we had several zoom video calls where we brainstormed ideas together and he gave us a plethora of fantastic suggestions. He made everything feel smooth, organized, seemless and composed.
I cannot speak highly enough about his professionalism, charisma and customer service.
After our wedding, so many of our guests, both young and old, mentioned how much they enjoyed not only the music selection, but the quality of the sound system and also Phil’s professionalism as an MC.
I highly recommend Phil and his team at AVX- you will be able to breathe easy knowing that your special day has its own perfect soundtrack!!

Awesome wedding, great music

We could not have asked for better!! Phil was great at communicating with us and remained very patient throughout the planning process. We had an awesome wedding and it would not have been the same without his attention to detail. Thank you for everything!!!

Did not disappoint!

I am so glad we chose AVX Productions for our event. The success of our event was defined by our wants and needs and not by being told by the DJ what he would be doing. He was always available for help and suggestions and his priority was listening to what we wanted down to specific song list (we had a tough group to please). Staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Party went without a hitch and we are still being told by guests it was the best event and best DJ thus far. Highly recommend !!!!!!
P.S. I’m not usually someone who ever leaves a review. Takes a lot for me to go to a page and leave a review/feedback.

The best DJ on Long Island

Phil and his team were incredibly professional and made sure that everything we wanted on our day was exactly as we wanted it. He met with us twice to make sure he had all of our must play songs as well as the timing for the night. He even came out the day before the wedding to talk to us about set up. We were very impressed with how much care he put into our wedding even before the date. On our wedding night we were thrilled with the music, the pacing of the night, and his thoughtful and calming manner. The whole night went off without a hitch and we highly recommend him!

Very professional, offers an experience like no other.

Phil at AVX Production is very professional. He has a gift when it comes to making the event memorable and unique like no other. His approach was different from other companies I knew We made the right decision. We felt like he was part of our family and knew what we wanted and how we wanted it. His timing was very helpful when other things didn’t go as planned he stepped up and kept the crowd occupied without even being asked. We made a life long friend an plan on using him whenever possible. AVX has so many options and services I’ll be calling them again real soon.

Amazing Experience!

Extremely happy with our choice. Phil was very helpful and accommodating and always made you feel at east when making decisions. When our wedding timeline changed due to unforeseen circumstances he was able to put things back on track and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Would definitely recommend !

The best DJ there is!!

Phil is an exceptional DJ. He takes the time to listen to what you want. Delivers service that is outstanding. Keeps the party moving so EVERYONE is having fun. One of the essential thing in any party is to have a great Dj, without that, the party could flop. Not with AVX Productions!!

I have used AVX in the past and was definitely glad we chose to use them for our wedding. Guest are still telling us what a great reception it was. They all say how much fun they had and how much they danced. I would highly recommend anybody that was thinking about using AVX for their wedding reception. Best decision we made. Woo-Hoo!!!

AVX keeps the party going! Phil and his team know when to pump up the volume (and the excitement), and when to calm it down for dinner, announcements, etc. Had sooooo much fun that I can't wait to attend another party where they are the entertainment - 5 star recommendation all the way!

Professional and fun

We had an amazing time with AVX. Communication before the party with planning was amazing. They were very professional and made our party extra fun. We actually made a mistake with changing the time of the party and never told AVX until about 2 hours before and they went out of their way to get everything started on time without a glitch. Definitely recommend.

Avx productions made my wedding memorable!

AVX Productions did the impossible they got the entire family up and dancing and having an amazing time. So many great memories to cherish for many years to come for everyone. They respected our song choices and list of songs to avoid and really kept the party going until the very end. We wanted MORE!

AVX Doesnt Disappoint... Ever!

My family and I have hired AVX Productions as well as attended several events in which they were the hired entertainment. I can assure you that the owner, Phil, goes through great lengths to cover all of the details to make your special day that much better! Not only that, they also throw one helluva a party! Extremely attentive and super professional

I was referred AVX from a friend and I'm glad they did! Phil helped us out nearly a year in advance and walked us through every small detail of our ceremony and reception right up to the big day. He knows his stuff and helped us form our plan in an easy to understand way. Not only is he an excellent planner, he is also an awesome MC and knows his way around sound and DJ equipment. I would absolutely recommend AVX if you're ever having a party, wedding, or big celebration. You wont be disappointed!

Amazing DJ and MC!

We love Phil and his company! He took the time to meet/talk with us several times before our wedding, to be sure he knew our style, our likes and dislikes, our wishes and dreams for our wedding day. He was great about giving us ideas and suggestions and tailoring an experience that met our wishes and our budget, too. Our guests are still talking about our wedding day! He totally made the reception incredible! We love his unique activities, how he kept everyone engaged and having fun and the fact that he helped coordinate between all the vendors to make our day less stressful, so we could just focus on being present in the moment. We highly recommend AVX Productions!!

Excellent performance & special touches

Phil and AVX Productions did such a wonderful job on my daughter's sweet 16. Everyone in the room was dancing and having so much fun from the very first song to the very last song. We couldn't have asked for anything better!! And quite honestly I don't think you'll find a better DJ company out there. Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely be calling you for our younger daughter's party when she turns 16.

DJ Phil was absolutely amazing at my son's Bar Mitzvah. We had tons of kids of all ages and they all had a blast. The music was exactly what my son wanted and DJ Phil spent a lot of time beforehand getting to know my son and his personality. What impressed me the most however was when DJ Phil was able to quiet more than 60 kids for ceremonial times where they all needed to be quiet. They all listened without a peep. As a parent that's when i knew DJ Phil was the absolute BEST!!!!

It doesn't take many words to describe AVX Productions. They are Professional, Reliable, Accommodating & their prices are reasonable. They just DJ'ed at our daughters Sweet 16, & let me tell you they had everyone jumping from the start. I Highly Recommend AVX Production for all your affairs.

Phil at AVX productions was hands down the best DJ. Our wedding day would not have been the same if we had used a different DJ. He was very flexible with us in communication as we lived out of state and he had great suggestions for our wedding day. If we had a question, he would get back to us within 24 hours. On our wedding day, he got our guests excited and out on to the dance floor. I would definetly recommend AVX productions for anyone looking for a DJ!

I met Phil at a wedding expo and I knew from the minute we stopped to talk to him that he would be our DJ. His prices were so affordable. We had a few issues and had to change the date and location multiple times but he still stuck by our side the whole time. The wedding came and I was so stressed that the hall wouldnt look good but I was so wowed by all of the lighting when I walked in. He made it look beautiful! He was up on the dance floor and interacted with the crowd the whole time! If youre looking for a wedding DJ choose Phil!

Everything I wanted was done perfectly with no if‘s and‘s or butts. My DJ experience could not have been better and it made my wedding memorable and engaging the whole night! I 100 percent recommend AVX for any event !

Our wedding Would not have been complete without AVX Productions. Phil is the best in the business and worked with us every step of the way, from the song list to suggestions for commonly used songs. Phil is in constant contact with you and emails you finalized song lists etc, as well as emailing reminders for anything that is not completed. He has only the best assistants that really know how to get the guests moving. You won't be disappointed with Phil and his team!!

My new Wife and I just recently, November 19th, 2016, had our Wedding at a Local Country Club. We picked out AVX Productions to do our Ceremony & Wedding because of the many referrals from our friends. Phil was fantastic from start to finish. He choreographed the entire event from beginning to end and we couldn't be more happier. (A good DJ can walk into any venue and coordinate with the Maître D' / staff thats running your event). My wife says that the music during our opening ceremony still gives her the chills as it set the tone, mood and expectations that she always wanted when walking down the aisle. Phil and his staff then took control of the entire wedding reception and kept everything flawless. From keying up all the song requests we had pre-planned, to the dances with our parents, kids and cake cutting, it was awesome. Phil kept everyone up, involved and dancing that unfortunately the event seemed to fly by and was over before we realized it. When you have a great DJ like AVX, 5 hours seems to go by like 30 minutes. We couldn't of asked for a better day and we know that the Music and entertainment provided by AVX played a HUGE part of making our big day extra special. AVX is very personable and will customize your affair just as they did ours. We purposely left out a lot of traditional things and Phil still filled any voids with activity. I used AVX or my daughter Sweet 16 in October 2016. Phil and his staff did an excellent job in accommodating any and all requests that my daughter had. My daughters goal was to have a party that was all about dancing with her friends. They had the whole party up and dancing the entire night. AVX really helped accomplish that goal. We were completely satisfied with the communication, and organization of the company, as well as the service.

Phil was absolutely wonderful! We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He was prompt, professional, easy to work with, and accommodating. Phil kept our guests on the dance floor, and everyone loved him and the music! I would highly recommend AVX Productions for any party/wedding.

From the very first correspondence, to our first meeting, several phone calls, and finally on the the day of our son Max's Bar Mitzvah was amazing! Phil was not just professional but a trusted friend to my 13 year old son Max. His professional and friendly demeanor put Max at ease - I knew I could trust him 100% the first time Max and I met him. He took his time getting to know our musical tastes and tailored a playlist specially for Max. Phil is a great DJ, professional businessman, and a honest guy! WOW! We had a great time at our reception, thanks to Phil and AVX Productions! We met with Phil a few times before our wedding to prepare our music choices and the time line for the night. Phil offered great advice for song selections, and ways to ensure all our guests would have a great time. The night was a blast! Everyone was on the dance floor, the party kept rolling!
We had a few concerns in planning our reception, and Phil helped smooth them all out. My mother-in-law is physically challenged and it would have been difficult to have a mother / son dance. Phil suggested a subtle way to have a parent dance without putting the focus on my mother in law. It was the perfect idea!
My husband & I are huge country music fans, but we knew some of our guests are not, Also, we were having a big mix of age groups: our children, nieces & nephews are all 20 somethings, and our friends are all 50 somethings. It can be tough to coordinate music to satisfy everyone, but mission accomplished by Phil! He played just the right music to keep us singing & dancing all night.
At the reception, a friend of ours wanted to dedicate a song to his wife - and he only knew one line! Phil took the time to look it up, find it and play the song. Our friend was so happy!
All these personal touches are what make Phil & AVX Productions the perfect choice for a wedding. Phil takes the time to know his couple, and their personalities. He made our reception exactly what we wanted it to be. Thanks!

Phil from AVX made my daughter's sweet 16 extremely special. Phil was very professional and on top of all the details leading up to the day. It's very important to know that Phil listens to everything that was requested and he had an upbeat way that kept everyone on the dance floor and he was very aware of his audience. Many people at the party said how great the DJ was and we were extremely happy!

AVX Productions came highly recommended and did not disappoint in any aspect of the party. Choosing a DJ can make or break your party. Ours was made!!! Time stood still and moments were fully enjoyed. There were 5 minutes left and the party was still going strong. Every minute had value and was great!! Phil left us and our guests wanting more! Phil at AVX Productions provided DJ services for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen at a local country club. He was outstanding -- professional, entertaining and very responsive to our requests throughout the planning process. Phil was FANTASTIC! Professional and very accurate with the timings throughout the entire affair. He is also very skilled at reading the crowd in selecting appropriate music choices. Absolutely no need to go with the big name companies on Long Island, where you talk to the manager and he gives you a DJ based on their "availability" aka your budget. With AVX Production we knew we would be working with Phil - there was no nonsense about it. On top of that, we had multiple meetings with him to discuss the schedule for the event, the names of everyone involved, and of course our music choices. He is also very patient in working with indecisive couples! :-)

Phil was extremely personal and went above and beyond to meet our diverse needs (we had a Russian-American style wedding). A close friend of ours said it best - he got married a while ago and said the only thing he would change about his own wedding would be hiring our DJ instead! We were very happy we went with Phil.

Phil did a great job at our daughters Sweet 16. He was a pleasure to work with beforehand-lots of good ideas and very patient. We got lots of compliments about him from the party-the kids danced all night!

I was never a dj person but when I met Phil he changed my mind about djs.... I can't say enough good things about him.... He Took the time to work with our schedule and was very patient with us. The day of our wedding he went above and beyond to make our day perfect. All of our guests are still raving about the dj and music. Hands down best dj ever.. He makes your day so personal and different then any other dj.
He definatly will be our dj for any event we ever do in the future.
AVX Production is the way to go for your special day or any events you do.

DJ Phil has done many events with our family including both our daughters Sweet 16's and events at our church for married couples, I wouldn't ask anyone else. From preparation of the event, meeting with us personally along with our girls, making each event personalized and extremely memorable. He is personable and friendly to everyone, and all our family and friends were happy and impressed with the professionalism and fun we all had with DJ Phil and his staff. I couldn't say better things about Phil and AVX. They were amazing. I was very specific about things I wanted and didn't want and Phil respected all my wishes. He was fun and energetic, professional and courteous. Phil didn't just meet with us once, he met with us numerous times to get to know us. I listened to what we had to say, gave suggestions and was in constant communication prior to the wedding day as well as throughout the day of the wedding. The best was how he got everyone dancing without having to be in the guests face. I especially loved how he was sure to give kudos to my step daughter when she was out there dancing on the dance floor. She felt super special and we thank Phil for helping make our day so wonderful. I highly recommend AVX to anyone looking for a DJ.

Philip and his team are incredible! My guests were constantly on the dance floor and enjoying themselves. Jason our DJ for the reception played all the music we asked for and kept an open communication with is the whole night! It was the best night I could've asked for. Definitely book them if you're considering. (Our music selection ranged from 70's Classic rock to 90's alternative)

There are no words that can truly describe the most amazing night of my life!! AVX Productions did the most amazing job of involving everyone at my wedding and I can't stop getting messages about how great the music was and how much fun they all had. Phil and AVX Productions were wonderful! We couldn't have asked for better entertainment! Phil was professional, easy to work with and really listeded to what we wanted for our wedding. We met with him at least 3 times to go everything from music selection to special requests and acknowledgements. He was so helpful in setting up the evening by putting together a timeline that he reviewed with us prior to the wedding day. We didn't want anything too over the top, but wanted to make sure the music kept people up and dancing - and AVX accomplished just that! He played all our requested songs, kept to the schedule and just made the evening so much fun! We also incuded some extras: a live saxaphonist and percussionist that sounded amazing and really enhanced the experience! We really enjoyed working with Phil and AVX productions. We would recommend them for any special event!

Phil was AWESOME. The best dj, he new what I wanted and did it. He followed up with me with every email phone call and text leading up to the wedding. He was good with my kids, the way he talked to them got to know them which made me deffinetly choose him. He is a wonderful guy. I recommend him and this company to every one. Phil and his team were absolutely amazing! It's very overwhelming picking a DJ and deciding what to plan as far as entertainment. Phil was so patient and explained all options. He listened to all our requests and was in touch though out the process of planning to keep all the planning on track. Phil is so talented and I know I couldn't of chose a better DJ. All my friends and family said it was the best wedding and most fun they ever had at a wedding and I know that's because Phil kept the party going! He's so talented !!!

Phil was GREAT! He listened to us and what we wanted and customized a great play list since we were all over the place with the types of music we wanted. He really knows how to get people up and dancing and how to keep everything flowing wonderfully. We did not want tradition and the typical music, we wanted out of the box and Phil delivered above and beyond our expectations. We are so thankful that we chose him. He is the only DJ our family will use!!

Philip was absolutely great and it was his expertise that made the reception absolutely wonderful. He knew the type of music we wanted and made sure that my husband and I were ok with requests.
