Ashley is an amazing photographer!
Ashley is an amazing photographer and a truly wonderful person. She took the most beautiful photos of us at our wedding, which was no easy feat because we both hate having our picture taken. She was very good at helping us relax and embrace the moment. She used all her tips and tricks to get us to look natural in the amazing photos she captured. From the first meeting we had with Ashley, she understood our vibe. We didn’t want to do an engagement photo shoot and instead of pressuring us to do that (like some other photographers did), she told us that she completely understood and gave us the option of her coming to our welcome party instead of an engagement shoot, which ended up working out incredibly well.
Ashley went above and beyond to prepare for our wedding. She had never photographed at our venue before, but she made a point of making several trips to the venue prior to our wedding weekend to scope out the best places for photographs and talk to the wedding coordinator at the venue to make sure she knew all the best spots for photos. She worked extremely well with all of our vendors and our wedding planner is still gushing about how wonderful Ashley was and how she can’t wait to work with her again. Ashley also navigated our families so well and made everyone feel special and seen on our wedding day. Ashley and her second shooter, Morgan, were an amazing team, and we have the best photos to remember everything. I cannot recommend Ashley enough! She’s the best! -

Ashley Carlascio Photography
My fiancé and I were so lucky to find Ashley! From start to finish, Ashley was easy to work with and extremely professional. I think most people worry about feeling awkward posing for engagement photos, but Ashley takes care of all that! She gives guidance for posing and provides really great cueing throughout the shoot. I love the style of her photography - clean, bright, and true-to-color. Ashley had our photos edited and back to us in only 2 weeks! The photoshoot itself was so fun! Ashley is always down for adventure. We spent most of it laughing and having a great time. Ashley is such a wonderful person to be around - I highly recommend her for engagement and wedding photos! -

Ashley Carlascio photography was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. She was our photographer for both engagement session & wedding day. She is so incredibly talented and brings such a kind & positive energy with her. We hired Ashley to photograph our wedding in July 2022. She is talented, professional, and genuinely fun to work with. She was attentive and organized when photographing us and our extended family before, during, and after the ceremony, and she also captured some excellent candid shots while roaming the venue during the welcome dinner and reception. Ashley cheerfully went above and beyond, indulging us when we wanted to sneak away for an unplanned sunset picture on the bluffs after the ceremony, and offering beautiful portraits of our friends and family during the reception. In brief, Ashley is great at what she does, and I highly recommend her. -

Best Experience with Ashley
Ashley was a dream wedding photographer from start to finish. Before the wedding we chatted many times & she was easy to work with, professional, genuinely nice, & gave great advice for the whole process. She created a detailed timeline and went through it with us prior to the wedding and it was exactly what we wanted. On the actual wedding day Ashley made everything so stress free. Pictures went so quickly and were so easy with her guiding everything. She has a GREAT eye for detail and makes sure the pictures are perfect. She also learned many people’s names from the wedding party which speaks to her professionalism & how much she cares about her clients. There were no awkward moments when taking pictures and she managed a large group of people & kids with ease!
We got a sneak peek of almost 40 picture by the next day and they were absolutely perfect. Every single picture!! I would use Ashley for any pictures I need in the future & would recommend her to anyone + everyone. -

A wonderful, inclusive photography experience!
We were beyond elated to have Ashley as our photographer at our wedding!
From the planning stages, Ashley was thoughtful about our whole timeline for the evening and walked us through our photo choices (like whether to get sunset photos at the nearby beach or closer onsite which would let us spend more time with our guests). She was so thorough with her timeline, we actually used her timeline over any created by our coordinators to plan our day.
Ashley did such an incredible job putting us at ease and bringing out genuine moments of happiness between us, that she then captured beautifully. Both Ashley and her second shooter Morgan, navigated through our many family members efficiently and in such a friendly upbeat manner. We had multiple family members and guests comment on how great our photographers were at directing groups for photos and being present everywhere there was a moment to capture.
Beyond their photography role, Ashley and Morgan felt more like friends than vendors on our wedding day. They helped us pin a boutonnière, figure out a pocket square, and fashioned a tie clip from a bobby pin to keep the tie straight through the rest of the night. They thoughtfully brought a water bottle for us as we traipsed around the redwoods taking photos before our ceremony, and gave us snacks as they hid us in their car when guests were arriving at the ceremony site.
As a queer couple, Ashley was the most conscientious vendor we worked with - from having neutral gender on her paperwork to picking up on the subtle cues of what language we used to describe each other, we felt incredibly accepted and comfortable with her.
We were initially drawn to Ashley for her creative vision - we loved the way she managed to capture moments of emotion and her images highlighting the nature surrounding her subjects. Our engagement photos in Yosemite and the sneak-peek photos of our wedding have been everything we hoped for, and we are so excited to see more! -

We planned a last minute micro wedding. I was searching online for a photographer about a week before the wedding and luckily was connected to Ashley! She was such a great choice for us! We wanted photographs that capture emotion, motion and rich color, plus a photographer who was easy to work with! She was so organized, thoughtful, and helpful on the day of and the days leading up to the event. One the day of, she made us feel so so incredibly comfortable. A few things that shows she goes above and beyond: 1) she knew all of the Hindu terms (outfit, ceremony, etc) 2) she learned all of our family members names and made the experience so personal 3) she sent us the most thoughtful newlywed gift. We also absolutely loved our sneak peak pictures, which we received within days of our wedding!
Loved loved working with Ashley! Would recommend her in a heart beat -

Our Photographer For Life
Where do I even begin with Ashley? If you stop reading now, just know you should hire her. SHE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!
I'm a big advocate for hiring wedding vendors who are talented, are good people, and who I personally connect with. There was no doubt that Ashley checked those boxes and more. Ashley has an infectious positive personality. She is sweet, passionate, caring, kind, communicative, professional, fun, has a heart of gold and without question, talented.
My husband and I have never taken professional photos before our engagement shoot with Ashley and were nervous about how "awkward" we would feel or look in front of the camera. If you are like us, do not worry, because Ashley truly has the gift of making everyone feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera from the start.
Her work is breathtaking (literally when I opened our engagement photos and wedding sneak peaks -which she gave us in less than 24 hours!- she took my breath away). Her photography perfectly captures the genuine love, happiness, and personality of each couple. She is who you want capturing your life’s most precious moments. Why? Because her photos make you fall in love with your love all over again and will let you hang on to that “just married” feeling forever (speaking from experience here)
As for our guests - let’s just say every single guest from our wedding was raving about Ashley! I could go on and on about Ashley, but in summary, I will recommend Ashley over and over again. She is the photographer that we will choose forever to capture the most important milestones in our lives.

Best Decision Ever
We felt so lucky to have Ashley as our photographer! We had a few different people we wanted to meet with before booking, but the moment we met with her we knew we didn't need to see anyone else. Not only did she do an incredible job on our engagement and wedding photos themselves, but she was so thoughtful and communicative throughout the wedding planning process and made us feel excited and at ease. Ashley exceeded all my expectations! From our first meeting to the day of the wedding, she made me feel special. She took the time to get to know my husband and I, listen to our story and translate that to capturing our special moments on photo.
She made sure to communicate effectively at the appropriate times, make sure I understood expectations and adjust where needed so I was able to get exactly what I was envisioning for our day.

I was so nervous when trying to find a photographer, everyone tells you it is one of the most important vendors you can pick. From the first phone call with Ashley I knew she was the woman for us! Of course we LOVE her photos, the use of natural light and enhancing the natural beauty behind the couples along with the pure joy and love she captures. BUT the best part is working with Ashley! She is the sweetest human and put us at ease from moment one. So capable, organized and personal, you can tell she truly loves what she does and her clients :)
With COVID-19 we had to re-imagine our dream wedding. This meant moving our larger celebration to 2021 and hosting a small ceremony in my parents backyard. The one thing I knew was I wanted Ashley to capture both days. Ashley worked with us on pricing out an elopement contract and flew down to southern CA and to capture our 20 person event. THEN she turned around preview photos in basically 24 hours. CANNOT wait to see the rest and am so grateful we get to do it all again in 2021! -

Ashley is amazing
Ashley is the absolute BEST. She is professional, affordable, and such a sweet, genuine person. She is so supportive, responsive, and flexible throughout the whole process of wedding planning. We were so grateful to have found and hired her, with all the changes and uncertainty of having a wedding during the COVID times, she was nothing but supportive and willing to do what she could to make it work for our special day. Even though things went differently then planned, we’ll still have special l, gorgeous pictures thanks to Ashley! Her photos are absolutely stunning and she knows exactly what to say or do to get the perfect pose or response to compose the most incredible pictures. She was a dream at roping in my husband’s rowdy groomsmen and my rambunctious family with such grace. All of her packages come with a mini engagement shoot which is amazing, because not only do you get gorgeous engagement pics, but you get the chance to get to know her and get more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. She is incredibly quick getting albums back and provides them online as well as on a gorgeous keepsake zipdrive. Her online galleries have a beautiful layout and make it easy for you or your guests to download or order prints. We absolutely love Ashley, and all of our friends and family rave about her pictures! She will be our photographer for life! -

Ashley was incredible! We had a small intimate city hall wedding in San Francisco. We had originally booked a larger wedding for a later date and ended up changing our plans, date, and majorly downsizing our wedding pretty last minute. Ashley stayed professional, flexible, and considerate with all the changes and kept a smile and her energy high and contagious through the whole process. She is so sweet! Not to mention the pictures we received for our engagement shoot and after the ceremony look like something out of a freaking bridal magazine. I 100% recommend her to others looking to have their wedding dreams come true. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed! -

Beyond grateful we found Ashley!
Our overall experience with Ashley could not have been easier or more wonderful! I’ve now done a few shoots with Ashley and her photos are some of my most treasured things. From start to finish she makes the whole process enjoyable- even got my now husband comfortable behind the camera;)
I highly recommend booking a package that includes engagement photos, we were both anticipating an awkward photo shoot, and Ashley immediately eased those nerves and made the whole process so fun! It took all the nerves out of the photo process for our wedding day too- we both just looked forward to seeing her!
Ashley’s approach is so non-invasive that half the time we forgot she was there:) she is seriously the sweetest and most easy going person you’ll meet, it made all the difference in the vibe of our day! we loved having both Ashley and Nate there to photograph our wedding and celebrate with us- definitely feel like we gained friends from the process!!
The most important part is how beautifully Ashley has captured some of the most important moments in our lives. She is insanely talented and her photos bring us right back to the memories of our amazing day and are absolutely gorgeous.
She is beyond professional in her work and all the details made the whole process experience perfect. The final album she created for our wedding is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen- and not just because it’s of us;) we will treasure it forever.
I recommend AVH photography every time someone mentions a photographer!
And I can’t wait to have a good excuse to do another shoot with her ♥️ -
