Florals and design that will BLOW YOU OVER.

Rick and Elyse do it like no one else in the business. There is only one word to sum up their florals and floral design for our wedding: WOW. Just, wow. Even our wedding venue said it was the most beautiful chuppah (wedding arch) she had EVER seen (and took photos to show future brides). From the first meeting with Rick and Elyse we knew that we had picked the best vendor in Florida. They ran with our every idea, helping us navigate the complexities of a beach wedding (making expert suggestions on the right table sizes, how to work around wind and sand, etc.), and created wedding florals that completely blew us and our guests away. The photos speak for themselves - truly, show stopping. And kind to boot - every chance we had to come meet with the team we took it. Avant Gardens is the epitome of professional; they made the design of our wedding beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you, Rick and Elyse. We're saving our preserved flowers forever!

Don't use anyone else!!

Rick and his team did an amazing job. The decorations and flowers were perfection and exactly what we wanted. It was great working with them, they are a truly great organization and I wouldn't recommend using anyone else!

Knocked it out of the park!

Rick and his team never cease to amaze me at their ability to create exactly what my brides envision. Last night's wedding was so beautiful and his team that do the set-up bend over backwards to make sure everything is just perfect. Everyone was talking about how beautiful the decor was. Thank you once again!!

Best South Florida Florist - Hands Down

Second wedding experience with Elyse and Avant Gardens Miami. My daughter's wedding 2.5 years ago and now my niece's wedding. Absolute experts, professionalism, beauty, quality, they take the worry out of the floral and decor aspect of weddings. They take your vision and the venue and put together an unforgettable floral experience. Can't wait for the next wedding or better yet, baby showers!

Do not look any further, this is it.

My husband and I were super lost on how we wanted our flowers to look for our wedding. Elyse sat with us and showed us countless photos with so much patience and kindness at her office that we decided to cancel future meetings with any other flower vendors right after. Please do not look any further. The whole avant gardens team was so amazing in every way. They responded to all of our emails and texts super promptly and always made sure that we were happy and satisfied. They even put together a floor plan for us at our ballroom!!! They did this so that we could picture how everything would look. Simply an amazing team! Thank you Elyse, we will be forever grateful!

My wedding floral dream come true

Before planning my wedding, I knew absolutely nothing about flowers. Elyse at Avant Gardens was so kind and helpful. She took the time and patience to meet with me right away to see and hear my desires and walked me through photos of countless flowers – explaining, naming, pricing, describing, and putting together what would be my dream bouquet. Elyse was great at responding promptly to emails. Avant Gardens also has extensive selections of rentable centerpieces, candles, and is basically a one stop shop for elegant wedding décor. She was very patient with me, rescheduling when I needed to at the last minute, and allowing me ample time and space for my indecisiveness on centerpieces. She listened to my every request no matter how small & ensured our centerpieces and bouquets were just as I’d envisioned and communicated. She even took the time to hand deliver my bouquet to me herself on my wedding day, which meant so much after all the work we’d done together leading up to the big day. Looking at the flowers brought me tears or joy and I won’t soon forget how I felt with that bouquet in my hands or the perfection of the floral arrangements that filled our reception room exactly how I’d dreamt of. Highly recommend and I look forward to being a return customer.

Islamorada Wedding at Pierre's

Avant Gardens is amazing!!!! By far the best florist we have ever used. They did all of our florals for our wedding in the Keys and it was absolutely breathtaking. Rick went on my Pinterest to visualize what kind of florals I liked, and then brought to life my floral DREAM!!! He completely transformed a clear tent into a magical arrangement of florals, from the long running leaf/floral centerpiece for our 34 person head table, to the gorgeous standing floral centerpieces on all of our round tables. The best part about it all was the stunning floral chandelier he created to hang from the middle of our tent. All I had to do was tell him my vision, and he brought it to life. My bouquet was also everything I could have wanted plus more. We can't thank Avant Gardens enough for the most beautiful florals we have ever seen!

Love love love!

Elyse was the first and only florist I spoke with that I felt comfortable after our initial conversation. She understood my very specific vision and was a true gem throughout the entire process. She and her team did an absolutely amazing job at my wedding and we have received so many compliments about how our floral was elegant and classy. Every single thing that was on my wish list she made happen. I was honestly floored. Standing during my ceremony, I kept thinking about how refreshing the roses smelled and how it looked just how I envisioned. So, so glad I chose Avant Gardens. Throughout our wedding, we made several changes due to family emergencies and they worked with us the entire time. If I did it all over again, she would be a vendor I would absolutely choose again. Gorgeous Decor & Florals!

Rick & Elyse are amazing! They created the most magical decor for my wedding - 3 different, unique & gorgeous designs! From a moroccan nights Sangeet complete with a royal bridal swing with marigolds to a whimsical, beautiful wedding ceremony overlooking the beach to the most insanely beautiful reception! Highly recommend them!

Elyse from Avatn Gardens created the wedding of my dreams. She is caring, loving, and genuinely wants your visions to come to life. She made my wedding romantic, classy, and breathtaking. They care about every detail, every desire, and every idea. If you are getting married in Florida, specifically South Florida, do yourself a favor do not look further -- Avant Gardens should be your only choice.

Avant Gardens is THE BEST!

This is the most amazing florist!! Their flowers are very high quality and everyone who works there is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. I was so pleased with how everything turned out, it was so beautiful!! They really understood what I wanted and made my vision and dream come to life! Very responsive and attentive to detail!

Avant gardens was one of the preferred vendors through my venue. I went with them over another one because they are more creative and modern. They totally nailed it with our flowers, they were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! We got so many compliments!! They also made us a beautiful arch for our ceremony with draped fabric that withstood a monster storm right before our ceremony!! Elyse was great to work with from start to finish! Would totally recommend!!

Avant Gardens was simply amazing. I met with 5 vendors and Elyse and Rick crushed it. Arrangements were enormous, fresh and creative. Every single guest approached me to ask who did our flowers?! Their ability to truly listen and interpret our vision, the QUALITY of the blooms and greenery were incredible. They delivered early and had it set up and ready so that I felt relaxed. We really felt like Elyse became part of our family. Avant Gardens gave us that wow factor that we wanted with a level of service that was unexpected. I wish we could airlift them to our home town.

Rick and Elyse did an amazing job with the center pieces for my reception. They interpreted my theme exactly and everything turned out more amazing than I could have imagined. During my initial interview with them they were very detailed in explaining to me the type of flowers he anticipated to use. They were also very wiling to work with my budget and made helpful suggestions on how to stay within it without compromising quality. The flowers were of superior quality; they were so fresh they smelled wonderful! Most importantly Rick and Elyse were very professional; they answered all of our emails in a timely fashion and reviewed my order several times to ensure everything would be perfect for the wedding. They have a very positive attitude and were a pleasure to work with. If you go with them you will not be disappointed!!!

The flowers for my son's wedding were exquisite. Everything was fresh, the design of the centerpieces, the chuppah arrangements, and all the small set ups for the bars, the place card table, and more were gorgeous. Orchids, calla lilies in purple and blues were simply beautiful. The glass containers and candle holders had lights and floating orchids. Truly breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for more. We loved working with Rick and the team at Avant Gardens. During our first meeting with Rick we showed him a photo of a bouquet that I really loved, and right on the spot he was able to identify all of the flowers. He also took the time during that meeting to get to know us and our vision. Most importantly, he was able to actualize our vision for our wedding. Everything was gorgeous and exceeded all expectations. And I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments I received on the florals and our chuppah.

Rick and the Avant Garden’s team created the most beautiful flowers for our outdoor beach wedding. From the arch of flowers we got married under to the stunning garden reception he was able to create, our wedding would not have been the same with out his attention to detail and eye for design. Throughout the entire planning process Rick was available and easy to get ahold of. We just got married this past weekend and we had Avant Gardens do almost everything for our wedding decor. Rick and his team are definitely the BEST!!! The flowers and decor for my wedding were truly PHENOMENAL!! We LOVED LOVED LOVED everything about the room and can't thank them enough!! From the magical chuppah to the gorgeous tables with the most breathtaking flower arrangements to the stunning dance floor that was really amazing, Rick made our dream wedding come true! A HUGE Thank You! to Avant Gardens Miami for helping us set-up a wedding on April 24th, 2016 in record time. The rental company was hours late with the delivery of tables and chairs, and Avant Gardens MIA finished the dance floor, helped us throw linen on the tables, as well as padding the chairs. I will recommend them to anyone! They showed true professionalism and team work. This was not their job, but they were the ones who offered their services without having to be asked. Looking forward to working with them again.

My wedding was last weekend and Rick and his team totally went above and beyond to make our vision and dream come true. My wedding was at the beautiful Biltmore hotel, I needed a really good flower vendor who understood my every need. Avant Gardens went above and beyond on making my dreams come true. I loved working with the owner and having him customize my pieces. He's prices are great and the communication is very easy and he's always very helpful.

The team at Avant Gardens has done 2 events for me - and I cant wait to plan something else to have an excuse to go back! They did the flowers for my wedding (03.08.14) and baby shower (9.20.15) - both were speechless and everyone enjoyed them! I even had people towards the ending of both events asking if they can take arrangements with them!!! I have nothing but excellent things to say about Julia and the Avant Gardens team. We had a tight flower budget, mostly because I don't much care for cut flowers, and they worked with me to create beautiful arrangements that were more in line with my preferences. They also helped with other decor and event rentals such as accent tables and linens. Their selection was excellent. Julia was a joy to work with - professional, prompt, and patient - you really can't ask for more from a wedding vendor. Highly recommend!

Avant Gardens sure did beautify our wedding! Immediately, we knew we were in good hands. During our planning meeting in January, they took the time to view what we wanted and found the right flowers for the time of season and price to recreate our desire. The options they have for glass and linens was great. They were able to deliver exactly what I had envisioned. I was not able to come to Florida to view a sample table but they were able to deliver with a photo. The flowers at the reception were exactly like promised...absolutely breathtaking. When walking into our reception I was in shock by the color and beauty. I would whole heartedly recommend Avant Gardens for your wedding florals!

Stunning work by Avant. I wanted a romantic wedding and I got nothing less than romantic. They provided all the florals and decor for my wedding. It was a one stop shop. Rick was beyond professional and gave amazing ideas for our decor. I walked into the reception and my mouth was on the floor and my heart was filled with love. I was so happy with how our ceremony turned out, our cocktail hour and our reception. I did not have to go to different vendors since they are full service. They provided our uplight, chairs, linens, charger plates, furniture and florals. I loved our flowers and I could not have asked for anything more beautiful. You get what you pay for with them. They are worth every penny. I do not regret this vendor at all. Loved them.

Rick grasped my daughter's vision for her wedding, and made spot on suggestions to enhance that vision. He was professional and always prompt to answer our questions. The ceremony and reception decor was breathtaking. So pleased and so happy we used Avant Gardens.

ANYTHING you envision, they will make come true. They are extremely talented, professional, have the most breathtaking flowers you have ever seen, and will work hard to make your dream a reality. I was BLOWN AWAY (and so was EVERY guest) at the decor design and flowers for my wedding. It was truly jaw-dropping. The chuppah, the candelabras, the gorgeous white orchids, the beautiful centerpieces that people are still talking about, all the details that made for such a perfect wedding… THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

The staff of Avant Gardens made the floral & decor happen for my daughter's dream wedding. The bride was very particular regarding the visual elements of her "big day"and Rick met her challenge and then some. The arrangements were BEAUTIFUL! The venue (Key West's Hemingway House) looked amazing! The ceremony area was arranged with big urns of flowers and rose petals everywhere, just fabulous! Avant Garden's staff is so talented with not only the flowers, but the table settings, linens, and lighting as well. They made the reception look magical. The photos that we've seen already are breathtaking, just gorgeous!!

I worked with Jessica Cucidor and she was fantastic. When I sat down with Jessica, I knew I had found the right floral company for me. She was able to put together a package that fit both my budget and my tastes. She was very responsive- it never took more than five minutes to get a reply to an e-mail. Now that's what I call customer service! She helped me make last minute changes and everything turned out great. I'd definitely recommend Avant Gardens.

We worked with Jessica from Avant for our wedding flowers and boy did she deliver! From the moment we first met with her to go over what we envisioned till the final details before the wedding day she was just great. She was very responsive to all of our questions and was patient with some of the back and forth changes we initially had. She listened to what we wanted and seeing it all come together on the day of the wedding was special. The flowers at our ceremony space, table centerpieces and bouquets were gorgeous. Everyone commented on the amazing colors put together. I would highly recommend working with Avant and if you can - ask for Jessica!

This place provided beautiful arrangements at a very reasonable price. The vases, flowers, and the work that was put together was beautiful. Flowers were not one of my priorities on my list or budget however, thats not what anyone would have thought on wedding day. The centerpieces really looked stunning! I worked with JEssica and she was a darling to work with. My Bouquet.. oh my bouquet was just what i wanted! everything was beautiful. I loved the fact that they were able to put together exactly what i conveyed to them once again, at a very good price.

I still can't get over my flowers at my wedding! Avant Gardens went above & beyond anything I could've ever imagined! We had a "campy chic" wedding and there were actual trees on the table! Everything looked gorgeous & they really helped create the ideas I had in my head & brought them to life. They also supplied the lighting, table cloths, and napkins- the colors made the night come alive!

Avant made my special day absolutely breath taking. My center pieces, bouquet, and cake received many compliments and were perfect. Rick and his team are incredible. I was one of three sisters who used Avant Gardens for our wedding flowers and other production supplies. The work he and his team did at each wedding was spectacular and completely unique to our personalities. For my wedding, we wanted a formal, but natural and antique look. It's funny because as I write this review, I'm struggling to explain what we wanted. Despite my inability to describe it both today and throughout consultations with Avant Gardens, they knew exactly what I was looking for and executed it beautifully. Our black tie wedding managed to combine natural elements like rock and driftwood with over 50 lamps brought in from Bali. These elements plus a myriad of beautiful blue, green, and purple flowers meant the result was exquisite and unlike anything I had ever seen. We still hear from our guests about how beautiful everything looked. We couldn't be more grateful for the Avant Gardens team. I recommend them a 100 percent.

Rick at Avant Gardens handled pretty much all the design aspects for our wedding - lighting, flowers, linens, furniture, draping, etc. - and it was all absolutely breathtaking! I guess you could say I was not an easy bride to please and I had a very specific idea of how I wanted everything to look and feel, and Avant Gardens met all my expectations and even more! Rick and his team are so experienced and professional; they just know what works. We are so thankful to Rick for making our dream wedding come to life!

Rick and his team are amazing! If you're looking for something different than typical wedding rentals, Avant Gardens is the place to go! Their selection of rental items was different than anything provided by any other vendor. They actually have a showroom full of stylish imported pieces ( I wanted to take everything home and decorate my house!!). This is the perfect vendor to create a classy, personalized look for any big event. In addition, even though my wedding was somewhat small, Rick took the time to personally oversee and execute my vision. He arrived and made suggestions (i.e. blue ambient lighting in the trees) that gave my wedding the extra wow factor. I literally can't say enough nice things about Rick and team and their selection at Avant Gardens!

Rick was great to work with! The first time my mom and I met him, I was indecisive about what I wanted and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and had great ideas. The center pieces at my daughter's wedding reception were drop-dead gorgeous! The orchids on the napkins was a very elegant touch. My wedding ceremony was at the Biltmore Courtyard and Reception in the Alahambra Ballroom. When I met Rick 5 months before my wedding, I had a semi-clear idea of what I wanted. After showing Rick a variety of my samples and ideas cut out from magazines and saved from various websites, Rick immediately started to ask the right questions and we came to a mutual understanding through his suggestions tailored to my ideas and requests. And what happened on my wedding day was better than I could have ever dreamed. He created a gazebo that was taken out of a page of Shakespeare's "Midnight Summer Dream." The lanterns and chairs used were stunning. The patio area where the cocktail reception was held was transformed into a European piazza. Old worldly, casual and sophisticated all at the same time. And the ballroom was magical. Each table had a giant candlelabre with flowers, greens, and then the table was filled with candles and rosebud vases. Avant-Gardens made my dream wedding come true.

Avant Gardens did such a fantastic job! My centerpieces and bridal bouquets came out perfect. Trusting someone with your vision is the hardest part, and Rick got my vision and then some. His team did a great job and he was present the day of my wedding. I told him exactly what I wanted, and he delivered. Avant Gardens is the most creative, inspiring design company. I trusted Rick wholeheartedly in the design of our event, he understood my desire for non-traditional, fun, unique. Pat & Rick from Avant Gardens were wonderful to work with. From the first meeting, Pat sought to understand our vision and even sketched out our wedding layout on paper based on our discussions, and they delivered flawlessly! Additionally, our original lighting vendors (Uplyte lighting) flaked out on us 2 months before the wedding, and in came Rick to the rescue. They provided both florals and lighting for the wedding and the results were absolutely brilliant! We are truly impressed that they were able to accomodate us with lighting at such short notice, and even provide a wide range of hues to use over the course of the reception. The floral decorations and centerpieces were beautiful and the bouquets were just what I asked for. Avant gardens truly played an instrumental role in making our wedding a success, I highly recommend!

The flowers were modern and absoluetly gorgeous! The flowers and their shop looked like something we couldn't afford but they will work with you on any budget! Avant Gardens were a preferred vendor through our venue, and they were my top choice when looking through options for our wedding day flowers. I'm not someone who is crazy about flowers, nor did I have a super clear idea of what I wanted. Elyse and team were so easy to work with, sharing ideas and options that could work within our budget.
The flowers and candles at the wedding were gorgeous - better than I could have even imagined. Set up and tear down went on without a hitch. I would highly recommend them!

PS because I loved working with them and the process for the wedding flowers, I worked with them for flowers for our rehearsal dinner as well.

As with all of our vendors we did a lot of research to pick just the right one. We chose Avant Gardens for many reasons and couldn't have been happier with our choice. In the beginning to come up with our vision we worked with Patricia who walked us through every possible flower and decoration we would need, never pressuring us to to feel we needed to add more than we could afford and telling us her honest opinion about what we could do without to create our vision yet stay within our budget. She helped us craft our vision when we didn't have one to begin with just an idea of certain pieces we wanted.

On the day of, they were so easy we did not even see them we left everything up to them so we didn't have to worry about it and could enjoy the day but when we finally were able to see their creation it was everything we could have asked for and more! Everything was perfect and just what we pictured. They were able to create extremely dramatic centerpieces and amazing floral arrangements for the bouquets and ceremony from only meeting them once. We received many compliments from all of the guest. It was all so beautiful My only disappointment with anything was that I keep everything forever!

I hired Avant Gardens very close to my wedding date and they were so helpful and understanding. The work they did was AMAZING!!!! Everything looked as if we had spent much more money than we did. Our centerpieces looked like it came out of a catalog and everyone was in aww by them. It truly made my wedding look like I wanted it to :). The one minor thing that I wasn't thrilled was my bridal bouquet. The roses were a bit damaged, but I could be the one to blame considering I didn't make it a point that I wanted it to look a certain way.
Other than that they were a delight to work with and did an amazing job!

We loved working with Avant Gardens who provided all the flowers and the lighting for my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception! Rick and Patricia listened to our vision of an English garden theme and they came through with the most beautiful flower centerpieces and table decor - guests are still commenting on our flowers! From the bridal bouquet and floral arrangements in the church to the Flower Girl's hair wreath of pink spray roses, all the flowers were perfectly fresh and delivered on time without any problems. They were a joy to work with and we highly recommend them.

Avant Gardens did a great job on the florals for our wedding. They were a preferred vendor at my venue. I did not have a huge budget and they were happy to work with me. Rick and Patricia were very professional and personable to work with. However, I do have one complaint. I had coordinated with them to deliver the florals (at the least my bouquet and wedding party flowers by a specific time due to the fact we were getting pictures done before the wedding). However, they were 3 hours late and we were not able to take as many photos as we hoped. I was very disappointed as the rest of my experience with them up to that point had been really great.

Rick is awesome, but forgot to wrap the inside of the vases of my low centerpieces. it's not a huge deal but I was disappointed, not to mention the fact that my mom was livid. But that was the worst part of my wedding day, so I got over it pretty fast. Flowers were gorgeous though!

I worked with Patricia from Avant Gardens and she really did a great job. I planned my wedding from out of town and there was some confusion and miscommunication with our initial appointment that we had previously made, but we rescheduled and everything came out great. From then on Patricia took charge and made it all right. She really listened to us and also made good suggestions. On the big day, the ceremony flowers, the bouquets, the table arrangements and linens were all beautiful. I was really happy with the final result.

Amazing Decor and Flowers available through Avant Gardens. My flowers were gorgeous. More beautiful than I had expected. They are very pricey but they know what they are doing. If you want to be assured of great quality and a beautiful decor, go with avant gardens. They are just a little slow at responding via email, thus I recommend calling directly whenever there is an issue. They were also able to rent furniture and do the lighting and draping. Its great getting all your needs from one location.

To be honest I wasn't super happy with my flowers- (the only part of the wedding that wasn't above and beyond amazing). Every time we met I felt great when I left, but when it came to execution on the day I was disappointed. They forgot ribbon and white ranunculus for my bouquet and didn't execute the vision as discussed. I had a chuppah constructed which was actually perfect, but I felt cheated on the aisle flowers (for what I paid). It's just that you pay so much money and labor over what it will all look like, go to the sample, feel excited, and then see that on the day of the wedding it looks like they forgot to look at the notes that they wrote down. Overall my wedding day was perfect, and I didn't let it bother me, I just wish I didn't spend so much money on flowers for what was delivered.
