  Allen and his team were incredible. He took time to plan out what we wanted based on photographs- and always kept within the budget and truly provided us with more than I ever thought our budget could showcase in flowers. He met with us about a month prior to the wedding to show us 3 centerpiece examples and my bouquet example. They were able to reuse my flowers from the church at the reception, and from the reception to our breakfast the following morning. We couldn't be more pleased with his artistic gift and every interaction we had. Many compliments from guests!!!

  Allen and his team were incredible.   Every interaction and encounter with Allen was professional, laid-back and friendly! Even though it didn't work out to see a real-live example of my wedding flowers, the flowers were exactly what I described! Allen worked with us to make sure we stayed in our budget, no pressure added to spend more money! Everything was perfect.

  We were more than pleased with Avant Gardens. Alan and his team were efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. We planned our State College wedding from South Jersey, so my flowers were actually planned via email and turned out better than I could have imagined. They transported everything perfectly on time. Pricing was great too. I HIGHLY recommend Avant Gardens for the perfect flowers, fitting of your special day!

  Avant Garden is an amazing florist and was one of the best decisions that I made for my wedding day! Working with Al was an amazing experience. His knowledge and expertise really helped me to organize my thoughts and pinpoint my many ideas.
  
  I came to him with a Pinterest board full of ideas and he was able to sit and look through all of my pins with me. He took all of my ideas and was able to create the most beautiful floral arrangements that I ever seen! Everything was perfect and amazing.
  
  I could not have asked for a more amazing florist! My wedding day was perfect and beautiful thanks to Avant Garden!

  The flowers for my daughter's wedding were beautiful - from the ceremony site, brides/bridesmaids flowers, boutineers to the reception flowers. Alan was wonderful to work with and was able to transform my daughter's vision to reality.

  Avant Garden did a spectacular job on our wedding flowers and reception centerpieces! We met with Allen several times over the course of our one-year engagement to discuss flower colors and varieties. It was always a pleasure talking with him. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, and he took a personal interest in our event. The day of the wedding, I arrived early at the church with my bridesmaids, and we were all so impressed with the beautiful arrangements that Avant Garden provided. The bouquets were stunning, as were the altar arrangement and the aisle markers for the pews. Likewise, the reception venue was absolutely elegant, thanks to the gorgeous centerpieces! The best part of all was that Allen had created all of those arrangements on our limited, grad student budget! I strongly recommend Avant Garden to anyone planning a wedding in the State College area. You will not be disappointed!

  Beautiful flowers and centerpieces just like I had envisioned. The owner even suggested rental baskets for our ceremony since we only needed them for a few hours. Great money saver with the rentals, excellent staff.

However, Allen at Avant Garden assured me we could stay within budget and still have beautiful flowers. He was very responsive, via telephone and email, and always immediately made the changes I had requested. We ended up getting even more than I had initially thought was included in the contract - the centerpieces were much more beautiful and included a lot more detail than I thought we were getting - and staying completely within budget, even including rental and decoration of the ceremonial chuppah, which was absolutely gorgeous and a very important part of our day.   I highly recommend Avant Garden in State College. They provided all the flowers for my wedding, and they did a great job. The owner, Allen, was extremely professional and responsive. He listened closely to my ideas, and was very easy to work with in general. The bridal party bouquets and center pieces, and church decor all turned out very well!

  Allen did a fantastic job. He spends a lot of time talking with you to make sure he knows exactly what you want. He will accommodate any special requests. He incorporated my great grandmothers broach and my mother pearl necklace into my bridal bouquet. Every time I called they were very nice. Highly recommend Avant Garden!!

  I chose this florist based on flowers I had received in the past which were the most gorgeous roses I have ever received!! I had no doubt that Allen and his team would put together gorgeous arrangements and that is exactly what he did!! I was blown away at both the bouquets and table arrangements! I only gave him the exact colors I wanted and a few ideas and he came up with the rest!! It was as if he was reading my mind!! Not to mention that the price was SO on target to what I wanted to spend!! Wonderful job! Only quirk I had was it was very hard at times to get ahold of Allen, otherwise OVERLY happy with the services!

  I made so many last minute requests, and avant garden was also responsive, polite, and professional. The price was fair. They delivered everything on time and set it all up beautifully. The only complaint I have is that the color of the flowers were pastelish and I wanted bright flowers. However, I am sure it is difficult to match a color exactly. My bouquet was beautiful and lasted for weeks in a vase! The center pieces were easy to lift out of the vases so people could take them home.
