I am blown away by the work of John from Avalanche Film Co. My video has absolutely exceeded my expectations and I am obsessed with watching it! John took clear direction of what was important to me, but also added his own creative touch. If I were to go back and do it over again, there would be nothing I would change. I highly recommend hiring John and his team to do video for your wedding, or any other event. Such talent!Avalanche Film's reply:

Hiring Avalanche Film was an excellent decision for us when planning our wedding. Videography was one of the most important things. We looked at numerous blogs and websites before coming to our final decision. Personally, I couldn't be happier with the choices we made for our videographer. On the day, Jon was confident and discreet, capturing many natural and candid moments. We absolutely enjoy watching our wedding videos and remembering all the happy moments! Thank you so much! The highlight video is awesome and my parents dancing together is such a treasure for us!

IT WAS A PLEASURE
working with Jon for our 1st look and wedding day photo/video shoot. It’s nerve wracking to be in front of cameras in general. Jon gave us directions, made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to have fun and it allowed us to embrace the experience and really be present in the moment. In addition to his camera work, we were impressed with his video editing skills. He has great attention to detail and feel for camera angles, color correction and sound effects. He is a true professional and we can’t say enough good things about him! -

I can’t express how thankful we are to have Jon from AVALANCHE FILM as our videographer for wedding weekend. I am a wedding planner myself and have hired Jon to capture footage for my couples many times, and I knew right away I wanted him to be the person to capture all our special moments. Jon flew out from Los Angeles to Hunt Valley, Maryland, and began videographing my bridal shower on Friday afternoon, then our rehearsal dinner that evening, and finally our wedding day on Saturday. Jon was INCREDIBLE!! He has such an eye for capturing candid moments and putting pieces of the day into a beautiful love story. I will always cherish the moments on film of my mom and I laughing together, my aunt giving me a huge hug, my bridesmaids dancing in the bridal suite, my husband seeing me walk down the aisle.. these are the moments I will always remember and now always have with me to watch over and over again. He is extremely professional and detail-oriented. Jon and I spoke on the phone about our priorities and overall vision for the video, and I can confidently say that he exceeded our expectations and truly went above and beyond for Matt & I. All our words can't accurately describe how great Alec is as a wedding videographer. The customer service provided from the first point of contact was excellent. Alec was prompt in responding, patient and understanding. I have nothing but good things to say about him.
Alec was the perfect mix of discreet and low-key but also engaging, smiling and light-hearted - a pleasure to be around. He was an essential part of our wedding, not just because he helped us capture our wedding film but because he helped make it a memorable experience. We got the chance to stroll along with Alec while he took some shots of us. He had some advice on getting the best outcome, and the result was exactly what we wanted. We are so pleased with our brilliant highlights video!
