  Joanne was such an amazing photographer. Her work is beautiful and she is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. When we got our wedding pictures we were so happy with everything and the quality. She has great prices and is very responsive. We also got our pictures so fast. We would highly recommend Ava photography.

  Ava Photography did a wonderful job! We were so happy to have found Joanne. Our wedding was small and intimate with only 50 guests. She was able to put a custom package together for us that fit our needs and budget! We love our photos and can't stop looking at them. We are not picture people but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and it showed in the finished proofs- Thank you for you patience with us! Your work is beautiful and our photos exceed our expectations.

  We had met with a photographer that was recommended by our hotel event planner, but my fiance did not feel a "click" with her. We called two other photographers that we found on TheKnot.com, but ruled them out based on pricing. My fiance was referred to Joanne Medeiros at Ava Photography by a coworker. After we visited her in her New Bedford office, viewed samples of her work, checked out her prices, we were sold. Her prices were excellent compared to other vendors that we found on Wedding Wire and The Knot. We went down a month or so later to have our engagement photo session, and everything went very well. Friends and family loved the photos. Our wedding went very well too. Joanne arrived early, scoped out the location, and captured all the key moments. Her pictures tell the story of the wedding and showed the connection between my spouse & me in the engagement pictures. Joanne is also available to take baby photos, so we may hire her for that.

  When we first Met with Joanne, she was very friendly and comforting. She showed us her albums, had work beautifully displayed at her office and even did a slideshow on the computer. She photographed our engagement session at our favorite location in Bridgewater where we first met. We loved our engagement photos! She was calm, humorous and charismatic. She also photographed our Autumn wedding and her turn around time with the proof album was amazing! we got our album in 3 weeks after the wedding! images were sharp and gorgeous, some were black and white and some were enhanced to look like art! She captured so much detail. Couldn't have picked a better photographer! Can't wait for Joanne to photograph our little family soon!
