Aurelia did a phenomenal job as our wedding photographer and was a joy to work with throughout the entire process. We wanted our photos to convey our real and candid emotions as well as include some with an editorial flair, and Aurelia nailed it all. We first met Aurelia at our engagement shoot in April and she immediately put as at ease with her ability to help guide us smoothly from pose to pose and actually have a fun time! She took the time to get to know us both and I could tell right away how much Aurelia cares about her work and capturing what we wanted out of the shoot. At our wedding in December, Aurelia was extremely organized, guided us and our guests patiently to ensure all of our requested shots were taken, and still left us time to capture the fun and organic special moments throughout the day/night. She also brought an incredible second shooter to ensure we were fully covered. I am blown away with the photos from both our engagement shoot and wedding and how Aurelia was able to capture all of our emotions of both days in a beautiful package. I am so grateful to Aurelia for her work and could not recommend her more! -

The hardest part of writing this review was figuring out where to start with all the great things I have to say about Aurelia and her work.
The short review is: She's everything you could possibly want from a photographer and/or wedding vendor. 100/10 stars
The long version is: Obviously you can scroll her Instagram feed or website, see how gorgeous her work is, and know that she is extremely talented, but the person that creates those timeless photos is truly one of a kind. I spent hours upon hours searching for the perfect photographer for our wedding. Our initial conversation eased a lot of my nerves, and we booked our engagement session with her at Laguna Gloria. She absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. She was timely, organized, personable, detail-oriented, and patient. All of those were characteristics we were looking for, but that last one was a huge plus when it came to our wedding day. My husband and I have a very large family, and Aurelia (& her superstar second shooter) did a stellar job keeping everyone on task and getting all the necessary family photos out of the way, so we could get to all the fun photos. I love Aurelia and her work so much that my only regret is not booking her for bridals, too! I cannot wait to book another session with her in the future and cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a couples, engagement, or wedding photographer.

Aurelia is one of the best photographers I've ever had the pleasure of working with! She was timely, on top of every shoot, and had great energy throughout the entirety of the event. She was extremely personable, and very easy to communicate with and collaborate ideas with! Her shots were fresh and creative, and truly captured the couple's style. She is a very skilled photographer, and I look forward to working many more future events with her! -

My engagement pictures came out beautifully!
I actually found Aurelia on Instagram and contacted her when I saw how beautiful her pictures were. She responded quickly, her prices were reasonable and she was nice. She returned the engagement photos in a timely manner and they turned out awesome! -

Adventurous, passionate, confident, and memories i will forever cherish!
Aurelia was THE BEST! She came ready to go, right on time. She captured our day with so much passion and joy. She knows the camera and creates the look you have always dreamed up! We explored downtown Greensboro and she never been but she walked those streets with confidence and captured our favorite pictures! So thankful for her!! -

Great photographer for our perfect day.
We loved Aurelia. She has a great personality and was awesome throughout the whole process (Hamilton songs included). She really made us comfortable the whole day. Pictures were exactly what we were hoping for too. Would definitely recommend for your day. We already booked her again for a fall shoot with our dogs -

Exactly what I wanted
Aurelia is amazing! My fiancé and I threw together a last minute courthouse wedding so that we could start his immigration process. I contacted Aurelia within a few days of the event, and she quickly responded that she was free and would be happy to work with us. She was communicative throughout the whole process, giving my *husband* and I instructions for how to pose and even showing us example photos (this was so great because neither one of us have spent much time in front of a camera). What I loved most was that she showed us the pictures on the back of the camera after almost every pose. This made me feel like part of the process, and definitely more comfortable and confident. I haven’t even gotten back all of my edited images yet, and I am already so happy with what I have seen. The pictures are everything I wanted and more. -

Aurelia gave us a generous amount of photos, yet she was unprofessional on our wedding day — it was on the brink of COVID, and she came in flustered, venting to my bridal party about the unfolding events. When you hire someone in the wedding industry, they should be keeping the day calm, yet I had to ask her to cease the conversation.
From booking Aurelia to receiving our photographs, I have felt uncomfortable communicating with her because whenever I asked a question, I’ve received an abrasive response. I thought this may be a misperception, so I attempted to talk to her by phone, but she expressed she doesn’t communicate with clients by phone. Fast forward a week before our wedding, she offers to talk by phone. I was thrilled to be getting away from emailing and have something more personal, yet 5PM (our agreed time) rolls by, no call: I located her number off our contract and called her myself. She apologized and said she lost track of time. Things happen, sure, but with how difficult it’s been communicating overall, this felt unprofessional and frustrating.
Lastly, when receiving our sneak peak, I expressed to her that I loved the photos, yet I looked very pale and discolored to my true skin tone and asked if there was something she could do. She said she’d look into it. More photos are released, my coloring is still off, and the grooms tuxes that are navy appear black, and the bridesmaids dresses that are slate blue appear teal. I emailed her asking if she could do something to have them look more like the actual color, and she created a defensive response saying that because I wanted to look less pale, the colors were distorted. This is untrue since the same images from the sneak peak had the same issue. She also explained to me that she does not “edit to color”, and her editing aesthetic is “moody and desaturated”. At the end of the day, these photographs will hang in your home for the rest of your life — We hired this person to capture our day; we didn’t hire her to fulfill her desire to enhance her portfolio. She said she’d fix it, but if I had anymore editing requests, it’d be subject to a fee (which is a contradiction to our contract). She did edit most of the images, and we’re satisfied with the final result, but we’re exhausted and disappointed with how hard it was to get here.
All of this taken into consideration, I regret to say I don’t recommend her. I think with a little more seasoning in soft skills and learning how to have consistent business practices, she could be wonderful, but what could have been a happy and fun piece of our planning turned sour with Aurelia.
