The Audubon house is stunning and the tropical gardens added such a beautiful touch to the day. Walking through the gardens, it was tough to imagine how it would look when everything was set up but it completely blew me away. It was the most beautiful setting for our day and many of our guest complimented how perfect the venue was with all the lush greenery and the blooming flowers. I highly recommend this venue! -

As soon as I saw the Audubon House, I knew it was my venue, but BOY did I underestimate just how gorgeous it would be on our wedding night!
As a South Florida native, I really wanted a unique venue that was outside, had a Florida feel, wasn't a restaurant, wasn't a ballroom, and didn't have a view of the ocean that would turn into a black hole at night. The Audubon House has the perfect blend of history, a blank canvas for your ideas, AND is mostly outdoors! The natural beauty of the venue means you can save money on flowers and decor, and the layout is perfect for making a wedding of 105+ feel like an intimate backyard soiree... if you lived in a gorgeous historic house just blocks from the ocean in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
The venue events manager, Laura, is so helpful and is a great person to bounce ideas off of since she's seen so many weddings in the space. Her vendor list is full of incredible people who will make your night just as you dreamed. Most of the big vendors are VERY used to working there, which really helped with coordinating logistics, etc.
I can't say enough good things about the Audubon House. Our guests were honestly shocked at how beautiful it was - and looking back at the pictures, I am convinced this is the most beautiful wedding venue in Florida. -

We just celebrated our wedding at The Audubon House and all I can say is STUNNING! Everything about this space is absolutely gorgeous. A hidden gem in the heart of Key West that makes you feel like it’s your own private oasis. Laura was absolutely fabulous to work with and everyone else we encountered there was so kind and friendly. I truly could not recommend the Audubon enough, it was an absolute dream wedding for us! -

Dream Wedding
I chose Key West for our destination wedding simply because I found The Audubon House on this app! I did not see the venue in person until the day before wedding a blown away by how beautiful it is. My dream wedding in a plush and tropical space. The location was also great for guests to get to and close to duval street to be able to walk to after our reception for an after party. Amazing!
There’s really not anything I can say that hasn’t been said by other reviewers. I will start with the venue itself, it's stunning. The venue is the perfect combination of tropical oasis and wedding venue. I booked the venue sight unseen, and it was more beautiful than I ever imagined. The pictures do not do justice to the property. Aside from the setting, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Laura. Laura helped us bring our wedding vision into reality after a nearly three year Covid delay! She was absolutely amazing and was always there to answer any of our questions and offer her expert opinion. This venue is all around amazing. -

Dream Venue
When I first did a venue tour through Audubon House grounds, I knew this was the perfect place for our Key West wedding. The grounds themselves don’t need much decor to look totally done up, because the gardens are so beautiful in their own right. We rented string lights for the courtyard (note to future couples, say yes to the lights, most magical vibes) and it really brought the place together. This was the perfect size venue for our party of about 75. Intimate enough to feel like everyone is at one big dinner table, but big enough to not get claustrophobic. The set up was perfect for dinner and dancing - we had plenty of space on the dance floor, but not too much space where it felt empty and had a great time all night!! Our guests continually commented on how beautiful Audubon House was! Laura was also absolutely wonderful to work with - seamless interactions from start to finish. We could not have picked a better place to have our long awaited Covid postponed wedding!Audubon House & Tropical Gardens's reply:

This is truly one of the most beautiful places to get married in Key West! It is full of historical charm, and the tropical gardens are pristine. On top of that, the staff is very professional and accommodating! We loved having our wedding at the Audubon House, and we highly recommend it to others with a discerning eye for all that is quintessential Key West! -

Laura and everyone at Audubon house did an amazing job with our wedding! We’re from Pennsylvania so trying to plan a wedding from a far was tough but Laura kept me updated and made suggestions every step of the way. I felt totally at ease on my wedding day and everything went perfect. We had weather concerns and Laura was able to help us get a clear tent at the last minute (we ended up not needing it but it still looked beautiful). I highly recommend Audubon House for your wedding if you’re looking for a tropical wedding but different than your normal beach wedding.Audubon House & Tropical Gardens's reply:

We were just married at Audubon House this past weekend. I must say, the photos do not do this place justice. This venue is absolutely beautiful! The garden is filled with amazing flowers, which makes decorating so simple. You really do not need to add much to the already lush gardens. The back drop for the ceremony, which is the house, was absolutely perfect! The staff is so friendly, kind, and attentive. Laura was so nice and helpful with the planning process. I must add, the lanterns they have throughout the garden are more than enough to light up at night and help to create that romantic feel. You don’t need to spend the money on the string lights if you don’t want to. I would highly recommend Audubon as your wedding venue for both your ceremony and reception. -

Working with Laura was an absolute pleasure. I planned my wedding from 1200 miles away and picked Audubon House sight unseen. Working with Laura made me confident it was the right place to have our wedding. She was attentive and on top of everything. Audubon House is truly the most beautiful place in Key West to have a wedding. The pictures don’t do it justice. Our guest can’t stop telling us how perfect our wedding was. -

We had just our ceremony at this location and it was absolutely perfect! We had the location reserved for an hour and was a perfect amount of time. The Event Coordinator onsite was extremely easy to work with and very helpful planning from far away. The property itself is extremely beautiful and in a really great location. I'd highly recommend getting married at this location. -

Wow, that's the first thing I need to say about working with the team at Audubon House. Laura, my day of coordinator, works at Audubon House and gave me such great tips and advice, and because I was DIYing a big part of it, she helped me make budget friendly but still classy decisions. I really don't know what I'd do without her! She was happy to answer all my questions, was even helpful calming me down about my weather anxiety! I had 83 guests and it was the PERFECT number, not crammed, everyone had room to dance freely and most of the vendors I used already know the garden so it was a breeze to have them set up in the space. She loves the garden, respects it, and made sure all my wedding decor and layout worked perfectly on the grounds. It is SUCH an amazing venue, I'm sorry to say that I would pick it over and over again, it had so much more to offer than other venues in Key West. To any future bride, trust them and pick a theme that includes the garden and doesn't try to overshadow it, that's the beauty of historical landmarks and nature. Once again, thank you so much Laura and Audubon House, we had the best time of our lives. -

Everything was perfect!!
The Audubon House is beautiful and was the perfect place for our wedding! The house is gorgeous and the gardens are stunning! Laura was beyond helpful and very responsive with any questions I had. Everyone was so impressed on how beautiful it was, with all the trees and plants. It was absolutely stunning and the Audubon House topped it off. Definitely would recommend to anyone. We loved it! The staff was wonderful and helped make the day special.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this garden is as a venue. All of the greenery and the gorgeous house have made our photos look like a professional prepared photoshoot. Having such a lovely venue helped our wedding day look as magical as it felt.
