Loved working with AOF

We loved working with AOF for our wedding! We enjoyed the tasting and were happy with how patient and responsive the team was to our questions and changes. (Shout out Paige and Karmin!) Many of our guests have complimented our food, and I’ll forever be dreaming of the feta potatoes in particular!

Great Food and Professional Staff

I am so glad we decided to go with Attitude on Food for our wedding food. We got so many compliments from guests on our food, and the entire process from start to finish with Missy and the rest of the team was so easy. They were flexible when we wanted to change items on our menu and the tastings were a great way to try a large portion of their menu to help plan our menu for the big day. I can’t recommend them enough!

A Delicious Choice!

The food was delicious and plentiful, and the guests were raving about it. We knew from the catered tasting we attended that this was the food we wanted. Missy also generously provided us with multiple proposals as we tried to decide the best way to serve everything. 5 stars!

Amazing!!!

We did a burrito bowl buffet bar for our wedding and it was a huge hit! Attitude on Food was super easy to work with, the food was great, and it was affordable. I would absolutely recommend them!

Attitude on Food definitely lived up to their high ratings! They were very easy to work with, were quick to answer questions and did an amazing job the day of! Wedding planning is so stressful and this was one part that was easy! Food came out at the perfect time, feeding 300 people went very fast with the 2 serving lines they had, and they were very accommodating in serving the dessert we brought in! Can't recommend them enough. Thanks Alyson for being great to work with and thanks Attitude on Food!

AOF is the best there is! From the start of planning to the day of the wedding they went above and beyond. They are always available and do an amazing job helping you create your vision. Everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding and now reflecting back on every detail they perfected blew me away! People had endless comments about how wonderful the food was (I recommend the champagne chicken and short ribs!). The crew's professionalism was top notch and their swift service at the bar helped get people back to the dance floor faster! Thanks again AOF!

I was extremely impressed with their team. Their food was great quality and the price was reasonable. They helped coordinate my rentals as well which was an added bonus!

With our wedding venue, we had to take care of figuring out the food/drinks and rental. AT first that was very overwhelming until we met with Shelby at AOF. She put our nerves at ease by helping us plan the perfect wedding! It was almost like having a wedding planner - she not only helped us with the food, but also rentals. We had our ceremony and reception in the same location so we went through floor plans together to visualize the transition. She seriously went above and beyond! The food was amazing and we had many compliments from our guests!

When looking for a food and beverage vendor keep in mind flexibility and overall responsiveness! We did a lot of customization in our order and it was so comforting to have Shelby at AOF get back to us right away and clarify or change anything if we had questions! It was also wonderful to have the option to make changes to how food is cooked, sauce pairings, quantity limitations, etc without the extra service charges! Our guests raved about our food and we loved the experience!

We worked with Shelby planning our day. We had three options tied with our chosen venue, but AoF is the only caterer that we gave any consideration to. They had the style option that we wanted (heavy hors d'oeuvre) and the food sounded like it would match our tastes. We met with Shelby and I asked a TON of questions and we came in for one of their scheduled tastings, and we were sold very quickly not only because of how wonderful the food was, but because of how wonderful the people working for the company were to work with.

As we got closer to day of, Shelby was very patient with more questions, changes in what we wanted, and offered up ideas and input into other details, such as linen - which the company can organize for you, as they contract with a linen company. This helped us a lot and was one less thing and vendor that we had to worry about.

On day of: the food was, of course, amazing, and we received a lot of comments from our guests about how great it was. We did not interact much with the staff present on day of, however for what interactions we did have, the staff was very courteous and kind.

For couples: food is one of the biggest expenses of a wedding, Attitude on Food is a fantastic vendor, well worth the costs!

Note: Amount spent with vendor includes $550 for linens and an open bar for 4 hours.

We have been primarily working with Britney for our wedding. She has been very helpful in planning the details for our special day and has great knowledge of everything that we need to do in the planning process. Although our wedding is not until October, Britney has been wonderful so far and I know she and the rest of the Attitude on Food staff are going to be a great asset for our day!

Wonderful Food & Service! We could not be happier with the food and service! Our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The servers were happy, polite and hard working. They went the extra mile to make us happy with the menu by bringing in Ranch chicken. The loaded mac & cheese is to die for and the boneless short ribs!

I highly recommend you use Attitude on Food for your catering. They are so easy to work with and their food is fantastic. You have to try their Gourmet Mac and Cheese. It is to die for. The majority of the compliments I received about my wedding reception involved the food. The staff are wonderful and you will not be disappointed.

Attitude on Food was such an important part of our wedding celebration, I really and truly believe they're the best in Omaha (and beyond) at what they do. The food was absolutely fantastic, there were so many options to choose from and they made it known that they would customize anything for us. I worked with Shelby, who very obviously loves her job and weddings in general, she was patient and helpful with everything and very responsive to every email. (I emailed a LOT, you guys) My guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. When we went to our tasting we loved everything we tried and even more impressive was how much pride and passion were evident in their entire staff. Couldn't say enough great things about them. Hire them, brides! You will be super happy you did!

Everything was phenomenal and affordable. I loved that none of their catering options were boring, everything was a little outside of the box and they were super accommodating. I don't have a single negative thing to say! Love, love, love!

The food, service, and presentation were great. Our guests raved about the food. And of course, the macaroni bar was a huge hit. The suggestion to do food stations, as opposed to a regular buffet, was a good call. I highly recommend AOF.

Food was great! We did prime rib and champagne chicken buffet. Appetizers went very quickly! My husband and I were so busy we are about two bites so I did not get to enjoy the food but many people commented how the food was really good and better than standard wedding meal. We did s'mores bar too. That is only item I probably would have taken off if I would have known better idea what it looked like. Overall, you can't go wrong with this team!

Attitude on Food was amazing!! Their food was delicious and we received so many compliments. I wish that they had a restaurant so that we could eat their food all the time. Most importantly, their service is incredible. I emailed them probably 20-30 times and have gotten prompt replies throughout. I had to add an entree less than a month before because of a plan that fell through and they accommodated with no problem! I was concerned about getting appetizers once the bridal party arrived to the reception but a server brought plates of them right to the head table still warm! The only negative thing that happened was that the coffee station they provided at the ceremony leaked but they took care of it and it was never my issue to deal with. All in all, everything that we asked for was delivered. As a young bride, I must point out that I felt respected and taken seriously by the whole staff. Thank you so much for helping make my wedding unforgettable.

This company is AMAZING. I was still receiving compliments on their food for days after my wedding. The servers are willing to help with set up and tear down, which was very helpful since I didn't have a lot of family there to help. I was hesitant to go with them for their price tag, but I'm so glad I did--the food was worth it!!!

Our wedding was at the Durham Museum, a venue that allows couples' flexibility in choosing any caterer that fits their needs. My husband and I initially chose AoF based on taste alone - and our food was exceptionally delicious! Our and our families' high expectations were surpassed and we received many compliments from guests on our wedding day and after. AoF was also very flexible in preparing three menus for us - the main dinner menu, a kids menu, and a late night menu for our guests that enjoyed our party all night long. Even the 11:00 pm wings and sliders were delicious!

This being said, the real highlight of AoF lies with Nathan, Melissa, and all of their wonderful staff. After deciding on AoF at their tasting, we scheduled a planning meeting with Nathan and Melissa. They really worked with us to fit as many luxurious and delicious details as possible into our budget. As our planning continued, they graciously worked with both Durham and our rental company to make sure we had everything we needed, including resolving a potential crisis with another vendor - on Nathan's cell phone at 8am the day of our wedding. At our reception, every server and bartender I interacted with made sure we and our guests had everything we needed, were pleasant and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. At the end of the day, we not only had 300+ happy guests, but we felt as if we got the best value for our money. Highly and enthusiastically recommended!!

This was our second wedding in one year and both times we used Attitude on Food. I would not use anyone else. The food is amazing and even if they don't have something listed, they will do what they can to make what you want. Since one of our weddings was at our home, I saw first hand how hard the staff worked. They did everything they could to make sure every detail was taken care of. I can't say enough about their staff. Customer service...awesome! Food...incredible! Why go anywhere else?

For my husband and I, food was a top priority on our wedding list. We wanted quality food at an affordable price for our guests. Attitude on Food was incredible. Chef Nathan Newhouse called me personally, and Melissa met with my mom and I a few times to discuss menu options, etc. They were both so helpful, and were so flexible with our menu options. I have a food allergy, so I was concerned if I could even have any of their food at my wedding. Chef Nathan helped me find certain foods that I could eat that ended up being a hit with our guests. Everyone RAVED about the food. The salmon and fish tacos seemed to be especially popular. I had used Attitude on Food for other events in the past, and I always get quality service and food from them. So, when I got engaged, I instantly knew who I wanted to cater my food. They definitely did NOT disappoint!!

I can't tell you how many of our guests came up to us during our wedding to tell us how good our food was!

We loved our food from the moment we did our tasting. The presentation was wonderful and tasted amazing! Not only was the food amazing, but the price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely go through Attitude on Food for our future catering needs.

They were very flexible and professional. We worked mostly with Nathan Newhouse and Melissa Tibben- the two most wonderful people we had met in the catering business. They are transparent, honest and friendly, and they made our decision easy. Thanks Nathan and Melissa for adding the "Flavor" to our big day, making our dinner effortless and wonderful!

Chef Nathan, Melissa, and their crew are absolutely the best in town. Professional, prompt, fun to work with, all around great people. If I ever had a question they responded to my emails quickly and eased my bride-to-be nerves.

They work with all budgets and the food is AMAZING. Their staff was so fun at the reception and did such an amazing job.

I wish I was having another event just so I could work with them again! I will use them the next time I do have a large event!

We have worked with Attitude on Food many times for our clients' weddings. We absolutely LOVE them! Without a doubt we made the right decision when selecting Attitude on Food to cater our wedding. The meal was phenomenal and received numerous compliments from our guests. The entire process from the first meeting / tasting and menu selection to delivery was easy, oustanding and left us in awe of their professionalism and customer service. Absolutely amazing!! Such a great business that meets the needs of its customers. They offered a free tasting for us to attend and sat down with us at the event to discuss specifics. My guests could not stop talking about how delicious their food was - the best reception dinner they had ever had. I recommend this business to anyone who wants to get away from the typical reception food and get something with amazing variety and flavor.

Nathan & Melissa are very knowledgable and can help guide you through what can sometimes be a complicated process of selecting just the right food for your wedding and guests. I recommend participating in a tasting before you make yoru selections. Our food was fantastic! The horderves were unbelievable...I could have made on meal on just those. We even had speciality drinks that people loved. My family has personally used Nathan's services for several other events and each time the food was the highlight of the party. You won't be disappointed if you choose Attitude on Food.

This company is absolutely fabulous! Chef Newhouse responded to my inquiry within a couple of hours of my leaving a message. They had great ideas for a menu. We had a sit down dinner for 300 and a social hour with butlered hors d'oeuvres before dinner. They had GREAT recommendations for the entrees-All delicious-hard to chose. Even prepared a request of my daughter's. Our requirements were that everyone at each table was served at the same time, the food was hot, and staff was invisible yet efficient. They exceeded our expectations! Everyone RAVED about the food and service and the politeness of the staff. Even people who did not attend the wedding celebration that we ran into days after said they had heard how fabulous the meal was. We had a nightmare of a decorator and the staff at Attitude on Food pitched in and finished the job of my decorator so I wouldn't have to when I arrived at social hour and I could enjoy the time with my only child, my daughter. Melissa was absolutely wonderful! We felt like we were the only celebration they were doing and we were top priority. If you want GREAT food, GREAT service, professionalism and class....this is the caterer for you! They also did our bar service at both the social hour and reception and didn't miss a beat. Absolutely PERFECT! The venue manager said they left the facility in great condition so I am expecting my deposit back. The rental company said the way they cleaned, bagged and repacked everything was absolutely wonderful. He said he wished all of the caterers would do that nice of a job. They are truly dialed in!

I read so many positive comments about Nathan and Melissa at Attitude on Food, and my experience ranked right up there! They were so good about answering our questions, responding quickly, and making suggestions about how to make the night go smoothly. We were pretty open about the fact that we were on a budget, and they still offered great service. We had a unique set up that night, so there were lots of questions & random requests, and they were patient and helpful through the whole thing.

But the best part was the night of our wedding. Our food was AMAZING! I've had so many people tell me how impressed they were with the food. For weeks my coworkers teased each other about how many times each went up for more of the garlic mashed potatoes. I loved the Champagne Chicken! The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. They had to flip the room between the ceremony & the reception, and they got it done quickly and everything was just as it should be.

I would highly recommend Attitude on Food.

Food from Attitude was delicious and one of my favorite parts of our wedding. The servers were very professional and our guests with food restrictions said they were amazed at the variety that was offered to them.

The entire staff at Attitude on Food was wonderful! Nathan was very flexible with our menu and offered wonderful suggestions for our meal. Our wedding dinner was the best catered meal I've ever had. I'm still craving the pasta he made for us! His staff was also great to work with. The servers were on top of things and communicated with me and my husband throughout the night on how things were going. They even helped cut cake, which we didn't expect them to do. Attitude on Food also took care of booking our rentals for the evening, and setting up and breaking down. They made everything so easy! I would definitely recommend their professional and easy to work with services to anyone. Wedding planning was a breeze with Nathan and his staff! THANKS!

We had a very good experience with Attitude on Food for our wedding reception. They were very flexible in the planning process and we were able to taste food both at a general event, and then privately to taste what we would be serving at our reception, as that was very important to us. Shelby was wonderful to work with in the planning process and she made sure everything we wanted came to light - even a very last minute decision on dessert, including a pretty dessert table set-up! We had an awesome family-style menu that was exactly what we wanted. Everything tasted great (especially the mushroom risotto - yum!!!) and was presented nicely - we received many compliments on the food! The service was great, as well. Our only (very small) disappointment was that one of the two entrees was not plated quite as fancy as it was presented in our taste-test meal (the taste meal had a stuffed chicken breast with a wing and the actual meal was just a stuffed chicken breast with less stuffing,) which was a surprise since it wasn't what we expected but the taste was the same. I would recommend Attitude on Food for any catering needs!

This is the place to go for your catering needs- Attitude on Food catered our Wedding on 8/23/14, and they did a fabulous job! The guests were raving on the service and food provided. When I had question during the planning process, they were quick to respond. I highly recommend AOF for any special occasion.

Food was one of the first things we booked for the wedding. We knew we wanted to do food stations so our guests could enjoy a variety of options. Since our reception was at a venue where only table & chairs were provided, it was amazing to find a food vendor who could also handle drinks & the bar — and at a reasonable, hassle-free price.

After booking with AOF, they made sure to assist with whatever I needed. They were so helpful during the planning phase — providing honest & smart answers that helped me save time and money on a number of things (not just food & drink!). Big thanks to Shelby for answering all of my questions so quickly.

The food and service at our wedding was amazing! AOF made sure every detail was taken care of so we didn’t have to stress. Everything at the food stations was delicious, and the ice cream sandwich dessert bar was a huge hit. Thanks for all your assistance AOF! We will be recommending you for years to come :)

The night before our wedding there was a freak storm that knocked out power to almost the entire city, which remained out the next morning. I was in a complete panic. Nathan and his crew already had a plan B and had found a generator for both their needs and the needs of the site where we were having the reception. (We got power back in time, but still, it was comforting to have a backup.) He knew more about having a reception at this facility than did the reception site director. The food was delicious. We had Mediterranean chicken, sirloin and pasta selections and a salad adorned with this scrumptious vanilla bean dressing. His crew really went above and beyond - AND made up for the shortcomings of other vendors.

Buffet for indoor summer wedding 2019

Great service. The up charge for the flank steak was worth it! Also the classic Alfredo pasta was amazing, so glad we asked to try it! Missy was great with communication. We were allowed to take the leftovers home with us, all we had to do was provide the Tupperware! All our guests mentioned how good the food was!

Attitude on Food is absolutely amazing! The food is delicious and they are such great people to work with. The only thing I suggest is to make sure you stay on top of things and follow up with them. Everyone LOVED our food!

I have booked Attitude on Food for our catering services for our wedding. They are friendly and made things easy to understand. I'm new to this whole thing and it's great to know how well they can communicate with us. We were able to attend a tasting event they had and the food was amazing. It is so great they offer such an opportunity. We were able to taste foods on their menu that we never would have picked without doing so. We are so very excited to have them be apart of our big day!

The food was absolutely amazing! We had several of our guests comment that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The prices were more than reasonable and they were very accommodating to our numerous dietary and allergy restrictions. The only disappointment was that we were told we could take our leftovers if we brought containers, but the staff was not informed of this and would not let us take what was left of our food. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

We were mostly happy with our caterer, there were a few things that could have been better. They had told us early on that they could set up our hall and everything so we wouldn't have to worry about that, then that week we found out that it would cost extra.
We were told our drinks from the bar would be free, but the bartender tried to charge us, and when I told her, she said she didn't know. They also didn't card some minors that crashed our wedding.
We really liked that Nathan, the owner would personally meet with us, and respond to our questions. He and Melissa wee very friendly and personable!
Everyone raved about the food, so that was good.

Their food and service was very good. The only problems were that we had ordered green bean almandine for a side and we got mixed veggies on the day of. I also attended a wedding where they had ordered Mac and cheese and green beans and only got mixed veggies. At my wedding the beef was slightly dry but the chicken and potatoes were awesome.

Our friends and family are still talking about the food from our wedding (over 6 months later). Nathan really pullled of a gourmet restaurant meal for 250 people! We are wine & foodies (love fine dining), so having a great meal was critical! We had originally wanted a plated meal and Nathan really worked with me, letting us know that in our venue (Western Heritage museum, with a very small staging area & no kitchen) a buffet could be made to look classy & food would be better! It was delicious! I actually even ate! I have never had food that good at a catered event.

As a bride I would recommend staying very organized & on top of plans and details yourself since this is a staff of amazing chefs, not wedding planners.
