    I recently worked with Atmosphere for my wedding at Woodend Sanctuary and they did an absolute bang-up job. Honestly, in the blur that was my wedding day, the beautiful lighting was one of the things I remember the most. I met Bryan at the venue to do a walk through and his ideas were perfect and just in line with my vision. On the day of the wedding, it turned out exactly as planned. The space both indoors and out was bathed in beautiful pinks and golds and fall colors around the wooded areas. Just beautiful. Wonderful service. So happy I chose Atmosphere!

    Sparky was great to work with. He made the process very easy. When I walked into my reception I was blown away at his work. All the pin lighting, cake lighting, and uplighting was amazing! I highly recommend them!

    Atmosphere did an incredible job with the lighting for my venue. Sparky was my main POC, several of my friends had previously worked with him and they all loved his work. Told him my colors, the ambiance I was going for, and he delivered. Even contacted him a few weeks before the big day to request some drapery and he quoted me $1K less than what our venue offered. Extremely glad to have worked with Sparky and Atmosphere on our big day.

    I worked with Jay from Atmosphere lighting for our wedding on Sept 1, 2012. He met with me at my venue, and brought some lighting samples for us to go through. I didn't expect that at all and was so pleasantly surprised by the level of service he provided. He suggested we did two colors, one for the background wall lights and another for these columns in the center of our ballroom and it was such a great suggestion! The room gave off a warm feeling, and was definitely gorgeous! I was glad to see after receiving my pictures, it also photographed beautifully.

    I did quite a bit of research and received quotes from several different vendors. Atmosphere provided the best value for their service! I found that some other vendors tried to nickel and dime you with all of their extras, and this was not the case with Atmosphere.

    We used Sparky for our lighting and were extremely pleased with the outcome. He was easy to work with, and very available to talk to regarding our desired needs.....always offering his thoughts when we asked him.

    Our wedding reception was a beautiful evening. The pin-spotting on the centerepieces on the tables was so elegant and definitely "made" the decor. We also used the uplights on the walls and it was such a luxurious look.

    I hadn't thought about the value of lighting for my wedding until my venue recommended it to me. I met with Andrew Platt as he setup for another wedding at our venue and the place was absolutely transformed! Andrew provided a beautiful "glow" for the ceremony, a fun patterned wash on the wall behind the bar, uplighting for the reception, pin spots on the dinner tables, and hung paper lanterns around the room for us. It really pulled the whole look together and changed what would have been an average looking wedding into something really special. I urge you to consider lighting design for your wedding, and if you do, please contact Atmosphere. They do quality work at a very reasonable price.

    Professional lighting makes all of the difference. Atmosphere Lighting completely transformed our venue into a sophisticated, elegant affair. We worked with Bryan, who listened carefully to our requests and delivered exactly as promised. I highly recommend professional lighting in general, and Atmosphere Lighting specifically.

    We worked with Sparky Hopkins at Atmosphere. He was wonderful. He was familiar with our venue, which made it very easy. We did pin-spot lighting on our centerpieces and up-lighting around the room. We did one walk through before the wedding and I told him what kind of "feel" I wanted the room to have, that was pretty much it. I never even thought about doing lighting before I got engaged but as I began looking at pictures of receptions I liked, I realized many of things I liked about the pictures was because there was lighting. I believe the lighting was the single biggest bang for the buck impacting the feel of our reception room. Highly recommend it!

    We hired Atmosphere Lighting for our reception and couldn't have been more pleased. We weren't sure whether we wanted to spend money on lighting, but we're so glad we did - it makes such a huge difference!

    Jeff was our contact throughout the entire process, and it was really great to work with him. He was very responsive and professional, which made the whole process very stress-free. They really take pride in their work - they even did more than what we paid for because it made the room look so nice!

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Them along with our band absolutely made our reception party. Joe was so easy to work with and accommodating. His response time to my emails was uncanny, I'm talking about within the hour. The lights were so tastefully done that they just accentuated the flowers the dancing and the band. It was so amazing. They transformed the hotel's conference room into a gorgeous ballroom. If you want lighting, I would go with Atmosphere. They are the best service out there period.

    Our vision for our venue site would not have become a reality without Atmosphere Lighting. Although Ceresville Mansion (our ceremony and reception venue site) is gorgeous already, the lighting really added the extra spark on top to really transform it to the next level and give the exact mood that we were aiming for. Both the outdoor terrace and indoor ballroom were beautifully lit with our blue color theme. It was the perfect balance of light and color. Our custom gobo came out exactly as we had designed it to. The best thing about Atmosphere is their williness to work within your budget and to achieve the goals that you want for your wedding. Sparky was the person we worked with and he was always extremely professional, flexible, and responsive. He really made us feel important and that he cared about giving us exactly waht we wanted on our big day. I would recommend lighting for any wedding as it really makes a large difference. I would also highly encourage you to choose Atmosphere Lighting.

    We used Atmosphere Lighting for the pin spotting for our tables and cake and up lighting for the walls around the room. They also provided "party" type lighting for the dance floor. We couldn't be more pleased with how they transformed a basic ballroom into an elegant and classy event.

    We booked this vendor pretty early and I met with one of their lighting techs, Bryan Miller, a few months ago at the hotel. He was extremley professional and listened to what we wanted and gave us great suggestions. We emailed a couple of times before the event because I had more tables than originially planned and Bryan was very accomodating.

    I happened to run into Bryan and his counterpart Seth the night before the wedding while we were walking to the location of the Rehearsal. They were doing another walk through of the venue and talking about their plan for the lighting. It was comforting to see how serious they were taking our "job" and made me realize that I picked the right vendor :)

    I would recommend this company.... specifically Bryan Miller. Top notch!!!!

    Atmosphere Lighting made my reception posh and chic! I love working with Sparky, he is a true professional. He never treated me like a small client, he would come to meet me at the wedding venue after he just did a job at the National Zoo in DC. I know those darn panda bears aren't cheap. Sparky takes the time to listen to my vision, and even set up a demo so we can pick out the perfect color combination and gobos. He took it further by individually meeting with my venue coordinators to work with them so I get exactly what I want while staying in my budget. I have met with many event decor/design companies in the DC area, I felt like they were trying to make me pay a lot of money to achieve the look I want. Sparky has many years of experience under his belt, he thinks outside the box and utilized lighting techniques that are uncommon in the wedding industry. I was blown away when I entered my reception, it was like a dream.

    The lighting was awesome at my reception and really helped set the mood. The custom gobo came out exactly like how I wanted and everyone commented on how gorgeous the space was, moreso due to the lighting. They were also the most affordable of all the lighting companies I contacted. Sparky was great to work with as well.

    Great, though a bit pricey

    Atmosphere lighting did an excellent job setting up lighting at our venue- it set a great mood for the whole event, and we were particularly happy with how the bistro lighting on the outside area turned out. We have no complaints about any of the services we received. I only had a slight issue with the pricing, which felt high for the mostly baseline package we went with, but given how well things turned out I suppose you get the quality of service you pay for!

    Atmosphere was easy to work with and professional. We trusted them to set up appropriate lighting for our venue (national Museum of women in the Arts) and they did an excellent job. I hardly noticed they were there - which speaks to how easy they made it for us.

    We contracted with Atmosphere to provide the pinlighting for our floral centerpieces at our dinner reception, as well as a decorative monogram light of our initials, and a colorwash for the dance floor. All looked wonderful — especially the table centerpieces. The addition of the lighting really made the arrangements “pop”. All in all, we were very happy with the visual atmosphere they created for our reception room.

    Unfortunately atmosphere goes beyond simply visuals. The dance floor lighting was MUCH too bright and hot — feeling seriously almost as if we were inside a sauna. Every single guest on the floor was sweating profusely (even though the outside temperature was barely 60 degrees and the room temperature was set at 72). We have a photo of even our DJ, stationed at the center edge of the dance floor, with beads of sweat across his face. We hadn’t anticipated the need to have anyone from Atmosphere present throughout the 4-hour reception, so they had set up and were long gone before we realized the problem even existed.

    Most of the heat seemed to be generated by the colorwash lighting fixtures, so at our request our wedding coordinator ended up finding their plugs and unplugging them barely an hour after we opened the dance floor to our guests. Even though we feel as if we should have been warned ahead of time that the fixtures acted like heat lamps and would raise the temperature of the floor considerably, the stunning visual of the lighted table centerpieces was at least as memorable as the sweat — based on guest comments we heard in the weeks afterward.
