We loved Ted! Such a great DJ

Very Impressed!

Ted was an excellent DJ in every sense of the word but, what he did for us specifically, I will never forget! Something pretty bad happened at our wedding reception that I'd rather not go into. It probably would have ended the wedding but Ted immediately jumped up and took care of it in a few seconds, I was amazed! I honestly thought my reception had just ended but Ted saved the day like it was nothing! Thank you SO MUCH Ted, you are amazing! You can put out a fire better than a fireman!

It was Simply the Best!

He Gave Us Exactly What We Asked For

We gave Ted a timeline, a song list and some other instructions on how we wanted our reception. He did everything we asked for perfectly! He was funny, he kept the dance floor packed and he made it look effortless! I read some of the other reviews and they said it too, but do yourself a favor and HIRE THIS MAN!

Simply the Best!

I first found Ted on the internet, along with several other DJs, I asked about requirements and sent a list of other questions to all the DJ and had Zoom calls with two of them. After the Zoom call, there was no question, Ted knows his stuff! Our ceremony was outdoors and there was no electricity available, Ted said that was no problem. He was the only one I spoke to that said that. At the reception, he packed the dance floor from the first song and kept it packed the whole night. He’s simply the best!

Above and Beyond!

Ted has been the DJ at my parents’ country club holiday pool parties for as long as I can remember and he's always done a great job. When I saw his name on the club’s preferred vendor list for weddings, the choice was simple, I reached out and booked him immediately. The planning process was effortless and on the wedding day he exceeded my expectations. He Can Certainly Read a Crowd!

Ted was our DJ and he was perfect, we absolutely loved him. I noticed something that I thought I would share in this review. In the preplanning, I emailed him and asked, “How to you know what song to play when people are dancing?” I’m going to copy and paste what he emailed back to me: “Reading a crowd is something you just involuntarily learn to do. You look at the people dancing, you see how many guys, how many girls, the average age of the people dancing, what song is playing right now, what were the last five songs that I played? Is it time to change genres? Is it time for a slow song? And 100 other little details are running through my head and a song comes to mind, It’s like I’m playing a game of chess with the dancefloor.” For some reason this stuck with me and occasionally I would watch him and I could see he was studying every move the dance floor made. I saw him pick a song, then watch for another minute, change his mind and pick another song and in my opinion every song he played was the perfect song. I’m a school teacher and probably overly analytical and this was rather fascinating for me to watch. But if you want to hire a true professional, who knows exactly what he is doing, hire this man! Ted, I hope it’s okay that I shared this about you!

Exactly what I wanted

When I originally contacted Ted, i explained that I didn’t want a DJ to do anything other than play music and make announcements. He said that that would be no problem at all. He only played music and played announcements but he still packed the dance floor! I’m so glad I hired him, he kept the evening flowing and played the perfect music mix. I saw Ted at a wedding where I was a bridesmaid and this took one thing off my plate when I got engaged. I just emailed him and booked my date! Ted is easy to work with, he always emails you back and he’s a very fun DJ! I highly recommend him and would totally use him again for an event.

We Danced the Night Away

Wow, what a night! DJ Ted Crowder helped deliver a perfect evening for my wife and I at our wedding. Ted’s ability to emcee and announce the events was great, sound levels and mixing were perfect and best of all he really knows how to read the crowd and keep the dance floor full! Pleasantly Surprised

I was the groom at our wedding so I had nothing to do with the planning lol. My then fiancé told me who our DJ was, I Googled him and I found these reviews. I was expecting some wild man to show up and yank people out of their seats or something, but that’s not him. Ted is actually pretty laid back. He does use a couple or subtle tricks to get people dancing but mostly it’s just the fact that he is just an excellent professional DJ. He just knows when to play what song. Also, announcing toasts, cake cutting and those things, he always adds a little something to make you laugh. I’m more than happy with my bride’s choice. Thanks Ted!

He was a great choice!

I actually found Ted through a Google search at random, I filled out the form on his website and he emailed back within a few minutes. I also emailed a million other DJs and Ted was the only one that mailed me back the same day. After looking at pricing, reviews and my gut feeling, I requested a face to face meetings with 4 DJs, two of the four said they didn’t do meetings. This leaves Ted and one other DJ that I met with. There was nothing wrong with the other guy, honestly Ted was just funnier during the meeting and I thought that would carryover to his DJ ability and boy was I right! He was funny, high energy, a party starter and professional.! I don’t know how he could have made it any better. If I had it to do over again, I’d hire him in a second. I have nothing but good things to say about my DJ.

The Best DJ Around!

Ted DJ’d my daughter’s wedding 21 years ago and I actually got remarried this year. I looked Ted up and was thrilled to find that he was still in business. He did a fantastic job at both weddings and he gave both my daughter and myself exactly the party we were hoping for. You simply can’t go wrong with this man!

It was Flawless!

Ted was awesome to work with, I had to reschedule twice with Covid travel restrictions for my out of town guests and he was more than accommodating. I had a string quartet play my ceremony, so Ted was only involved with the reception. I had quite a rowdy bunch for my wedding party and I was quite impressed how Ted lined them up and introduced them into the room effortlessly and quickly. The whole job he did was perfect. He even ran out located my missing photographer when it was time to cut the cake. We had a great party and Ted did an awesome job. Thanks Ted!

Best Day of My Life!

My wedding was a COVID wedding and I was quite disappointed that I had to reduce my guest list from 150 down to 50. I can’t imagine having a better time though because Ted made it an absolute blast! He nailed the ceremony music, the backing track for the vocalist, microphone for the minister and everything else was flawless. Then, for the reception he played the perfect songs in the perfect order, there was never an awkward moment. He’s just naturally funny, every time he says anything everybody laughs. I’ve been to my share of weddings and there is something different about Ted, he doesn’t just play music, he makes sure everything goes just like I wanted it to. I am thrilled Ted was my DJ!

Very Customer Focused & Professional

We got married 6/28/20 and Ted was our DJ. We did an exhaustive search before finding him. Our goal was to have a DJ who would play our song list, not their own idea of what should be played, and be a professional presence versus a 'party animal'. Our guests were mostly in their 50s and 60s and we wanted an elegant atmosphere during the meal and an upbeat, fun atmosphere for the remainder of the reception. We also had a couple of unique requests for the DJ during our ceremony. Ted was the first DJ we found that actually listened to what we wanted and was willing to accommodate our wishes. All the others wanted to be the center of attention and 'keep the party going'. I'm sure Ted can do that as well, it's just not what we wanted. We had a small budget and he worked with us to come to a rate we could afford. Interestingly, he was one of the few DJs who agreed to meet us in person to discuss his services. (This was in December before Covid.) He was extremely responsive to the many questions we had. Because of Covid, we had to reschedule twice and he was very gracious in making himself available for us.

He showed up on time and was very professional. The ceremony went exactly as planned. The reception was great also. He was flexible when we asked him to jump ahead and play songs that were down the list. He even added some fun to the garter toss.

We were very pleased with Ted's service and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a DJ that knows how to listen to the customer!

I highly recommend Nick! You won't be disappointed!

Nick was absolutely amazing! As the groom the DJ was one of the few things I really had a strong opinion on. My fiancee at the time suggested Nick because she had remembered him from a friends wedding years before.

Nick really played a key part in our amazing wedding. One of my biggest fears was having a wedding with the same music from every other wedding but Nick gave us our own unique soundtrack based on the style of music we enjoy. Beyond the music he was there for everything to help keep the wedding moving and organized. He got people on the floor dancing, he helped keep things on schedule, he stalled the cake cutting when my bride needed a minute of fresh air all in all I am beyond happy that Nick was our DJ.

Ted is such a professional! From the first time I spoke to him, you can tell he’s done this many times and he knows exactly what to do. We hired him to do our ceremony, cocktail and reception music in three different places in the venue and he did everything perfectly. I can’t imagine how it could have gone any better. Thanks Ted!

Best Day Ever

The music for my ceremony and reception was flawless. Ted did everything I asked for and I couldn’t have asked for more! Ted was funny, professional, polite and he didn’t talk on the microphone between songs, one of my pet peeves. We had a couple of small issues, one with champagne and one with a missing groomsman, Ted solved both problems. Do yourself a favor, hire him now!

Ted gave me the perfect day

I saw Ted at my friend’s wedding. He was a very natural DJ and everything flowed so well. When it’s time to get the dancing started, he fills the dance floor no problem. I’m struggling for ways to describe him, he’s a total professional and really easy to work with. Hands Down- Best Decision You Could Make!

I knew Nick would do a fabulous job, but he surpassed all expectations! He ran the evening with natural ease from cocktail hour, first dances, buffet lines, bouquet/garter toss, cake cutting, and all of the nitty gritty details that I didn’t even know needed handling. (Oh, and the most perfect selection of music of course. Talk about knowing how to read a room!) All of our guests made sure to let us know how great of a time they had at our reception, and it was largely due to our wonderful DJ! You won’t regret hiring Atlanta DJs!

Nick was amazing!

We did not have a wedding coordinator but basically for the reception Nick ran the show. We told him up front what we wanted and he took it from there. He knew exactly when to do everything, when to cut a dance short, when to get everyone on their feet, when to cut the cake, when to play a slow dance and played way longer than the average reception because everyone was having so much fun! Highly recommend him and his company!

Best decision we could’ve made!

We loved Nick! He was quick to communicate, incredibly kind, and so fun! I can only imagine how difficult it is to make a room full of strangers feel comfortable, but he did it with ease. Guests of all ages - from 3 to 85 - were up dancing and laughing the night away. He was very accommodating to all needs and requests and even threw in a couple of “just go with it” moments that had us all rolling with laughter. Nick was easily the best decision we made when it came to our big day.

Ted was the DJ for our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! He always responded to email quickly and made sure he knew what we wanted. The music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing were all perfect and everyone had a fantastic time! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Ted and Nick were both responsive to questions and concerns. Nick was the DJ for our wedding and was very professional, polite, and helpful. This will be the easiest review I have ever written. Ted is hands down the best DJ! He is beyond easy to work with and will give you so many suggestions to help make your event (in my case my wedding) the best it could possibly be. He was engaged with my guests, helped guide the wedding activities (toasts, dances, cake, calling tables for dinner etc.) got everyone dancing, and even allowed my friends to make song requests!
Ted also went out of his way to talk with the guitarist I had play my ceremony, to make sure he had all the tools he needed, and worked with my officiant to ensure he was mic'd up so my guests could hear! I couldn't have had a more diligent, thoughtful, and fun DJ!!
My friends and family are STILL talking about the music, which to me is a HUGE win in my book. If you are looking for a great DJ, do yourself a favor and hire Ted! :-)

Ted was so fantastic - he accommodated all of the songs I wanted to include in our ceremony and reception (and there were a good specific, odd few that I wanted) and he even added a good few himself to keep our guests happy and to keep the party going. Nick was SUCH A GOOD DJ! We had a backyard wedding so it was important for us to have someone who knew what we wanted and could run the show. He and the caterer met that day and coordinated events at the times that I wanted.

Nick came to visit the site beforehand and helped us understand what was needed in terms of power etc. We had a pre-wedding phone call after I emailed him all the details and he answered all my questions. On wedding day, everything went perfectly. He is great about non-intrusively asking about minor things that you may want as the wedding is happening as well.

Everyone was dancing the whole time and he did a great combo of songs that I wanted as well as requests. He even helped start the party by showing guests how to do the group dances while the music was playing. Seriously if you want a DJ who can read the crowd and direct your guests to the appropriate places and jut be overall great to work with you should hire them!

Ted was such a great DJ! I had him edit a song for me and he was incredibly responsive with all of my changes. I gave him a list of requested songs and from there he knew exactly what kind of night we were looking for. The dance floor was packed the entire night. He also provided moving colored dance lights at no charge. We had such a good time dancing and laughing with our friends and family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ted for your wedding! We'd do it again in a heart beat!

Our Wedding Coordinator recommended Nick to us, and he did not disappoint, he lived up to her rave reviews and even more. We love everything about Nick. He was so wonderful to work with. He was knowledgeable and helped to ask us the right questions to make our day exactly what we wanted. He asked for a list of songs from us that we wanted to hear to help him know the tone we wanted and he mixed the music so extremely well. Nick never let the party die down, he did an amazing job keeping everyone involved and interested. We had a few guests send us comments after: My husband's cousins' teenager declared "it was the best wedding ever, not stuffy, but fun" . The Best Man, got married a year before us, and he was wishing he had known Nick for his because he was so impressed with how he did our wedding.

You cannot go wrong with choosing Nick, he will give you the wedding and reception music of your dreams.

Ted was an awesome DJ! He was so great to work with and I will recommend him to everyone I know getting married! Absolutely recommend you book Ted ASAP. He was fantastic! Ted was so easy to work with and pleasant - he really helped make the reception a blast for us and for everyone of our guests. He is a true professional and knows his stuff - we made some music requests, but mostly relied on his expertise for music choices and scheduling things like cake cutting and toasts, and we really chose to let him read the crowd and let us know when would be good. His calls could not have been more perfect. He also played music to keep everyone happy and dancing, and we could not have had more fun. He threw in the perfect balance of a couple cute "activities" revolving around a bouquet toss, just enough to be fun but not cheesy. In addition we wnated to add an extra hour last minute, and he couldn't have been more accommodating.

Nick was AMAZING! It was an absolute pleasure to be able to have him DJ at our wedding. He answered my emails promptly and had no problem with the additional song playlist I created. He made my groom and I feel extremely comfortable and at ease throughout the entire day. He even threw in a few extra touches of his own that had the crowd laughing the entire evening. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and meeting the musical needs of all age groups. If we ever have another event, he will be the first person we request. We hired Ted for our reception after seeing him DJ my brother's wedding and I'm so glad we did! Our April 2016 wedding was at noon and I was worried about whether or not people would dance much at an early reception. Ted managed to get everyone out on the dance floor without being obnoxious about it and everyone had a great time. He sends an extremely comprehensive list of music to choose from and we added in a few extras plus some please-do-not-play songs and he honored all our requests. Just fun and very easy to work with.

Nick was the DJ for our wedding in June and did an absolutely incredible job! The dance floor was full from when it opened to when we left! Everything sound great and just the right volume with no glitches. From the first phone call he set us both at ease, and we never had to worry about anything - and it was just awesome. He has a talent for reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play at what time, and he even threw a few extra bits/routines in there to surprise us that everyone absolutely loved! I highly recommend DJ Ted. We first saw him at a friend's wedding, so we knew he was great. For ours, he met every request we had for reception events and music, plus he knew exactly what to do to keep the guests entertained - he had everyone dancing and knew exactly how to pace the party. He even improvised a few things that made the night memorable and fun. Guests have been telling us nonstop about how much fun they had. He was very professional and definitely knows what he's doing. Give him just a little bit of guidance and he can roll with it and make the event great.

Ted was very easy to work with. The bridal couple lives in Cleveland, Ohio, and we chose a venue here in Atlanta. Not only was he totally professional, but he had us dancing the entire evening. We had about 140 ranging in age from 1 to 98 (with the vast majority being between the ages of 23 and 70). Somehow he managed to please everybody with a wide variety of music. He made it seem effortless, and he could get the attention of the guests when needed (cutting the cake, etc.) without ever hogging the limelight. A great guy and great value. From a very happy mother of the bride!

This was an interesting event because I'm actually in the event industry, however, for this event, I was playing the role of Father of the Bride. And for my daughter, I wanted the best DJ in the Atlanta Metro area. I've seen many DJs over the twenty years that I've been in the events industry and I can honestly say that Ted Crowder of Atlanta DJs is hands-down the best DJ working. His professionalism is unsurpassed, his timing is impeccable and his ability to work a crowd (without coming off as cheesy) is truly a pleasure to watch. Most importantly, EVERYONE, young and old, had a great time. As they say... the dance floor was packed the entire night! Great job Ted! You have the thanks of me and my entire family.

We hired Ted as our DJ for both the wedding ceremony and reception. He accommodated to play the songs we requested throughout the entire evening. I was impressed by both his professionalism and enthusiasm for an amazing event.

Ted exceeded my expectations with the music selections and timing of the songs that were played. He started us off with some good pop dance music for everyone to dance to and also adding in party easy party songs for everyone to participate in. He had a good mix of the songs I've requested. As the evening was coming to a close, he played songs that were clearly geared to my requests (as most of the ladies were too tired from dancing with heels). So all of us guys had a blast at the end of the evening.

I was very impressed with Ted and his experience in DJ. Thank you so much. I highly recommend him to bring the music (party!) to your venue.

Nick Crowder was such a dream to work with! My coordinator referred him to me and I know I could have found anyone better. During our initial meeting he took the time to get to know us as well as go over his services and how he could personalize our day for us. Between the initial meeting and my wedding we communicated through email and he answered every question and took my every request with grace.
On my big day, he orchestrated such smooth transitions that I didn't even need to think about having to move anything along. Nick Crowder with Atlanta DJ's was amazing! It has been more than two months since my daughter's wedding at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta, and we are still receiving rave reviews from our guests in regard to our incredible Dj. We made a wonderful choice by choosing Atlanta DJs! Nick Crowder was our DJ for the night. He did a fantastic job all night keeping the party going and the crowd up and moving. He started by introducing the wedding party as they paraded into the venue, had the parents of the bride give welcomes to the guests, the minister lead a prayer, and then kept the night moving with various activities and a variety of music going. One of the bridesmaids at our daughter's wedding liked Nick so much that she has contracted him for her wedding next summer! It was money well spent. Nick provided the time and service exactly as promised. We were thrilled with our choice and got many compliments on how fun he made the night! We would use him again and highly recommend him to others.

I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Atlanta DJ for any event! You simply can't beat their quality AND price!

Most importantly, the #1 proof of a fantastic DJ: a dance floor that was NEVER empty! Our guests danced until the very end without a single lull.

They provide a thorough contract and detailed day-of breakout along w/ helpful suggestions. There were a couple of inconsistencies w/ the venue coordinator that I should've clarified ahead of time, so I would recommend meeting w/ someone on the team beforehand to ask any specific questions.

But we really have NO complaints! Would hire again and again!! :)

My favorite moment was walking down the aisle... and Nick's timing, volume, fade in and out of the music couldn't have been more perfect. I was so happy! Thank you!!!!

Nick was the DJ at our wedding and he was incredible. From the beginning he made the planning of the day easy by giving several suggestions and ideas for how we could run our reception. With my son and his fiancee out in Texas but having the reception here, it ended up falling to me to find a dj. I saw the multiple reviews of Ted and took a chance. It worked out so well! Ted was so easy to work with and assured me that everything would flow together nicely. He was right. He got everyone on the dance floor and kept them on the dance floor. Ted was our DJ. He was absolutely wonderful and his price was of value! Not only did he keep everyone on the dance floor, he was so good at prompting me for things like the announcements, cake cutting, dances, etc. I had a vision of walking down the aisle to a specific song at a specific instance - the 1:30 mark. After I asked Ted how we could plan this, he suggested that we loop the first half of the song and make a second song starting at the 1:30 mark. He didn't hesitate, just made it happen. We were able to coordinate most things via email, and we was great to work with! I would definitely recommend him!

Ted did an amazing job dj-ing our wedding! I had put a "Request a Song" line on our RSVP's and he made sure to play each song, which made my guest feel special. Nick was a great dj for my wedding at Fernbank. I'm an introvert (read: hate to be the center of attention) and I also had a very specific vibe in mind when it came to my wedding music, so some of my requests were pretty "out there" for a wedding dj. Nick was so very accommodating, which I truly appreciate.

I was selective with the music I wanted to be played so I gave Nick playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner (which I'm sure can be kind of a buzzkill for a professional dj). He played every song I asked of him, many of which are not well known and probably would have required some digging around to get a hold of. I was impressed that he was able to get all of them.

He had a lot of really great ideas for introductions and dancing, but as an introvert, I hated them all. Instead, he agreed to play our first dance song for about 1 minute and 5 seconds, and then fade it out, which was just perfect for me. Also, I have a name that's easy to mispronounce and was pretty sure I'd have to remind him of the correct pronunciation before he did introductions, but he had it memorized perfectly when he showed up on the wedding day.

I left the dance music up to Nick, for the most part. Some of the stuff he played was the opposite of what I would have chosen, but people were dancing (including my husband, our friends, and my parents' friends) so obviously he knows what he's doing. He also really helped the flow of the wedding by making announements for things that needed announcing, without going overboard with dj talk.

Overall, I really appreciate that Nick stayed attuned to my "vision" and personality, while still using his professional expertise to keep people dancing and the wedding in order. He worked hard to make sure that everything was perfect. In hindsight, he was a huge part of what made our wedding day a success. I really couldn't have asked for anything more from a dj.

Nick did an incredible job as our DJ at our wedding last year. I would highly recommend him! I have gotten some of the best compliments from guests about how fabulous he was. He went above and beyond simply playing music. He was able to find every song we requested. He provided seamless music to both our ceremony and reception. He guided the night flawlessly from the I Dos, to the cake cutting, to the last dance. He had the perfect personality to allow guests to have a great time and the amazing discernment to know when everyone was ready to get out on the dance floor. Speaking of which, he even stepped out and taught a few dances to the guests. The dance floor was full and the music was fitting for guests of all ages from the groomsmen to my grandmother…who thought he was just wonderful. I have attended many weddings and planned events as well. You want a DJ who will be able to help your event flow without being the main attraction. Nick was perfect. He is smart, likeable, and has a great understanding of what people will enjoy. We had a wonderful time and so did our guests. I have nothing but great things to say!

Just awesome. Nick was professional, fun, and helped us customize our day. He was great at helping coordinate events at the wedding (he basically is like an event director in addition to being a DJ. He makes it a point to stay involved in all of what's going on throughout the night). I have been to more than a few weddings where the DJ has done a poor job of assessing the crowd's behavior and had zero ability to go with the flow (and really, do things ever happen exactly at the times they should? No!). YOUR DJ WILL MAKE OR BREAK YOUR RECEPTION. A good DJ knows how to do basic crowd control, music choices, announce stuff, etc. Nick does it better. We were thrilled with how well his music selections kept people dancing while catering to all sorts of tastes and music styles. No one genre of song played too long, but he customized the music based on what kept the guests on the dance floor. He was communicative, innovative, and has the talent for engaging the wedding guests...everyone thoroughly enjoyed him. We still hear how great of a time people had. You know it's a fun party when Grandma is getting down to some hip hop on the dance floor! His timing is perfect and he will make your big day unforgettable. For an instant party, just add Nick! Thanks for making our night a blast!!

Nick was our DJ, and we had the best experience with him! He provided the music service for our outdoor ceremony- Nick went over every detail with us to make sure our ceremony was exactly the way we had envisioned it. He was willing to meet with us about a month before the wedding to go over everything a second time- which really calmed my nerves.

The reception was perfect! Nick isn't just a DJ- he made sure our drinks were always full, he communicated with the venue staff to keep things moving at the right pace- but he did it all in a way so that he wasn't intrusive. I'm picky about music- there are A LOT of songs typically played at weddings that I kind of hate- but Nick too my song request list and based his other choices off of that beautifully- and the whole crowd had fun. I have never once seen my parents dance- and even they got out there. As the reception was coming to an end, of course we wanted to stay longer- and Nick ran around coordinating with the venue to make sure we could squeeze in a few more songs. Nick was the DJ for our wedding. I first met him at the Atlanta Bridal Show last August. Before talking with him, I did not even want a DJ for our wedding. I thought an Ipod with a simple speaker would be plenty. However, after talking with Nick for about 15 minutes, I realized how valuable a DJ is to the wedding and how affordable this company was. He coordinated everything (music wise for the ceremony and reception). I didn't have to worry about a single thing. All I had to do was give him the songs I wanted to be played. Even during the reception, his time management was perfection. He would keep track of the time for me so that I didn't have to worry about when to cut the cake, toss the flowers, etc. One reason I believe this company stands out from the rest is because I do not remember a single time the dance floor was empty. I have been to weddings where no one has danced, and people are just sitting/standing around..awkwardly. I believe that it is the DJ's job to keep the energy going throughout the night. Nick did a wonderful job keeping the excitement going all night until my husband and I left. I would highly recommend this company.

Ted was the DJ for my wedding ( Kym and Angie) @ Park Tavern - Piedmont room. When we first meet Ted , we were not sure if he would fit for our wedding. We are same sex couple.However Ted proved us wrong, his experience as a DJ and professionlism showed he can work with anyone. He was very helpful during the process and made working with him very easy. I must say Ted played a huge part in our wedding and made it a huge success. Our guest had a great time! Ted is an amazing and experienced DJ! His crowd interaction skills are exceptional, and he went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. I highly recommend Ted at Atlanta DJs to all the brides (and grooms as my hubby found our DJ)!

Nick was an awesome DJ! He took the time to call me and talk to me about what I was looking for in the music that he was going to play. He made helpful suggestions, not only about music but also about other wedding details that I hadn't even thought about. He told me up front his ideas but ultimately left the final decisions up to me. It was important to me that people had fun dancing at the wedding and he certainly made sure that happened. He really knows how to read a crowd and decide what songs to play to get them moving. It was obvious that he has lots of experience being a DJ. He was involved and taught the crowd some dances but he wasn't over the top. He was there for us all night and took care of us regardless if it was actually part of his job. He went over and beyond to make sure the night ran smoothly. It took so much stress off of me! He also was nice enough to take song suggestions very last minute (like the day of the wedding!) and made sure he had them and he played the songs I requested. I was very pleased and suggest to any bride looking for a DJ in GA to talk to Atlanta Bands and DJ's!

Ted had the kids hoppin' around all night, the 20-somethings entertained with contemporary hits and the parents happy with plenty of classics. He steered clear of the cheesy gimics/songs you see at tons of weddings but brought some very entertaining ideas that our family and friends raved about.

Ted greeted us at the door, directed traffic in the parking lot, played tasteful music during dinner, found a great time for the toast, directed the buffet line, led us into the cake cutting/first dance and kept the dancing going for the perfect amount of time. Even if you come into your wedding day with high expectations for the DJ, be prepared to be blown away thanks to Ted. A professional in every sense of the word.

Atlanta Bands and DJ's was easily the best bang-for-your-buck company I came across during the search process. Tough to argue with their level of experience combined with the price. Simply fantastic.

Exceptional job. We hired Nick Crowder to be the DJ at our September wedding… We thought we were getting a DJ, but we received a whole lot more than that. For starters, we were able to meet with Nick prior to the wedding to discuss some of the major details of the wedding. Since Nick is so experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to weddings, he was able to give us a lot of important information that we had never even thought about during our wedding planning. We really enjoyed the variety of music that he played at the reception. A lot of people at our wedding were Spanish and Nick had that genre of music covered. His great salsa, meringue and even Zumba selections really got people dancing. He played all the right songs for our non-Spanish crowd too! Nick is very experienced at reading the audience because he kept everyone dancing for several hours and made the party extremely lively. All of our friends that told us that they had more fun at our wedding than any other one they have attended in the past. We have Nick to thank for that. Lastly and most importantly, he gave us an EXCEPTIONAL service for a great price.

PHENOMENAL service! DJ's just play music. These guys are over the top with their service. Very professional, very knowledgeable, courteous and responsive to the customer's needs. We booked Nick Crowder because he was the DJ for my sister-in-law's wedding and he was excellent! Our wedding was 4 hours away from Atlanta and Nick showed up the day before to prepare for our wedding. He provided us with sound equipment and music for our outdoor wedding and entertainment for the reception. I work at a Marriott Hotel with DJ's on a regular basis. Nick's experience and skill in reading his audience far exceeds any DJ I have ever worked with. Everyone knows weddings can be stressful and fast paced. Nick brought order, peace of mind, and good memories to our special day. Your search is over - this is the DJ you're looking for.

Ted made a trek to the beach to not only DJ my wedding and reception but the karaoke party the night before. If you want to hear a song, he has it! He is very engaging with the guests and keeps everything moving along. I would HIGHLY recommend Atlanta Bands and DJ's to anyone that needs music for an event.

Nick from Atlanta Bands and DJs was our DJ for our May 27th wedding. He was so nice, very easy to work with, and, most importantly, great at his job. He kept the night running smoothly from event to event (dances, toasts, bouquet and garter tosses, etc.) and kept the dance floor packed the entire night (even when the majority of the guests had left at the end of the night). I had so many guests tell us what a wonderful DJ we had. I also had many people tell us that our wedding was the most fun wedding they've ever been to, and I believe that's due in large part to our DJ. Not only have I been the bride at a wedding he was the DJ at, but I've also been a guest at a wedding he was the DJ at about 4 years ago, and, to this day, it was the most enjoyable wedding I've ever been a guest at. My boyfriend (now husband) had to pull me onto the dance floor, but at the end of the night, he couldn't pull me off! Overall, I highly recommend Nick and Atlanta Bands and DJs!

If you are looking for a DJ, you should stop now and use Atlanta Bands and DJs, they are the best of the best. Nick Crowder was our DJ at our wedding, he was the AWESOME! I would recommend using him to any of my friends or family. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night, and even kept the party going past the time we were scheduled for. Nick went above and beyond our expectations. We have had many friends talk about how great our DJ was at our wedding. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and I hope that anyone looking for a DJ uses Atlanta Bands and DJs services!

At our daughter's wedding this past weekend (7/2/11), we received dependable service as well as flexibility and ease of doing business. Ted kept the party lively, appealed to all age levels, and added some unique and memorable touches. Most importantly, he arranged our selection of music for the ceremony itself and executed it flawlessly. He moved from a solemn occasion to a joyous occasion to a fantastically fun occasion, all through his music. Best of all, he gave us wonderful service for a good price. Many of our guests have emailed to say that he was the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding, and we have to agree. We highly recommend him!

Atlanta Bands and DJ's provided DJ services for my June wedding, and Nick was our DJ. I cannot tell you how happy we were with the entire process. Planning was extremely simple as both Nick and Ted were very responsive. Nick knew exactly what we wanted in terms of music and entertainment. He did an absolutely amazing job, not once was anything inappropriate or out of order. Nick kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire evening (excpet, of course, at dinnertime!). He was extremely professional and never missed a beat. My husband and I could have not have asked for a better DJ, nor would we change a single thing. I would certainly recommend Atlanta Bands and DJ's to anyone.

Nick was the dj and mc for my wedding 3 weeks ago and I was so thrilled with the job he did. Any requests I made were quickly executed and he was a joy to work with. He kept the reception flowing and knew exactly what music to play to keep the crowd dancing. He appealed to all the age groups and made it an overall wonderful night. He made me feel completely assured that everything was taken care of, and he certainly surpassed my expectations. I would definitely recommend Atlanta Bands and DJ's to anyone looking for a reasonable price, excellent service, great music, and ultimately an outstanding event. They do an awesome job!

Future brides, look no further. Ted Crowder was the DJ for our wedding and I can't tell you how impressed I was with his efforts to give us exactly what we wanted as far as song selection and entertainment. I had some very specific song requests and Ted spent hours finding the exact songs I was seeking. He played all the songs I requested (around 40) and filled in the extra time with similar songs. He was friendly, courteous, very entertaining, and kept the party going even past the stopping time (thanks, Ted). Even though it was pouring down rain before (and during) the wedding, he was there on time, and had all his equipment set up and ready to go before the wedding. Several guests came up to me and commented what a great DJ he was. I can't say enough great things about him! He created a very special night for us.

Ted was the DJ at our wedding this past Friday, June 24th 2011. I cant say enough good things about his performance at the wedding or leading up to the wedding. My bride to be had several song requests that were not very common and Ted was very quick to respond to our emails and found the songs quickly on a short notice. His equipment was topnotch and his song choices were excellent. Again, it could NOT have been any better. We searched and were just a bit afraid since one only has recommendations to go by until the big day. I would also add that Ted did a excellent job with involving the wedding crowd and keeping the night entertaining. A++++++++++++++

Ted was amazing!!! As a West Indian couple, we required some eclectic music selection. Ted delivered that and then some. Everyone had an amazing time. Also as an MC he had great comedic timing and that was also truly appreciated.
We cannot say enough good things Ted! We had a great party and we have Ted to thank for it! Thank you...

I would HIGHLY recommend Atlanta Bands & DJ's for your event! Nick and Ted Crowder are awesome and incredibly easy to work with. Not only are they extremely responsive, they are flexible, honest and just plain fun! Nick ended up being our DJ and he did a fantastic job! He played the right music to get the crowd on the floor, but didn't talk excessively.. and definitely helped the reception flow flawlessly. Great job, guys!
