Five stars doesn’t do David & his team any justice. He was the photographer for my wedding day and I couldn’t be more happy with the day and the pictures! He was attentive leading up to the wedding and just as present and patient throughout the day. He was very professional and the pictures he captured were phenomenal. The final edited photos are great! My guests raved about him and they are raving about the pictures! I’m a very happy bride! Run, don’t walk!

Best possible photographer
David and his second photographer were the perfect choice for our wedding. First and foremost, they were excellent at making everybody in the party feel comfortable, natural, relaxed, and having fun. Brian and I can't say enough good things about David and the beautiful photos he took of our wedding!! We hired David as a referral from our friend who also used him for her wedding and we couldn't be happier. David is not only reasonably priced but was nothing less than a true professional. He was willing to work with our every request and made the whole experience a blast for our wedding party, our families, our guests, and us. He was perfectly assertive and gave great direction to make sure we captured everything we wanted. Out of all our vendors, David was always the fastest to respond to our questions leading up to and including the big day. He gave us the link to see all our photos in just a few short days which made for a great surprise while we were on our honeymoon. As soon as we got home, all our photos had already arrived on a really cool wooden USB (with a branded protective case). AND he surprised us with 2 of the best photos in beautiful matching frames. Very nice unexpected touch!! We could really tell David loves what he does and it shows in the final product. Our forever photos turned out absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations! We have already recommended David and Atlanta Artistic Wedding Photography to several friends and acquaintances and will keep doing so!! David is a truly talented man. He captured all of the important moments if our wedding and came to us with finished (and beautiful) photos much sooner than we would have ever expected. The photos were so beautiful that we didn't even care that we had to downsize everything due to COVID.
While he was at the wedding with us, he was extremely kind, funny, professional, helpful, and just all around a great person to interact with. We could not have hoped for a better photographer and we are so glad that we chose him. Nothing I say could give David enough credit or praise. David is beyond amazing to work with! He was recommended to us by our wedding venue and we couldn't have made a better decision. He was so flexible with scheduling and always made sure we were happy. He made the photography experience so easy in helping to guide us in the best poses and spots to take photos at, which made the process less stressful since we didn't have to think about what photos we needed and where/how we should take them. Him and his team were so easy-going and provided our wedding photos back in around 8 days, which is unheard of! You can really tell he has a passion for what he does and it shows in his work, he knows how to get the perfect lighting and angles to make each picture absolutely stunning. I cannot stop looking at my wedding photos!
David Diener is absolutely amazing! He is the lighting professional - seriously all of our photos are glowing! Great pictures and fast work!
First of all we got our pictures back when we got back from our honeymoon, and we had a short honeymoon! David was also quick to respond to email throughout the process. Our pictures are so beautiful! David and his team were great about accommodating you and capturing anything you wanted. Part of our wedding photo package was to get a wedding album created. David said he could put it together or I could pick about 50 pictures to use. When I started narrowing it down it was so hard because there were so many good pictures! I was only able to narrow it down to 120! So I asked David to complete the album for me instead and he did an amazing job. Would recommend!!

Fantastic from start to finish!
David and his second shooter, Sara, are wonderful and skilled photographers! David is incredibly personable, flexible, and easy to work with, we had a good feeling about him right away at the initial meeting. We are so so happy we went with him because our experience was consistently fantastic from start to finish. He is trustworthy, transparent, lighthearted, and genuine. It is obvious that he really enjoys what he does and that he is very experienced when it comes to weddings- he blended right in throughout our wedding day, is very efficient, gracefully handled a huge wedding party like it was nothing, and everyone (even the small, difficult kids) was comfortable with him! Our wedding photos turned out to be everything we wanted and more! It worked out well to have Sara, who also has a wonderful presence, taking photos of the girls getting ready while David was with the guys at a separate location. Oh and one the best parts- very fast turn around with photos! We got them just over a week after our wedding!! Can’t say enough great things about David and Atlanta Artistic Photography!

David and his staff were excellent. From the moment we had our first conversation a year before our big day, through following up after the wedding day, David always made the day about US. I can't say enough wonderful things about David, with his laid back personality and his artistic eye he gave my husband and I photos that we will forever cherish. David was quick to respond, easy to communicate with and made every photoshoot enjoyable. We took our two big dogs to our engagement shoot, he was super patient with them and even brought them treats. The day of our wedding after the posed photos I didn't notice him floating around the ceremony space capturing moments I wouldn't have seen had he not been there, he truly captured the night. After the wedding David was sweet enough to do a photoshoot of just me in my dress with my mom, again pictures that were breath taking and pictures I will cherish. I can't say enough good things about David so if you are looking for a laid back photographer with pictures out side of the box he's your man :)

When I was looking for a photographer for my wedding, I immediately was drawn to David's style when I saw his website. I reached out to him and let him know that I was planning my wedding in 8 weeks time, from England and he didn't hesitate to call me on my long distance number to discuss everything. That was it. I knew after that conversation that he was the one for us. Then I decided to do a boudoir shoot with his assistant Sarah who was so easy to work with. She made me feel super comfortable from the beginning of our discussions about it and was really excited. We did the shoot the day before my wedding. The pictures were amazing and I was able to surprise my hubby-to-be with a couple of prints on our wedding day because Sarah was so quick at turning them around...edited! David took extra time to come shoot our rehearsal as well and I'm so glad because some of my favourite shots are from that time. We were much more relaxed! On the day, they were amazingly calm and patient as everything, including our timeline for taking pictures ahead of the wedding, crumbled! It rained, everything was behind schedule and no-one was ready for pictures and they just went with the flow. Which is exactly what I needed out of them since that was my mentality. No pushing, no "we must go do this", it was just relaxed. Have I mentioned that the pictures turned out amazing! They were exactly what we wanted...relaxed and candid. Oh, and I received all the pictures a little over a week after the wedding! That is unheard of with most photographer's. Hire Atlanta Artistic Weddings, you won't be disappointed.

David was a fantastic choice for our wedding photographer.
From a practical standpoint: David was extremely punctual, both in person and via email. He was organized and thorough and the turn around time for getting the photos back to us was amazing. He was very easy to work with on the day of, getting the photos in a timely fashion, which I very much appreciated.
From a photography standpoint: I'm not a photography expert by any means, but both myself and my husband, as well as our friends and family, love the photos. There is a great mix of candid and staged, and he captured all of the right moments. Additionally, I noticed that he is very particular about lighting, which I appreciated, and this is evident in the quality of the photos that he produces.
From a personal standpoint: David was professional, courteous, and kind. He went out of his way to make our sessions seamless and fun. He is extremely easy to work with, and accommodating.
All in all, we loved working with David, and would absolutely hire him again.

We couldn't be happier with David, and Atlanta Artistic Weddings. From our initial meeting through our engagement photo session to the wedding itself, I could always rely on David to respond immediately and thoughtfully. David doesn't limit you to a certain number of hours, so we didn't feel the need to rush through our photos. He has such a calming demeanor, and will be the first to remind you that this is your day, and made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy ourselves, which shows in the photographs. Looking through the photos, I don't know how he and his 2nd photographer, Tara, captured every moment...laughter, tears, dancing, singing...we now have absolutely gorgeous photographs that we will treasure forever.

David was an awesome photographer! I have a loud and opinionated family and David knew just how to handle them while being professional. David was very flexible with our schedule and timing. David and I tossed around ideas about the outdoor photographs to be taken, but day of the event the weather did not cooperate. David had a few ideas up his sleeve and came to our rescue with better ideas the day of the event. I had ideas, but never knew how to make them come alive or how they would be captured, but he did just that. He went above and beyond to capture from intimate moments to the candid moments, and everything in between. The final edited photographs were available less than a month of the event.

Love the photos that we have commemorating our wedding. In the aftermath, the day of just flew by however David and his team were awesome we had a great time from the before photos to the send off. We were having problems finding a photographer and videographer service for our wedding within our price range, so we were thrilled when we found Atlanta Artistic Weddings during an extensive Google search. After speaking with David about his packages, we chose Package 2 and could not have been any more satisfied. The package included an engagement photo shoot, two photographers and two videographers on wedding day (from start to finish...none of that 6 or 8 hours only crap), several framed pictures, USB drives with all images, and a beautiful photo album.
David and his team were extremely professional and coming from someone who has never enjoyed getting their picture taken, they did a great job capturing images in a natural setting as opposed to forced and awkward shots. We are so pleased with how everything turned out and can't wait to use them again for future events!
David is absolutely amazing at what he does and his team was outstanding. We couldn't have picked a better vendor, and can't wait to use him again for other events in the future.

David is exactly everything that he promises. He supported me (the bride) from A to Z! I really can't sing his praises enough.
Pre-wedding he got some really amazing shots of the little things that I worked so hard on (it was a DIY wedding). I didn't have to instruct him on what to do or where to go; he's got 15+ years experience, he already knows!
During the wedding he took some fantastic shots without being obtrusive. Post wedding we got some awesome family pics, both serious and funny. Then at the reception any time I needed him, he was right there!
You can't go wrong by picking David. He was so great working within my budget, supporting me throughout the event and then turnaround time on getting photos back to me after the wedding was, quite frankly, unheard of fast! I'll definitely be calling on him again for future photo needs!

David took both our engagement photos as well as wedding day and I have zero regrets about choosing to work with him. In fact, I've had numerous inquiries from folks about who our photographer was - our guests ("we barely even noticed he was around yet he captured so many great pics!"), other vendors ("found him so easy to work alongside him") and those who weren't at the wedding but are blown away by the pictures.
From a practical standpoint, David was responsive right from the beginning, showed up on time for things and stayed until the job was done (never felt rushed or pressured to look at a clock), and always came prepared with everything he needed. So I would definitely consider him to be organized and professional from that standpoint. Likewise, his speed in getting photos back was OUTSTANDING.
Most importantly, though, I feel like David had a way of capturing the right "stuff". You know those moments that bring a memory to life? Like the smile on someone's face or an exchanged glance that you had no idea someone was tuned into. I think of event photos, especially weddings, in three broad categories that I like to see; 1) the mid-range photos that most of us are accustomed to seeing and taking, 2) the details shots that allow you to zoom in on what makes something unique and 3) the larger zoomed-out wide angle shots that give the context for where the event is happening. David got a great mix of the three so not only are my wedding photos interesting, they really tell our story.
Don't hesitate to hire David. He's a great photographer and a great guy,, and the value for his services cannot be beat. I recommend him without reservation. Thank you David!

Originally when planning our wedding, my husband & I had a strict budget but knew the one thing we wanted to splurge on was the photographer. I knew the minute I saw on his website that David was the first one there & the last one to leave, he was the one I wanted. I cannot say enough amazing things about him! He and his partner for the day, Sara were absolutely amazing & are two of the most patient & understanding people after half the Bridal party was late & everything was behind schedule. My favorite thing about David was that he kept reminding me that it was my wedding. I really do feel like he went out of his way to make sure my husband and I knew that this was our day & everything was up to us. I was a little concerned after the reception that he didn't get enough shots of everything/everyone because I didn't remember seeing him anywhere but after getting our pictures back I realized that he somehow managed to be EVERYWHERE all at once! I have gotten so many compliments on our pictures & would pick David a thousand times again over anyone else, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I can't say enough good things about Dave and the job he did with our wedding photography. We came to him very stressed out and without much of a plan for our pictures. Dave was very supportive throughout the entire process and helped us improvise last minute on many aspects of our pictures. They came out great. He went above and beyond what he should have had to do to make our day as minimally stressful as possible: arriving early, staying late, scouting out good "first look" locations mere hours before the ceremony, corralling our families as our good daylight was quickly fading. Not to mention, the man is extremely talented and a joy to work with. He made us both extremely comfortable and had us laughing and relaxed throughout.

David did an incredible job. I can tell you that if you know nothing about photography and still want stellar wedding photos, he is the way to go!!! Everything was taken care of and I didn't worry about a thing. He was there before I got there and there after I left. For our engagement photos, he met us at the location at 7 in the morning, took photos, and then WAITED there while we went home and changed clothes!!!! He was waiting for us when we got back in new outfits and with our dog. 5 stars all the way around!!

I can't say enough good things about David. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls. My (now) husband and I don't like having our picture taken, so we knew the engagement session would be hard. But David was joking throughout it and by the end we were so relaxed with him that it wasn't difficult. On the day of the wedding, he showed up right on time as I asked and suggested shots that I hadn't thought of. I had given him a shot list about a week ahead of time, and he kept pulling out the list to make sure he got everything I wanted. All my friends and family were impressed with his professionalism. I've already recommended him to friends!

David was the first vendor we hired for our April 2016 wedding and working with him was such a wonderful experience. From our initial meeting to engagement photos and onto the big day, he helped us feel relaxed, caught every moment, brought out true smiles, and the photos came out amazing. When he says he's the first to arrive and last to leave, he's not joking! He even popped his head in as I was getting my hair done next door early that morning! We especially liked that he has a love for historic preservation and therefore really appreciated and captured our historic venue perfectly. We had a small-ish daytime wedding and he was our only photographer. When we got the pictures on a beautiful wooden thumb drive, we realized David had somehow managed to be everywhere at once. Fantastic experience!

The 5-star rating in any of the categories above is no exaggeration. My wife and I loved working with David and Atlanta Artistic Wedding Photographers and recommend highly - OUTSTANDING! We had no idea who we would use and found them through a Google search and looked no further. They were incredible and kind from the initial meeting, to the walkthrough, to the big day. They stayed with us every minute through the end of the reception. We were looking for innovative, creative shots and that's absolutely what we got! If David or his assistant thought of a shot we hadn't done yet, they would find us to see if wanted to do it. Our reception was at the Delta Flight Museum and they found amazing ways to capture our aviation theme beautifully! A pleasure to work with and our memories were captured perfectly. The venue loves the pictures so much they would like to use them as well for presentations!

David did a fantastic job at our wedding. We recently got married Oct 1 and David beat us to the church. He was organized, proficient, and kept the wedding party in order so we could get all the pics taken in a timely fashion. The pics turned out great and we couldn't be happier. The bride was very comfortable around him and his assistant. A coworker highly recommended him to me and I will highly recommend him as well.

David and Adelaide were FANTASTIC !! David did our engagement pictures as well. He came to Centennial Park and took the best pictures of us with the fountains and the ferris wheel where my fiancee gave me my ring. He arrived early at our venue,Cator-Woolford gardens, and he and Adelaide were so good with everyone in the wedding party as well as all the guest pics during the reception and ceremony etc. Never ever intrusive but wonderful ideas for pics. He was there till the very end and we couldn't be more pleased. David is also amazingly reasonable in his pricing. You will be very very pleased with David's service.

David did an amazing job! My wife and I could not be happier with his service. He was so helpful in pre-planning as well as being attentive and taking lots of initiative on our wedding day. He was there several hours before the ceremony/reception and did not leave or take a break until the reception was concluded. His location suggestions for our couples pictures were terrific and he even drove us to and form our couples pictures locations prior to the ceremony. David is a great guy and very professional. David is the best photographer I could ever ask for!!! Not only that he did a great job in shooting our wedding photos, he also knew how to ease the nerve on the wedding day and made the bridal party posted for the most beautiful nature pictures. He even teach us how to cut the wedding cake!!!!!!! You can't find any photographer that is better than David.
The quality of his pictures are top notch. He catched all the precious moments in the wedding. David is very easy to work with. He used his little tricks that make us posted for the best photos.

David is amazing! You will not go wrong in choosing him as your photographer. David communicated with us in a timely fashion and answered all of our questions and concerns. He helped us find the perfect outdoor location for our photos and rearranged his schedule to make sure they turned out just as we'd hoped (because our original scheduled time would have been a complete rain out!).
We had not met David in person until the scheduled time for our pictures. We liked him right away. Very down to earth and easy to talk to. We knew right away that David was very skilled at his job and has a passion for it. We were able to immediately relax and enjoy our photo session because we knew he was making sure all the other details were under control. From moving us through crowds of people to put us in a picture perfect spot to letting others know we were just married, he definitely made it feel like it was our day.
We had a great preview of our images online and within a day or two we had the disc of all images delivered to us. We are so happy with the finished images and so glad we had memories from our elopement to share with family and friends.

I worked with David Deiner for my wedding and I do not regret it one bit! He was the best photographer I could have ever asked for! He didn't charge a traveling fee since my husband is military. He even paid for our parking for engagement photos and gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy! He worked well with all of my bridesmaids and family members at the wedding. He did not stop taking pictures for any of the 12 hours I had him! He was professional with his attire at the wedding and was always quick to respond to my emails. His pictures came out beautifully and I got commented by EVERYONE on how well they turned out. He made my day special day even better!

My thoughts are exactly like everyone else... DAVID is fantastic and deserves all "10s."
From the moment we met him he was professional but fun, easygoing but 100% reliable. The only regret I have is that we didn't find him earlier enough to take our engagement photos. My family & friends still rave about him & the pictures he took. He got a great shot of everyone ... including my pup! The pictures he took speak for themselves... he is very talented ... awesome angles, all different venues and shots. I LOVE all of them!
Do yourself a favor and work with David ... you will not regret it & you'll have spectacular memories captured! I would recommend David to anyone.

I cannot say enough praises for David! He was an absolute joy to work with and went above and beyond for my wedding. I am so happy we chose to work with a what I would consider an advanced professional as opposed to the cheapest around although he does have a package for every budget.
He accommodated our special requests and made the day effortless and easy.

We feel so lucky we found Atlanta Artistic Weddings and that we were able to have David as our wedding photographer. From the start, David was very prompt in his responses, upfront about everything and there are no hidden costs with his work. The website was very accurate and he delivers what you agree to. We received pictures very quickly after the wedding, and we were blown away by them. My husband hates having his pictures taken and never smiles on pictures but David managed to capture great shots of him…smiling!!! I will forever treasure those and proudly show them off. David listened to what was important to us, he was very approachable and was there for us from start to finish. He arrived early, and was probably one of the last people to leave. He took great shots of the wedding party, family and our venue. His amazing work speaks for itself but what you will find in David is great personality, he is attentive, caring, considerate and he is really there for you and the groom. We felt very comfortable having him at the wedding, he did not seem to get in a way (at times we didn't even notice him but that's also when he got some of the best shots). No matter how much you plan, so many things can go wrong on your wedding day, weather, food...but when you hire Atlanta Artistic Weddings, at least you know you are in good hands and you will have beautiful pictures to treasure forever. We would recommend Atlanta Artistic Wedding to our family and friends and would work with David again in a heartbeat. Very happy with his work!

David was wonderful and I would recommend him strongly for any couple who wants beautiful photos of a very special occasion. He has a way of evoking and capturing emotions in his photos, and the pictures come out so magnificent that you can't stop looking at them. My husband and I decided at the last minute (i.e., the day of our court marriage) to obtain the services of a professional photographer; not only was David willing to reschedule his day activities to photograph us, but he also suggested where we should take the photographs, and was so energized by the spontaneity of it all. We were so pleased with the service of our photographer David. His years of experience shows! My guest described him as a photography ninja, because every time someone whispered "we need a photo of that" out of nowhere he was there pointing his camera where needed. He was non obtrusive and the images he captured were beyond expectation. If your looking for one less thing to stress about during your big day we highly recommend his services.

I am a wedding planner and my client hired David Diener for their wedding on Oct 5, 2013. I initially found David because I liked his portfolio and responsiveness to my inquiry. Upon meeting up with David in person, my client made the decision to hire him because of David's experience and professionalism. David's pricing was also very reasonable and it included an assistant photographer.
On the wedding day, we had to moved the reception indoor due to the unusually high temperature and David was super flexible. When I needed him to cut short his lunch so that the couple can finish taking photos with their guests at the tables before the guests can move indoor, he immediately jumped off his chairs to come downstairs to take the photos for us.
David has been a joy for me to work with throughout the planning process and the photos he took were also really artistic and I will gladly refer other clients to use his service in the future!

DAVID WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is the best decision we made on the whole entire wedding! He does anything and everything he can for you. He showed up in the morning when the girls were getting ready and was the last one to leave, he documented the entire night for us. He was super flexible with our schedule and did whatever he could to make us happy. And his prices will match any budget, we didn't have much left in our budget and couldn't find anyone in the area to work with us, but David was the perfect fit for us :)

David saved my wedding! Not to sound too dramatic, here's what happened: My wedding was a noon wedding, and this meant that if we wanted to get photos done before the ceremony the wedding party would need to start getting ready at 7am. It may seem a little early, but the girls needed hair and makeup. Well, my makeup/hair lady was supposed to show up at 7am with a few workers to make sure we could get the entire bridal party ready. Instead...she calls at 7:15 yelling at me because she's lost. When she finally does show up she's about 90 minutes late AND she has no helpers with her! Uh-oh! But before I could freak out completely, David was there. He had showed up on time expecting us to be partially ready so he could take some pics of the girls prepping for the wedding. He brought his assistant, he brought us breakfast, and he brought us mimosas! All morning long he was running back and forth between the boys and girls. And since the girls were so far behind he went ahead and took a bunch of photos of the boys. I was expecting to get a bunch of prepping photos at the hotel suite and then walk to the church and get dressed to take some more photos of the wedding party, but we were sooo far behind this wasn't going to happen. So David ran over to the church to retrieve my dress for me! Amazing!!! Well, in the end...the photo shoot schedule time was all messed up, but he still saved the day by taking pictures when and where he could. He also made me feel very calm and relaxed, and he kept reminding me to stay calm and trust that things would work out. And they did! The entire morning David was constantly checking with me to make sure I was okay. He was calm and professional and he made me feel very special and beautiful. He's simply the best, and I whole-heartedly recommend him to everyone! Thanks David!

I wish I could rate all 10's instead of 5's! If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Atlanta Artistic Wedding! David was absolutely wonderful!! I was becoming frustrated looking for photographers for my wedding and was immediately impressed by David and how quickly he contacted me after I filled out the contact form on his website. My fiance and I met with him before booking him and were thrilled with his professionalism and quality of work. On our actual wedding day- he is 100% correct in that he is the first one in and first one out! He even showed up at our venue before I was there! His 20+ years of experience really shines as far as pictures he captured and family pictures, "herding cats" as he referred to it, lol! All the "candid" pictures, or pictures of dancing etc. turned out great too; we've received many compliments on the pictures. So don't look any further, call David, you'll be very happy you did!!!

We could not have asked for a better photographer!! David really is amazing - he kept us laughing all night. The major compliment I get on our wedding photos is that everyone is smiling in every picture. He made the day run so smoothly and was very accommodating. Thank you David for doing an excellent job!!

What can I say?! David was fabulous! He was always very professional and always responded quickly to any questions. His work is impeccable. I would love to work with him again. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable even though we chose not to have an engagement photos. Our wedding party loved him too! The photo album looks fab as well. I would recommend David to everyone!
