Thank you to Astray Videography for capturing our wedding day on June 30th, 2024. We initially met Brittney over the phone and she was extremely kind and I could hear the passion in her voice throughout our conversation. She asked questions I didn't think of and truly made us feel involved from day one. Her and her husband, Andy, are very knowledgeable and highly experienced. Andy and his video team were extremely professional, creative, and kind to each of our bridal parties, family, friends, and guests on our big day. We never felt rushed. The energy they brought was exactly what we were looking for! Hearing from our guests "how amazing" they thought our video team was made us feel so good! We feel lucky to have had a very talented and down-to-earth team that we could laugh with and rely on at every moment throughout our day.
We unfortunately could not afford to book their photography package in addition to video, so we did have a separate photographer. When booking with Astray, we spoke of this and Brittney did advise us, very respectfully, to consider booking their team as it would be smoother. SO, a tip for you, if you are considering booking both... DO IT; BOOK BOTH ASTRAY VIDEO AND ASTRAY PHOTO. I would also love to give Astray a shout-out as they were extremely professional and patient with our photographer who they did not have any previous experience working with. It made us, the Bride and Groom, feel at ease knowing we could count on Astray to help lead, navigate, and communicate important moments between the photo and video teams. They were always relaxed and very respectful.
Even though we live in Arizona, we will absolutely use Astray again in the future! Traveling to have photos taken by them will be worth it. We highly recommend their team to anyone who asks and are proud of the wedding video they put together for us. It is a gift that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Something that we get to show our future children, grandchildren, and generations to come. It has also been so fun to see our wedding moments as "reels" on their social media. This is such a unique way for everyone to relive it! (especially those who weren't even at the wedding)

I had the pleasure of working with Brittney from Astray at Venue 808 in August 2025, and it was an overall fantastic experience! She was communicative, friendly, and easygoing, making collaboration a breeze. Within just a week, she provided sneak peeks not only to the couple but also to all the vendors - something that can sometimes feel like pulling teeth with other photographers!
Brittney made the entire process simple, and her work truly speaks for itself. Her photos are beautiful, creative, and clean, while genuinely capturing the emotion of the day. I will definitely be recommending Astray to couples in the future! -

Simply the Best
You can't convince me that anyone is better at this than Brittney. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease like we were in the best, most capable hands. She’s calm, confident, insanely talented, and somehow everywhere at once without ever being intrusive.
I’ve never been someone who thought I’d look like one of those brides you see in wedding magazines or Pinterest photos but Brittney worked her magic, and somehow, I did. She captured us in a way that felt so true and beautiful, without ever making it feel forced or overly posed.
She even brought a speaker and played music during our portraits, which instantly helped us relax, laugh, and actually enjoy having our pictures taken. It felt like hanging out with a (very cool, very skilled) friend who just happened to be capturing the most important moments of our lives.
Our photos are truly unreal. They're emotional, artistic, and full of life. She got every meaningful moment, every little glance and detail, and a bunch of things we didn’t even realize were happening.

We were looking for a fun photographer to capture our "Harry Styles meets Coachella" wedding, and Brittany and Andy did not disappoint. From the jump they were incredibly professional and organized and that continued through our wedding day. Both my husband and I had been married before and knew we wanted fun photos from our day that captured our personalities and our friends and family, and thats exactly what we got from Astray. I am so glad I added video on too, I went back and forth on it, but I am so so happy with the results and know our little girls will love to rewatch their mom and dad get married. -

My husband and I live in NYC and decided to have a destination wedding in San Diego. We were so happy to have found Astray on TikTok and glad to have worked with Andy as our wedding videographer! He is incredibly talented, so fun to work with, and we loved the way he captured our wedding day! Brittney and Andy were both very accommodating to our wants for the video and we were surprised at how quickly our wedding video came. There are many stressful parts to wedding planning, but working with Brittney & her team at Astray was not one of them- in fact, it was the exact opposite! The team at Astray is incredible; professional, thoughtful, and insanely talented. Though they film weddings for a living and capture love stories every day, their energy and excitement for our big day made us feel so special. My request to them while filming was to capture the genuine emotion of our day, and that I wanted to almost forget that they were there so I could be fully present on my wedding day. They exceeded every expectation that I had, and Guillermo was an absolute pleasure to work with.
I received our video very quickly, and it blew my mind. I have watched it probably 1000 times already, and it perfectly captured our day. I am so beyond grateful that the Astray team created some thing that my husband and I can look back on for years to come and remember the best day of our lives. Book them immediately, you will not regret it!

Astray Photography & Videography is AMAZING! My husband and I initially found them online when we lived in San Diego to do our engagement photos. When it came time to decide on our wedding photography and cinema, we knew right away that we wanted to continue working with them. Brittney and Andy are fun, easy to work with, and know how to make you look good and feel comfortable in front of the camera! They are both very personable and overall a very chill couple. All of the pictures and videos we've received are so special and really captured our wedding perfectly, especially all of the little details that went by so fast for us the day of. They were willing to travel to San Luis Obispo from San Diego, which is where we got married, and worked with our wedding planner seamlessly. We love their style of photography/videography and felt like we were accurately portrayed as a couple :) Thank you so much Astray - you are the best!!! -

Our pictures look straight out of a magazine! So in loves with our photos!
We were so happy we hired Astray! We worked with Brittney initially and she made the process so easy and was so great to work with. Our photos were such high quality, well worth it! Taylor was our photographer and she was the sweetest. I was so nervous for photos and she made me feel so comfortable. She was so stealthy during the ceremony/reception and she was everywhere all at the same time! Would HIGHLY recommend Astray! -

We used Brittney and Andy for both our engagement photos and wedding day! Our photos and video turned out beautifully!! I was a bit apprehensive about seeing so many videos and photos of myself but they wiped that worry away! I have never felt more confident/beautiful and it's all thanks to them! They also have a great vibe and make the day of feel relaxed and enjoyable! If you are looking for a team that will prioritize your wants and needs for your wedding day while still getting the job done then look no further! Brittney and Andy are absolutely incredible. They were the first vendor I booked. My wedding date was worked around their schedule because we loved their work so much. They’re fun, professional, detail oriented, and just so incredibly talented. Our engagement shoot was so fun! Our wedding day, the most intimate moments, I didn’t notice them but they captured everything! The quality of the photos and video are stunning. The way it gets delivered in a personalized wooden box is also gorgeous. They truly do not miss a step. After the wedding, all you’re left with is photo and video, so do yourself a favor and book with Astray. You will get quality, professionalism, kindness, attentiveness. Best photo/video team! So happy!
First off, we couldn’t LOVE the Astray team any more and are so grateful we chose them to capture our special day. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Brittney and Andy twice over the last couple years. As one of the million engaged couples during COVID, we had to re-schedule our wedding celebration a few times. Luckily, they were angels and were beyond accommodating and helped us celebrate both our small intimate wedding and then our delayed larger celebration! Since our first meet up at a coffee shop a couple years ago, we knew they were the perfect fit to shoot our wedding. It really is nerve-wracking trying to sort through so many great photographers, but it truly just clicked when we found their Instagram and site one day. Their mood, their story-telling and really the life that came through in their photos and video were like no one else. They make you feel like family from day one! And our family and friends just adored them! We knew we wanted our photo/video to be a team and know one another and to have them married just was so seamless. On the wedding day, they brought Maddie with them and it was just another compliment to how great they are and their team. She fit perfectly with the day and nothing felt forced and everything was so natural. Pictures will last forever and thank goodness we found Astray to capture these moments for us. Hands down one of our best decisions for our wedding! -

There are not enough words in the English language that can express how blown away we were with Astray Photography. From the moment we saw their work we knew they were the photographers meant to capture the best day of our lives!
Brittney & Andy are not only the cutest couple ever, they made the experience so fun! My husband and I are both awkward & uncomfortable taking pictures but you would never know it from our wedding album!
Our bridal party had a blast shooting with them & they captured the fun we were having effortlessly. We get to relive our wedding day over through the gorgeous photos and we literally can't stop showing them off!

I am speechless so we will see how well I can write this. We met Brittney and Andy at a bridal open for our venue, Peltzer Winery. We had fun chatting with them even before we noticed their photos. In looking at their photographs, we could tell that it was our style and incredibly professional. We did our engagement photos with Brittney. I can be a little awkward so Brittney and my now husband made me laugh and feel comfortable. When we saw our engagement photos we were floored. I have never looked so good or natural in my life. We received so many good comments from friends and family. We had Brittney, a second photographer and a videographer from Astray for our wedding day. They really worked with us on our tight timeline but made sure I enjoyed the whole process. I didn't even think about a camera at certain points and was able to enjoy my time getting ready. I am soooo glad we added a videographer. Andy edited our wedding video and I have probably watched it at least 10 times already. Trust me -- you will rewatch your wedding video if Andy and Brittney do it. Then we saw our wedding day photos and were speechless. Everytime I look at them I relive the joy of that day. Thank you Brittney and Andy for giving us lifelong memories. I have never seen more beautiful photos. -

As a Northern California local attempting to plan a wedding in San Diego, I was very nervous about vendor selection, especially when it came to a photographer. I combed through WeddingWire, Yelp, and Instagram, relying on lots of reviews and a little bit of good ole intuition. I stumbled upon Astray Photography. Based on their adoring reviews and gorgeous website, I submitted request for more information.
I was contacted by the owner, Brittney the very next day to set up a phone call. It took me about 30 seconds to realize there was no one else who would capture our wedding quite like Astray. In our initial conversation, Brittney spent all of her time learning about my fiancé and I, our story, and what we envisioned for our day. There was no pressure to make a decision, no rush! Every question I had was answered with grace (and believe me, I had a lot of questions!) Brittney was able to provide a package that covered all our needs, included an engagement shoot, and was totally affordable! I was so impressed by the attention to detail that went into the planning on Astray's side before the wedding. Brittney made sure that we had a collaborative itinerary ironed out a couple weeks before the wedding, detailing what was happening, when, and who with. This was so nice to be able to send to our bridal party so everyone was on the same page.
On the day of our wedding, when our photographers walked through the door, I felt like a couple of my friends had arrived. Not only were they on time, but they kept us on schedule throughout our day (a miracle for my group!) These girls were so personable and sweet but 1,000% professional and capable. As a person who CRINGES at the thought of being in front of the camera, I was so thankful to have photographers who made me comfortable and confident.
In the blink of an eye, we had a link to the most beautiful gallery of wedding photos. Brittney and her team have an eye for shots and a gift for editing, but what impressed me most was their ability to capture the moments. I can't quite put into words what a gift it is to have memories from our wedding which capture the personalities of myself and the ones I love most. We look like us (just a little more polished!) We are going to be obsessing over our photos for years to come.
I wish I could re-live our wedding day every Saturday! I would rebook Astray Photography EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Truly the best. We are so thankful we were blessed with a photographer who not only delivered an incredible gallery of photos, but a stellar experience from start to finish. -

Finding the perfect photographer to capture the right moments and memories probably was the most important aspect of our wedding day. When searching for a wedding photographer, I must have looked at dozens of websites, read countless reviews, but wasn’t connecting with anything I saw. All the photos I saw were beautiful - light and bright – and everything looked stunning. But it all looked the same to me. I wanted something more REAL, something that caught the mood of the day, almost a documentary style of photography that would focus not only on the necessary posed wedding shots, but also candid moments, and elements most photographers would overlook. And then I saw Brittany’s work at Astray Photography. Her work was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Her photography isn’t the norm that I saw over and over again. The darker colors she pulls in her photos are gorgeous – it makes everything you see in the images so much richer.
I contacted Brittany over the phone and we clicked instantly. I knew I wanted her to do both our engagement and wedding photos, and I found her prices to be quite reasonable. We discussed what my fiancé and I were looking for in terms of what was important to us – we wanted to make sure she captured our personalities and the lively time we were planning for our wedding guests. Laughter is big with us, and with Brittany’s incredibly kind and fun attitude, she put us at ease both during our engagement shoot and during our wedding. I was nearly in tears when I saw the wedding photos. Both Brittney and her assistant picked up on shots others simply wouldn’t. She memorialized our day in a way I don’t think anyone else could. And as the bride, everything was such a blur that day. I saw that she captured parts of my wedding that I didn’t get to fully appreciate at the time. Brittany was one of the best decisions I made in terms of planning my wedding. You simply can’t go wrong with choosing Astray Photography.
