Working with Asia and her team for our wedding was a dream come true! For us, it was really important that the day didn’t feel hyper orchestrated and that the photos that we received truly reflected the day, and Asia delivered above and beyond. She managed to stunningly capture every moment and emotion without us feeling like there were cameras everywhere impeding the natural flow of the moment as we can both be awkward and camera shy. Asia made us feel so special and comfortable, and we will forever be grateful for the memories she captured. She is a true artist and master of her craft. I’d get married again just to have her photograph it. -

Asia and her team are one of the most talented, kind and professional teams I have ever come across. Finding Asia was truly a dream come true early in the wedding planning process and she was an advocate in helping us make some key decisions in the beginning aside from photography!
From the first time we met Asia her energy and love were infectious. She made us feel so comfortable in our engagement session all the way through our wedding day. For a couple that is not exactly the most comfortable with photo shoots, Asia’s calm energy truly took us out of the moment.
Asia’s ability to capture the moment, as well as before and after the moment in such a unique way has been incredible to be a part of. She is an artist in every sense of the word, and we are so grateful to be a part of her work.

The absolute BEST!!
I am never at a loss for words.. but when we received our first look at our wedding pictures we were speechless! I knew we wanted to work with Asia when I saw her amazing photos and positive experience from other couples. We booked an engagement shoot on our site visit to the DR a year before our wedding, and we just fell in love with her and her team! They truly capture not just the moment, but so much of the emotion as well. It was never about “the picture” but always about the moment. She kept saying, you enjoy each other, and I will capture… and boy did she capture! Our wedding photos look like they are straight out of Vogue magazine, and even better we adore Asia. She is such a bright light and made our wedding day that much more special. I couldn’t recommend her and the Studio team enough!! -

Amazing experience!
My husband and I got married at Casa de Campo in Nov of 2023. We can not say enough good things about Asia and Paloma! They were so helpful and kind in the months leading up to the wedding and they were organized and efficient on the actual wedding day. There were so many family pictures that we wanted and they made sure that we got all the desired pictures and still got to enjoy our event with family and friends. They managed to capture every special candid moment throughout the day. Our pictures turned out incredible!!! And we can not wait to look back on these memories for years and years to come! -

To put it simply, our wedding weekend in Casa de Campo wouldn't have been the dream weekend that it was without Asia & her team. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful, but Asia was one thing that I knew I didn't have to worry about, as she was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. From our first video call with her, I knew that I could rely on her to not only take beautiful photos and videos of our weekend, but also to be a resource for wedding planning advice and support. Beyond being great at what she does, she's also the most kind and fun person to work with. She took my camera-shy husband and made us feel really comfortable and natural during our engagement session and wedding weekend. Asia, Paloma, & their team went above and beyond to make our weekend special, and our photos and videos turned out to be even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Almost a year later, we still have guests tell us how amazing our photographer was at our wedding, and I can't help but agree! -

The best choice we made!!!!
Asia and her team did the most amazing job photographing our wedding at Casa De Campo! From the moment we met Asia her energy was amazing- and the work her team delivered to us was beyond what we could have asked for! They captured all of the little details as well as all of the big moments. Looking at our album brings us back to our special day and puts the biggest smile on our face! Absolutely the best team we had the pleasure to work with for our wedding photography. Asia and her team made us feel relaxed and comfortable, which is no small feat during photoshoots, specially after a chaotic day of travel. She was very accommodating, which we really appreciated because we were not familiar with the area.
As for the photos, we could not be happier with them! They are absolutely stunning and Asia really captured the romantic vibe we were looking for. We are so grateful to have these photographs and we will cherish them forever. -

Asia and Niko are amazing. They are incredibly talented and disciplined. They were punctual. They captured everything we dreamed of and more! I could not imagine how beautiful our photos AND video would turn out! We are so happy with them! I see such great beauty, love, and soul in our photos and video. Asia's photos and Niko's video could not be more beautiful and take us back in time to those special moments every time. My heart warms up every time I look at my photos or video. We can go back to the blissful cloud 9 of our civil wedding day whenever we want! We are so lucky we had them capture our July 2020 elopement at Eden Roc Cap Cana. It was the best investment. It was a very small event (4 people total) due to the coronavirus situation at the time. We were grateful we could later share the photos and video with all the family members and friends who could not be there. Asia and Niko were very mindful of mask-wearing and social distancing. They are in demand in DR and abroad. They captured all the important details and moments but also made photography and videography unique to us and our preferences. Can't wait to see what these extraordinary, talented professional artists create at our religious wedding and reception at Casa de Campo this Thanksgiving weekend! We highly recommend them!
Also, Asia and Niko are a pleasure to have around! It's easy to see they are kind people. We felt very comfortable with them. Looking forward to having them with us again! -

If you’re wanting someone who is creative, truly LOVES photography, and who will capture the feeling, memories, and emotions you felt on your wedding day- then please hire Asia and her team! She has such a creative vision and I couldn’t be more glad that we chose her to photograph our most special day. Photography was the #1 most important thing to me on my wedding day- and she nailed it. Both my sister and I used her and it was one of the best decisions we made. Asia makes you feel so comfortable, and like your wedding is just as important to her as it is to you. When I got my wedding gallery and video back- I was brought to happy tears. My sister was, too. I loved all of my photos so much and my video was incredible as well. Beyond her work- she has the most loving heart, and infectious positive energy. It hard to put into words how elated my husband and I are that we got to work with this this team for the most amazing weekend of our lives. We started working with them in mid 2019 for a destination wedding we inevitably had to postpone and ultimately cancel due to COVID-19. They stuck with us and compassionately planned again for our back to back Indian/Beach hybrid weddings, no small task to say the least. We were blown away by the details and support from the team and feel so blessed for the experiences that will last forever. Love them the the moon and back! -

Where can I start with Asia and Niko, they take pride in their work and are passionate. I found Asia on Pinterest and had to find her and book her. (not to sound creepy but that's how it happened) =D Asia and Niko made sure to take the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals prior to us booking. We decided to take a trip to DR a year before the wedding to have our engagement photos taken with them. We walked all over Santo Domingo in the rain and all. Hubby and I are not what you call photogenic but Asia is so down to earth that we honestly forgot we were taking photos. I mean wet hair and all our photos came out perfect. After photos Asia took the time to sit and have dinner with us, we learned so much about her. I was even more certain she was perfect for our wedding day, I knew I could trust her 100%. For that year while I planned my wedding we were in communication with Asia, anything I needed if she could she would assist. The day of the wedding Asia and her team were unbelievable. Our wedding felt like a dream and when I look at the photos I truly relive every moment. The video covered every moment, even the moments we could not experience fully.
I was so lucky to have found these two they exceeded our expectation.
We still communicate often and plan on booking her again when our family makes a trip to DR next year. -

Top notch experience
Asia + team were amazing! We originally booked them to shoot our wedding in The Dominican but we had some changes and ended up getting married in Florida instead. Asia was flexible and excited to change the location which was a huge relief on our end. We absolutely love our photos and how many perfect moments were caught. Asia + Niko went above and beyond to capture some great shots and we are thrilled! Definitely recommend for any bride and groom looking for a talented, dependable and flexible photographer! -

Breathtaking memories on our 10th wedding anniversary
We knew Asia and her Team were the ones since our first contact. Our expectations were high, the highest you could imagine. Our wedding photos and video were a complete disaster. Therefore, we wanted our 10th year wedding anniversary to be perfect. We wanted our memories to show that we were living a normal happy life before knowing each other. But that the real happiness came when we met. We wanted our passion for traveling to show. The love of our friends and families to show. How our love had gotten stronger during these 10 years of marriage. It was such an abstract idea... But Asia and Niko grabbed that ambiguous idea and created ART. I look at these magic photos and feel the emotions of those moments again. We have watched the EPIC video a million times and enjoyed every single minute of it.
Needles to mention their professionalism, excellence, talent, originality and passion for what they do. They made everything so effortless and fun, we didn’t even notice we were in a photo shoot session.
For all the above reasons and more, you should stop wasting your time looking for a Photographer and Videographer. You have found the perfect ones. -

I'm not really sure how we found Asia and her team, but I am so glad we did! Back when my wife and I were shopping for venues in DR, we decided to have some fun and schedule an engagement shoot on the beach. Neither of us had ever done anything like this and so we were very nervous. Asia and Niko picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the beach for our shoot at 5AM! We instantly connected with these two and they made us feel so comfortable throughout the shoot, guiding and directing us through the shots. After seeing the results of the engagement shoot, hiring them for the wedding was a no brainer. Our wedding photos were even more incredible. Asia and Niko have a unique style, it's effortless, timeless beauty. For an event as classic as your wedding, their style fits perfectly. Asia has essentially become a part of our family and we looks forward to future shoots as our family grows, and really... whenever we are in DR!!! I would recommend them 100 times over on the biggest day of your life!!! -

Our experience with Asia and Niko was absolutely amazing. They both take their work very seriously while still having fun - photography (and capturing of love) is something they are so passionate about. This comes through in their work and their demeanor and is a major reason we chose them for our wedding. They took the time to get to know us as a couple and made our relationship with them more of a friendship than a working relationship. From the first day we chatted via video chat, we fell in love! Asia made every nuance possible - we wanted our engagement photos taken in our home city of NYC and to be able to use the same photographer for our destination wedding in Casa De Campo, and they made this work seamlessly on their end. From the moment we got our engagement photos from NYC, we knew we had made the right decision. The trust I felt in Asia left me feeling stress-free on our wedding day - what more can you ask for as a bride? When, after the wedding day, Asia felt we didn't have enough couple portraits, she asked us to get back into our wedding gear for some follow up photos a week later... I mean.. who does that?! She met us at another destination for a few hours to get some insanely amazing shots. The fact is that Asia and her team will go above and beyond to make sure that their clients are satisfied and we felt that every step of the way. To say that these two exceeded our expectation would be an understatement. We feel so lucky to have had them as our wedding photo/videographers and now, as lifelong friends! -

We were so lucky to find Asia and her team for our weddings. From the first video chat with Asia to our first in person meeting in rainy NYC, we were always greeted with Asia’s warmth, excitement, and creativity. Asia was one of best decisions we made and one of the first vendors that we booked. We wanted to have the same photographer for our NYC wedding and our smaller destination wedding in DR and Asia made that dream a reality with a custom package for two locations. We loved the bright, airy, and classic look of her work and fell in love with Niko’s video style. Spending time with her always felt like being with family and I can honestly say she and her team have definitely become a big part of ours.
Engagement in NYC
Niko & Asia came up to NYC for our engagement photos and they honestly exceeded our expectations because every photo in our gallery was stunning work of art, we could not believe it was even us in the photos!
Wedding Day in NYC
Leading up to wedding day we worked closely with Asia to discuss some portraits with our families and the day-of plan. She and her team linked up seamlessly with our wedding planner and helped us to organize the day to maximize the light during day and as many special shots as we could get. We did a walk through the venue a few days before which was incredibly helpful. When we received our gallery, we could not believe how many special moments they captured. We were so lucky to relive all of the emotions of our big day because each photo told a story.
We cannot wait to see them again in a little over a month for photos in Altos De Chavon and our wedding in Dreams Dominicus. We highly recommend Asia and her team without any hesitation, the quality of work speaks for itself but more importantly Asia and her folks are incredibly friendly and always a pleasure to work with. THANK YOU so much for capturing our big day(s)!

My wife and I were introduced to Asia through a referral for our Wedding in 2015. November of 2014 was the first time we spoke to Asia, and we had a great connection from the start. We felt very comfortable moving forward and Asia made it easy and reassuring that putting our trust in her was her number one goal for in the months leading and planning of our wedding. Asia, Niko and their team did wonderful capturing our many moments and did so in and way that fits our personalities as a couple. That is something that we truly value in Asia’s work. Great photographer with Amazing eye
We had Asia and team for our wedding photos on 4/19/19. I had been in contact with her for a year- a few Skype sessions and connecting via email. I fell in love with her work because of the lighting and how I could feel the happiness people were experiencing through her work. Asia is a fantastic photographer. She will keep you on schedule, and call out when she needs you to pay more attention or do something a certain way so she can get the shot. It still felt natural though and we really will enjoy her work for years to come. -

We Skyped with Asia a few times which really eased our mind. The day of the wedding it rained and was more windy that was ideal, but Asia & Paloma did the best under the circumstances and we couldn't be happier with the results. Absolutely amazing - highly recommend!
Asia and her Team showed us the best time in Punta Cana - and captured absolutely amazing moments in local spots that she recommended. We were there for a vacation and wanted to do our engagement photos on the beach. I got married in Punta Cana on Nov 2017. I followed a bunch of photographers and Asia was one of my top picks. Sadly I did not get to use her for my wedding but continued to follow her on social media. I’m from NYC and saw she was visiting in Aug 2018. Fortunately, my husband and I were expecting our first baby so it was the perfect time to finally book her for a maternity shoot!
Asia was super reliable, talented and goes above and beyond. Her assistant Paloma was extremely helpful and friendly too. We shot our photos in Fort Tryon Park and she took extra time with us. I absolutely loveeeeeeeeee the photos. I still get teary eyed looking at them. Asia is amazing and has a kind heart. I would book her again :) Thank You Asia!! Xoxo -

Asia is an extremely talented photographer since she goes out of her way to go above her craft ever. single. shot. She never settles for less nor does she ever get comfortable ! She is beyond professional and passionate about her work. Asia took wonderful photos of my wedding and I will be sure to return to Punta Cana to take anniversary pictures as well. I loved her constant follow ups and Skype sessions. It was very difficult to tame 100 guests at a beach wedding, but Asia had no problem getting everyone in order to get the best pictures. -

Booking Asia, Niko, and their team to capture our love was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. Their artistry and attention to detail is unmatched and superior. We booked them as a team for both, photo and video, and if I had to describe their work, I would describe it as something "deliciously different", timeless, fresh, original, unconventional yet classic. Now, besides getting the best quality we could possible get, we had the pleasure to work and become friends with two amazing human beings. Photographer and videographer who push for perfection!
Planning a wedding 2000+ miles away in a country you’ve never been to, paired with the detailed nature of an interior designer certainly brought out my “Type A”. But Asia and Niko were up to the challenge, always with a relaxed helpful nature! Their work stood out immediately when I came across a photo of theirs Pinterest and every step of our 18-month engagement they fulfilled our high hopes. Leading up to the wedding they were warm, engaging, and did everything they could to get to know us as a couple from a remote location in Minnesota. They were resourceful with vendor recommendations, knowledge of the island we were traveling to, and even had tips to prepare us for wedding day perfection when it came to sun care hah! I think what I was most appreciative of was that they were assertive with capturing moments of our day. I specifically remember a moment when Niko and Asia were taking a photo of me in my wedding gown and a man had walked into the photo in his swimsuit and stopped for an extended period of time and to view the wedding festivities, knowing I wouldn’t want a partially clothed man in my wedding dress photo they quickly asked him to move. That, in addition to the coaching they provided us taking photos in front of strangers on the beach, providing us icebreakers when we felt “stiff” or “awkward” allowed them to capture our TRUE feelings we felt that day instead of perhaps the nerves of standing before numerous friends and family on display. Our photography and videography were THE single most important thing we spent money on for our wedding and Asia and Niko made sure that the money we spent on photography and videography left us with lasting images of the happiest memories on the best day of our lives. Their talent and professionalism truly made the photos and videos we got back simply amazing! -

Amazing Experience!!!!
I cannot expressed enough how great it was to work with Asia and Niko!!! My husband and I had a Destination Wedding on April 2016 at Sanctuary Cap Cana! Since I fly often to Dominican Republic I was able to meet with them before. Both were very professional and after talking to them I just knew they were the ones to capture my big day!! During the process leading to the wedding day, Asia was always in communication with me to obtain updates and information on the wedding and on the engagement photos. Additionally, she was quick to respond to any of my inquiries or question. She also assisted me in providing me with suggestions since doing a destination wedding across the country is not an easy task. Also I can never forget the day of out engagement photo where our car broke down on the way to our photo session and Asia and Niko went above and beyond to assist us to be able to complete our engagement photos that day. Which I can never thank enough! The point is Asia and her team go above and beyond to assist their clients!!! And my wedding photos and video!! I can't say enough how in love I am with their work!! Alexandra Sent on 10/14/2018My husband Zach and I decided to take our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. Since we never got formal engagement photos, we thought it might be fun to do portraits on the honeymoon - especially because otherwise we'd only have those awkwardly posed photos taken by random strangers. Anyway, Asia was highly recommended to us by our wedding coordinator (Claire Duran), and we immediately saw why. Asia was extremely prepared, professional, courteous, patient, creative and inventive, and she coached the session in such a way that we felt like we were just hanging out with a friend who happened to be taking photos of us. She made us feel so comfortable, and we had the time of our lives with her. Niko joined us for one of the three shoots (we did one in each location we visited while on the island), and he had his own distinct style, which totally added to the overall experience! They both know the ins and outs of the DR, so they helped us choose the ideal locations for the shoots (which was great because we wouldn't have known to visit these cool sites otherwise!). We couldn't be more thrilled with the final product. Our family and friends are in awe of how stunning, gorgeous, and perfect these photos are. We are SO happy we went with Asia Pimentel Photography for this shoot, and we want to HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone who plans on visiting the Dominican Republic for a proposal, wedding, honeymoon, or anything worthy of its own portrait session. They exceeded all our expectations and were able to capture all the emotion from our special day. During our "trash the dress" shoot, the groom was feeling ill- Asia and Niko went above and beyond to take care of him. They treated us like family and we will forever be grateful. Angie Sent on 10/09/2018OK Where do I begin?! Asia & Niko were the first vendor I booked after the venue. I saw their work and stalked them all over the Internet and just knew I had to have them. Their work is just incredible, it is truly ART!
I felt that if there was one thing I was going to splurge on it was going to be the photos because you have them forever and I feel I got every penny’s worth out of my investment.
We love Asia and Niko so much, we felt like I had known them for years and they treated us like family. We will never forget their kindness and hospitality at both the wedding and Rock the Dress session at Altos de Chavon- they were more than just photographers for us- they calmed our nerves on the wedding day/night and took care of everything at our Rock the Dress session, it was a truly stress-free experience.
The photos were well worth the wait- I can’t stop looking at them… they seriously look like something out of a magazine. Asia & Niko made everything in our wedding and Rock the Dress session look so magical and dreamy. In fact, the photos Asia & Niko took were so beautiful that they were featured in a popular wedding blog and I have even come across some on Pinterest!

Asia was so easy to communicate with, it felt like talking to a long time friend, that’s how sweet she is. She answered all of my questions promptly and also provided helpful suggestions as we are not from the area. The locations selected for the session were just so beautiful. During the session she made us feel comfortable and at ease. You can almost instantly see that she is really passionate about her art, it’s like seeing an artist create a wonderful masterpiece. Needless to say we were at aw when we received our photographs. The quality of her work is just breathtaking. If you hire her it would be the best decision you would ever make while planning your wedding, as photographs are the best way to relieve one of the most important day of your life.

Lindsay Sent on 09/30/2018We came across Asia and Niko through various forms of social media while planning our wedding at Huracan café. From the beginning I could notice a clear distinction between their work and the work of a couple other photographers. Their pictures felt sharper, they popped, and they felt natural and not overly edited. Their work spoke for itself.
Whenever we emailed them they always responded within 24 hours, usually within a couple hours. Always professional. Most importantly they are truly artisans. They still use film to capture all of their shots. They truly care about what they do. They work well as a team and have fun with what they do. They are storytellers. You won’t get cheesy direction from them. They will capture your day as it was which was a huge plus for us. They are flexible, energetic and enthusiastic. I would not have traded them for anyone else.
We also did a “rock the dress” shoot with them the day after the wedding. Asia and Niko did everything they could to make sure it went on without a hitch. Niko was awesome with all the underwater shots and some of our favorite photos came from this session. Do yourself a favor and do not skip this!
I would not shy away from them due to their price. They are more than worth it. Your photos matter and are memories you will keep forever!
They are worth the money and then some! Talented, professional, caring, amazing photography team! We feel blessed to have found them and know no one could have captured our day and our love as well as they did!

From initial wedding planning stages until this day, Asia and Niko stay in touch and answer any questions we may have. I truly feel like they made wedding planning very joyful and stress free for us. The only time when I had hard time is waiting impatiently to see the photos and video from our wedding :)

User2608997 Sent on 09/30/2018How do you put into words just how wonderful Asia, and Niko are? The way they move, the way they work together, the way they compliment each other, its so incredible. You look over at Asia half hanging over a railing (not very safely) trying to get the perfect shot, and there's Niko, at her side making sure she doesn't fall. They put their heart and soul into everything they do, and you can feel it and see it in the pictures you get back. Pictures that you didn't even know they were around for, seriously, I barely noticed them, except for when the video of my nephew came up, and I started bawling, definitely noticed all eyes on me then, haha. Asia and Niko were great at directing us, showing us how to make the pictures a little more magical, but at the same time, not making us over pose, or anything, it felt a little more natural. My favorite part (besides the wedding), was the day we went to Altos De Chavon for our "trash the dress" shoot. It was so nice to be able to sit and talk with them, I loved it, getting to know them. If you're looking for a photographer for your special day, I highly recommend them to anyone, they were absolutely awesome to work with!

Fantastic photography!
Asia Pimentel and Paloma (her assistant) are super strategic when it comes to capturing all the important moments. We had 6 guys and 3 girls in our bridal party and believe me, getting 6 guys to care about taking photos is no easy task and getting them to stand in the right places before the sun sets is even harder. They were both super professional and know how to divide and conquer. I noticed that Asia captured everything on film and not digital which was even more impressive. It is obvious that she has an eye for the aesthetics and she really gets in the zone to capture you and your husband in the most beautiful light possible. The final photos were amazing and I was told multiple times from friends that they looked like they belonged in a bridal magazine. So beyond happy we went with Asia for our special day! -
