Ashley came recommended by our wedding venue, and her beautiful work immediately stood out. It also helped that she had photographed my friend’s wedding, so I felt completely at ease booking someone whose work I had already seen and trusted. I did the research (bride here!) and the groom was on board—but after our engagement session, even the groom was impressed. The first thing he said to me afterward was, “I really like her”.
The groom hates taking pictures and neither of us is naturally comfortable posing for photos, but Ashley made the entire experience feel effortless. She gave clear, direct cues and guidance, which we really appreciated—there was no awkward standing around or guessing what to do next. She was efficient, confident, and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. While there weren’t many instructions beyond location and timing details for the engagement session despite asking, and I did have to follow up about scheduling a phone call closer to the wedding since I wasn’t sure what to expect, it was still clear that Ashley is an expert who has everything under control.
On the wedding day, Ashley brought such a calm, reassuring energy and stayed organized throughout. We let her know ahead of time that we wanted to get most of our photos done before the ceremony so we could actually enjoy cocktail hour, and she executed this perfectly. She didn’t miss a beat, made sure to reference our short shot list which even I had already forgotten about, and thanks to her efficiency we were able to join cocktail hour for about 30 minutes—which meant so much to us. She also showed us quick previews of some shots to make sure we felt good about them, which we loved.
We received our wedding teasers barely two days after our wedding, which was a pleasant surprise since we didn’t expect it or even know to ask, and I am absolutely obsessed. I’ve been admiring these photos nonstop for the past two weeks. And if the teasers are any indication, the full gallery is going to be incredible.
We are so grateful we chose Ashley and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a talented, professional photographer who truly knows her craft.

Best photo team around!!
My husband and I are so happy we chose Ashley and her team to capture our perfect day! First of all, I didn’t see anyone else offer the same level of service for such an affordable price - and I did lots of research. After meeting Ashley at our engagement shoot we knew our wedding day would be easy and she’d be able to capture our vision effortlessly. Not only were they so fun to work with, but they made sure we got all the shots we wanted and then some. Also, I love that we will get every single photo and video that they took - not a limited selection or only the final finished video. Ashley Krug is the Photographer Every Bride Dreams Of.
Ashley was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first message, she was warm, responsive, and genuinely excited for us. She made us feel like our day mattered as much to her as it did to us. For our engagement shoot, she was game for anything which was so much fun to just see what happened. It was raining but she was prepared and pivoted and made us feel like the rain was planned all along. On our wedding day, Ashley and Dave were pure magic, calm, cool, and collected, even when things got a little chaotic. She stepped in with such grace and confidence, advocating for us when our day-of coordinator was being difficult, and somehow kept the energy light and joyful the entire time. She has this incredible ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which made the experience so natural and fun. It felt like Ashley and Dave were guests with cameras instead of vendors, which meant a lot as we really wanted the candid feel to the photos and based on the teasers, they got it perfectly. And the photos… I don’t even have words. The teaser photos alone brought me to tears, they captured the moment exactly as I remember it! They’re absolutely stunning. She captured not just the big moments, but the little in-between ones that tell the real story of our day. Every image feels like us, authentic, emotional, and beautiful- they were posed but it didn't feel like we were posing. If you’re a bride wondering whether to book Ashley, do it. She will not only give you breathtaking photos, she’ll bring expertise, excitement and high energy to one of the most important days of your life. We’re forever grateful to her. ❤️ -

Stunning photos, friendly, great with kids and extremely fast
We used Ashley for family photos after seeing her work on Instagram. Everything was fantastic- the ease of scheduling, she came to where we were staying, she worked so well with my kids. The photos were absolutely stunning. I have never worked with a photographer that got photos back to us this quickly. She was also so friendly, made us feel comfortable as my kids were running around, letting them have fun with the session. I would recommend her to any one and everyone. -

Personally, photography and videography was one of the MOST important details for me on our wedding day. A wedding can take place anywhere, and if you have an amazing photographer and videographer they will make your vision happen. When I tell you they made it happen and went above and beyond ! My husband and I did the package that included engagement pictures, 10 hours of picture and video, and a 10 minute video of our wedding. We added an extra hour to our package. ALL OF IT has been astonishing. The way the entire team captures those moments. Also, I was so worried because my husband and I are not the best at posing… but everyone there will help you on how to pose, give you ideas, and make you feel comfortable. I felt so stress free the day of and knew I would get so many moments taken by their team. The ENTIRE team is amazing from Ashley, Dave, Harper, to Ariana. I truly appreciate their work and dedication. The results are BEYOND amazing. -

Simply amazing
Ashley and her team are absolutely AMAZING!!! Her husband Dave photographed our engagement session and the photos were fantastic. Ashley shot our wedding and someone from her team did video (I can’t remember her name, but she was great!)
Ashley was very communicative throughout the entire planning process. Day of our wedding, she made sure to stage us and took all of our important photos. We were married on a Friday and she had teasers to us Monday! Like whoa! And the teasers…holy moly, I cannot wait to see the rest and the video. She was able to get the drone up (we were near Sanford airport) and took some amazing photos and video with it!
Ashley is sweet, on time, great communicator, and she is amazing at her profession! Our guests are still talking about her!!
We 1,000% recommend Ashley and her team. She is now our photographer for life, all important moments will be captured by her and her team! You will not regret hiring her. -

The best wedding decision I ever made!
Ashley, Dave, and their whole team are INCREDIBLE. Ashley photographed our engagement shoot and every photo was absolutely gorgeous. Every time I looked at the pics I got more excited for our wedding. Dave photographed our wedding day, and Ariana was our videographer and I can’t put into words how perfect of a job they did. They captured every special moment, every kiss, everything we wanted to remember from our day. We got SO many photos and each person who we invited to celebrate us was included. Both the photos and video left us speechless. Ashley, Dave and Ariana are all very creative and helpful for posing ourselves, the outfits, the bouquets and all the details to make sure our photos and video came out perfect! Another great thing about their team was that they were always quick to respond and provided all the info we needed to know for detail shots, important family/bridal party shots to capture, and fun poses to do with our family, friends and guests. All information was given in advance and took a lot of stress off my planning. They used our first dance and favorite songs for the video too! So professional and at this point lifelong friends with the whole crew. We love you guys! -

Clearwater Wedding
I cannot recommend Ashley & her team enough! I was a destination bride on a budget and found exactly what I was looking for in Ashley & David! We had a blast with them, from the time they showed up & until the time they had to leave! They are true professionals and made us all feel so comfortable. Not to mention they are both hilarious, especially Dave! We received our photos within the time frame listed in our contract (about 6 weeks). Ashley does provide sneak peaks - we received about 20 before our full album was delivered. Our video is equally as amazing as our photos. She even surprised us by adding our wedding song to our video which was an added bonus that I wasn’t expecting! Do yourself a favor & choose Ashley Krug Photography for your wedding or any special occasion!! I promise you won’t be disappointed! 10/10 highly recommend! Over the top - highest recommendation!
We are absolutely blown away by our experience with Ashley and her team! Three weeks before our wedding, we had to begin our search again for a photographer for our big day. Ashley was recommended to me by a friend and I, crying on a Friday night, sent her a message on Instagram to shoot my shot. She immediately responded and by Sunday we had a plan to move forward. Harper was with us on the day of our wedding and within minutes of meeting her, felt like we’d known her for years. Capturing our special day was one of the most important things for us. We were very picky about our wedding photographer and found Ashley on a “top wedding photographers in Florida” list online. I cannot stress enough how grateful we are that we chose her and her team as our photographers. She has a creative eye that many wouldn’t think would end up looking the way she sees things. She blew us away with her sheer talent! By the time my ceremony ended, it was already dark and started to rain. Ashley answered all of my questions (and there were ALOT of them) before I even put down a deposit. She basically held my hand the whole time and helped me with whatever she could all while being either VERY pregnant or having a newborn. Janice was incredible to work with the day of my wedding. She jumped right in and did things that I didnt even think of to do. she worked VERY well with my photographers, you would have thought that they knew each other forever. 10/10 I recommend -

We LOVED having Ashley and Dave at our wedding!! Ashley was so communicative leading up to the wedding and from the moment they got there, they were already giving guidance on the photos they wanted to take and how to pose and work the lighting. My husband isn’t normally comfortable in front of a camera but he couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved having them there and how well of a job they did. It was so fun to work with them and we had an absolute blast! We even got sample shots the following day and a full video and photo album within a week! I couldn’t recommend a better photography/videography team in the Orlando area than them! -

Brianna and Janice were our photographers with Ashely being our point of contact & doing our edits. We met Brianna and Janice for the first time the day of our wedding and they immediately put me at easy! They had a laid back personality, with also being able to organize our families easily (which is seriously impressive since we have a big and loud family),really listened to what I was looking for, gave advice/suggestions, took the time to find seriously awesome places to take pictures at our venue (winter in Wisconsin and to cold to do a lot outside) and Brianna even helped lace my wedding dress up! Truly such an amazing experience working with these ladies! I was completely stress free and immediately felt like I was in great hands and all I needed to do was listen to their direction! I have some sneak peaks back already (less than a week later😍) and the work is absolutely beautiful!! They were able to capture us as a couple so beautifully! Hands down the best photographer and videographer duo! Ashley and her husband, David, were the best part of our day- we spent 10 hours with them and it felt like we had known them for a lifetime! When we initially asked Ashley about their services, she was willing to jump on a FaceTime call from the airport to answer all my questions & we hit it off. My husband and I reviewed her portfolio and knew we wanted to go with her! She and David travelled up to Savannah for our big day and made the day seem so effortless! David and Ashley’s calm demeanor kept me calm throughout the day. They are seriously the coolest people to work with and if you have any doubt at all about booking them for photography or videography, stop now and go book them! You won’t regret it. Awesome job on my wedding
These two are amazing! I hired them for my 2 day Indian wedding and they did an awesome job! They listened to our vision and made it come to reality. The quality of their pictures are also high quality. I am so happy I found Ashley Krug Photography for my wedding because looking around, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture my wedding. My husband and I had a wedding planned for April 5th, and we were so excited to have found a talented photographer & videographer for our big wedding.
My husband and I watched as COVID-19 really starting sprouting up in our area, and were so nervous to have 200+ people gathering. We were doubting that anything would go right on our special day.
Ashley had reached out in the middle of March asking what our plans were. Her reaching out to us while everything was going awry for us was just the start of our great experience with her. I had been planning the wedding pretty much by myself and was beyond “Bridezilla” at this point, and with all the weight of our friends and family asking me what the next move was, Ashley was the only hired part of our plans that had reached out to us. This was such a breath of fresh air to me during such a stressful time.
As I had signed a contract, Ashley offered an array of options (as well as still being available for our Plan A). Her professional insight leveled both my husband & my heads, and we decided to elope last-minute. Ashley was available to capture our day only 2-days in advanced. And, let me tell you, she knocked it out-of-the-park!
Ashley captured every bit of our ceremony in exceptionally beautiful photos, and as we had a very intimate ceremony (with less than 10 people in the room with us), we had no idea she was there while everything was happening. She was very discreet, and fit right into our gang! What a pleasure.
Our photos as a couple were so much fun! I’ve only had professional photos taken once for our engagement and am totally goofy when it comes to taking photos. She eased us out of our silly awkwardness and made us look like models, LOL! Seriously! I can’t believe how beautiful the photos turned out!!!
This part is a MUST-READ:
We decided to do an early-morning elopement, and she met me promptly at 7am to do a sunrise shoot, driving from nearly 2-hours away. As everyone was starting to coop up, I got ready by myself that morning, and met with her alone. I was so nervous that morning, and although I was excited to get married to the love of my life, I was sad that my big day was something I had to do alone. Ashley was the first one to see me that morning, and she helped me out of my car, helped me zip up my dress, and button my sleeves. She was so down-to-earth, sweet soul, and made me feel so beautiful and loved. And she was practically a stranger! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her professionalism, but her caring, hospitable character & heart of gold is what truly made her stand out.
Thank you so much, Ashley, for being YOU. I couldn’t imagine having doing business with anyone else, and we are confident that you were a God-send to us. We are so honored to have had your talent capture our day, and you will be a special part of our memories for many years to come. -

12-31-19 Wedding
Ashley and her husband, David, are absolutely AMAZING!! People aren’t lying when they say your wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye, but thanks to Ashley, I am able to go back and look at all my pictures and stunning video and replay the day as much as I want!! The two biggest pieces that need to fall in place before everything else while planning a wedding, are the venue and the photographer. Ashley and her husband did an amazing job capturing not only the love my husband and I share for eachother but also the crazy goofy sides of both our families. Her options for payment were some of the best I've ever seen, and she even throws random "discounts" outs on her social media pages. Her husband was absolutely hilarious and kept my husband and I laughing for some great video moments! They both kept it at ease to where all our photos look natural. There is no one else I will use for any other photography sessions! -

Absolutely amazing photography and videography team
We are so happy we choose this pair as our photographers for our wedding. They captured everything from our wedding, and we are forever grateful for the memories. They where on time, pleasent, easy to communicate with, gave quick responses to questions, and affordable the saying you get what you pay for does not apply here because you get more than what you pay for, the quality is superb. Ashley is very easy to work with, great response time, and knows her stuff!
Ashley is willing to do whatever it takes she traveled over 2 hours to meet with us for our engagement pictures! I am very ocd, picky, and wanted 3 different outfits and 3 different scenes. She didn’t rush us at all even when it was getting close to that end time she let me get what I wanted. She was very easy going and fun to talk with and get to know. Our pictures turned out AMAZING Ashley is definitely good at her job in capturing special moments posed and unposed. -

Ashley is simply amazing! We found her on a facebook group from a promotion she was running, and I'm so glad we did!
Her prices are affordable and her work is beautiful! We recently did our engagement photos with her, and we were both very nervous since it was the first time either of us have had any type of professional photos done, but she made us feel so comfortable, and the experience a blast! Ashley and her Husband are so nice, very laid back, and easy to talk to, which made the whole process a breeze. We can't wait to work with her on our wedding day, highly recommend! We hired South North for our engagement photos and liked them so much we asked them to photograph our wedding as well, even though our venue came with a photographer. We feel so blessed to have found them as they were professional, punctual and incredibly talented and creative with each pose! Every time I watch the video it makes me cry happy tears. Can't Be Beat
First of all, I loved that Ashley works with her husband David in their photo and video business. It was so nice to work with a husband/wife duo. They have a lot of passion for what they do and treat each wedding and each individual couple differently based their unique personalities. Our wedding photos and video were absolutely beautiful! We were given over 1,100 photos and we're having a hard time deciding which ones to frame vs. put in a photo album (and frankly that's because framing all the ones we love would required a lot of frames and wall space). They did such a great job of capturing so many of the in between moments, helping us hold onto memories we may otherwise forget in a few years. I am so happy I stumbled upon this couple on Facebook and qualified for their special discount. Most couples pay an arm and a leg for photo and video (and while I agree its the one thing you should splurge on), it's not out of the realm of possibility to find quality photographers/videographers for prices that won't break your bank. I highly recommend them and suggest you book them fast before the secret really gets out about them. -

However, that did not worry them. They got a list of photos from me and those were taken with out and complaints and Ashley even threw in some more photos that unexpected. When we were able to see our finished photos and video we were both blown away. i cried all over again. they capture every amazing moment of our special day and made it even more magical. I will always use Ashley Krug Photography for all my future photo needs.

Overall, we are very happy with how everything turned out. Ashley did a great job getting many candid moments as a I requested, and she did an amazing job incorporating great color into the landscaping, which I love!! However, when writing these reviews my number one question: would I have wanted that information prior to hiring this vendor? I also think that the vendors themselves will learn from any critique. Hindsight is always 20/20.
We met and hired Ashley from a Facebook ad on the marketplace. At the initial meeting we really liked her and her husband, Dave, and that did not change. Ashley and Dave are very nice, personable and seem like interesting and fun people that are doing what they love. Ashley’s prices are great. She provides quality photography and videography for a much more affordable price than her competitors, and overall her photos are awesome; however, there are a few things that bothered me.
First, I am an extremely detail orientated individual, this sometimes means I notice little things that no one else does, such as a hair in my face, or if a ring or necklace is backwards, etc. I will pinpoint my focus on that like a dog with a bone, and there were several of those pictures in my engagement and wedding photos where my ring was not showing and should have been or strands of hair were on my face in the way of a great shot. As I said before, we are overall happy with the product we received, but if you are one of my fellow detail orientated individuals, make sure you mention this to Ashley. Perhaps if it is on her radar she will be looking for it as well.
Second, I gave her a 3 on responsiveness and professionalism because she cancelled 2 appointments on us. First she had to reschedule our engagement pictures, which she done in plenty of time; however, the 2nd time was to met at the site, which she offered to do when we booked her. It was obvious she didn't want to do it, as she repeatedly told me that it is not something she typically does, then when she cancelled she did so 4 hours prior to the appointment. I had already taken off work and the event coordinator had moved around her schedule.
Next, in the wedding photos, we did not get a lot of family shots with like our children, siblings, extended family that was there, and honestly there were nearly no pictures of my husband and his groomsmen getting ready, and I would of liked more of those. This being said, I think again that this was a lack of pre-wedding communication. I didn’t think to make this clear, and I assume she did not think to ask. This last thing is a tricky item to criticize because I am certain that had I made a specific request for this I am sure she would have been cooperative; however, they are the professionals so giving the clients some insight to the normal process in weddings, some popular options, or websites to research and perhaps providing some checklists would be very beneficial to both sides.
Overall, you will not be disappointed in the finished product. She has a great eye for landscaping and how to incorporate that into a great photo that you will treasure forever. I have many shots that I love and will treasure forever, and the video was awesome. Just make sure you communicate with her in the very beginning what your expectations are, and ask lots of questions.
