Ashley is the best!
When we were searching for wedding photographers, Ashley was an easy choice for us because of her style, but hiring her for our wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made! Ashley is not only professional but also so kind and thoughtful, and made everyone feel so at ease. We are THRILLED with our photos-- she really captured the spirit of the day, and we will cherish them forever. Not only do we have amazing portraits, but also so many beautiful candids and detail shots. We would 1000% work with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in VA and beyond! -

Ashley was our photographer for our wedding on Memorial day weekend. She was wonderful to work with and very professional and organized. She sent us some preview photos from the big day within a few days of the wedding. It was great to have the small group of photos to get a glimpse of how the others would look and to have a few to post on social media. She really captured our day and was so nice and easy to work with! -

I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in one of the first weddings Ashley ever shot and I remember even then being really impressed with her skills. Once I got engaged I just knew I wanted her to shoot my wedding, as well. Not only are her image processing and editing skills amazing, but her flexibility, professionalism, punctuality, and personality cannot be beat. It was raining for our engagement shoot and cold/cloudy for our wedding day and the images/vibe she was able to create made me almost glad that the sun was never out! She can make anyone have fun while taking pictures and is so funny and down to earth. Her communication skills are perfect and I never felt like I was annoying her or anything because she was always in regular communication with me and was perfectly pleasant and attentive to any worries or questions I had. She clearly communicates when you can expect your pictures back and she does not take very long at all, especially given just how many pictures she gives you. You will be so so glad you chose her for your engagement/wedding pictures. She is an incredible photographer and somehow and even better human. She fills up quick because everyone knows she is the best, so if you are thinking about reaching out to her for your wedding, just do it!! -

Ashley & team are the best!
I've been following Ashley's work for several years and loved all of it, so when I got engaged she was one of the first vendors I booked. From our first conversation, I could tell she was invested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted in terms of photography. She recommended a beautiful location for our engagement photos, and she worked with us throughout the planning process. She even traveled to our venue for a walkthrough before the wedding to ensure our timeline and photo locations were perfect. On the day of, she started early, kept us on track, and made sure we got every photo we wanted. I love all of our engagement photos and our wedding sneak peek (available the day after the wedding) is amazing. I can't wait to see the rest. I'd recommend Ashley and team to anyone - you'll be glad you booked someone so easy to work with. -

Best Decision Ever
Ashley was hands-down my #1 vendor from my entire wedding experience. Not only are her pictures amazing (those speak for themselves) but she was the best vendor to work with. Ashley was my go-to for so many questions, she created the best timeline for my wedding day and she made taking photos so easy. Our wedding wouldn’t have been as wonderful without Ashley. Ashley has a smile that lights up the room and makes you instantly feel comfortable in front of the camera. She even got my husband to enjoy having his photo taken which is almost impossible! When I was super overwhelmed with emotions before our first look, she took the lead, told me exactly what to do, and set my mind at ease. From our first engagement shoot, to our first COVID cancellation, to our third wedding date, working with Ashley was flawless, easy, and reassuring. Our engagement and wedding photos are incredible, and the calm she brought to our day was so needed and appreciated. Hire Ashley!! She will be the perfect addition to your wedding, and more importantly, your memories. -

Look no further, Ashley is amazing
Truly could not be happier with Ashley and her amazing photography skills. Even though I lived in a different state for most of my wedding planning, Ashley was accommodating and available whenever I had questions. From the start, Ashley understood what I wanted in my photos and never waivered from my ideas. Ashley is so personable and fun it felt like I was working with a friend. Since she is such a great planner, we were able to capture all the photos we wanted and even have extra time with friends and family. Her photos exceeded my expectations and I will forever be grateful I was able to have her capture my favorite day. -

Lighthearted photographer delivers light, magical, and romantic photographs
Ashley photographed our wedding in August of 2021. We absolutely loved how our photos turned out and had a hard time choosing which ones to put on our walls. Ashley gave us great advice on other vendors, timelines for the day of the wedding, and tips to make the day go smoothly. She kept us all on time and we actually ended up being ahead of schedule. She was able to corral our large family and make sure everyone got the pictures they wanted. It absolutely down poured on our wedding day but I never once worried because of Ashley. She scoped out beautiful locations to take pictures under cover while it was raining. In fact, some of my favorite pictures have rain in the background. And we lucked out and got almost all of our family/bridal party portraits outdoors! We loved taking engagement photos and having her at our wedding so much that we took family portraits with our new puppy a few months after our wedding. Ashley is always a delight to work with and I’m sure we will call her up again in the future. :) Thank you Ashley! We love you!! -

Absolutely Amazing from Beginning to End!!
Ashley the most talented photographer and businesswoman. She is in constant communication with you from the beginning engagement photos to your big day! She captured our day so perfectly and was so personable with our guests that everyone loved her by the end of the night! Ashley met with us on a virtual call after I inquired on her website. She was super kind as well as knowledgeable and professional. Speaking with her felt easy, almost like we were already friends. We felt very comfortable with her. My husband and I hadn't taken professional photos before except for one time with a photographer that didn't capture us right. I was nervous before the engagement session but working with Ashley felt easy. Even though I hate taking pictures, she was able to get us to relax and take some amazing photos! Initially, I was very worried about our pictures because of my anxiety around them but Ashley made us both feel comfortable for our portraits and getting ready photos. This was the best I could have hoped for! Ashley also helped us to plan out our schedule for the day and was really helpful creating our list of must have photos. Ashley made herself available via her cell and her email. She had very easy to use tools for communication as well as easy to use planning tools. I was very impressed with her knowledge of wedding planning as well. She was able to communicate with our wedding day coordinator and help to plan out our day and made it run 10 times smoother! She also was able to get our sneak peak photos to us by the time we got back from our honeymoon - Even in the middle of one of her busiest seasons! I would recommend her to anyone looking for stunning, bright, vibrant and beautifully colored photos. But she is so much more than those incredible photos! -

Ashley went above and beyond (literally) to capture our engagement pictures, wedding pictures, and wedding video. For our engagement pictures Ashley hiked to the top of a mountain with us so she could capture the beautiful mountains in our engagement pictures. Throughout the wedding planning process, Ashley offered many tips to help make planning easier (blog posts, instagram posts, etc). When COVID-19 came around, Ashley was there to support us and help us make decisions. We were able to have our wedding as planned where Ashley worked her magic and captured not only beautiful pictures of our day, but also a beautiful and well put together video. We are so thankful that we will have these pictures and videos to look back on. Ashley is very friendly and easy going; therefore, she's fun to work with! Ashley is also extremely organized when it comes to planning out your wedding day timeline to make sure she captures all the pictures on your "must have" list! I highly recommend Ashley for all of your photography needs. She has a true talent and I cannot wait to work with her again when it comes time for holiday mini-sessions or family portraits! -

Ashley was incredible! With COVID, my husband and I changed our wedding plans and decided to have a small ceremony earlier than our intended wedding day. We wanted to have a photographer to capture the small celebration, but we were less than 4 weeks out from the ceremony date and it felt impossible to find a photographer on such short notice. After many referrals we found Ashley and she was available! She was professional, responsive, and flexible with meeting our needs the entire process leading up to our ceremony. She was extremely efficient with getting all the shots and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The album is gorgeous and captured our emotions so well. We couldn't have imagined the day without Ashley being there to help share our story. I definitely recommend going with her! -

You. Guys. There are no words. Ashley is the best photographer hands down and I am SO thankful we decided to go with her for our wedding. Words cannot describe how amazingly talented Ashley is. She seriously goes above and beyond at her job. She was so easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to all my questions. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was super stressful and Ashley was so supportive the whole time. She became more than just my photographer. She shared great advice and helpful tips to make the day go smoothly. The day of the wedding, she showed up on time and fit right in with me and my family. She is such a natural at making you feel comfortable and I felt as though I have known her for years. I could talk forever and I haven't even gotten to the pictures yet. We had a mini destination wedding with no one to recommend local vendors, caterers, great photographers, etc… We found Ashley Eagleson using Wedding Wire and from the moment of clicking on her website I already knew I loved her style and personality. Her love for natural light photography was tangible. She is friendly and gets the job done by catching every moment you won’t want to be missed, along with feeding you poses so no time is wasted.
Ashley arrived at our venue earlier than we paid her for and assessed the venue. During our wedding she gave us a sneak peak of about 20 photos and I just about screamed. And before we were back from the honeymoon we had the entire edited wedding galllery in our inbox.
I strongly encourage you to use Ashley Eagleson Photography if you want your photographer to be both friendly and efficient. She is exactly who she markets herself to be! Our last words to her on our wedding day were “thank you and you are worth SO MUCH MORE than you charge”.

My husband and I often find ourselves saying "We love our photographer -- she was such a great find!" when asked about our wedding planning. Ashley's work speaks for itself: she has a real talent for capturing peoples' personalities and the spirit of the moment, as well as setting up beautiful compositions.
What you can't see in her photos is how wonderful she is to work with. Ashley is mature, genuine, professional and fun -- just the type of presence you want surrounding you on your wedding day. My husband and I felt completely comfortable with Ashley and had a lot of fun with her at both our engagement shoot and wedding.
Ashley is also incredibly efficient. Spending time with our guests versus a long photo shoot was very important to us. We were amazed with the number of great shots she can get in a short amount of time. Many of our guests commented on how friendly Ashley was and how her photos really captured the spirit of the day. Thank you Ashley for being such a great partner and for capturing our relationship and wedding so beautifully! -
