  Ashley was onsite as a photographer for a wedding at my venue this past weekend. She was easy going, great to work with, and fantastic with the clients! She did a great job of working with the bride and groom to take photos (even outside in 25 degree December weather) and helped keep everything on time! If you are looking for a vendor that makes a wedding day run smooth, this is your girl! Looking forward to hopefully working together in the future!

  Ashley Berry is THE photographer to have! We had both worked with her in a wedding we were in for some family members a while ago, and even as a bridesmaid I loved her work. So when my time came to be a bride, I didn't even look anywhere else. Her eye for detail is incredible, she's warm and kind and professional. It felt like we were working with a friend the whole time. During the wedding day our wedding party was running late from getting ready and I was getting a little nervous since our photography contract with her only lasted a few hours, but she completely calmed me down and reassured me she would keep us on time and never made me feel like she was going to rush out the minute her scheduled time was done. She was great in a chaotic environment, and kept her cool when things got hectic (like my entire family wanting to take pictures in the middle of the reception). Overall, I would recommend her to anyone who is seriously looking for a quality photographer. She really just loves her work and will make you feel as special as you should feel on your big day. 5 stars from this bride!

  Ashley Berry is an absolutely brilliant photographer and was so much fun to work with! When we first reached out to Ashley about doing our wedding photography, she responded very quickly and we set up a coffee date. In person she was witty, personable, and incredibly attentive to our wants and opinions. The package we chose included engagement pictures and we had so much fun—Ashley brought a ton of ideas to the table and was very good at using our surrounding in ways I never would have thought of. Up to the wedding itself she had fantastic communication, and any questions I had were answered promptly. I know we weren’t her only clients but it sure felt like it! On the day of our wedding, Ashley perfectly balanced giving direction with just letting moments happen naturally. Every single picture from that day is so genuine and truly captures all the emotions in that moment. She made sure we got all the pictures we wanted and had many great ideas for additional shots that had me thinking, “wow, that’s perfect for us!” I have had SO MANY compliments from family and friends now that we have all the photos back, and I can’t help but shout Ashley’s name from the rooftops because she is absolutely fantastic, start to finish. If you’re thinking about meeting with Ashley to see if she’s a good fit for what you’re looking for, DO IT!   Ashley was outstanding! She worked with us for our engagement session and for our wedding day. She is so talented and took some incredible photos. In addition to her natural talent, she is so professional, kind, accommodating and warm. Easy to speak to and makes you feel like the priority. I would definitely recommend her! We had a blast working with her.

  First, the stuff I'd want to know right away:
  
  Planning and coordination — We met with Ashley a few times and talked about what we were looking for. She gave us her thoughts and experience on what she'd seen that had worked well or not so well, and we came up with a mutual plan. She is a great listener, thoughtful, and very easy to work with. We felt completely comfortable during all of it, and felt total trust in her.
  
  Day of — She arrived exactly when she said she would. She was very calm, very friendly, very professional. She struck a perfect balance of being a fly on the wall and capturing the sort of documentary-style photos we were looking for, but also connecting with everyone there and being very much a part of what was going on. Again, total trust. Never once had to worry about photos for a minute.
  
  Now for the fun details, the ones that make me smile whenever I remember the day:
  
  My wife and I had a very small ten-person out in the middle of the woods on my parents' property, using their house to get ready beforehand. Ashley documented the whole day for us, from me heading out to the path to hang lanterns from the trees; to my mother-in-law and mother helping my wife get ready in the master bedroom; to our good friend helping each of us figure out what to do with our hair; to me trying to get my bow tie tied correctly; to the walk out into the woods; to the moment I saw my wife for the first time that day as she walked into the clearing with her mom and dad on each arm; to the ceremony around the fire; to the celebration in the house afterwards; to dinner at Corner Table; to ice-skating at the Minneapolis Depot. And laughing. So much laughing and smiling.
  
  The photos that we have from that day are perfect. We've gone back and looked at them countless times since then. The candid interactions that she captured that day truly tell the visual story of our wedding day, which is exactly what we wanted.

  Ashley is amazing! She captured amazing photos without being obtrusive. And she is so personable and wonderful. By the end of the wedding she had made friends with everyone. I also really appreciated her expertise and help in planning the day and when, where, and how they would fit in. Book her, just do it. You won't be disappointed!
