When I sent in an inquiry to Ashley Baxter Photography, Ashley responded right away! She was super helpful immediately. We changed the time of my ceremony so we would have the perfect lighting for when we said I do. I dont know how to plan a wedding but with ashley’s help it was a lot easier and she is truly talented! -

We hired Ashley based on the wonderful work we saw on her listing. We had a small wedding in April of this year. We went with the silver package that we should have had the originals plus so many edited photos. She was late because she got lost. She had an assistant with her she was teaching. All of our photos are over exposed, harsh shadowing, hot spots, and not in focus. It took us almost 4 months to get our photos. I had to message her over and over again to even get a handful. My husband got involved and she finally responded. More images were uploaded but major events and family photos were not in the photos sent. After a bad review she finally responded to the emails. Tried to make things right. Nothing was ever done and she quit responding to emails and attempts to contact her. After further looking into her, I don’t believe she was our actual photographer. The woman pictured on the site is not who showed up. She represented herself as “Ashley” though. I am greatly disappointed because we have no usable photos from our special day. Be weary. -

We had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this photographer. She arrived late to our wedding ceremony, which started the day off on the wrong foot. She was not personable or communicative throughout the process, and follow-up after the wedding was even worse. We were promised our edited images within six weeks, but they took nine, and during that time, she ignored multiple emails and messages asking for updates.
When we finally received the photos, many were out of focus, poorly framed, and extremely overexposed. Crucial moments, like shots of our rings and the cake cutting, were completely missing. Out of the 75 images we initially received, only 7 appeared edited, despite our package promising fully edited photos. She eventually sent 60 more “edited” images, but the quality was still far below expectations.
We also paid for a USB drive containing all original files as part of our package, and to this day, we’ve never received it. She has since cut off all communication. The images we received look nothing like what’s shown on her website or social media, which now feels misleading. Overall, she seemed very inexperienced, and the quality of work did not match what was promised.
This was one of the most important days of our lives, and we’re heartbroken that the memories were not properly captured. I would strongly caution others before booking.
