  Brittany at Ashe B is amazing! She was friendly and warm, she had great input as I tried on the dresses, and she gave me suggestions for how I could customize the dresses I was looking at to be exactly what I wanted. Everything about this experience was what I envisioned--friendly, fun, inviting, intimate. And it felt like a celebration, like I was the center of attention. It was nice to see a stylist who was invested in my vision and my special day, and who genuinely got excited to see me in dresses. I had two other bridal appointments that day and neither the quality and choice of dresses nor the service compared with Brittany and Ashe B. I went back the next day and ordered my dress! She popped champagne for my best friend and me and we talked for 2.5 hours. I would suggest this shop to any bride in the Philly area!

  I loved my experience here! It was the first boutique I went to in search of the perfect wedding dress, and none of the rest compared. You will love it here! The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and so sweet. They have a lot of variety in the style of dresses, and I had so much fun trying them on. There was no pressure, and Brittany was so friendly and knowledgeable. I came in with no idea of what I wanted, and she quickly understood my style and what would look best on my body. She answered all of my questions and then some through emailing, and was prompt in getting back to me. I hope to be back soon when it's time for my sister and friends to find THE dress for them! And okay, I'll admit that I want to go back for the delicious treats that were offered too ;)

  My mom and I had the best experience shopping at this lovely boutique in Manayunk! While I didn't find my dress here, I had the best time shopping with Beth and Brittany. I will definitely be spreading the word for this fun, laid back, unique bridal shop!

  Wow! What a wonderful experience. My sister planned the day for my mom, my aunt, her and myself. Upon arriving to this cute boutique wedding dress shop, I saw my best friend sitting inside. What a special surprise. Tears, tears, tears! Brittany was in on the secret and made my bestie feel comfy and welcome while she waited for us to arrive.
  
  When I got there I felt a little awkward as I'd never tried on wedding dresses and still couldn't really believe this was happening. Not that getting married part, but I just felt a little uncomfortable. Brittany reassured me that this it was normal to feel this way and that there was no pressure at all. She let me know I could try on as many dresses as I wanted and reminded me to just have fun. I was initially skeptical about the dresses as I am a bigger girl and also tall. Brittany pinned and clipped all over the place and made every dress feel great even though they didn't actually fit. She helped me get in and out of each gown with ease. I was relieved and impressed!
  
  The back area was gorgeous with beautiful curtains, vintage decor and a huge mirror. There were seats for my crew that came with me and coffee, water and cookies! We had such a good time with tons of laughs and a few tears sprinkled in.
  
  I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting to find anything as it was my first time going out. To my surprise I found THE dress. It makes me smile just thinking about how it made me feel in it. So perfect and so me. Brittany really took the time to find out what kind of wedding vibes I wanted and where I hoped it would take place. She made sure to point out details that I should think about and helped me visualize the alterations I could make to each dress.
  
  I'm so happy my sister found Ashe B. & Co. We had such a unique, intimate, and wonderful experience thanks to Brittany and her mom. If you're looking for a dress, do yourself a favor and stop here first!

  I feel so grateful for Brittany and the staff at Ashe B! Only two months before my wedding, I stopped by this lovely, vintage haven on Main St with a unique request for a birdcage veil. I had searched every Etsy shop and consulted with four millineries in New York for the perfect veil, and I went to Ashe B feeling a bit discouraged but hopeful. Fortunately, they fit me in for an appointment for an Olia Zavozina trunk show. Ashe B works with independent designers, and my experience with Olia was simply perfect. She made me a custom birdcage veil with dramatic pleating and beautiful netting; the price was reasonable and within my budget. When I picked up the veil a week or so before the wedding, Brittany was as excited as I was, and she made me feel like a total queen. Brittany is a sweet-hearted, creative, and lovely lady who knows exactly what you're looking for even when you can't put words to it. If you're looking for a dress or accessories that go beyond tradition and are totally unique, go to Ashe B!!

  I didn't end up buying my dress at Ashe B. & Co., but I did have a wonderful experience shopping here. The selection is small, but I really liked it - there was a mix of different styles & prices ranges, and the selection here is definitely more unique than most dress shops (although there were some traditional styles as well). Brittany's customer service was amazing! She was very knowledge, helpful & patient -- she let me take as much time as I wanted, and wasn't pushy.

  First off let me say Ashe B and Co was the most beautiful bridal shop I visited while searching for my dress. The decor and ambiance is amazing and really shows how much the owner, Britt Ashe, cares about what she does. I came into the shop wth my sister/MOH and mother looking for a Kelly Faetanini bridesmaid dress for my sister and instead I left with a Kelly Faetanini wedding dress. Britt and her mom Beth were so helpful and kind while we looked around their shop and tried on the gown. The vibe in their store was so different from the other bridal shops I visited, which were much bigger and very chaotic. I really felt like Britt cared about helping me find my perfect dress and I definitely found it! Thank you Ashe B and Co ladies for being the best!!!

  If your looking for a unique dress this is the place to shop! They are very professional and considerate. Have been to a few bridal salons, they have the best customer service by far. Check it out!

  I shopped at Ashe B in November of 2016 at her Truvelle trunk show. The experience was phenomenal: Brittany was so chill and welcoming! The shop is so cute and eclectic and she let me shop and try on dresses for as long as I needed. I chose a custom Truvelle gown, paid her my deposit and left the store with my contract. Brittany told me to expect my dress in July or August of 2017. No big deal, my wedding is in April of 2018.
  Mid-August arrived and I hadn’t heard from Brittany so I called her store and left a message. I didn’t get a response so I emailed her. She finally called me back and told me that Truvelle had exploded in popularity and had pushed the ship date of my dress out to the beginning of October. She claimed she had accidentally forgotten to email me in the spring along with the other affected brides.
  End of October arrived and I hadn’t heard from her, so I called again. She told me the dress was still delayed, but that she had an exact ship date of November 7 and it would definitely be here by the 14. I called her throughout the week of the 14, left messages and didn’t hear back from her. After researching reviews on several wedding sites and Facebook, I found a handful of other women who said they had never gotten their dresses from her.
  With the help of Truvelle and another bride who struggled with Brittany, I learned that Brittany hadn’t ordered my dress until September 8 of this year! 3 weeks after she told me it was coming but delayed and 10 months after I had ordered it and given her my deposit! Ashe B has such a dismal ordering history with Truvelle, she isn’t allowed to carry or sell their gowns anymore (which she still has samples of in the store).
  Luckily, I have a long engagement, and she was shamed at some point into ordering my dress. Luckily Truvelle is an amazing company that worked with me to figure this out. Some brides might not be as lucky. Please be aware of this before ordering your wedding dress from Ashe B

  It pains me to have to write this review, but I don’t want any other bride to experience the stress that I did ordering my dress from Ashe B. & Co. Trying on dresses went great- she has a nice selection and it was a fun experience. However, after ordering my dress back in November, it was hell to actually get it in. I contacted Brittany multiple times over the course of months asking when my dress would come in. I was initially told to expect the dress in May. May came and went, so I reached out to Brittany via e-mail. No response, so I called. And called. And called. I finally got ahold of someone (not Brittany, but someone who worked in a shop a few stores down who was taking her calls for some reason) and was told that it would be in in July. Okay, not ideal for a September wedding, but I’ll survive. July came and went and still no dress! I called so many times and was never answered, so I went into the store in person. I went in probably two times before I got my dress. I even reached out to the designer of my dress, who provided me with the information that Brittany had not put in the order until July! I paid for it in November! The designer told me that they had to rush the order so that it would come in time for my wedding. A few weeks from the wedding, the dress actually came in. Brittany blamed the designer for the whole ordeal, which I originally believed. But, after seeing that other brides have gone through a very similar experience, I’m assured that it was Brittany. DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS HERE! It either will never come (as per the experience of other brides) or you will have to stalk her until she actually orders it for you. I am lucky that it actually came in, otherwise I would have been stuck without a wedding dress.

  Horrendous experience, abysmal customer service and the dress delivered was different than the one I tried on and selected. Instead of ordering the dress a size larger as agreed upon, it came in two sizes smaller. This wasn't the worst part, it was a different dress with different fabric, different seams, different corset. All of this was easily demonstrated by a side by side comparison of a picture of what we bought and what was delivered. However, the store owners denied the differences and insulted my mother for bring them up--only after our wedding planner called the store because Ashe B wasn't returning emails or phone calls (two weeks before our wedding). In the end, we cut off the top of the sample dress and had it sewen on to the bottom of the dress we paid for. So, we paid $3k for half a sample dress and a lot of stress.

  My fiancé owns a small business down the street from Ashe B & Co, so it pains me to write this review but I do not want another bride to have to go through the massive stress that I went through the week before Christmas. I went to the shop in May to try on dresses, wanting to support other small business in Manayunk and I fell in love with the atmosphere and every dress I tried on. Brittany was great. I ordered my dress then and there and paid a 60% deposit. The dress was supposed to come in November. When November came around I wasn’t worried that I hadn’t heard from her, so I waited a couple weeks and emailed Brittany mid-December. No response. When I looked up the phone number, I saw the reviews from other brides and started to panic. I called Brittany only for the phone to ring incessantly or to go to a disconnected voicemail. I immediately emailed the designer to see if my order had been placed and continued to try to call Ashe B & Co (no responses, ever.). The designer eventually confirmed my fears and the dress was never ordered. Luckily, they were going to take care of it for me, I just needed to get my money back. The next day, my fiancé and I walked down to the shop to see if she was there and found her next door. She immediately recognized my fiancé and refunded the money. I am not confident that we would’ve gotten our money back if we were not there in person, seeing as she never responded to calls or emails. I urge all current brides to reach out to Brittany and their designer to make sure their dress is on the way! I hope no other bride has to go through this headache before their big day.
  
  TL;DR My dress was never ordered after 7+ months and I had to go through the designer.

  Stay AWAY from Brittany and Ashe B. & Co. She is a thief. I drove in to Philly from Pittsburgh, PA last summer specifically to try on a Truvelle gown. Brittany was not in town, but we were helped by her friend Nicole, who was awesome at the time.
  
  I tried on the gown, confirmed it was the one I wanted, and paid a 60% deposit on it. We decided that I would send in my measurements in early 2018 (I am getting married in 2019) and place the order with the designer at that time.
  
  Meanwhile, I emailed Truvelle on my own to request a swatch of my gown, and received an urgent call from their staff. They mentioned Brittany had been taking brides money, and not ordering their gowns at all. Truvelle had ended their relationship with Ashe B & Co months ago, and refused to work with her anymore. Brittany STILL has Trvuelle samples in her store that she lets brides try on and pay for. Multiple brides have been scammed, and Truvelle urged me to call and get my money back and place my order directly to them.
  
  After multiple phone calls, messages, and e-mail, I have not received my money back, and now, her voicemail is disconnected. Thousands of dollars have been stolen by her.
  
  I Facebook messaged some brides who have left reviews with experiences similar to mine, and they all warned me to buy elsewhere, and kiss my deposit goodbye. They have been contacted by dozens of brides who are victims of Brittany's scamming and theft. I am adding my account to help other brides avoid this boutique at all costs.

  Do not buy your dress here. She will not order it and make up absurd stories about it not being her fault. Good luck trying to get your money back when no one answers the phone or emails. Shady beyond words and SO MUCH STRESS.

  My experience with Ash B & Co. was the worst experience I've ever had with a business in my entire life. I found out 4 weeks before my wedding that the dress I paid for 4 months prior was never ordered. The owner lied to me time and time again, the details of which are almost to outrageous to believe. The dresses in the shop are just lovely, but I assure you brides, you do not want to do business with this highly unethical owner. I would never want anyone else to go through what I just went through. Happy wedding planning!
