The Ash to Oak team exceeded my wildest dreams. They truly listened to my vision and brought it to life in a way that was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Throughout the entire process, they were responsive, collaborative, and incredibly thoughtful. There was nothing simple about my palette choice from the beginning. I chose a Dutch Masters painting of delicate flowers with deep dark color contrasts to design from. Ask to Oak hit it out of the park from our first meeting. They immediately understood the delicate flowers I was hoping for and the demanding design elements. There were delightful, easy going and creative, weighing in on all design aspects from chairs to tablecloths to lighting. The attached pictures will not even do justice to how absolutely extravagant and magnificent the flowers were. We lost our breath when we walked into the ballroom. The questions that immediately came to mind was - are we at a wedding for the Rockefellers?! The talk of the evening and the following wedding breakfast and beyond was centered on the flowers. From the welcome party flowers to the wedding arch to the ballroom - every venue was uniquely elegant. Dramatic. Gorgeous. Extravagant. Delicate yet bold. Works of Art. This team does not skimp on presentation and beauty! The floral arch was built onsite and as various guests peaked in on the process they were in awe. The team was thoughtful enough to put the lower arrangements into reusable containers for the the wedding breakfast and boy were the guest delighted to be able to take those home! Breathtaking. Beyond our Greatest expectations (and our expectations were big!)! We cannot say enough about this team and how gifted they are. Stop reading this review and hire them if they are not already booked! -

Working with Avery and her team for our a la carte order was a dream. They captured my vision for warm fall colors for bouquets, table vases and pedestal vases, and their creativity in choosing textures and nuancing colors blew me away. I still go back and look at the pictures of my bouquet. :) -

Ash to Oak captured our vision perfectly! The flowers for our rehearsal dinner were gorgeous and were done in a way that they could easily be moved and serve double duty for the welcome party! I am so grateful for this duo team who was so easy to work, delivered a beautiful product, and made our staff end of year celebration extremely special. We had a few simple requests like buds for cocktail tables and a few more complex and unique requests like floral for a custom welcome box and ground floral for an awards wall. People were stunned and impressed by their work and we received several compliments and MULTIPLE requests for their contact information - even by our seasoned catering team who works with many vendors throughout the year. I am so excited to continue to work with them as we plan and prepare for upcoming events this school year and grateful for the added support they offered for a non-profit organization. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Ash to Oak for our August wedding, and they completely exceeded our expectations! They fabulously incorporated dark reds with light pinks and greenery into our floral arrangements, creating a stunning and romantic atmosphere. Avery and Nikki were so lovely to work with. In figuring out our proposal, I appreciated Avery’s flexibility and creativity to help bring our inspiration of a “cotton candy sunset” to life - from flower clouds to bar puffs - within our budget. Avery and her team were incredible to work with - her quote from the beginning was thorough, helped us budget and also included photos of the 'style' we were going for which was so helpful to confirm we were on the same page. Then she made it easy to tweak as we went along (adding flowers in different places and taking away in others).
We had a very tight turn at our venue after another event and she was able to navigate that so well working with the other teams setting up the tables while the previous group was packing out.
Her aesthetic is lovely, she is wonderful to work with and she helped create a lovely ceremony and reception for us. I couldn't recommend her more! -

An amazing experience!
What an amazing experience working with Avery and the Ash to Oak team! From our very first meeting, Avery was professional, kind, and clearly very knowledgeable about wedding florals. She took our minimal suggestions and created a beautiful design that was exactly what we’d envisioned. The communication throughout the planning process was easy and she made modifications as requested and worked with us around our budget to make sure we still got what we wanted.
The florals day of the wedding were so beautiful and exactly as we had discussed early in the planning stages! The team that delivered the bouquets, set up the gorgeous ceremony arch, and table settings were professional, talented, and did everything with a huge smile that made the day even that more special. We appreciate the care and effort that went into creating the floral pieces!

Avery / Ash To Oak are the best!
Avery and team did all the floristry for our wedding and we cannot be more thankful for her beautiful work. I contacted Avery about 2 months prior to our wedding in a crunch. She came across extremely professional and responsive. I was nervous as our venue had previously not worked with her, but as I got to know her better, I knew she'd be the perfect florist for our wedding. First, she is the best communicator I've worked with. Her response time is usually within an hour and she is calm and professional. Second, she is a true artist. Our wedding flowers were beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Finally, she is just a professional. She shows up on time, and delivers on her promises. I cannot recommend Ash to Oak more! -

Pros at Making Your Wedding Vision Come to Life
Choosing Ask to Oak as my wedding florist was the best decision I made! I cannot recommend them enough. They were able to make my wedding vision come to life so easily. In our first meeting I explained what style I was going for and they got my vision right away and were able to translate it so seamlessly into my florals. Avery and her team are artists and really know how to interpret your vision and bring it to life! The florals on my wedding day were everything I wanted and more. Additionally, they were so responsive and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I knew I could count on them and I didn't have any stress or worries about how the florals would turn out. I was considering a few different florists and I'm truly so glad I went with Ash to Oak - I couldn't imagine going another way! -

Avery and team were the absolute best vendor to work with! From our first introductory calls, Avery worked with us to understand our vision and went above and beyond with us to brainstorm ways to incorporate those elements into our budget. She helped troubleshoot other aspects of our decor, too, in order to truly turn our ideas into life! Our overall design was both earthy and elegant that truly created the whimsical, yet sophisticated vibe we were aiming for. Classic and elegant florals with a modern industrial twist
Avery and her team were an absolute delight to work with! She masterfully executed our vision of clean, white florals with lots of accompanying greenery that brought warmth to our industrial warehouse venue.
Avery provided lots of options to comment on during the proposal process to ensure that she had a clear sense of what we were hoping to see. She went above and beyond in creating our asymmetric arch that served as backdrop for the ceremony and reception.

Avery and her team absolutely knocked it out of the park with my wedding florals. Avery was sweet, responsive, flexible. I had tears in my eyes when I walked into my reception space, and I saw my vision come to life for the first time. My bridal bouquet was absolutely stunning. The greenery garlands on my sweetheart table and farm tables were lush. The hanging greenery from the bistro lights were just amazing. I cannot recommend this florist enough. We worked with Avery and Ash to Oak for our wedding this October. Avery was incredible to work with every step of the way. She was extremely accommodating and supportive when we had to move our wedding from 2020 to 2021. She was open to all of our recommendations , very responsive, and had a great eye for design. She was able to incorporate perfect colors for our fall wedding. She was also able to do an absolutely stunning 100 ft greenery piece in our tent. Gorgeous flowers and great service!
Working with Avery at Ash to Oak for my wedding flowers was an amazing experience! The consultation was well worth it, as I was able to connect with Avery and she made sure my vision was captured in her work. I was referred to Ash to Oak by a friend, and could quickly tell that Avery had the aesthetic I was looking for. She was quick to respond to any questions I had and worked within my budget. I ended up going with the petite bridesmaid bouquets, but as you can see from the pictures, they were still a great size! I am in love with the photos (courtesy of Micah Cook Photography LLC), the way the flowers blended with the greenery outside and my bridesmaid's dresses. Avery was a large part in making my wedding the dream it was! Would highly recommend her services. -

We loved the flowers from Ash to Oak! Avery was willing to work with us on a custom package that included my beautiful bridal boutique and groom's boutineer. Avery was able to pull together many colors incorporated in the wedding palate well as unique flower requests. 110% recommend Ash to Oak. I didn't start out with a very clear vision for my wedding-day florals aside from a few specific elements, but Avery and Anna met with me early in the planning process to get to know me, my style, and my & my fiance's hopes for the day. Please note I did NOT give zero stars because without her I would not have had any flowers on my wedding day. I write this review in hopes to encourage brides to be as clear and communicate with their florists EXACTLY what they want so they can avoid the mistakes that were made. I sent Avery photos of everything I wanted for my Fairytale Wedding. I understand that you cannot 100% replicate a photo but hoped that it would somewhat look like what we discussed.
To begin: my bouquet was to be something "wild", I had fallen in love with photos of bouquets with ivy dripping down; she even noted it on our proposal. Day of: no ivy. It was also not wrapped properly and I pricked myself twice holding it.
My sisters bouquet was to be a tribute to my mothers bouquet. Light pink roses with babys breath cascading down. Day of: the pink was maybe more of a coral- which didnt match anything else, the flowers were wilted and there was no cascade to them.
The boutonnieres looked all the same (but were priced differently) and were very difficult to pin on due to a fragile pin.
The biggest disappointment were the babys breath along the aisle. Per the photo I sent her I was hoping for bushes yet received mini stumps at barely a foot high. I mentioned this in my follow up email: if she had told me that the only way they could be arranged was to stick them in flower foam I wouldve considered other options. Understandably it was a lot of work, however for $100 each I wouldve much rather explored other options to save her both time and my budget.
I had thanked her at the end of the night because I knew it was the proper thing to do regardless of how disappointed I was. Our flower budget was small but I still do not feel as if we truly got what we paid for. I did reach out to her afterwards and expressed my frustrations but was told that I was "stunning", that they actually took some of the cost of the babys breath stumps because of how much work it was and that she was confused because I had thanked her the night of the wedding. (I didnt realize that I had to throw a fit on the day of in order to be taken seriously.)
Again I ultimately hope that this encourages brides to have an open communication with their florists and be as SPECIFIC as possible. Although I was disappointed overall, I still wish Avery and her team continuous success and hope they can learn from this as well. -
