Absolutely invaluable to making the day perfect!

AJ was an integral part of making this day a success! He showed up early, read the crowd perfectly, kept the wedding flowing smoothly and on track for the schedule we provided and was extraordinary at keeping the crowd engaged and having fun! The bride & groom were so grateful for his help keeping them focused and calm so they could enjoy the day. Thank you SO much again! We highly recommend for any event that you want to be better than imagined!!!

Dj aj is the best!

Dancing and music was a big deal to me at our wedding. DJ AJ was incredibly professional, communicative, and detail oriented. He called to make sure we were on the same page prior to our day. He texted my Dad to keep our dances a surprise. He even snapped some amazing candid shots during the ceremony. I told him music was an important part of the day and he did not disappoint. Hire him or his team, you will not regret it!

We hired AJ Snow with Ascend Entertainment for my daughter's wedding and he was absolutely PHENOMENAL from start to finish! He was personable, helpful and professional throughout every step of the process. AJ and his photo booth attendant brought the party and kept it going all night. His energy, song selections, and lightning effects were absolutely perfect. The photo booth was a highlight of the reception and the digital photos are a hilarious memories we will charish for years to come. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Best Ever!!!

I cannot say enough great things about AJ! From the moment I reached out to him he was so nice, very quick responding, answered all of my questions and gave us a great deal!!! He is an awesome DJ but also fixed my dress right before I walked down the isle and gave me a little pep talk!!! If you need a dj look no further!!! He is amazing and such a nice guy!!!

Magical Evening

Absolutely loved our experience with Ascend Entertainment! Brandon was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better music for the night. It rained on our wedding day and he was so accommodating and still made the night so special for us. The whole process was so easy, from the online planning website to the actual evening. Definitely would recommend Ascend Entertainment for any future events!

Pulled our wedding off with 24 hours notice!

AJ not only saved the day for us he was so fun and entertaining!! Our wedding plans were destroyed due to COVID-19, but long story short, the week of the wedding we found a venue that was able to have us safely and we were able to have a small ceremony. The DJ we had hired last year was available but then had to back out two days before the wedding. In an amazing stroke of luck AJ Snow got back to us within hours and agreed to help us out after hearing our story! We met on the phone once and then the day of he checked on us throughout the night to make sure we knew what was coming and that we were comfortable. You would never have known we were not planning with AJ for months! He went above and beyond what we were expecting in terms of entertainment and hosting the event. Most importantly we were able to relax and enjoy our big day after months of stress knowing AJ had everything handled. Even if you’re not getting married during a pandemic, he definitely lives up to his “most requested DJ in Charleston” title!

Dept. Christmas Party

We used AJ with Ascend Entertainment when our regular DJ of 20 years was not able to make it to the MUSC Pathology Christmas party. Luckily AJ was available and was a life saver to us! He really knows how to get the crowd going and it ended up being the best decision ever! he's so sweet and really knows how to work an event of 400 people! :)

AJ did an outstanding job at our event! His professionalism was stellar. His ability to read the room and get guests out on the floor was exceptional. DJ AJ amazing

Everyone was on the dance floor all night and that wouldn’t have been possible without AJ! He did a phenomenal job choosing songs for all age groups and keeping the energy high. So many guest have come up to me and said how wonderful the music was and how much fun they had. Not only did he do a great job with our wedding he was kind and very professional. We would highly recommend him in the future!

AJ and his team are amazing! he answered every email very promptly and was a joy to work with. Brandon kept the party going and the music was just what we wanted. They were wonderful to work with. We also rented uplighting and a photo booth through them. both were great and we used the photo booth pictures in our guest book. So many great memories made! Can't say enough great things about AJ and Brandon!

More than “Just a DJ”!!!!

AJ Snow is absolutely OUTSTANDING! From day one of the planning process, he has been quick to respond to all emails and phone calls and incredibly patient with all my questions! He is one of the nicest people around. When the big day finally came, he kept the party alive, dancing, laughing, and having the time of our lives!! We got SO many compliments on his personality, his music selection, and the super fun twist he put on things! Plus he brought a photo booth that our guests REALLY enjoyed and the pictures from that are actually hilarious! He went way above and beyond to make sure I was 130% comfortable and could relax! I honestly believe that AJ Snow is the greatest DJ in the Charleston area! If you hire any other DJ for your wedding you will be missing out on something really special and hundreds of lifelong memories!!!

Best Wedding DJ in Charleston

AJ is the best Wedding DJ in Charleston, hands down!! I booked Ascend Entertainment for a photo booth, uplighting, and DJ services for my wedding last month. I have to admit before my wedding I was stressing because we didn’t have a big guest list (95ish people) and probably only half of them would dance. My husband’s family is super religious and conservative, so I was picturing an empty dance floor the whole night haha. But AJ always kept people on the dance floor. Somehow my 80-year-old Grandma was dancing – I’m not sure how that happened LOL! My sister was complaining that Grandma didn’t dance at her wedding – I said well that’s because you didn’t have AJ! AJ knows what he is doing when it comes to DJ’ing weddings and it shows. He also is amazing to work with – he responds SO quickly to any questions I had throughout the year of communicating with him. He’s also just super nice, friendly, fun, and very professional. He’s literally everything you could want in a Wedding DJ. Book AJ for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

We love aj!

AJ was absolutely AMAZING to work with! He was so supportive throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. He was extremely responsive to all of our messages and made planning so simple. He came to find me while my dress was being bustled and talked me through the entire reception - it was so nice knowing it was all taken care of! We would 100% recommend him!

Excellent!!! Worked with me when I needed 1 more day to double check my selections. AJ was great about double checking details to get everything right but wasn't at all pushy or in my face. We had a wonderful experience with Ascend. AJ was amazing- he was very professional, prompt to answer all emails, and worked diligently with us to create the perfect ambiance for our beach wedding and reception. We struggled to find a DJ in the Charleston area who was familiar with indian music; AJ did an INCREDIBLE job incorporating indian music and provided the perfect balance of both cultures. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire time and and so many guests raved about AJ and his amazing playlist. We are so happy that we booked with Ascend and would highly recommend them.

After hurricane Irma canceled our wedding back in September I was so nervous that I wasn't going to get AJ as our DJ the next go around. We were very fortunate to get AJ the 2nd time. AJ would make phone calls to us or text messages just to check on us. We had very high expectations for our music list because it was so unique considering we had music snobs in our group :) AJ met every expectation and went above and beyond! The photobooth was absolutely amazing and couldn't have been happier!

Thank you so much AJ and Ascend Entertainment for making it our most favorite memorable night to remember.

I cannot say enough positive things about AJ, owner of Ascend. From the very beginning everything about him and his business was on point and top notch. No matter what crazy requests we threw at him he was all over it. He managed to have people on the dance floor even for a middle of the day/light on the alcohol reception. Not to mention being a funny and personable guy. We could not have been happier.

AJ was fantastic from the very beginning when we first met him. He made us very comfortable and introduced us to his online portal where you can drop and drag any songs you like/dislike and input your wedding timeline. He was more than eager to assist us with finding some Filipino songs for us, and he never skipped a beat with having mics at the ready for all the performances. During the wedding he was set up and prepared from the onset, and had his finger on the pulse the entire time. AJ is welcoming, flexible, knowledgeable and professional. I would strongly recommend him to anyone, for any event.

If you book with ascend you will not be disappointed. I cannot imagine any better service than what we got. AJ is so awesome both of my daughters got married this year one on 05/12/17 and then the second one on 10/20/17 and we used AJ both times he keeps the crowd moving and so much fun had both times. He handled all the music they walk down too as well. One venue was Magnolia Plantations and the other was Boone Hall Plantations. I would recommend him to anyone who ask for dj. AJ you are the best!!!!

AJ and Ascend Entertainment SAVED our wedding day!! After having our DJ cancel on us 14 days before our wedding, they came to the rescue!! From the first email conversation with AJ, I knew that he was the DJ that we HAD To have for our wedding day! He was so responsive and willing to do ANYTHING to help! He was pretty much available to me 24/7 to answer any questions I had and to help relieve my stress. I could not have found someone more helpful! Our wedding turned out awesome!! Aj knew exactly what songs to play to keep our guests on the dance floor all night long! Everyone had a blast and he was super fun and professional!! I would totally recommend using Ascend Entertainment for your wedding! :)

Better late than never! Whoops! AJ saved the day after our horrific experience with our original DJ not responding to anything from us! AJ Stepped in and took all the burden and decision making off of me! He was fully prepared to make sure that we had plenty of great music and photo booth ready for our wedding day! When meeting with AJ I instantly knew I could trust him and he was the man for the job! Brandon was our DJ the night of the wedding and he had the dance floor pull from the beginning to the end! AJ and Brandon from Ascend Entertainment are the dynamic duo. From the moment I met AJ I knew we had to have Ascend Entertainment DJ our wedding reception. Both Brandon and AJ made our wedding process very easy as they were prompt in communication, we're super fun and over all a great addition to make our wedding a success. Brandon assisted us with our super secret first dance surprise to make sure the music compilation my husband and I put together could actually play and made sure it sounded good before the big day. They provided a cell phone charging station which all of our guests loved and up lighting which helped tie all of our decor together. I can't thank Ascend enough to keeping that dance floor packed and making our night so special!

AWESOME!!! We were told that AJ / Ascend Entertainment is the best in Charleston, and they were. Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception were perfect. AJ listens to your special requests do's and dont's and follows through! The sound quality was phenomenal. The venue drafted a room plan for where the DJ would go. When I showed the layout to AJ he immediately made changes, as it was important to him that he was set up strategically so the sound would be even throughout the room (ensuring nobody would be blown out from the speakers). He played the perfect music to keep everyone on the dance floor. Choose Ascend Entertainment for your celebration - do not look any further!!

If you want a stress-free DJ, then Ascend Entertainment is your vendor! From day one, we had prompt responses from Ascend. The day of our wedding was perfect! They had all of our guests on the dance floor from 7pm until the end of the night. Everyone was wanting the party to continue!! They definitely know exactly what to do to make your experience as easy as possible. If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have! Thank you for making our wedding the perfect day!!!

Aj was amazing!! He was always quick to respond with any planning questions I had and was open to meeting with me whenever needed to go through how my day was going to flow. The night of my wedding everything was perfect from his energy, to the photo booth props and attendant, and to the music choices. He was awesome !!!! AJ was absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't possibly say enough good things about him. Planning a wedding is beyond stressful but working with AJ was anything but. He went out of his way to make our wedding exactly what we wanted and was beyond accommodating to everything that we needed. Our wedding was one of the best parties our friends have ever been to thanks to him. I wish I could give him 20 stars bc 5 just isn't enough for how much we loved working with AJ and how fantastic he made our wedding. We will be forever grateful.

AJ was awesome! We can't say enough good about him. He met with us and our event planner and was so easy to coordinate with and responsive to emails very quickly especially with it being a destination wedding for us. He kept everything on time and running smoothly. I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone as good as AJ was and at quite a reasonable price! He threw in some light effects and cell phone charging stations for us too which were super great to have! Would give him 10 stars if we could:)

If you book AJ with Ascend Entertainment you won't regret it! We got married 4/23/16 and AJ provided ceremony music, DJ at reception and lighting. He was very professional and responsive to emails and any questions I had, along with helping me create a voiceover for my father/daughter dance which turned out great! He really knew how to make us feel like we were his top priority and that nothing would go wrong on his watch! He had everyone on the dance floor the entire night which is pretty hard to do at most weddings but he played such an array of music that there was something everyone liked at some point throughout the night. If there was more than a 5-star rating he would get it!

AJ Snow was the DJ for our wedding and he far exceeded my expectations. For the ceremony he used the exact songs I requested and got the timing perfectly right for everyone to walk down the aisle. During the reception he not only played music but he continuously prompted my husband and I on where to go and what to do (e.g. it's time to cut the cake, start making your way over there). He's definitely a 5 star vendor, don't think twice about choosing him!

I wish 10 stars was an option for AJ and the whole Ascend experience. I imagine that I was a pretty "high maintenance" bride hosting an out of town wedding, and AJ literally made my life easy and our wedding AMAZING. Quick and sincere responses all the time, a great online portal, and his willingness to completely customize every detail to reflect my husband and I were just the tip of the iceberg for this guy. Our dance floor was packed all the night long and he even customized a surprise father/daughter dance. I had the best experience with Ascend and cannot speak highly enough of this DJ. AJ Snow did not disappoint! He was so responsive to my emails (within an hour, if not within minutes) to any question or request I had. He made it work and really gave us the party we wanted for our guests. We danced the night away and he read the crowd perfectly. I danced so much that I didn’t even want to take my shoes off and take a break. If you want someone who is attentive and really grasps what you need for your day, make sure to book with AJ at Ascend—he is top notch and I am glad I went with my venue’s recommendation!

AJ with Ascend Entertainment was so easy to work with and quick to respond to my emails. My fiance and I made a whole list of songs we wanted to hear, and songs our guests had requested on our RSVP cards, and AJ made sure to play those songs at our wedding. They also provided music, and wireless mics for our ceremony, and played music inside and outside for our cocktail hour. Throughout the night, AJ kept the atmosphere fun and kept people dancing. Our guests loved the music, AJ, and the overall vibe of the night!! Even 2 months after our wedding, our guests are still making comments about how much they loved our DJ! You will not be disappointed with Ascend Entertainment! They are amazing!

AJ was an absolutely amazing DJ at our wedding! I do not live in Charleston so I had to communicate with him through phone and email-- he was always quick to respond and was able to help out with any suggestions I asked him. AJ Snow from Ascend Entertainment was AMAZING! AJ met with us several times before the wedding to discuss the wedding timeline and on the day of he made sure everything ran smoothly. He put so much time and effort into our wedding that he was almost a wedding planner! He quickly responded to our requests via email and his website is super-helpful in planning what songs are to be played at your wedding. AJ and Ascend Entertainment not only cared about rocking the music and keeping the party going but you could tell he also cared about us as clients. He took an extra moment to go over the music and wedding timeline before the big day started just to make sure we knew exactly what was happening. Once the wedding started everything ran smoothly and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had dancing with us. The little things AJ added to the wedding, like phone charging stations for guests and dance floor giveaways, made a perfect wedding somehow even better. We hired Ascend Entertainment because he was recommended to us by a friend and we will do nothing but recommend him to any and everyone getting married or in need of an awesome DJ. I would recommend Ascend Entertainment to anybody that is getting married. Aj Snow did an amazing job with providing excellent service and making my wedding reception amazing. He was flexible esp when I had to change my first dance song due to wedding dress difficulties. He has been the DJ at about 5 of my closest friends and family members weddings, and each one has never been the exact same, he specializes each one.

We made several last minute changes and AJ made me feel completely confident that it would all be done perfectly, and it was! Simply put...AJ is the man!!! If you have the opportunity to use him and don't, you're wrong.

Having a top-notch DJ and party atmosphere was one of the top priorities for my wife and I. We were very adamant that the DJ be the life of the party and show all of our guests an awesome time. AJ and his staff were on top of things from the very start. His responsiveness was incredible, his ability to customize playlists and add party favors for the guests made it one of the best nights ever!

AJ and his staff had to navigate through travel, thunderstorms and sneaky last minute surprises (my badass wife -- surprised me with Sir Purr from the Panthers and her and AJ totally rocked the entrance!). Most wedding vendors try to fit you in their small area of expertise and say that their services are fully customizable, but AJ actually is. More DJs need to take notes from him.

From two people who had very high expectations from this area of our wedding, we were literally blown away at the party atmosphere that he created! PS: the glow sticks were quite the hit and made the pictures look awesome!

There really are not words to describe how amazing AJ and his team at Ascend Entertainment are. I was married on January 3, 2015 -- a time when a lot of DJs probably want to take a breather! -- and AJ never once made me seem like a burden during this busy time. In fact, he went above and beyond to ensure that I had nothing to worry about and he had everything under control. He is prompt, professional, and unendingly encouraging. Every time I saw his name in my email inbox I just knew I was going to smile. My fiance and I were very hands off with the music because we completely trusted AJ to read the environment and give our guests what they wanted, and he did not disappoint. He had our guests dancing all night! In fact, more than once I have had people tell me after the wedding that they wished they had known about AJ whenever they had planned their own event. AJ and his team are truly talented at what they do. They know how to read a crowd, how to choose music for the situation, and how to interact without being intrusive. Ascend Entertainment's client website is superb and easy to use also, which helps you to create a complete guide for them to use for your day. If you're looking for an amazing DJ and someone who you are not going to have to worry about leading up to the day, you really need to check out Ascend Entertainment. My wife(still not used to saying that) and I hired Ascend for our wedding on 9/13/15 and we couldn't have been more pleased! They use this software that lets you pick your songs for everything from the processional to the special dances(i.e. Mother-Son, Father-Daughter), so that we knew that everything would be ready for the big day. The process was really easy(that is important when you have SO many other things going on. AJ was our DJ and he did a phenomenal job. Despite the stellar job our wedding coordinator did, we got off schedule a few times and AJ was there, helping to get us back on track. Everyone said the wedding was amazing and that the music was perfect. I can't thank AJ and Ascend enough for making our special day so memorable and perfect. There is noone else I would even consider recommending for weddings, parties, etc. Ascend is number 1!

WOW! I Dont even know where to begin! AJ is THE BEST guy for any of your wedding needs. He is willing to go the extra mile to make your wedding day as perfect as you imagined. Such a sweet and caring guy, not to mention he was willing to be of service to me for my wedding even though it was at the last minute. I contacted AJ 2-3 days before my wedding after the guy contracted to do my uplighting bailed out on me. Aj drove all the way back from out of town on a business trip with contract in hand and with his equipment ready to go. He is so affordable and even gave a complementary gift on the day of my wedding. YOU WOULD BE CRAZY NOT TO PICK HIM FOR YOUR WEDDING! But don't just take my word for it, see for yourself!:)

AJ and his team rocked our wedding! The whole process was such an easy flow, and AJ was a great communicator. He responded quickly to everything. The ceremony music was just what we wanted, and perfectly timed. All of the first dances blended perfectly! Then he really got the party started, and our guests loved it. There were a lot of neat touches to the reception that we have never seen before, and we loved them. All of our guests also loved the photo booth and we love looking at all of the great pictures in our book. Ascend will be our first call if we ever need a DJ again!

Brandon did such a great job and complete followed my directions on no line dancing at all. A couple of people tried but were denied and loved it! it was a big party atmosphere, which is what I wanted. They did a great job with the outdoor wedding music, it was flawless!

AJ was amazing at our wedding. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He answered all our questions extremely fast which was extremely helpful. He is very laid back and always wants to have a good time, which is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. The music was amazing, we provided some song requests but he also chose songs based on the crowd. There was one point where almost every single person was up and dancing which is exactly what we wanted. He is very dedicated to his business and made sure everything was taken care of the day of the wedding. I highly highly recommend AJ and he also gives very reasonable prices. AJ with Ascend Entertainment was by far one of the most responsive and professional vendors I worked with throughout my wedding planning. I would email him with a question and have an answer within minutes. My husband and I are both active duty military and he really took care of us when it came to upgrading our package. Additionally, we had a few songs that were harder to find, but Ascend was able to find the clips and loop them as needed. The whole night went smoothly, the DJ really had a good handle on the flow, and the dance floor was packed most of the night. He played the best songs at the right time and the night ended on a high...My guests have been raving about how magical the whole event was. I'm so pleased that I'm actually writing this review while on my honeymoon! They are that good!

AJ Snow and Ascend Entertainment were amazing. I couldn't have asked for more. AJ answered all of my questions through out the planning process. I didn't know what music to use as my recessional for the ceremony and he promised that he would take care of it and he did. It was perfect. The 'MC' part of the reception was exactly what we needed. He helped keep everything on time and helped direct the guests to where they needed to go next. The music at the reception was awesome. The dance floor was full all night. Everyone at the wedding had a ton of fun and I know that AJ Snow had a lot to do with it. If you want a fun wedding reception with no worries on your part I would highly recommend AJ Snow and Ascend Entertainment.

Ascend Entertainment did an awesome job on our wedding day. I had no worries- AJ did everything. He kept the party running smoothly had a little something for everyone. AJ did a wonderful job with taking requests, too, from both children and adults. His music library is extensively eclectic, as he was subtle and assertive in directing the tempo of the event. AJ and Ascend Entertainment are the complete package.
We first met AJ in January 2014 when we flew in Charleston to meet our wedding planners, vendors etc and we knew right from the off that we were in safe hands for our wedding in August 2014.
AJ was so enthusiastic from the off and we were able to leave everything to him and his team, including finding us an amazing band for a party after the wedding reception.
Throughout the year, he kept in touch and put together a playlist for the night as well as all the music for before and after the wedding ceremony.
And on the day, it was just perfect – walking down the aisle to Let’s Get Married by the Proclaimers was fantastic!
After the ceremony, AJ really came into his own, playing track after track that got our guests on their feet and introducing the wedding party in such an enthusiastic and fun way.
And it wasn’t just the music that was so good as AJ arranged the garter throw and got everyone clapping and shouting, making it such a fabulously fun night.
AJ is the consummate professional who makes sure everything is done and done brilliantly – leaving the bride and groom free to enjoy their big day and dance the night away.

AJ was an amazing DJ. Him and his team are not only FUN and Exciting but they are professional and Appreciative. From the first phone call to discuss pricing and availability down to a few weeks after the Wedding AJ was top notch and worth every penny. My husband and I searched high a low for a great DJ.. when we spoke to AJ we knew he was the guy. We booked his DJ and photo Booth package... AJ led our wedding night, he chose the songs accordingly, made everyone laugh , got our guests up and dancing and most importantly he made sure the entire night went smooth .. he didn't skip a beat... As for the Photo Booth .. it was a fun attraction and all of my guests used it. The photo booth comes with an assistant who helps people with props, taking the picture and making sure 1 photo goes into a scrap book for the bride and groom - yes AJ provides a scrap book for the photo booth photos and I must say my husband and I had a BLAST looking at these the next day. The best part.. AJ also send a disk of all of the photos that were taken that night in the photo booth just in case someone didn't leave a picture behind. This company mad such an impression on my guests that they even asked him for his business card at the end of the night.. You can tell he is passionate about his career he had a smile from ear to ear that was contagious.

Few things I want to point out. I had a family member start to sing at the wedding ( a very funny song ) but I knew the song was going to last a life time. All i had to do was make eye contact with AJ and he immediately ( very smoothly ) transitioned this family member from signing to watching AJ start the next event.. I didnt have to do anything but look at him and he knew exactly what I was thinking.

Secondly, I left behind some props that were kind of special to me.. AJ grabbed them from the Venue and sent them back to me..

Our DJ from AJ Snow from Ascent is THE MAN! I couldn't tell you how many times in my life I have been told from different vendors and such "I only care about getting you what you want and making sure everything is perfect". AJ is the only one who I can legitimately say meant every word of that. There was not one moment when he told us "oh I'm sorry we unfortunately cant do that..." His response was always "we will find a way to make it work and if it isn't what you ask, it will be an even better replacement". This guy was unbelievable and we couldn't have invested our money any more wisely. I didn't have time to get him a playlist of what we wanted and failed to give him important dance songs until minutes before the reception kicked off and he still managed to get every tune rolling that we wanted (country heavy). If he didn't have the song he downloaded on the spot and blasted it two songs later. This guy was on point in every possible way in making my wife and I's wedding epic. ALL of our guests said that our wedding was the best they had ever been too and loved our DJ. I generally don't write reviews but I definitely want to give credit where it is due. Thank you Ascend Entertainment for helping make August 9, 2014 the most amazing day of our lives!

I can't not rave enough about the amazing job that the guys of ascend entertainment did. AJ and his partner in crime were very professional and easy going during the entire planning/actual event. The response time when questions needed to be answered was immediate. AJ worked with any last minute changes and any requests I had with no questions asked. If I had to refer a DJ to anybody it would definitely be Ascend Entertainment. The guests and my now husband are still raving and it's been 2 weeks. My entire day was perfect! Ascend Entertainment was great at my wedding! AJ provided a great flow for the reception and kept the event on schedule. He was quick to respond to emails and very accommodating to any request I had. I would recommend him to anyone getting married.

AJ and Ascend Entertainment were wonderful for our wedding ceremony at the Palmer Home B&B and for our reception at McCrady's downtown. AJ was incredibly responsive via e-mail and prompt to return phone calls, answer questions, etc. We utilized the DJ, photo booth, and classic lighting services. Their flexibility was also greatly appreciated as we had to extend the reception by an hour. AJ stayed so our guests could continue to party! I highly recommend Ascend Entertainment.

Ascend Entertainment was great!! AJ was extremely easy to work with before and during the wedding.
Very prompt on getting back to us planing the music for the wedding. The wedding started right on time. AJ was great during the reception with music and trying to get people on the dance floor. Would definitely recommend Ascend Entertainment for any wedding!!

Ascend DJ was the best DJ ever! They really made our guests want to dance and enjoy themselves. I could not have asked for a better DJ and am thankful that we chose Ascend DJ for our wedding. AJ was great and really handled everything and made our day fantastic!

AJ with Ascend Entertainment was fantastic! Very professional, helped to guide the big day and very receptive to suggestions. Helped make our "Sandstorm" entrance fantastic! He is a real personality and kept everyone on the dance floor as well as laughing during key moments. Would highly recommend!

AJ Snow is what every DJ should be.....Fantastic! He was available day or night, very professional, a ton of fun to work with and made the reception the very best! He is so good at engaging the crowd and making sure young and not as young are having the best time ever. Planning a wedding is such a stressful time and everytime we hit a "bump" we would just keep saying thank goodness for AJ! I have 2 other daughters that will be married and I will definitely have AJ come to wherever their big day takes place! Thanks AJ!

We can not imagine a better DJ experience. AJ is truly professional, he made it his mission to personally connect with Nick and I. He is an amazing person who is GREAT at what he does! I can not say enough about AJ!! He was extremely professional and did such a wonderful job with the ceremony and reception music. He kept my guests dancing all night long! I got so many compliments on the music selection. He was so great, he even calmed me down when it started raining a half hour before my beach ceremony was supposed to start! He really made the night very special and I would HIGHLY recommend Ascend Entertainment to anyone looking for a great and professional DJ for their event!

I was really glad I chose AJ from Ascend Entertainment to provide all of my musical needs for my wedding! I had a dual Indian/American wedding, so the music I needed included some indian music and AJ was able to do that and more! He was also a dynamic DJ and engaged the crowd and really got people dancing! He also had a very professional setup that looked fantastic! I would definitely use him again for any event I throw in Charleston.

Ascend came so highly recommending that I knew I needed them even for my tiny little wedding that barely had any dancing room. We were able to meet before the wedding and AJ helped this DIY bride come up with a timeline for the whole event (though beware, no wedding goes exactly as planned). They executed the whole event as best they could considering my guests wouldn't get away from the photo booth for more than a couple dances at a time. They even took the time pre-ceremony to talk me off the walls when my caterer hadn't shown up yet and it was 10min before I walked down the aisle. As far as they were concerned we could come in, order pizza for the whole reception, and party until they kicked us out of the building. It made the day so much more enjoyable knowing I didn't have to worry about anyone having a good time (and my caterer did show up as I was walking down).

Without a doubt, the best company to work with! They provided up-lighting for my reception, as well as DJ services for the wedding ceremony and reception - I didn't have to worry one tiny bit when it came to these aspects of my big day! AJ provides amazing customer service throughout the entire planning process and works with you to ensure ALL needs are met. Brandon was our DJ for the evening and arrived several hours early to get setup and was super polite and helpful. Our reception was a blast with everyone up and dancing for most of the evening and we had him to thank for it. The music selection kept everyone wanting more and more. The whole night was PERFECTION! Book these guys to have one aspect of your wedding completely stress-free! :)

SO MUCH FUN!!!! My wedding ended up being an amazing party all because of AJ. First off he answered all my emails promptly which was so important because this was a destination wedding! He met me every time I came to Charleston to answer all my questions. The day of, AJ met us right before the reception to go over the introduction (thank God because we changed the order of everyone since I had sent the information to him)! AJ was so fun and so receptive to my guests. AJ also made sure if anybody wanted something crazy he would OK it with me first. EVERYONE was on the dance floor, young, old, even the wait staff at one point! I had a crazy mixed crowd (people our age, tons of our parents friends, people from the south, people from the north, etc) and they were ALL on the floor together having an amazing time. No awkward moments, no awkward music, no inappropriate music and no boring music.. perfect mix!

If you want your wedding to be a party for ALL of your guests, AJ's your guy!

PS... Aj also played music for my cocktail hour but I wasn't there.. just thought I would mention his flexibility and accommodation to requests!

AJ was everything we expected and more! We were lucky enough book him after a family member used him at her wedding in 2011. In the rush of wedding planning, I neglected my music details until the very end and he worked with me on my last minute music selections without fail. During the ceremony and reception I didn't have a thing to worry about, and he worked with the venue coordinator and myself throughout the night to guide our guests' experience and keep the fun going all night long. I wish we could do it all over again next weekend!

Very personable and professional service. He kept in mind all family members attending the wedding when choosing music. Impeccable! Top equipment; handled our plantation wedding perfectly with lack of electrical outlets. We love Ascend Entertainment. AJ was friendly when we spoke on the phone and let me know exactly what to expect in my DJ. Brandon was without a doubt the best DJ of any event I have ever attended, and lucky for me it was my wedding!!!
