Wailea beach resort and nicks fish market Maui wedding
From the first call and emails about my dream vision for our intimate wedding in Maui, Asa was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the planning process. He created such beautiful arrangements over and above my wishes. His team arranged and set up both our ceremony and reception in another location and when I walked in for the night it was truly breathtaking from the candlelit table to the fresh perfectly arranged white florals. I am so lucky to have had him and his team everything was absolutely beautiful! ! -

We were fortunate to work with Asa who designed an absolutely breathtaking floral experience for our wedding. What I appreciated the most is that Asa went through multiple rounds of edits with us to make sure things were in line with our budget and that everything was just the way we wanted it. We live in Colorado and he made planning our florals in Hawaii a breeze. The florals were commented on by almost all of our guests and it truly made our wedding magical. -

Neon Tropical Dreams Come True!
After receiving an overwhelmingly expensive quote, our wedding planners reached out to Asa Flowers and got a quote that day for almost half the price. Our designs were everything we imagined and more for an affordable price without skimping or compromising on anything. We got to take the canopy arrangements and bouquet back to our hotel for the rest of our stay in Maui and they stayed beautiful for several days.
Though our planner (Makena Weddings!) coordinated with Asa, I have communicated with them after posting photos on IG and they have been so friendly and supportive. -

Asa is one of the most profoundly talented, organized, patient and professional florist you’ll ever meet. I explained my vision and he and his team exceeded our expectations. He worked within my budget, never tried to up sell and created the most amazing bouquets for me(bride), bridesmaids, alter decor, and reception table settings! They did this is a short amount of time and selected the most beautiful fresh flowers! He made revisions and sketched exactly what I wanted. Individual stems were carefully placed in water so the flowers lasted the week after! -

Where do I start.. working with Asa was sheer delight! Destination weddings are hard and hoping that you can connect with a person you only meet on a Zoom call can be tricky. But I knew with out a doubt that Asa "got" me on our very first conversation six months before my daughter's Maui wedding. With each follow up Zoom call, he proved to be more and more aware of our likes and dislikes and his ability to tweak our design because of our changes were always met with acceptance and patience. I can honestly say the one detail of the wedding that I was totally confident about being what I envisioned, was the flowers. I loved Asa from the beginning of the first call and the day was so beautiful because of his talent and the gorgeous flowers that adorned every aspect of the day/night! Maui is lucky to have him and if you are looking for the BEST, you will find it in ASA Flowers. -

Wedding floral of my dreams
We love Asa so much and were ecstatic he saw our vision. In all honesty, I think he saw my vision better than I did. I'm not super knowledgable when it comes to floral, so I deferred to him on a lot. He just gets it, and Asa's expertise shines so bright. So many of our guests said they simply cannot go to another wedding ever again, that this one was too pretty and too fun! Asa was an absolute pleasure to work with, and he perfectly captured my vision for my wedding florals. The florals for the ceremony (including the wedding four-post arch, aisle scatter petals, and end-of-the-aisle florals) and reception were recreated precisely as the Pinterest pictures I shared with him. The cake flowers were even more beautiful than the pictures I shared with him. I couldn't have asked to work with a better floral master artist than Asa. He is truly talented at his craft, and I only regret that I wished I had worked with him longer than the year of planning for our wedding. In addition, he is a great person, very kind and friendly. I hope to work with him again sometime in the future. Perhaps for our 10-year-anniversary wedding celebration.

Picking the right florist was important as my husband and I planned our wedding. My mom used to work as a florist in Hawaii, so the flowers were something we were particularly selective about. Asa definitely did not let us down! We are happy with everything, it all turned out so perfect. Even my mom, who is not easily impressed, was really happy with the floral arrangements. My bouquet, which was something I was a little concerned about (I have a petite frame, so the right proportions was important) turned out amazing.
Asa was able to bring our vision to life in a way that was incredibly seamless. Highly recommend! -

I cant recommend Asa enough. Our wedding was beautiful because his floral arrangements were stunning. He understood our vision and delivered on it, even better than we expected. Asa Flowers provided the most beautiful flowers for our wedding -- from our bouquets to the decorated arbor to the leis and the table decorations. I had wanted vibrant colors: purples, oranges and hot pinks, and they did a fabulous job in providing them. Our hair flowers and boutonnieres were gorgeous too. Incredible Florist!!!
From the first conversation we had with Asa, we knew we were working with the right florist for our daughter's wedding. He listened to what we wanted and worked within our budget. After a couple of calls, we knew the flowers were going to be beautiful. We were at ease with nothing to worry about. What we did not expect is how incredibly gorgeous the flowers would be. Asa is an honest man and I am so glad that our wedding venue recommended that we work with him. Everyone who has planned a wedding or an event with florals will know that flowers aren't cheap, however Asa was very willing to help us cut costs. I wanted an arch that was entirely covered by flowers for my wedding and the original photo I had sent had 99% white flowers on it, with barely any greens. After seeing how much it would cost, I asked for something with less flowers in order to try and save some money. Asa worked with me and even re purposed the flowers from the arch to the reception. When I saw the arch day of the wedding I was overwhelmed because 90% of the arch was still covered in white flowers. Of course, the entire ceremony and reception were decorated very tastefully too. Asa is extremely knowledgeable in the industry and willing to help make your vision a reality. He was one of the best vendors I worked with throughout the process. -

Wedding floral dreams come to life.
My wedding florals were exceptionally beautiful. I had just one conversation with Asa on the phone to try to convey what I wanted for my wedding. Romantic, classic, beautiul whites and pale blush tones was what I wanted with an elegant but ethereal quality. While talking on the phone, I felt like he could just picture exactly what he was going to do for me as he was describing what we were going to create together. When I actually saw the florals, I cried tears of joy. It was everything I wanted and more. Every detail and every flower was perfection. Asa Flowers did an amazing job with our wedding floral arrangements. Everything they touched with their design flair stood out among the already beautiful landscape of Maui. From the first time and only time we met, I felt that he put in a lot of effort to understand what I wanted for my flowers and centerpieces. He built a sense of trust that allowed me to give him full control of his art; one could say that I went into my wedding blind to the flower arrangements. I had given him some ideas of what I would like to see and what I generally liked and he created an AMAZING and STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL centerpiece that literally incorporated everything I wanted. User3314464 Sent on 11/17/2017Asa and his team were fantastic. When I told various vendors my vision for the wedding, everyone recommended Asa without hesitation and we weren't disappointed. We had the opportunity to do some planning on the island in advance so he invited us to his studio to take a tour so we got to meet the team, see their props and we met their watch cat, too.
Asa was helpful in letting us know what would be available - I wanted water lilies but they weren't in season so he set the expectation accordingly. He is open to exploring different arrangements - we went with a combination of a modern and tropical floral theme with a bit of ikebana thrown in and it all flowed pretty nicely. He's also pretty flexible so if you change your mind, he'll work with you up until the end to secure the flowers you want.
Asa is a bit on the pricier side so it is best to let him know in advance. There's an attention to detail that you'll be paying for so be prepared to articulate what you want. He will ask for inspiration photos and he'll usually use those as the basis for your proposal.
And one final thought for brides (I didn't have the foresight to ask) is to ask the florist how best to transport the bouquet back home. They're in the best position to provide guidance and I forgot to ask (mine made it back, albeit a bit flattened).
