Highly recommend!!
Erin was our officiant for our wedding in September, 2025 (sorry for the super late review!), and we are so happy we hired her! She is professional and knows exactly what she’s doing. All we had to do was pick a script that she wrote out, and she did the rest! Our ceremony ran smoothly and we got so many compliments from family and friends afterwards. She even submitted our marriage license for us so we didn’t have to worry about it and we could enjoy our honeymoon. We highly recommend her! My husband and I wanted to have an intimate ceremony before our daughter was born and we came across Erin. Our ceremony was super last minute and she accommodated us with no issue. She was absolutely amazing and made our wedding day so amazing and special. She was also very patient, as I took a little longer than expected to get ready! She was able to quickly craft a script that reflected my husband and I - it felt like she knew us for years. We were so lucky to find Erin! She helped guide us through the whole process and really got to know us along the way. She took time to discuss options, sent potential draft language for the ceremony and introduced the idea of a special ceremony within the larger ceremony. We researched the options and really liked the idea of the wine box ceremony. It was something we had not seen before and appreciated given its sentiment and intentions. Every conversation we had with her, along with the ceremony itself, was very personalized. She set us at ease, as she is so welcoming and open.
Our favorite moment was on the day of the wedding - we were both feeling a little overwhelmed - and she simply said "Don't worry. Just follow my lead." Basically communicating "I got you" - those simple words helped us relax and enjoy the day!
Additionally, she was so knowledgable about the paperwork, which was a huge stress relief. The clerk at the county had told us stories of marriage certificates being rejected or needing to be redone because of errors on the form. We emailed her and she was on it - saying she had done hundreds without a problem in the past. Putting our minds at ease, we could focus on what mattered most to us. Everything went well and our certificate was approved!
We cannot say enough great things about Erin. She is smart, caring and very good at her job. Her experience and confidence are reassuring. We highly recommend her!As You Wish Wedding Officiant's reply:

Erin was so incredibly warm, and friendly, and yet incredibly talented and professional as well. She really listened to us, and knew exactly how to make our ceremony unique and one of a kind. We were intentional about who we hired as our officiant. We are spiritual and not religious so we didn't want the typical religious ceremony. During our consultation with Erin we asked her if she would be open to reading a ceremony that we created ourselves. She was very open to doing so and was very easy to work with during the process. We got married on the summer solstice so the ceremony that we created was designed around that, and she did an excellent job as our Officiant. We couldn't have been happier! After our wedding, during the reception we got so many compliments about the beautiful ceremony both from couples who have already been married, and couples who are not yet married. Everyone said they wished they had a ceremony like ours and how inspired and touched they were after watching us get married. There wasn't a dry eye in the crowd! As a more mature couple, who had been together for over 30 years, our wedding was anything but traditional! It was private, just the two of us, and we wanted to make it our own. Erin listened to our wishes and incorporated in the ceremony our story and how we got to this point. With us not meeting until the day of the wedding, our phone calls were all we had to feel a connection with Erin, and that was definitely there. We got married 5 days ago and still can’t get over of our wedding day. Hiring Erin is one of the best decision we’ve ever made for our wedding. As we wish, she incorporated some filipino traditions and rituals. We did the unity candle, veil, cord and coin. She officiated our wedding beautifully. I will absolutely recommend her to others. First of all, I want to thank Erin for providing a beautiful ceremony for our wedding. Since the beginning that I contacted her through The Knot, she was very professional and respected my time. She responded so quickly to my messages because as a Bride, your stress levels are through the roof. When my husband and I, requested a meeting, she was very nice, helpful, and listened to what we wanted. We wanted to have a bilingual wedding with our Catholic religion incorporated in the ceremony. She provided us with two samples and helped us decide because both were beautiful. My favorite part was the fact that she was able to include the Lazzo tradition in our ceremony. The day of the wedding, she was very considerate enough to stop by in my bridal room and ask for my vows so that she can hold on to them. That was so helpful since I was so nervous and was already worried about not forgetting my bouquet and of course to not trip in front of everyone. So thank you Erin for making it so easy and beautiful for our the special day. I high recommend hiring Erin for your ceremony.

We started our search through google and found Erin. I loved what her website said; matched what we were looking for. On our first call, I knew Erin was going to be a perfect fit to marry us and as a added bonus we received coaching. The coaching was very enlightening; we would suggest this for any couple. First of all, we traveled from MD to get married in Napa, just the two of us. Had never met Erin but “had a feeling” when we talked on the phone. She was GREAT! Our location at a private estate was not the easiest to navigate but she was on time and did an amazing job. Erin was such an amazing part of my wedding ceremony and was very helpful and communicative the entire time. I decided June 2023 that I was getting married August 5th 2023 and reached out to Erin as soon as I saw her profile on wedding wire. I reached out to her and within a few hours she had sent me all I needed to know and asked me questions about my wedding and what I was looking for. Erin walked me through this process and made me feel so relaxed about the ceremony. Knowing that she knew her stuff really put me at ease and allowed me to focus on the million other things I had to do for my backyard reception. I had guests comment on how clear she was and how light hearted and fun she made the ceremony. She also incorporated Spanish for my family and it was excellent! 100/100 stars, I highly recommend Erin. An Officiant Who Loves Love
Erin officiated our wedding in April of 2023. Before the wedding we met with her twice and had back and forth conversations via email. The words of the ceremony were very important for us and Erin really helped us to be able to express our love for each other. She has a calming demeanor which was so nice to be around. My husband and I were married on September 17, 2022 and Erin was our officiant. She assisted us in preparing a beautiful and personalized bilingual (Spanish and English) ceremony. It was short, sweet, and sentimental, just as we wanted. More than that though, Erin was so kind and accommodating when we ran into an emergency. Less than 7 days before the wedding, we had to relocate to a different venue due to the Mosquito Fire. Our original venue was in Foresthill. We contacted Erin and she basically eased all of our worries right away. She helped take some concerns off our plate since she was willing to go to whatever venue we needed to go to, even on short notice, to help us pull off our wedding. She gave us ideas and templates for the ceremony and we took bits and pieces to create the perfect ceremony for us and it was in Spanish and English for both families which I loved. I have so many good things to say about our experience with Erin that I'm not even sure where to begin! It's important to note that my husband and I were planning our Sacramento wedding from New York City, which is no easy feat. Despite the distance, Erin was more than willing to "meet" with us over the phone multiple times to discuss her services, perfect our ceremony, and guide us through the process of obtaining our marriage license. We were originally booked for a 2020 wedding and decided to postpone to 2021 due to COVID. Erin was incredibly understanding and willing to move our ceremony to 2021 with no repercussions, which made a difficult situation much easier. Leading up to our wedding, Erin provided us with sample ceremonies and allowed us all of the space we needed to customize them as we saw fit. She also shared a ceremony including Jewish traditions, which gave us just the inspiration we needed to feature some Jewish elements in our ceremony. We were so happy to create a ceremony that fit us as a couple so perfectly. On our wedding day itself, Erin checked in with me when I was feeling my most stressed. I shared that I was worried about key components of our ceremony being delivered to the site by the venue. Although I do not believe it is part of her job description, she followed up to ensure everything made its way there. It was so comforting to know that I could rely on her. Our ceremony was beautiful and everything I dreamed it would be. It was heartfelt and emotional for all of us. Erin Summ was the perfect officiant for our wedding on June 26, 2020! (I couldn't change the wedding date on this review.) She was one of the recommended officiants for our wedding at Catta Verdera Country Club. I knew from the moment I spoke to Erin that she was the one that we wanted. We spoke several times prior to the wedding, and each time, Erin was so happy and joyful. She was quick to respond to any questions I had, and even was able to accommodate our time change for the wedding. She worked with us to customize our service. We finally got to meet her during the wedding ceremony, and she did a wonderful job. We especially loved the Apache blessing. Many guests remarked about how great she was. My first wedding was an Indian wedding, which lasted over an hour. With this wedding, everyone paid attention because it was short, and so interesting. Erin's words really spoke to us, and made our day so special. It was a joy to finally meet her, and her happiness for our wedding just showed in her face (even with a mask on!) We had no idea what we wanted to do for our wedding beyond having it at our ranch and having it be a reflection of US. Working with Erin, we were able to put all KINDS of pieces in the ceremony that were truly special, including a ring-warming, tree-planting, and handfasting, and having my German Shepherds escort me "down the aisle" into a circle of trees. Erin had great suggestions and examples of vows and other material, and incorporated all the different elements into a wonderful ceremony.
Erin is a joy to work with, handles all of the logistics smoothly, takes hiccups in stride, and brings warmth and love to her role as officiant. First thing let me say we loved everything about Erinn & how special she made our day. Ontop of that she was able to make it a bilingual ceremony which was very hard to find in order for our families to enjoy & be part of our love story & ceremony experience. Erinn was so flexible in setting a date for consultation & was even able to do it over the phone with our busy schedules. She really wanted to get to know us for our personalities & love story in how we met which meant a lot. She made us feel so comfortable & even partook in a little humor during the ceremony which was exactly what we wanted. She & my mother then surprised us with a butterfly release during our ceremony which was such a beautiful & amazing experience. She was also able to get some tears and make the guests emotional with her kind & lovely words. This was literally everything we asked for & we couldn’t of been happier with our chose! Best Officiant Ever!
My husband and I got married in November 2018. We found almost every other vendor pretty quickly but had some trouble finding an officiant. We met with a few people and just didn't feel like they were a good fit. A lot of the conversations felt forced, and we did not feel they were genuinely interested in knowing about our lives and our story. As soon as we spoke with Erin we knew she was perfect to officiate our wedding day! She was genuine, warm, helpful and interested in getting to know us and helping us create the perfect ceremony for our wedding day. After we hired her we corresponded back and forth a lot, and Erin was always timely and thorough with her responses. She gave us examples of some beautiful ceremonies she had written and researched others to help us customize ours to perfection. She put us at ease and allowed us to relax and know we were in good hands!
On the day of our wedding Erin orated our ceremony beautifully. There were many happy tears in the crowd and we could feel how genuinely happy Erin was for us! Shortly after the wedding she sent us a lovely hand-written card and a picture of the three of us on our wedding day. It was a sweet, unexpected gesture and another example of her going above and beyond for her couples! Erin is such a positive presence. I saw her website and watched videos of her previous ceremonies and knew I wanted her to speak at my wedding even before meeting her.
Her voice is very calming and filled with warmth, and her personality matches this. She is so kind and calm, and is truly a light for those starting out on their marriage journey.
The initial meeting to get to know one another went very well. She was so open and welcoming! I was nervous, (as l often am in new situations) but she immediately put me at ease. She was very responsive to our needs concerning the ceremony, and answered all our questions. We felt so confident after speaking with her and sorting out details that we hired her on the spot.
Erin delivered the most amazing ceremony filled with beautiful poetry/prose, and allowed us to honor our loved ones who had passed on with a moment of silence before our reading began. This soothed a painful part of the wedding for us, as we wanted them there so badly.
Erin, thank you for being our officiant. You made our special day one filled with positivity and sunshine, and I will always remember the words you wrote for us and live by them daily in my marriage.
