Roney and his team was excellent! Communication was seamless, and we met at the beach for our engagement photos. I sent a link with about 20 reference pictures, and Roney meticulously went through each one, guiding us on how to pose. His attention to detail was incredible, and he made us feel completely comfortable throughout the shoot. He speaks both English and Spanish, which was great for communication. Even with the rain, the photos turned out so stunning that all my friends said they looked like they belonged in a magazine. Truly the best photographer in Aruba—he knows exactly what he’s doing!

I was definitely skeptical, booking a photo shoot while home in the US, with a photographer in Aruba that I didn’t know and didn’t know anyone who could vouch for his work.

On July 12 my brother had proposed to his girlfriend in Aruba. I contacted Rooney to take professional pictures of them. The pictures came out absolutely stunning. He not only took pictures of the couple but of my entire family and all my cousins. I was so shocked to see that they came out stunning because of the lighting. The pictures on an iPhone could never ever compare to the pictures taken on this camera. All of my extended family members have been nonstop talking to me about how beautiful the pictures are. We got married at the Divi All Inclusive and hired Aruba Photo and Films as our photographer and videographer. They met with us before the wedding when we were in Aruba to discuss the details we wanted for our wedding pictures and how the day would go. This really put me at ease. They came to the wedding fully prepared with a full team and all their gear, including a drone for the video. They did an excellent job! The photos and video are beautiful and really capture our wedding and the beauty of the day. For the photos, they do a nice job editing out any unwanted things in the background and if you'd like additional minor edits, they will do those as well. For the video, they have a drone that they use to do amazing shots (definitely recommend this if doing video). I'm very happy with the level of professionalism and the quality of our pics and videos that will allow us to remember the details of the day for years to come!

If you are looking for the absolute best photographer and videographer in Aruba, look not further!! I highly recommend Aruba photo and films, without reservation! My husband and I traveled to Aruba from NJ in October 2020 for our “Babymoon”, and wanted to capture our gender reveal on the beach. The communication with our photographer was seamless ahead of our trip and upon arrival. The day of our session, the team was exceptional. They provided the most amazing service and experience during our private beach photo shoot and captured every special moment of our gender reveal. They made us feel so comfortable especially during the uncertainty of the pandemic. Their attention to detail and genuine love for what they do came through in every one of our photos. Roney is a class act!
My wedding coming this June 13th, 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19. On top of the disappointment of having to cancel my entire wedding I was also tasked with recouping all of the money I have put out to vendors. Roney refunded my deposit due to these extreme circumstances unlike many other vendors. I would not hesitate to use him in the future should I return to Aruba once life goes back to normal. He has been understanding and professional through this very trying time for me. Thank you Roney and hopefully I will see you soon!

Amazing Videographer
I am so happy I decided to have a videographer to film my special day but even happier it was Roney Lopes. He was so nice from beginning to end and I really appreciated how flexible and easy going he was throughout the entire process. He listened to what we wanted and made sure it happened. Roney was there the entire day and was able to catch every special moment on film, from the small moments to the big. We love how he edited the end video, it was better than we even imagined. Roney Made us an amazing wedding video that we will cherish forever. He captured every important detail of our wedding from getting ready, ceremony, and reception. He brings the moments to life with his artistic style.
It was a pleasure working with him. He was very responsive from start to finish. He answered all of my questions very quickly- within hours! he also sent us a few sneak peeks before sending us the full video-which came very quickly as well!
He was very accommodating to our schedule when we met with him on the island days before our wedding. After the wedding, we met again for a mini casual drone session that he also incorporated into our video. AMAZING.

We had a great time with this photographer , he was so professional came with another photographer to help. He made it so easy for us, found us at our spot and really worked with us to get the best shots.
