Erin Kennedy & Kristen McKenzie are THE BEST!

Erin Kennedy (Hair) and Kristin McKenzie (make-up) were amazing. I hired them for H&M for 6 bridesmaids for my wedding at a family home on Cape Cod. They were so welcoming and kind at my trial and on the day I felt so taken care of. My bridesmaids also raved about her. Thank you to you both. ❤️

Just amazing!

Erin & the Artworx team are great! On the day of the wedding, I had 9 bridesmaids, my mom and 2 flower girls getting hair and/or makeup done but the Artworx team worked within our timeline and everyone looked gorgeous! I wasn’t sure what I wanted exactly but at my trial, Shannon & Kristin created the exact look I was going for! Everyone looked naturally beautiful. Highly recommend!

Amazing and talented team!

Erin (hair) and Kristen (makeup) were amazing and made us all feel beautiful. They clearly know exactly what they are doing and are such professionals. I knew I was thrilled about my choice once I had my trial. They were so patient with me because I know very little about makeup and had no idea what to do with my hair. They each listened to me process what I liked and didn't like until we landed on exactly what I wanted. Erin can do absolutely anything to anyone's hair and Kristen made me look and feel naturally beautiful. I am so thrilled with this team and would recommend to anyone!

Erin and her team are amazing! I had so much fun all day long getting ready and our hair and makeup was beautiful! Erin is so responsive and professional and truly develops relationships with her brides and their bridal party! She goes above and beyond to make your day so special and even helped us out with her years of experience in bridal lounges when a few of our girls' dresses had some slight issues right before the ceremony. Can't recommend her enough!!

From my first inquiry with Erin, she was incredibly responsive and helpful with my trial and my wedding day planning. Erin and her team did my hair and makeup the exact way I pictured it. A lot of times hair and makeup stylists will ask you for a photo of how you want your hair to look on the day of and it doesn't always look that way in the end. I can say with confidence that myself, every single bridesmaid (10 of them!), my mother, the groom's mother and even the flower girl had their hair and makeup come out EXACTLY how they wanted it. Not only that, but the Artworx team traveled to the house we were getting ready at the morning of and were ready and raring to go, keeping us excited and laughing all morning. I could not recommend everyone at Artworx more, we absolutely loved them!

Michelle and Amanda from Erin's team did hair and makeup for me, my 6 bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom. All my maids were so happy with their hair, and I loved mine! Not only that, at the end of the night despite dancing up a storm and going to the after party....my hair still was in place and makeup was perfect (without looking overly done)! They were easy to communicate with before the event and on the day of they were on time, efficient, and very talented. There was no stress in timing as they were done early! Thank you Michelle and Amanda for creating such stunning looks for everyone!

Erin and Kristen were so great, I could not be happier that I chose them to do hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. Erin is an incredibly calming and joyful force on what can be a very stressful day; I was so appreciative of both her attitude and her work! I was incredibly happy with the end results of my hair and makeup -- even more than I was expecting after the trial! Erin and her team at Artwork were great! I loved my make up and hair and my bridal party did as well! If we wanted anything adjusted they were totally open to it! Erin was a pleasure to work with as well even though she wasn't doing our hair and makeup, she set everything up and was so sweet! Shannon Kennedy and Michelle Smoller are absolutely incredible!! They both spent a lot of time with me during my trial to ensure I was 100% satisfied, which I was!! They came to my house and did the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids and mom. We all had a phenomenal time and felt beautiful when done. I had the absolute pleasure of having Erin Kennedy and Ariane Kelley, from Artworx Hair Design, do hair and make up for myself and my bridal party for my wedding this past September. Both ladies are extremely talented, but also are simply warm people who had a very calming energy, which I really appreciated among the chaos of getting ready on my wedding day. Erin not only made my hair beautiful and styled it just as I had envisioned, but it was able to withstand a passing storm my husband and I got caught in taking our pictures during our first look (With NO umbrella)! My hair stood strong and made it through the rest of the day and night! People at the wedding could not believe that I had gotten soaked in the rain because my hair was truly still perfect. Ariane had a true gift. Not the biggest fan of my skin, she managed to make me look flawless and feel confident. I also loved the fact that they came to us and were able to work on site at the house close to my venue (although their salon in Sandwich is absolutely adorable)! Loved both ladies and how beautiful and comfortable they made myself, my bridal party, and my Moms. I cannot thank them enough. I wish I could get my hair and make up done with them all over again!

Erin and Michelle did a phenomenal job with hair and make-up for wedding in June! Everyone looked beautiful! My hair came out incredible! I couldn't have been more pleased!

We were on a pretty tight schedule because we had a welcome brunch event the morning of the wedding, but Erin brought an extra stylist for both hair and make-up and everyone was done in time! They were flexible, too-- a couple of my girls decided to add services within a few days of the wedding, and they were able to accommodate. In additional to hair and make-up for myself, 6 girls had their hair done, and 7 had make-up, including my husband's mother and grandmother. It got a little crowded in my room at the Seacrest, but we did make-up on the balcony to save some space. They started hair at noon, and make-up and 12:30, and I was in my dress and ready to go by 2:30, when Erin pinned flowers and accessories in my hair.

At my trial, Erin did a couple of modifications to make sure I was pleased, and it looked even better on my wedding day! I had a ton of hair (thick and really long) and my up-do held the whole evening, even through lots of dancing. Michelle convinced me to try false eyelashes and I'm so glad she did! They make my face look so much more finished in all the pictures.

Overall, I definitely recommend using Artworx for wedding hair and make-up!

Erin and Allison were the dream team! My goal was to find talented, affordable people who I could stand being around on my special day and at Artworx, I found people who I LOVED being around. Erin was flexible, patient and SO talented. My hair was perfect the bridal party was thrilled with their hair. I've never had a professional updo that didn't give me a headache or have a pound of hairspray in it until this. Allison did everyone's make-up and showed us blending tips and tricks to use in the future. Book Artworx and you will be so happy!

Erin was great! Artworx provided both hair and makeup for my bridal party and moms. My hair (along with all my bridesmaids) was absolutely flawless! I had a few changed from the trial, and she nailed them. It was also a very windy day, and it stayed perfect. The makeup was top-notch and stayed 100% all night, including lots of dancing! Not only was she on time, but she was fun to be around and provided for a great pre-wedding atmosphere while we were getting ready. Highly recommended!

Erin, the owner was great! She responded to my original email right away and called to talk to me about the details of my wedding day. She coordinated with Michelle, who did my makeup along with my MOH, MOB, Mother-in-Law and Aunt's makeup too. We all wanted a natural look...but obviously something a little more than the everyday makeup. Michelle was amazing. I knew she'd be a perfect fit the day I met her for my trial. She was so sweet and really took the time to make sure my makeup was exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Artworx for wedding makeup...especially Michelle! Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough on how great they are! Erin did my Hair for my mom and I and Tarrianne did the makeup for my Mom & I as well on my wedding day.

First I have to start off by saying that our Cape Cod wedding was a destination wedding so planned planned most of it from NY, and she was sooo helpful and accommodating in this! She did my trial for my May wedding in September while I was visiting to make sure I had to opportunity to do one before the wedding.

On the wedding day she created my hairstyle to be wayyy better than the trial, and fine tuned it to match my dress and accessories. She was even able to tame my mother's difficult hair which stayed all day. When it comes to makeup Tarrianne did an amazing job as well! Both my mother and I work up the next morning and our makeup still looking pretty great!

After my wedding I visited their actual shop for a Hair cut by Erin and it was great!

I cannot thank or recommend them enough!

I won their services for my wedding. These lovely ladies were awesome. They really kept me smiling and comfortable. They did my hair and makeup as well as my 5 girls and my mom and mother in law. Everyone turned out BEAUTIFUL. We had plenty of time to spare. No one was rushed. I was so thankful for them. My makeup was still on me late the next day! The most impressive thing was they actually flew down to Florida to do my wedding. I was so happy to have met them! Thanks ladies!

I was very nervous about my hair and makeup for my big day...and I am so thankful that I chose the girls at Artworx to work with! Megan did all of our hair (8 total!) in about 4 hours and everyone looked gorgeous! My hair was even better than at my trial, and really looked just like the picture I gave her! Pam did our makeup and I've never felt more beautiful. I also went with false lashes for the day which was a great choice- they were dramatic for pictures but not too over the top. Overall I'm very happy with how everything turned out!

I used Erin for my bridal hair, and I was thrilled with her work! I was looking for someone who would come on site to me and my bridal party, and found that Erin is the professional to use! At my trial, she used a photo I found on pintrest and she created the look to a tee, and then tweaked it to make it perfect for me. The day of the wedding, she was super responsive and no minor tweak was too small. She made me feel like her number one priority was my happiness with her work. She was great to have in the room with us on our wedding day -- she exudes such a relaxed and fun vibe that was just perfect for day of. Thanks Erin!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Erin and her team at Artworx. What an amazing group of women I had the honor of interacting with. Erin is a pro (my mom referred to her as a magician). Erin was fantastic to coordinate with, I loved her from the first email response I received! Andrea did my hair for my wedding and did a wonderful job. She did two trials for me since I wasn't 100% sure after the first trial about the style I wanted. Her extra time and help ensured that my hair was exactly what I wanted on my wedding day! Not only did my hair look beautiful, but it withstood the test of a long night of dancing and photos on the beach in 20mph winds-- thank you Andrea! Ariane did my make-up and it was absolutely perfect! Enough make up for me to feel glamorous on my big day- and still feel like myself. She also made me relax right away on the day of the wedding because she's so friendly and easy to talk with. Artworx was great! I had a very large bridal party (13 women total) and they had no problems getting all of our hair and makeup done on time. I had two women doing hair and two women doing makeup. We started around 10 and were done by 2pm - leaving plenty of time to relax before I had to get my dress on. Everyone looked beautiful and loved their hair and makeup.

Erin did my hair on my wedding day along with 7 bridesmaids! I was so thrilled with the results. I wanted my hair down with "old hollywood curls" and that's exactly what she delivered! My hair was exactly how I wanted it. My 7 bridesmaids all asked for various different hair styles and they all looked gorgeous!
Erin is so fun and it was a blast chatting with her the morning of the wedding. She was an absoute delight!

I cannot say enough about Erin and her team! From the first moment I met Erin (the owner of the company) at my hair trial she made me feel as though I was the most important person. She is friendly and professional. Her team is also the same way. All of my girls were more than pleased with their hair and make up. And I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world on my wedding day! They were even great in accommodating late add ons and the 5 flower girls/junior bridesmaids. My bridesmaids and I each had airbrush make up done for my wedding on the Cape and I could not have been happier with how everything turned out! From trial to wedding day, Erin was incredibly helpful and responsive. My make up lasted throughout the day and came out looking great in photographs. Anyone who is unsure about airbrush please go for a trial with Erin. The end result was so natural looking and it lasted throughout our 10+ hour day. Couldn't be happier!

Erin, the owner, is awesome. She is super sweet and is great with email. Everyone at the salon made me feel right at home when I went in for my hair/makeup trials. The day of the wedding was great. However, they originally had me and my bridal party (5 bridesmaids) scheduled to start at 9am in order to be ready for my 1:30 ceremony (about 30 mins away from where we got ready). After taking the advice of my friends, I requested that we start at 8am instead. I am SO glad that I did this because even though we started an hour earlier, we were STILL rushing to get out the door on time! The final minutes of prep before we got into the limo were a bit hectic. All in all, hair (stylist was Andrea) and makeup (artist was Erin) were amazing!

Erin at Artworx is a genius with hair! She did a great job on all of the girls for my April wedding, and traveled to the hotel where we were staying. She arrived nice and early, got everyone done and is so good that she was even able to add an extra bridesmaid who initially planned to do her own hair. It was a windy day, and we took pictures down at the beach, but everyone's hair made it out while still looking great. My girls were very impressed and said I had the best hair dresser they had ever used as a bridesmaid. Erin is also a total sweetie- thanks Erin!!

We had a great time with Erin at my trial and the day of my wedding. She was very excited for me and has great passion for what she does. She was on-time the day of and even drove all the way to Provincetown to help me, my mother and seven bridesmaids get ready. Erin was a big part of our morning. She felt like one of the girls as we all got to relax, laugh and let our inner beauty shine. I highly recommend her.

Both Erins did an amazing job with my hair and make up as well as my bridesmaids. They did exactly what everyone requested and did an amazing job! They make you feel like you are the most beautiful bride! They are also so sweet, calm and relaxing, which helps on such a busy day. I would recommend them to anyone getting married, they make your day that much more special. My hair also didn't fall out, which was an added bonus with all the dancing we were doing!

Erin and Erin are amazing, I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married on the Cape. We planned our wedding long distance from Atlanta and Erin was super flexible working with me on scheduling a trial. They provide excellent and beautiful work, all of my bridesmaids LOVED their hair and make up and my hair and make up were exactly what I wanted and I also loved it! They are really easy going and really relaxed which is exactly what you need the morning of your wedding, they put me at ease and Erin even stayed to help put my veil in for me. Both Erins were absolutely a joy to work with, book them early!

When I first met Erin for a trial 4 months before my wedding, I left feeling like I had known her for years. She has an amazing personality and great energy. On our wedding day, Erin was at my hotel room early and just made the whole day nice and relaxing. All of the girls hair and makeup was phenomenal. I loved how Erin did my own hair. I go back and look at the wedding pictures constantly and each time I see pictures, I love my hair and all the girls hair! I honestly can't say enough about Erin. She is fantastic!!

It's not just because we have the same first name - Erin really is the best at formal hair styling! Myself and each of my bridesmaids wanted such different looks and Erin delivered on all of them. My hair is super straight and fine and is notorious for not staying in place, no matter how many bobby pins or how much hair spray is used. Well, Erin defied my previously un-stylable hair. I had an intricate look that held up all night. I never once felt a bobby pin digging into my scalp or neck and had no idea how many were actually used until I undid my hair after the reception. Erin is a master at what she does. Do yourself a favor and book her. Immediately. You will not be sorry. She's fun, silly and will tell you great stories as you're getting ready. You will want someone that stress-free helping you get ready the morning of your wedding because you're going to be stressed and emotional anyway. She's amazing and I am so glad that she did my hair for my wedding. You won't find anyone better!

Echoing the comments here, Erin was a fantastic hairstylist for my wedding day, I am so glad I got to work with her. Erin Marconi, her makeup artist, was also amazing! I did a hair and makeup trial, and Erin and Erin were so fun to hang out with. I brought a few pictures, and Erin was able to immediately whip my hair into a perfect copy of each picture, it was amazing! The hair and the makeup from the trial lasted all day so I knew I was in good hands.

For the wedding itself, Erin and Erin came to my B&B, and did the hair and makeup for myself and virtually my whole (large) wedding party. Once again, Erin was able to give each girl the hairstyle she wanted, and everyone's hair looked amazing for the wedding, even though it was unexpectedly warm that day. I was even able to take a little nap in my hair without it looking at all affected! Amazing. And the makeup was awesome - I don't normally wear much, so Erin M gave me a natural look that was strong enough so that I didn't look washed out in pictures, but it still looked like me. It still looked pretty good the next morning, since I went to bed without washing my face (whoops!).

Above all, the Erins were so fun to work with. They were professional, on-time, fast, funny, and helped me relax on the morning of my wedding. The prices are totally reasonable for an amazing outcome. I highly recommend hiring them!

I feel so lucky to have worked with Erin on my wedding day, she (and Erin Marconi - make-up!) were absolutely amazing! From the initial booking, to the trial, to the day of the wedding, both Erin and Erin were very easy to work with and really made me feel beautiful and special during the whole process. With all the other stresses before the wedding, it was so nice to have Erin and Erin around - after my trial, I know I didn't have to worry at all about hair and make-up! My bridesmaids, Mom, Mother-in-law and flower girl all hung out on location the day of the wedding to get ready together and Erin + Erin came to us, making for a really relaxing day of preparations with lunch and mimosas, just how I imagined it! I don't typically wear a lot of make-up so I'm always a little hesitant having my make-up professionally done, but Erin really was able to make my make-up look natural and gorgeous. All of my bridesmaids were also really happy with how their hair and make-up came out, everyone looked incredible! Price-wise, I compared a few other services and salons and Artworx was very reasonable for the quality and level of services provided in comparison to a number of the other vendors I reviewed. Erin let me paid the entire amount upfront too so I wouldn't have to worry about paying them the day of the wedding which was really nice. I'd absolutely recommend Erin and her Artworx team for your wedding day!

I absolutely loved working with Erin. From the start, she was friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic! Originally, I hired her just for hair design--no makeup. There was a slight miscommunication in scheduling, and it looked like she might be running late on the day of the wedding. She ended up bringing her makeup artist (also named Erin!) and did my face free of charge, as a gift. On top of that, hair and makeup looked absolutely incredible and suited my personal style. Erin and Kim were a dream to work with! Not only are they extremely professional and fantastic at what they do, but they are nice, fun, and are clearly driven to making their brides and bridal party look and feel fantastic. Everything from my first email to Erin to my trial to my wedding day was productive, fun, and I never had to worry about how great I'd look because they are just THAT good at what they do. They made my bridal party look and feel great: our hair and makeup was perfect and lasted 12 hours! As someone that doesn't wear a ton of makeup usually, Kim made me feel very comfortable and I never felt like I was overdone. Erin Kennedy and Erin Marconi did my hair and make-up and I can't say enough good things about them. My hair, my mom's hair and all of the bridesmaids hair turned out awesome. Everyone kept telling me how great my hair looked and it lasted all night long. Erin for make-up was also great. I am not a huge make-up person and I was nervous that the make-up would be overwhelming and I wouldn't look like myself, but that didn't happen. I looked liked myself and the make-up was very natural. All the girls love how they looked too and the pictures came out great. They did an AMAZING job. They came to the venue, were on time, they set everything up and cleaned-up. They were kind and funny and they helped keep nerves down when we started to get nervous/excited. Erin did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my mom's. She did a wonderful job, was fun to work with, and kept me calm and relaxed the entire time. My makeup even stayed on the next day, so I got through the family BBQ with the same makeup from the wedding!
I also have bought some Arbonne products from her as well, and I've been very happy with their products. I would definitely recommend Erin for hair and makeup on the Cape.

You couldn't find anyone better than Erin at Artworx Bridal Hair Design for your wedding. Not only is she friendly, reliable and incredibly easy to work with, she also works miracles. Erin took the stress out of my wedding morning - she came right to the house and made everyone look beautiful without feeling rushed. My hair looked gorgeous - sophisticated, elegant and soft - and it stayed put all day long. It didn't matter how many bear hugs I got or how late into the night I danced, my hair looked amazing through the whole wedding. And best of all, I didn't have a headache from all the bobbypins, and when I took them out at the end of the night, my hair was still soft with pretty curls. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

I had a trial with them a few months before the wedding and I could tell I was going to love being with them that day. They are both very laid back and fun, but also very talented and willing to work with you to find hair and make up you will be comfortable with. I honestly can be very picky about both hair and make up (especially make up since I don't wear it often) and I loved my hair and my make up on that day. So did everyone in my wedding! I also though their prices were very reasonable, and the trial price comes out of your final payment, which not everyone does! I highly recommend using Artworx for your wedding!

I would HIGHLY recommend Artworx to any bride, she is very professional, and promptly answered any and all emails/phone calls.

She made me look and feel so beautiful on my most important day of my life. The make-up and hair was exactly what I wanted--and I was a little leary because we eloped and were not able to do a trial run, but she knocked it out of the park on the 1st try! Her many years experience in hair/make-up is evident in her quality of work and product.

My spouse even loved her hair and make-up and she never wears make-up! She looked amazing...

I found these ladies through my planner, Connie Nye Clark with the Perfect Plan, and I could not have been more happy with her suggestion. I had 8 girls who needed to be done up for my wedding and they handled it like a breeze. We had Amanda for hair and Susie for makeup. My bridesmaids looked stunning and were so excited about their looks! I also was extremely pleased with my wedding hair and makeup. It was especially nice that i was able to go in for a trial a few weeks before and try out a few different looks for the big day. They even gave me up until the moment they began my hair and makeup to decide on which look I wanted! This was so great because I had certain styles in mind for certain weather situations, and I didn't have to worry about picking the wrong look. The girls came right to our room where we were getting ready and made everything so easy and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend the ladies at Artworx for any cape weddings!

Erin and Erin were so wonderful to work with. They came to us and are such fun and professional women to work with. Erin is a wizard with hair and is able to do it so quickly. My hair didn't quite last through the whole wedding but that was more due to the hat I wore as part of my traditional Vietnamese wedding attire. I had the airbrush make up done and absolutely loved it. This is the way to go for wedding make up, it lasts all day without retouching and looks great in pictures. Erin even created a custom red lip gloss for me that I love, love, love! I wish this salon was closer to where I live because I would come here regularly if it was!

Artworx is worth every penny! I had stylists Michelle and Sydney for my wedding at the Wychmere last month and they exceeded my expectations. First of all, Michelle arrived early and somehow finished 6 bridesmaids' hair and me way early before first look. Plus she rolled everyone's hair first and then styled. All my bridesmaids were so impressed by this and it made getting ready pictures way cuter. Both of them were so friendly and easygoing. We loved having them around while we got ready. Everyone's hair and makeup came out amazing. I loved my hair and makeup so much, I never wanted to take it out. Erin and Erin did my hair and makeup for my October 13th wedding, as well as for my three bridesmaids. The girls looked so beautiful--not too made-up, but like the most beautiful versions of themselves--and I was beyond thrilled with my own hair and makeup. It was even better than how I envisioned it. They really listen to you and are willing to re-work the tiny things until they look exactly right.

I've had my hair and makeup done for Cape Cod weddings before, but Erin and Erin stood out as far and away the best.
You don't want just anyone around you the morning of your wedding, which can be really overwhelming. The Erins arrived right in time with smiles on their faces and got right to work. They kept things light and fun, made us laugh, and brought a sense of relaxation and calm that really set the tone for our wedding day. I didn't want them to leave!

I had many excellent vendors help make my wedding awesome, but these girls were my favorites.

My hair and makeup was one of the top things on my list I was most concerned about for my wedding day. I wore my hair down with a few pieces slightly pulled back. Erin knew the look I was going for and her calm demeanor and bright attitude quelled any nerves I had related to my hair. She is professional, showed up on time (even with a start time of 6 am!), and was cool under pressure. Highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Cape Cod hair professional that travels.

Erin from Artworx was amazing. They was extremely professional and well prepared. She helped me design a look that was perfect for my wedding day. Erin and her assistant did the hair of my 6 bridesmaids and my mom. Everyone was very happy with their hair and the whole process was so enjoyable. Erin came to my mother's house. For be me, being able to get my hair done in the comfort of my home was so relaxing and fun. Everyone's hair stayed in all night which was awesome. I would recommend Artworx to anyone. Erin from Artworx Bridal Hair Design did a wonderful job beautifying the bridal party before our wedding this summer. She and her makeup partner were so friendly and wonderful to have around while we were getting ready. The bride & bridesmaids were very happy with their hair & makeup, and she made the flower girl an updo in about 10 seconds that looked adorable and kept up all night. Highly recommend!!!

Erin is super nice and easy to work with. I really looked the most beautiful that I ever have (if I do say so myself). Erin did my hair and it came out perfectly, and even though I was sweating and dancing for hours, there wasn’t a hair out of place at the end of the night. My two sisters/BMs who had their hair done both looked awesome as well. Kim did our makeup and did a spectacular job. I had had my trial with Erin so I was slightly apprehensive, but she completely understood what I wanted, even without any pictures to show her. My sister was very, very pleased with her makeup as well. They always come to you, which was great for getting ready together at home. They were also the most affordable of the places I had looked which was a big plus.

I thought my hair looked beautiful, althought I was told many times that no matter what kind of weather, my hair would stay in place the whole day (my hair was up). However, my hair seemed to be falling down in front of my face during the ceremony, and falling down even more before the reception.

If you're getting married on the Cape or islands, you want Artworx for your hair and makeup, period. Even better- they come to you on the day of, which is 100X better than having to rush over to a salon

The very sweet owner Erin helps manage all inquiries personally, and is clearly a knowledgable, passionate business owner who cares about her staff and customers alike. From the start, she was a delight to work with, very communicative and attentive to her brides' wants and needs.

Megan and Kristin were our hair and makeup artists, and both were lovely, easy to work with and talk to but also really talented in their craft (and pretty efficient too- I felt like our time in the chair was no time at all). During my trial, they 'got' just what I was going for, and did a great job of both taking my preferences into account plus making helpful suggestions and tweaks that I wouldn't have thought of on my own, and were happy to play around until things were just right. On the day of, they arrived at our location with their gear, and put us all at ease immediately. Myself, my mom, and bridesmaids all looked (and felt) amazing, and the entire process went so smoothly, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. I'd recommend Artworx without hesitation!

Erin, the owner of Artworx, is so sweet, responsive and professional. However, you should know (which I didn't before booking) that Erin is not going to be the one providing any of the services. She has 10+ people working for her, and you will meet them at your trial. I was not thrilled with my hair at the trial so I decided to go with another stylist for my own hair, but they did my makeup and hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaid. On the wedding day, the three women were professional and the results on the girls were great. However, they reminded me of the time several times and said they had another wedding to get to by 11. I did not know this when I was booking and did not appreciate being pressured on such a special morning...

My bridesmaids hair and makeup all looked absolutely fantastic. Kara was totally awesome - she knew exactly what everyone wanted, and asked them what they were used to so that they still felt comfortable with their makeup.

My only issue was that I didn't feel any different than my bridesmaids. We had two hair stylists and one makeup artist. My bridesmaids hair and makeup artists showed up at 9am, but my hair stylist showed up at 10:30. She didn't seem very concerned with getting my hair set; and did a few of my bridesmaids before setting my hair. It was disappointing - especially when my hair fell (the curls) before I even got to the ceremony. This, I think, is partially because they recommend clean hair... I wish I wouldn't have cleaned it the morning of.

Love my makeup - it couldn't have been more perfect. And like I said, all of my bridesmaids looked fantastic.

Overall, especially for bridal hair/makeup, I think it was extremely overpriced; because in the end, I got the same treatment (if not something that took less time) than my bridesmaids, and didn't feel that the experience or professionalism of my hair stylist was worth the exorbitant amount that I paid ($225 hair/$225 makeup)

I was an out of state bride and unable to do a hair and makeup trial until the week of my wedding. On my wedding day, the makeup artists were late but did a wonderful job with the airbrush makeup. I was disappointed in the hair. My hair was one if the most important aspects to me and I really wanted something that was different and made a statement. I would rate the hair styles as slightly above average, but they just didn't turn out how I envisioned. They also ran past the scheduled time and caused us to be late to the church and rushed.

Loved Erin, didn't like my wedding day hairstyle

I enjoyed working with Erin, she is very warm and has great energy. I was not happy with my wedding day hair for a few reasons. I found out 2 weeks before my wedding that Erin had a second wedding that day, and would be leaving us at 12pm, my photos were not until several hours later, and my ceremony was not until 6:30pm. My curls started to fall out after she had already left, and her assistant tried to fix them. There was a clear difference in the curls that were fixed vs how they looked originally, and the hairspray was different and made my hair look greasy. Later in the day, my planner was able to get Erin to come back to fix up my hair, at which point the bobby pins were coming loose. The style overall was not what I originally wanted (hair down), but Erin insisted I change due to wind (down/pinned to the side), and I was not happy with it, as my hair looked like it was tied back in all of my photo angles and I later found out that the wind forecast was actually ok for the afternoon. I should have known better after my hair fell immediately following my trial, I met a friend afterwards and she assumed I hadn't had my trial yet that day!

Unresponsive- she owes me money

I booked hair and makeup services for my wedding back in early March, before the virus hit. I paid for all services in full up front, including wedding party, in order to receive a 10% discount. Over the course of 6 months, I have had a very difficult time getting in touch with Erin to communicate changes and schedule a trial. I am not local so it is not easy to schedule and it was almost impossible to get an answer confirming a date. On the week before my trial, we found out we had to cancel our wedding due to restrictions and I reached out immediately to let her know and request a refund. I've called and emailed countless times and have only received one response saying she would look into it. That was 2 weeks ago. I've tried emailing 5 more times since then and called, only to get voicemail. This is a terrible way to treat clients, especially in a time when brides are stressed and struggling with all of the changes due to the pandemic. It is very unprofessional. I want my money!
